One sorry company they take huge advantage of their so called "contractors" Did you know that your service installer may not have even been paid for the work they preformed @ your home---Wow in the form of "Chargebacks" Insight "steals" money back from their installers even if your service works properly they may come up with a bogus charge possibly due to a typo on your internet test or failed test call on your phone, your service may work great, and you may pay your bill for 10 years but this company may not even pay to have your service installed. They are nothing but low life corporate theives, also remember all prices they give are promotional and will increase yearly.

How about that a company that does not pay its installers??? And this is legal??
...

I like how it has allot of shows that I have never seen. I bought comcast cable to watch the Denver Nuggets NBA Basket ball team play. The situation about haveing those stations for the Nugget's is prefect I have been able; to watch every game so far this year.Probably at a much cheaper price than going to the games. With comcast I can even watch The home games.I first decided To subscribe for comcast when I saw a advertisement a special offer for thirty dollars a moth .so I called comcast .I talked to the sales representative and she explained about a package ,so I didnt Know if this package was what I whanted. She wasnt real familiar withThe Denver nuggets and I only bought comcast becouse of the Nugget games. She talked me into buying the preferred package witch has more channels and the services includes...
...

nyliferocks says "SCAN2PDF Android App Replaces The Need For A Flatbed Scanner" about Burrotech - Scan2PDF Android Application

I am a G1 mobile phone owner and I download new free applications weekly into my phone. Most of them offer a great service or feature I am looking for. I recently paid for my first application which is called Scan2PDF Mobile from Burrotech. Burrotech’s application cost me just over $1 USD and has become the best application I have ever used for my mobile phone. Scan2PDF Mobile is a program that uses your G1 phone camera to “scan” documents and convert them into a .PDF file.

Scan2PDF enables you to scan a document with your phones camera, convert it to a pdf, save the result on your phones SD card and email it as an attachment. In a recent update Burrotech also included a PDF viewer to view your PDF documents. The downloaded program size shows 136kb of space. The unique feature of this program is its ability to scan every word so you are able to read it on your screen just as you would with a regular scanner. Normally when you take a picture of a document with your mobile phone...
...

ValerieAnne says "Brilliant" about T-Mobile

I've only had T-Mobile for a little over a year. They have never let me down though. They have the best customer service of any provider that I have been with, and I've tried the majority of the major carriers.

The Customer service reps are always happy and cheerful to help you if you have an issue. Even the simple things, like changing your account/plan are easier to do with them! You just have to give a few details to verify who you are, then tell them what you want, and they do the rest.

NICE, HELPFUL PEOPLE WORK AT T-MOBILE! If for any reason you get somebody not so nice, you can always hang up and try again.

They have some of the best plans in the business - def the cheapest, The biggest bang for your buck!!
...

astone50 says "DirecTV was a flop; customer service worse in the industry." about DIRECTV

We love our television, probably too much. We decided to go without any television service for the spring, summer, and early fall. Then as the Holidays drew near we needed it back. We decided to give DirecTV a shot since they advertised the best price. We enrolled online, they showed up and installed the service very quickly, and the installer was very pleasant and easy to deal with. That's where the good times ended. We lost the service during the first heavy rain (a week after installation.) We called in a service order and it took a week and a half to schedule the service. While awaiting the service we noticed that our bill was higher than it was supposed to be (actually twice as much.) We also noticed that the first bill had been marked as paid even though we had not authorized a debit from our account. After checking our account we noticed that it was not taken out. Assuming it must have been an error we called to let them know that someone else's payment had been applied to our account....
...

Virgin Mobile is without a doubt provides the worst customer service I have ever experienced...and I'm an old fart. Let me rant. I got a VM cell for my brother and I agreed to pay for it. The first month, no problem, but then I started getting billed twice a month and in October, 2009 three times a month. One would think that this is a very simple problem to correct. But let me tell you - I have lived a nightmare talking to their customer "service" people. I had my charge card bills in hand and told them when and how much they charged me. The VM person "could not see these charges" on their screens. So I emailed them and listed the charges. Their responses were like those of a child. Whoever answers the phone - and I have talked to numerous VMers - cannot seem to help me for various reasons. It's almost like the Dawn of the Dead over there at Virgin Mobile. I have been in touch with the "ourteam" group and they are horrible. I rarely complain but let me warn you - stay...
...

I have recently moved into my brother's house due to the fact that he could no longer afford the payment and choose to move to a rental. I called to get directv set up in my home. Directv told me that I would have to pay a $200.00 deposit and that each month part of that deposit would be applied back to my bill. That was fine, so I gave them my bank card information. They took the money from my account. I called to confirm my installation I was told to call another number. When I called I was told that my brother had not paid his bill from them in 2008 and until the bill was paid that they could not set up service for me and asked "Can you take care of this today". I told them it was not my bill and I was not willing to pay it. When I asked about my money I was told that it was nonrefundable and the only thing was dispute it through my bank. When I did this directv told my bank that my installation was never canceled so no refund could be issued. I called back and was given another number,...
...

At first I didn't like this company but eventually I grew to like the fact that this company is very straight forward they show you the minuets that you have used and that you have remaining right there on the screen, so that you cant go over any minuets and you always know how many that you have. The only suggestion that I have for this company is that they get with the program and offer something free, like free nights and weekends or free mobile to mobile. I didn't like some of the coverage either, in some areas I had an echo in the cell phone although it could have just been the LG phone that I was using. The company offers very reasonably priced phone at lots of locations so it is easy to find and purchase a phone. I do have another suggestion for the company and it is that if you are going to offer your services at Dollar stores then you should offer lower priced minuets like offer a ten dollar card other than that Tracfone is great.
...

Sprint was the only company that would give me a plan without a deposit and they approved me for up to three lines! Sprint rocks in my books because of the chance they took on me when no other cell phone carrier would. I would recommend Sprint to anyone that is having a hard time finding a cell phone provider that will accept them for a reasonable deposit. I walked into the store in the mind frame that I was going to have to pay around a two hundred dollar deposit because I knew that Sprint was known for at least the lowest deposits but when the customer service agent told me that I was approved fro three lines and no deposit.. I almost kissed her. I was in such need for a cell phone at that time. They also offer some very reasonable plans, I signed up for the plan that offers the unlimited talk to any cell phone and unlimited data and texting which is waht I use the most. I would suggest that if get a phone, get one with sprint.
...

NMiller says "Pricing likely to change on you randomly" about Dish network

I decided to get Dish Network because it was a way to get HD channels without paying an arm and a leg. When I signed up, I was told my total monthly bill would be $29.99. I was excited because I thought this was a great price. But, when I got my first bill, it was for $34.99 plus tax. I called and talked to a representative who basically told me that my old representative was wrong but there was nothing I could do about it. They wouldn't even waive the fee for me to break my contract, which in my opinion they already broke by not giving me the price they promised. Whatever, I decided I still wanted the service for the extra $5/month, but that still made me pretty mad.

But then I got a lovely letter in the mail (only 3 days after I got my very first bill) informing me that my bill would increase to $39.99 the following month because of Dish Network's increased operating costs. I called customer service again, but still got no help. So, basically I'm now stuck in a two-year...
...

Junell says "Landline that works for me......" about Vonage

I have used Vonage since 2006 and I only have a couple complaints: One is that if you loose internet service (which is required) you loose phone service. I have had a good number of dropped calls over the years but my cell phone is what I use most.

One the positive side, I save money because to have a bundle package with Comcast (PHONE, internet and cable) would cost me more than what I pay now. I love having my voicemail alerts coming to my e-mail at work. I can check my messages directly from my desk without having to dial a number. Also, not having any hidden fees is a plus.

For what I pay a month, it's worth it! No, it's not a perfect service but it fits my needs.

I had Comcast for my home phone, TV and internet. I was paying $140.00 a month. When my contract was up the bill went to $220.00 per month. I called customer service to try to down grade my service to make it affordable. The woman I spoke to was rude and acted like I was taking money from her. I told my husband and he said if they treat you like that don't do business with them. I went on line to get my service switched back to AT&T and Directv. The next day Comcast turned off my internet. I called them to find out what the problem was. They said I made changes to my account so they "put my modem to sleep". I asked them to wake it up. I called every day for about 10 days but they never turned it back on. After all my services were switched they called to say they were still working on the problem!! I had already paid for the month because you must pay in advance. I have 200 minutes per month and use probably only 60, so it would be nice to have rollover, but then all that would result if oodles of left over minutes that I do not need. So far, my only complaint is that if you try to get second line for another ATT phone it won't work -plus activation fee is $35.00. Will stay with this for awhile untiI I become more technically savvy - the will look into "deals" offered by other carriers.
...

I was sent a Vonage phone I never ordered. I called Vonage on 11/12/2009 to report it. They determined the phone was ordered under fraudulent terms by someone else, using an entirely different person's credit card. I asked Vonage to stop any further activity involving my name address and phone number, and told them to close this account that was opened under fraudulent terms. They told me I would have to wait 10 days for their fraud dept. to get back to me. On 11/13/2009 my home phone number was taken ( ported ) by Vonage with out my consent, and my service provider ( Qwest ) also gave it to them without my consent. Have been fighting Vonage for 7 days, with multiple phone calls to multiple people, including supervisors, managers, etc to give my home phone number back to Qwest, as Qwest can't do anything until the number is given back by Vonage. I did not order this service. It was ordered with someone else’s credit card I do not know. It was ordered with a fraudulent e-mail address....
...

its a shame cox sucks, but they all do! As americancs we should be used to third or forth rate service! We have asked for it for over a century, so I guess we have nothing to complain about. As far as Cox Sucking, we have the "fastest" internet package available for Meriden Connecticut, Meriden is a city but it is full of unemployed people, so what should we expect, a higher than average bill for somewhat average service, it is fast, it is as fast as Comcast, difference is the price, if you are Tech savy, get a T1, if you can afford it, and if you live in an area that Cox Serves, try to save for a T1, if not the fastest Cox has is alright, we have 5 phone lines running on it, and three pcs, a ps3, and two cable boxes, never misses anything, my only real complaint is

We recently switched from AT&T Uverse to Comcast triple play for phone, internet and cable to save money. Comcast offered a really good package for all three with good benefits as well. The phone service and internet service have been great. We have had some problems with the cable service however. For the first five days I had to keep calling in because we had problems with two out of the three cable boxes. We finally had to go trade them in at the Comcast store. Once we returned home had to spend another twenty minutes on the phone with them to get the two replacement boxes authorized.

Also you can only record up to two channels at a time. With AT&T Uverse you can record four. You can only watch the recorded shows on the same tv that you recorded them on. With AT&T you are able to watch them on any box. The tv service itself but it does take some getting use to switching from AT&T.
...

I've been with a large company for many years. Almost 10 if I remember correctly. Dont know if I'm allowed to say the name, but it starts with a "S" and ends with "print".... Didn't have any problems with them, but with the way times are, I wanted to save where I could.

I use my phone to make phonecalls and that's it. I do not text or surf the web on it. I use on average less than 100 mins a month. I was paying too much for extra fluff that I didnt use or need. Almost went with some of the prepaid plans out there, but I didnt want to deal with having to buy mins. Then I saw the Consumer Cellular commercial on TV. When I calculated out the price of what I used a monthly with prepaid or C.C., it was relatively close. I personally prefer having a montly plan. Just what I'm use to I guess.

I didn't call my order in. I did it online, so I can't comment if I'm talking to someone that I can actually understand or not.....

Anyways, the process was simple. You select your phone...
...

HockeyBunny4011 says "T-mobile errrrrrr :(" about T-Mobile

I have been with t-Mobile for 7 years. I don't know why . I dont like the fact that they say the bills have been sent and i get them days after the bill was due. They do offter paperless billing which i signed up for but they still send the paper bills. I think the services they offer are good until you see the hidden charges. They shut your phone off even if your one day late even though it was their fault in the first place.

My other family members have swithed companies bc of these and more reasons

I also don't get service in alot of areas!
...

vamseedhar says "Never trust them - Awful service - never untrue" about Dish network

The customer service is worst. I was talking to one of the guys and he was not even ready to listen to what I had to say. The story goes like this:

When I was taking the connection, Dish had promised that the Cinemax will be free for an year at a penny and also offerred HBO/Starz for 3 months. I called them after 3 months to disconnect HBO/Starz, they took off the Cinemax along with that.

I called after a month to check on the same and they said that the promotion was over. I mentioned that I was promised Cinemax for an year however the Supervisor was not even ready to listen to me. He was just yelling on the other side of the line.

Please don't believe them. They just cheat to get business.
