It lets you keep in touch with people and reconnect with old friends. But like most things, there is a drawback. Everything you put onto your profile becomes public domain. Any pictures or videos you put up can be looked at by anyone unless you make your profile private. Even then someone could still break into your account and see something you want only your friends to have access to, especially if you have a falling out with someone who knows your password or is on your friends list. So basically, Myspace is a good website but you have to be careful what you put into it. You have to make sure you only add whatever pictures or content you're ok with the world...
