Blogger.com was recommended by a friend and I have not regretted creating my first blog. Blogger is user friendly and there are several templates from which to choose. Yes, I went through several before making a decision. That is one of the things that make it special. Just keep testing the templates and layouts until you find one that you like.

It has been a learning process. Creating a blog is a bit different from writing the code for a web page. Blogger uses XML and that mark up language is a bit different. My experience has been with HTML, XHTML and CSS. I am always ready to learn different methods to achieve the desired results.

I have seen blogs for famiies, musicians, artists, chefs, writers, advertisers and a combination of all of them. Blogger also provides a way for families to keep in touch. Blogger provides a place where the possibilities are endless. My experience with Blogger has been teriffic.

This web site has saved me so much money. My cabinets are so full. I cant put another thing in. It is so easy to use. My best shopping trip so far has been to Bloom. I got seventy dollars worth of food for seven dollars. I get free stuff at the CVS all the time. I save so much money and the website does all the work. All my local grocery stores are included. All drug stores. And then some added deals that the website owner comes across she then passes the deals on to her readers. And I am an avid reader of this site. I dont go shopping until I first look at this site. I have been able to get many of my Christmas gifts for free. This helps alot cause then I can save all my money for trips. With my savings from this summer I went on a cruise in the carribean with many of my friends. I will continue to use this website every week. I am so thankful for the help. I love the savings.

A friend recommended the moneysavingmom website and since first checking it out, I've visited the site regularly, and even signed up for daily emails (something I hardly ever do). The daily blog provides notice of deals, high value coupon alerts, coupon matchups and links to free items, as well as tips for living on a budget. The site is very organized, and the author is extremely upbeat and energetic (check out her weekly grocery roundup or her recent baking day posts). She also often offers her readers the opportunity to win free products. The coupon matchups alone have saved me hours of time matching up weekly sales circulars with available online and paper coupons, and I found out about a number of unadvertised specials (such as K-Mart's double coupon days) which I never would have known about. I've found I've become a much more organized shopper, and I've cut down on my household spending while increasing my both the quality and quantity of my purchases.

I can't give this website enough praise! It is super user friendly and full of great money saving ideas. It is amazing how much time is put into making this site. I don't even need to go thru the weekly ad's anymore because she does all the work for me! I just clip my weekly coupons and head to her website to find out where the deals are. There are an abundance of links to free samples/items/contests too. What I love about the free samples/items links is the fact that she takes the time to let you know what samples/items she received so you know that the offer are ligitimate. She also gives tons of tips on how to save money (tried and true tips that she has documented from personal experience). She is very througho and includes detailed information and pictures. The site is well organized and easy to navigate. She even has instructions for the newbies to her site about how certain deals work and what the abreviations mean. It only took me a few minutes to get the gist...

This is a site I visit several times a week.I'm a mother of 4 so I'm always looking for graet deals and coupons,freebies & giveaways.I love to enter all of the giveaways, I never win any but,there are always several great giveaways posted on this site.

If there is a freebie offer out there it is going to be posted on this site. I just sent in for a free pint of glidden paint,and I found out about the offer on this site.I have a set of shelves i need to repaint,so this came at a great time.

If you are contemplating a way to keep friends and family up to date on your life or if you just like to put your thoughts, ideas, or opinions on "paper" then I would highly recommend Blogger to you. I have had my personal blog www.liveoakbradybunch.com with Blogger for a little over a year and I absolutely love it. I can share funny stories about our family, keep family and friends that live out of state apprised of things going on in our life, and just share interesting facts that I have found with the world wide web. You can also very easily make your Blog your "own" by either using any of the great standard templates or easily customizing one to your liking. Using Blogger has led me to get interested in graphic design and I am now playing around with Adobe Photoshop designing my own backgrounds and headers. You can also add your twitter or facebook feeds directly into your blog. Overall it is a great social site that allows you to stay connected.

Daryn Kagan's blog is such a breath of fresh air when seeing news these days. She hunts out the most positive and uplifting stories she can find. I call them tearjerkers, motivators, and stories that should put the rest of us to shame in the way we respond to others in need. Her blog has links to all the stories on her website. Many of her stories give others ways to take action in something that is important to them.

My favorite one lately is the program where dentists buy back Halloween candy for $1/pound. They then ship it to the soldiers in warzones. Following the links, you can put in your zipcode and find a participating dentist in your area. The only downfall, at least in my area, is that there are so few participating dentists. I wish more dentists knew and would sign up to be a part.

This site has much to offer the bloger out there. Beside blogging, it will let you add pictures, podcasts and videos. You can write about anything you want. They even except adult content. Write a poem, a story, tell your reader about yourself, how you feel about things.

You can read other peoples blogs, become thier friends and follow what they have to say. Invite your friends to come join. It doesn't cost a thing. You have control of what you want to do with your own blog. You can name your blog, create it to your own taste.

Its worth checking out if your a writer too. Share your ideas with people you don't know. Read others and look at some pretty cool pictures and videos. You can leave comments so others can see what you thought of what they wrote or posted there.

I've been using the site for six months now and I like it a lot. Reading what others have to say is pretty cool. Sometimes I even learn something new from what I read. Most people on there write about how they feel about things,...

Elegant Word Art is one of my absolutely favorite websites! It is actually a blog, but Bethany, the blogger, is one very talented woman! You can use word art in digital scrapbooks, creative photo gifts, homemade greeting cards, etc. Really, you can use it for any creative use you can think of. Ok, the first step is to admit you have a problem, right? Well, I have a problem - I am addicted to FREE SAMPLES!!! I recently fell upon this website and have been filling up my mail bos with free samples of everything. Can I also tell you that it does not fill up my email box with crap either?! Yes, I am serious.....most, if not all of the sites she suggests are on the up and up - companies like Kashi, P&G, etc....all offering free samples that maybe the general public doesn't know about. It's refreshing to be able to voice your opinion. I talk a lot so it was only natural for me to have my own blog. It's free of charge and exposure depends on your following. I don't have a large following yet. I've heard that your blogs should be frequent. I'm a busy mom, so I do it when I can. I suppose that could be a reason I don't have much of a following. It's a great site though. I'm proud to be able to voice my opinion in such a way so other people can read and relate to my material and give their own insight.

My sister introduced me to Postsecret.com years ago. Every Sunday I would log on (new secrets are posted on Sunday's) and read the new postcards that were on the website. There is always an interesting array of secrets--some deep, some superficial, some sad and others happy. You never have any idea of what you will find. I liked the site so much (and so did so many others) that I bought 2 of the PostSecret books. I even bought some of the books for friends that I thought would enjoy them as much as me. The best part about the PostSecret idea is that is it completely anonymous (unless for some reason you identify yourself on the card). People can get out their worst or best secrets and have millions of others ready them...but have no idea who the person was that sent it in. Some of the postcards are homemade, some not...some very artistic, others very simple. The ranges vary so much...which makes it even better. I must admit, I jumped on the stay-at-home-mommy blogger bandwagon when it first rolled out. I am an internet junkie. I use the internet for hours a day - reading, writing, etc.

As a professional writer and personal blogger, I have found that Blogger.com is one of the best sites around. It is easy to use, which is great not only for those who may be less computer savvy but also those who just may not have enough time to be computer savvy. The interface is similar to composing an email, complete with MS Word-type tools. It also has easy buttons to add hyperlinks, photos, and videos.

I have also found that Blogger.com makes it easy for people to read. It is easy for anyone to sign up via Google Reader or any email address. While many sites only allow comments by registered members, Blogger gives you the option of allowing anyone to comment. This means that Grandma doesn't have to set up her own account, just to comment on your newest post about Junior.

Blogger.com does have a few disadavantages,...

When I was job hunting back in 2005-2006, I used many websites to aid in my search. CareerBuilder was one of these sites. Its interface is not very friendly and not very fun to look at. Its very bare bones and finding the jobs you are wanting to find can be tedious. I was able to find lots of jobs there though and got a lot of interviews through the job listings I replied to via this site, but I did not actually find a job through this site. I would recommend it to everyone just the same though, as you can never have too many places to look for a job when you need one. Its a good resource once you get used to it and learn all its secrets.

I've been looking for a job on almost EVERY website possible, so I decided to sign up on execcrossing.com because I figured why not. I like the ease of searching for things and I love that you can create numerous resumes that you can customize to different positions that you may be qualified for or that you're looking for. I also like that you can create formatted cover letters that are specific to each job you want to apply to as well and you can mix and match resumes to each when you go to apply for a job. You can also save searches and have updates sent to your email address for numerous positions. The only problem that I have with execcrossing.com is that I get random emails from them saying there are new jobs in the town I'm located in, but nothing is on the email when I open it. It just talks about signing up on execcrossing.com. Also, I've only ever heard back from temp agencies and nothing from direct hire clients, but I think that's what's normal for job boards to be honest.
