Quick View: This product is natural which is clearly a plus but not only is it big and ugly, it doesn't last long at all. For $6.00, I expect a solid freshener to work for at least a few weeks. I am not at all impressed with Citrus Magic Solid Air Freshener.

My Take on Citrus Magic Solid Air Freshener

This product comes in a round, white plastic tub with slits in it for the solid freshener inside to release its scent. It's big and ugly so I hide it behind things or put it near the litter box but it doesn't have the power to destroy tough odors like litter box type ones.

I bought the Citrus fragrance. There two others as well. It smelled orangey and decent when I opened the package but it soon faded. It was only fresh smelling for a week or two and then I smelled nothing at all. Now, this is a natural product and does contain charcoal to absorb odors so it could have been doing so without a scent but I didn't feel the house smelled fresher after a couple weeks of using the Citrus Magic Solid...

I am the owner of three cats-- all with primarily white hair. I have tried everything to keep up with the constant pet hair "war" on my furniture, clothes and carpet. I purchased the sweeper and at first I was thrilled at how well it works!! I could get the hair off couch and bedspread with out draging out the vacuum (which really doesnt do the job anyways). But low and behold as it filled up I noticed that is was a throw-away!! I was disappointed that not only would I have to keep buying more-- but come on S.C. Johnson and Johnson, can't you be a little more earth friendly and less money hungry??? It would be simple to design the same thing maybe out of a sturdier plastic than would allow you to open and dump the hair a few times before the rollers wore out. Perhaps they will come out with one after they make a few bucks off the throw-away model. Overall the product works great - just not very earth friendly for this day and age....

However, low and behold as it filled up with more hair I noticed that is was a throw-away!! This was a big disappointed to me for two reasons:

1.) I would have to keep buying more-- three cats mind you.

2.) "Come on S.C. Johnson and Johnson, can't you be a little more earth friendly and less money hungry???

It would be real simple to design the same thing maybe out of a stronger and sturdier plastic that would allow you to open and dump the hair a few times before the rollers actually wore out.

Perhaps they will come out with one after they make a few bucks off the throw-away model....

I recently adopted an abandoned chinchilla, who i named Chin-chou. And he has one eye lol. I was helping my brother move when I came across him in the parking, which surprised me because chinchillas usually run 150 dollars or more.

So I brought Chin-chou home in a box, and then did some research on the internet on how to care for him. I spent quite a bit of money at pet-smart. Not only are chinchillas costly, but all the stuff you have to get for them is costly too! i had to get a big tall cage because they love to jump (usually at night, and it wakes me up constantly). I had to buy a heavy duty water bottle (glass) because he chews on ANYthing he can get ahold of. (he chewed up the first water bottle haha)

The cool thing about chinchillas is that they don't bathe. Not with water anyway. They take dust baths, which can get kinda messy.

The thing about chinchillas, is that they are like elephants. They never forget. Also they have big ears. Lol. You have to take time and patience...

I have a beautiful chocolate lab who I love and who loves me. She is a gentle girl but gets very upset when the vet tries to clip her nails. We have to muzzle her to keep her from biting him. I don't like to upset her like this so when I saw the Pedi Paws Pet Nail Trimmer, I thought it might be just the thing. First of all, the trimmer is very noisy which scared her and made her wary of it initially. I soothed her and she finally let me put her nail in it but the trimmer started and did not really do the job on her nails. I don't know if it was because hers are so thick or what but it did not trim them. It just bumped against them until finally she got agitated and would not let me continue.

Holy cow, If you want to spend way more than you have to then feel free and go to petco. Not only will you get treated like garbage bt you will also pay almost twice as much as you should for anything in the store. I am not affiliated with any franchise market however I feel the need to give you examples. For example, I have 2 cats and have been searching for the best deals on all their necessities. The food I give them is friskies signature blend.

friskies signature blend 16 DOLLARS AT PETCO and 10 DOLLARS AT TARGET and 13 dollars at shoprite.

The arma and hammer litter deodarizer 3.50 at Petco and 2.25 (or less) at shoprite.

Arm and Hammer Multicat Clumping litter (30 something pounds I think) 16 dollars at Petco and 9-11 Dollars at target

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This one thing pissed me off so much that I felt I had to write a review. I bought a litter genie at petco for 35 dollars. I saw it a couple weeks later out of nowhere at stop and shopfor 21 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took in a foster cat that had iffy litter habits. I did some research online and found Cat Attract litter. I tried it and it really did seem to improve her litter habits. After a year and a half I finally placed her into a permanent home and the new owner continues to use the product. When I cat sit, he has to bring it along for we have issues. This has allowed this cat to find a permanent home and without it she would probably still be in a foster home.

We tried other litter when the cat came back for 'cat sitting' however she used the floor next to the box and the bathmat. The owner ran over with some of the cat attract and the problem was solved. The owner actually tried to use a different type of litter by the same company and was rewarded with little 'presents' all over the house. I had to tell him not to mess with a good thing. We are lucky and have found the product now comes in a 40 lb. back for a much cheaper price.

I love my cat. His name is Honey. When I come home I yell,"Honey, I'm home!"

I bought him the fountain about 9 years ago (before it said "Drinkwell" on it). It has improved tremendously over the years. The wheel didn't used to be magnetic. The motor used to last a short time. The filters weren't creased in the middle and the coal inside used to all fall to the bottom of the filter. I perservered because Honey is fascinated with it. As a kitten, Honey loved to watch when the kitchen water faucet was on. That's what inspired me to buy the fountain. Since then, he drinks more water, plays with the bubbles after I add water, checks on it periodically, even if he doesn't drink! It fits back together better after cleaning than it used to. I feel guilty when 3 days pass and I haven't cleaned it yet, (that's the recommended time to clean), but when I clean it once a week, it still seems okay, although I know I should be more conscientous. I 've found that it's easier for him to drink...

The Ideal Pet Door with Telescoping Frame is a great product for small dogs and small cats. We have a 17 pound cat as well as a smaller one and got the Medium Size 7 by 11.25. This size works very well for both of them. The larger cat needed a little more opening to comfortably fit through. The small would have worked but with a timid cat it is better to give more space.They are constantly going in and out and we wanted them to be able to get into shelter when the weather was bad or when we were not at home. We installed this in a wall in our garage and built a frame for it rather than spending almost as much for the kit as we paid for the door. It worked out very well. It is pretty easy to install if you are handy because you do have to do some cutting whether it is in the wall or a door. The magnetic flap works great and closes well. Having the clear flap is perfect because my cats usually have to look out for a few minutes to make sure it is safe and I don't think they would use one......

With 7 cats and 2 dogs in the house at the moment, a flea issue can quickly spiral out of control into a major problem... which is exactly what has happened. Once the weather became officially wintry and cold, everyone started furiously scratching (despite being on Frontline). I quickly ordered a different brand of flea preventative and also 2 boxes of Capstar to try to get the problem under control as soon as possible.

Capstar is a flea-killing little tablet that promises that it will start killing adult fleas within 30 minutes of giving it to your cat or dog. It is safe to use in cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies that are at least 4 weeks old and weigh 2 pounds. That is very cool because most topical flea preventatives cannot be used on kittens and puppies until they are 8-12 weeks old. Capstar can be safely given to pets daily as long as there is a continuing flea issue.

As soon as the boxes of Capstar arrived on my doorstep, I started giving the pills to both the cats and dogs...

Goats are a special creature in themself. Goats come in all different sizes and colors and of course all different attitudes. I have two Goats myself. I have a nubein mix named shrek and a pygmi named trooper. Goats are great brush cleaners and i call them my automatic weed eaters.They will almost eat about anything. Goats love treats of all kinds, they get into cookies, bread even watermellon rinds. Goats are smart animals and can be taught to walk on a leash, come to comands. Goats do small tricks and even know there name well. In winter time you need to feed Goats more variety like hay and feed(dry feed) like goat feed and i mix horse and mule feed(sweet feed) with it. Goats don't drink alot of water but keeping clean fresh water is a very good idea. Goats are not alot of maintance but, one thing that is important is to check there hoofs and trin them if needed. Goats are to me, one of the most friendly animals and loveable as well.

I am the proud parent of two Chinchilla's, Baby Capichino(Capi) and Coffee Bean(Coffee) for short. When i say proud parent i mean this little animals just take over your heart and the more you put into them the more they put into you. A Chinchilla can live around 12 years and make a great friend, companion, pet which ever way you wish to call ilt. The Chinchilla main color is grey but, breading has got them into many different colors. They are a low maintnance pets but, they are exotics and are expensive to start out. They eat Chinchilla food, Timathy Hay and other dry foods. Chinchilla's do luv cheroo's and a ocassional raisin to snack on. They do not need alot of treats cause it will hurt there stomachs. Chinchillas love to run and play. They need time outside there cage for exercise. Chinchilla's need to keep in fresh water. They have the softess fur that is so thick and is like 5 strands of hair to one human hair. Chinchillas do not have flea problems but do need dust baths to...

I discovered Alley Cat brand cat food a few years ago. Since it was made by Purina, I knew it would be good for my cat. I once had a vet tell me he saw more intestinal problems related to high priced pet foods, and he recommended the simple nutritious ones, especially Purina. This cat food is not only priced low ( about like the store brand), but my cats love it as well. All the flavors seem to be equally liked by my pets. I have had several cats over the years, and all of them have taken to this food heartily. It is not always easy to find in the stores I shop at, and when I do find it, I stock up. I believe that this cat food is as nutritious for your cat as the higher priced foods such as Meow Mix or Cat Chow, and your cats will like the taste just as well. It makes me and my cats happy by providing an excellent value, and according to my cats, an excellent taste. I would recommend it to anyone who feeds their cats dry food.

I always fall for the gimicks. When I bought it I didnt know that you have to replace the inside cutting part which just looks like sandpaper. I have used this on my Beagle and she hates it, but it is easier in some ways to use this them the clippers. With clippers I am bad with clipping her Quick. The bad thing about this is that it takes forever to do one nail and odd to position it just right. This only has a small hole opening which I dont like because i also have 3 labrador dogs and their nails are much to large to fit in the small hole. There is a bad smell when you fiel down the nail. Also sometimes it skips.

My boyfriend and I purchased Petco catnip for our kitten awhile back. I have seen the affects of catnip on cats before and was all prepared to see it all again. We opened the container and let our kitten sniff it. She was kinda unsure at first but the more she sniffed it the more she was enjoying it. She would begin rubbing against the container and then would paw out some all over the carpet. She would then begin rolling around in it and soon she was speeding through the house like a race car driver. But the affects of it doesn't last very long. After about 15 minutes we find her crashed out on the back of the couch. But it is great exercise while she is running around. Petco Catnip is something you should use when you want your cat to get some exercise and just need to be active. It doesn't seem to have any side effects so I dont see a problem using it as often as you would like. And it is not very expensive for the container of catnip. It can also be used to put in thier toys and spread...

My 3 year old daughter wanted a pet, at first I didn't know what to get her but than I did some research online because I heard that a guinea pig is a great pet for especially younger kids/toddler. I found one at a pet store and bought it for her, it's been a week now since we have this guinea pig and it's great. She loves it, she keeps telling me thank you mommy and really like my new pet. She named it Winnie, lol. The guinea pig is easy to clean after because they usally pee and poop in the same area, easy to brush their furs, they are a pretty quite, most importantly they don't bit unless provoked. Guinea pigs will be happy as long as you feed them and they'll eat anything almost anything. They love romaine lettece and carrots but they basically will eat any vegetables and fruits. Mine loves carrots, romaine lettecs, and bananas. Guinea pigs doesn't cost much and it also doesn't cost much to take care of it either. Just have to change their beddings once a week or every two weeks and...

My dog is a pit-bull mix and if very picky about what she eats.We have tried pedigree,iams,alpo,kibblenbit and pretty much every dog food on the market.Joe like beneful though.She eats it up everytime you put it in her bowl even over pedigree and iams.It is all natural and has vegetables and meat in it for a balanced diet.

Joe is very picky so if you have a finicky eater try beneful.Your dog will most likely like it and you wont have to buy ten different kinds of dog food and them go to waste.There is a variety of flavors you can choose for your puppy to.So go choose your dogs favorite flavor and watch him/her smile with content because they will love beneful.

I hope this review helped you out in your discission on what kind of dog food to buy for your pets.It is the only kind i buy now because its a brand I trust and would highly recommend to any pet owner.Thanks for reading and have a safe new year.
