FrugalShopper says "Finally a label that's great for large mailings" about Avery easy peel labels

I only use Avery brand labels. The easy peel labels are great if you're creating a lot of new files or doing a mailing. When a column is removed, there's about 1/4" of the right side of the label that doesn't have backing, making it easy to peel off the sheet.

I make sheets of address labels also. Some times I only use 1 or 2 and still have most of the sheet left so I don't have to make frequently used labels every day. The sheet columns peel apart unexpectedly and stick to every thing.

I didn't know I was buying easy peel when I got them. At the time I would have bought them because they were new and what I'd longed for in the past.

Since I don't do many large label projects at this time it's kind of a problem having the sheets coming apart all the time.

For my purposes I wouldn't buy them again. I would LOVE them if I did large mailings.
...

gcbctc says "nice touch but difficult to use" about Avery easy peel labels

This year I was ready in October to update my Christmas list, download from Excel and upload to Word...so I could use my new Template for labels from Avery. I have used quite successfully in the past may different size Avery products but this was the first attempt at labels with a logo (Christmas Holly) on it. Well to say that after 1 hour of trying I was about ready to start writing, when hearing the shouts of anger from the next room, my husband sat down and tried. 1 1/2 hours later, we finally succeeded and not by using the step by step instructions, but pure determination and a lot of luck. They look great, but not sure I will attempt next year....

TheBard says "You buy em' cheap you buy em' twice" about Avery 8160 Inkjet Mailing Labels

I own and have owned inkjet printer for the last 15 years now, and I have learned a few things about coaxing quality output from various HP inkjet printers. For every day printing I use 22-24 pound 92-94 brightness inkjet or multi purpose paper. For me there is marked difference between inkjet paper and regular copy paper; because of the brightness and weight of the inkjet paper it produces far better print.

So when I undertook a recent advertising campaign for my small computer consulting firm, I used Avery Dennison 8160 Inkjet Mailing Labels. The 1" x 2 5/8" pre-clued labels come in (25) sheets of (30) labels per sheet, packaged in sleeves of 750 labels per. Specially designed for inkjet printers, the 8160 Inkjet Mailing Labels also have ready-made templates in Microsoft Word that make designing and printing the labels a snap.

My Viewpoint

I have tried other labels most prominently office supply stamped labels and they have left me underwhelmed. While Avery 8160 Inkjet Mailing...
...
