Online website, poorly designed and numerous incorrect print size recommendations. They will readily reprint an order again, incorrectly, taking another week of your time. Suggested I email them about the problems that I had with the site. After complaining about a poorly designed website, and missing information on the site, Customer Service was condescending and insulting. I suggested that they put the name of my print file on the back of the print, they suggested I take the 100+ prints I ordered and write the names on the back myself. That would look very professional (sarcasm), not to mention the hours of time it would take. Left a bad taste in my mouth. They are not interested in making their site...

Do you have tons of digital pictures that are not organized for display and viewing? Shutterfly provides a creative and professional looking way to organize, share, and display photos and memories. I can not say enough good things about Shutterfly. I receive so many compliments on the things I have produced with Shutterfly. I really appreciate the quality results you get wth this service. Shutterfly is easy to use and provides templates that enable you to creatively display your images. Photobooks:I have created a photo book every year to organize pictures from the year that show my son's growth and development.

I was a little nervous about using a site that I'd never heard of before but took a chance and uploaded my pictures, ordered 50 5x7 50 4x6 and received them in a short amount of time. Shipping was 9.95 for 100 pictures. They do come from Hong Kong so expect it to take about a week. The quality was the same as Kodak or Snapfish (both I've used before). The pictures are printed on Fuji paper, I'll definitely use them again, plus I have 300 more picture to print....

Have you ever had one of those days where you had a many years worth of photos on your hard drive thinking they would be safe forever and then your hard drive goes Kaput and all your photos are gone forever? — Yeah, been there done that and boy was I crushed. After that wonderful moment happened to me and I loaded a new hard drive I opted to keep my photos not only on my hard drive, but also on different web sites to keep them safe if this should happen again. — I keep many pictures on Flickr.com and I have really enjoyed it. You can have your pictures Public or Private...the choice is yours, but I go for public and with this I have met people from all over the world seeing their beautiful pictures and they have fun seeing mine as well. I have even found many of my family members on here.
I ordered a sterling silver photo bracelet for my stepdaughter. For $39.99 I had certain expectations that were not met! Having used Snapfish for prints, I have to say I have been happy with the quality and service, which is about the same as I've had with Shutterfly. However, I will not order a photo gift from Snapfish again! — First of all, the shipping took an incredibly long time. I placed my order on May 18th. On May 22nd, I recieved a notification that my order was complete and was ready for shipping. Not bad at all as far as processing time! However, my order was not even shipped until May 28th, and I did not get my item until today, June 3rd. Holding on to my item for nearly a week before shipping it was unacceptable, even if I did only pay for "standard" shipping. I missed the gift-giving occasion for which the bracelet had initially been purchased! Luckily I have a very sweet and understanding...

jhorsager says "if you value your work, don't use this lab" about Kodak Easy Share Gallery

I've used this lab 5 times. Twice they lost my negatives, and once they sent me negatives that weren't mine. I called x3 on my lost negatives, and each time they told me to 'give it more time'. Each rep gave me some arbitrary date in the future. When I called after the arbitrary day, they gave me another arbitrary day. Kafkaesque. Then they acted like I was the asshole because my frustration was mounting.1. "10 days" — 2. "10 business days" — 3. "up to 21 days" — After 21 days: "we'll reimburse you ($5!)" — Oh and when I called about the negatives that weren't mine and asked where I should send them...they told me to throw them away. — I said I could easily throw them in a mailer and send them back. 'No,' they replied, 'just go ahead and throw them away.' — What a class operation. — If you value your work avoid this lab. Seriously. —...

victoriatai says "Not worth the few cents saved; very let down by photos" about Snapfish

I will give Snapfish credit for prompt shipping. I decided to go with Snapfish because Shutterfly (which I've used for years) had a glitch that didn't allow me to easily load my digital travel photos. The 20-free-prints seemed incentive enough to try it out. — — Results are in, and I just got my photos in the mail. UGH. This is unfit to put in an album or show off. I am so disappointed with trying out Snapfish. — — First, the cutting machine needs to be sharpened so that each slice is clean and straight. My photos look like they were sliced by a very rather dull blade with slight tears off the end. — — Second. The photos were all cut in uneven size in length differing in a range between 3mm. Did they do this one by one?! I ordered 4x6s---not 4x5.8s, and 4x6.1 — — Third, the cut was so imprecise such that part of the previous photo ended up in the next photo (3-4mm). That ruined about forty photos alone. I'm not about to do all...

I discovered photobucket through using myspace. It's a very easy to use site that hosts pictures and videos. I find that it is the easiest place to look for photos of basically anything. When my son needs photos for reports for school, we look on photobucket first. — Through photobucket you can scan photos that others post, then add them to your own album or post them directly into your blog, website, or email. You can pick the size you'd like your pictures to be, or you can even edit other photos that are up on the site when you save it to your own album. — When using myspace, you can spend a lot of time searching different sites looking for funny comments to send to other people. But, photobucket is a one-stop site where you can find it all. Icons, avatars, comments, graphics for your page....everything & anything. — Did I mention it's free????? — ...

There are plenty of places online to store and share photos, and to order the pictures you took at Aunt Aggie's 70th birthday party. There are also online websites that allow you to purchase professional photography and large scale art prints. In my mind, Webshots provides the best resource for enjoying the greatest variety of photos (and videos) from pros and novices alike. Webshots has both free and premium memberships. I am signed up for a free membership, and it gives me everything I'm looking for. My primary reason for signing up was that I wanted the ability to download lots of pictures to use for my computer's wallpaper and screensaver. With a website containing more than 520 million pictures--and counting!--I knew that I would never run out of photos to download. — Once I signed up for the service, I downloaded the Webshots program file and installed it on my system. It's a straightforward program that is easy to use and which works in...

I love kodakgallery.com. I started using them after a few bad experiences with Snapfish.com. They are a bit more expensive than Snapfish but you get what you pay for which is good quality pictures. The only thing is you have to be sure of your order 100% before you submit it because you can't cancel it at all, even if you make a mistake. Like for instance today I noticed that I forgot to order certain pictures after I already had put an order in and after calling the customer service line I was told by a recording that the order couldn't be cancelled so I end up paying twice for shipping charges. My mistake though. Other than that this site has worked well for me. You can also check your order history however sometimes the site has technical difficulties and it won't show you your order history at all. It states you don't have any orders within the last 30 days or so when in fact you do. You...

Walgreens Rebate Catalog is a wonderful way to save money. Every month Walgreens puts out a new catalog which usually has one or more things that you will receive all you money back for(tax excluded, of course) also the store usually runs some specials for the things in in the catalog. If you have them put your rebate on a Walgreens gift card which they refill with your rebates every month, you get a 10% bonus. By only having to send in for the rebates once a month you only use 1 stamp per month. Some of the "freebies" I was unable to use I was able to donate to charity... win...

I began using the cvs photo center just recently - when I came across the offer for 50 free prints. I am working on a photo project involving scanning & printing very old family photos. Most are not in good condition. However, despite the fact that the cvs photo center has not recommended printing these photos because of poor resolution, the quality of the photo prints has been outstanding. The site is relatively easy to use. There are several options for editing and special effects (such as printing in black & white or sepia). There is a cropping function, but it is not very user friendly. It does not allow you to "custom" crop the photos, but only lets you crop proportionally to the orientation of the uploaded photo. — You have the option of one hour printing, which allows you to pick up the photos at your local CVS. You can also opt for the standard processing, which takes a few days. With this option,...

GMRsMom says "Decent prints but AWFUL customer service" about Snapfish

Snapfish does make it easy to share photos with friends and family. The site is free and easy to use. And the prices per print are pretty good. They have a lot of different gifts you can order from photo-books to calendars to mugs to photo greeting cards for all occasions. The option to ship or pick-up prints is nice, though it's going to cost a lot more to pick-up your photos. — — However, Snapfish does have a couple of huge downsides: — — Downside #1 - even with a broadband connection it takes forever to upload pictures if you have more than a couple. — — Downside #2 - I've noticed that the bottom set of pictures on the wallet sheets seem to be cropped along the top. I haven't had anything major cut out to make them unusable, but it's something to watch out for. — — Downside #3 -The customer service is TERRIBLE! On one order I had spent over $100 on photos and ordered them 2nd day...

Walgreens is one place where shopping is NOT a pleasure. Their lines are often long and they're often out of stock of items I'm looking for. Like today I went to two different stores without finding the kind of aspirin I wanted. Often checkers mess up when there's supposed to be something on sale or the sale price is not in the computer or something and so now I've started to mention it when a particular item is a two-for-one sale, etc. I wish they'd say it out loud so I could see that they've noted the sale price, instead of having to study my receipt later, as I really don't trust them. I've had to put up with rudeness from checkers at two other Walgreens. Fortunately there are a lot of these chains around, so if I really hate going back to one of them I can always go out of my way and hope for better customer service at another. Once I picked up two different sale flyers and when I tried to buy an item because it was supposed to be on sale in one of the flyers, it was not honored....

Before I owned my digital camera I never paid much attention to any Snapfish ads. At the same time, I did not realize how expensive photos could be! Once I got my digital camera, I realized I would not be able to afford to get the photos printed except for using a service such as Snapfish! — Snapfish turned out to be a total life-saver! I snapped over 1000 photos in no time (I am a first-time mother!) and I've been able to easily get them developed! — The only problem I have with the snapfish photos I received was that sometimes, even with a "true digital print", they cut off some of the picture! I wasn't happy when I saw my brother's head chopped! — However, Snapfish runs many promotions that save me a lot of money!!!! I even got 20 free photos for referring my friend! — I think it is a fun and affordable photo service! —...
