Seems to me one thing people absolutely love to buy for babies is blankets. Whether bought or made you can bet a good amount of baby gifts will be blankets. So is the case with my last little guy who just came. A few co-workers went in on a gift basket for us and included of course... a blanket. As soon as I pulled out the super soft, super cute Cater’s baby blanket, I was in love. — — Measuring approximately 30” X 40” the blanket I have is identical to the one pictured, being a white fleece with the words “Sweet Baby” embroidered in soft colors. Yes, you read that right, white... This is probably its number one downfall. There has been several times it has gone across something dusty, or slammed in the car door and the dirt shows like crazy against the white. I have since washed it several times in regular wash cycles with no difficulty and all of the dirt has come out. It also holds up...

As a mother of 3 boys finding quality products and making them last is a must. I bought my first Gymboree blanket 8 years ago and loved it. They became a favorite gift to give to expecting moms right away. About 4 years ago something happened to the quality of the material they were using to make blankets and for some reason only the blankets that are white in color still measure up to my expectations. I have tried different colors, patterns and seasons and come to only trust and stand by the Gymboree blankets that are white on at least one side....

I have always loved the Carter's brand, and their baby blankets are no exception! We have had several brands of blankets since my daughter was born... she is now three, and the Carter's ones are still her favorite! They are not quite big enough to cover her anymore, but she still likes to cuddle with them. These blankets have withstood milk, juice, food, dirt, grease, blood, and numerous other stains. They have been washed and dried dozens (if not hundreds) of times, and they have held up very well and are still SO soft (probably softer)! I would definitely recommend these to any new parent, and I frequently try to buy these as gifts for new mothers and babies. Try a Carter's blanket -- you won't be disappointed! —...

The Halo Sleepsacks are a great way to keep baby warm at night without using potentially dangerous blankets! The zipper zips from top to bottom, so you don't have to completely unzip it to change a diaper - a very good thing if your baby is still asleep and you don't want to wake them. I've seen them in two weights - a cozy fleece for the winter and a lighter cotton for warmer months. There's even a toddler version that has holes for their feet so they can walk without tripping! Definitely something I'd recommend to every...

Innova says "A must have for a long peaceful, safe sleep." about Halo Micro Fleece Sleepsack Wearable Baby Blanket

We just had our third child 3 weeks ago. Our previous children are now 6 and 3. Boy, were we missing out without the Halo Sleep Sack. — — We discovered it when the hospital dressed our newborn in it. The picture on this site doesn't show it, but the most amazing thing is the velcro "wings" that swaddle your baby. With our two previous kids, we had to wrap them in blankets. I was not nearly as good at that as my wife, but even when she did the swaddling, any movement by the child would cause them to come unwrapped. As any parent would know, once a newborn is no longer confined they will wake up. — — The "wings" of the sleep sack keep the baby swaddled all night long. This allows them (and you) to get a good night's sleep. — — These are a bit expensive, but they are worth every penny. I guess the Halo company is allowed to make some money off of this great...

I got a gymboree baby blanket as a baby gift and instantly thought I wouldn't use it very much. After my daughter turned 4 weeks she developed the need to be swaddled but I didn't have any blankets that would keep her in nice and tight, until I tried this blanket! I alternate between two different prints and absolutely love this blanket. It is also one of the softest blankets and warm without making my baby sweat. We live in a very hot climate so this is an issue with swaddling! I suggest buying several of these since they are so practical and reasonable in...

To the PointOver a year ago my daughter got the Berkshire Serasoft Blanket as a shower gift. It was on her registry at Linens & Things http://www.lnt.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=berkshire%20blanket&origkw=Berkshire%20blanket&sr=1 — or just type the name of the blanket in the search box at into www.lnt.com. It's as good now as it was then. — A Closer View — She wanted this as a blanket to cuddle under while on her couch. The prices range from $20 to $50 depending on the size. You can choose twin, full or queen/king. She chose the largest size and in the color chocolate. It also comes in red, blue, sand, sage, sand, white, truffle, and ivy. — The blanket is made of 100% polyester and can be machine washed on cold and machine dried. It is so soft! One side is obviously the top side and the fuzzy side and the other side is smoother. It's beautiful and so warm. She has not had any pilling. — This makes a great and affordable gift. I can't imagine anyone...

We have recently had a newgrand son. And of course being a proud grandparent I have been shopping for months. I think it is so important that babies have nice soft and cozy blankets, but they also need to be warm and easy to care for. I want something you can throw into the washer and dryer with out having to worry about the outcome. The lulleby blankets are just that soft warm, and the are resonably priced. I love the design and also the material. If I was to have any type of complaint it would be the sixe. I wish they would make these blankets just a little bigger. Overall I am very pleased with this product and will buy...

Doggie is a must-have at night time in our house. He is a small portable blanket (more like a flat stuffed animal) with a doggie head. He is cuddly and sweet looking with teething knots at the ends. Doggie is my son's BABY, his best buddy at night time, and SUPER soft! — Doggie (also known as Snuggle Friend Blanket) in made by a company called Angel Dear. I do remember that I bought him at kookoo bear kids online, and they dont provide the specific manufacturer there. — The Snuggle Friend Blanket comes in many different designs-- as a giraffe, bunny, chick, doggie (of course!), lion-- all of which are super cute. They also wrap them in cute little mesh bags so they have good presentation if you want to give them as a gift. They wash very well and keep their cuddle factor for a long time.
