Mice, when they are live, are important for my snake. I do not believe my snake would eat a dead mouse. You have to watch them, though, in case they bite the snake. It usually won't harm the snake much, but it doesn't hurt to watch. White mice seem to be better, perhaps because my snake is albino....

janet261982 says "Bearded dragons are great" about bearded dragon lizard

I own a bearded dragon, and have for a while. They are neat lizards. They are the type of lizard you can hold, hand feed, and they don't take much to take care of them. I would recommend them for anyone. The are friendly, and as with any animal, they have their own personallity. They might scratch you from time to time, but other than that you don't have to worry about them biting you. They only bad ting about them is their feces stink. You will know when they go because it will stink up the whole room in a matter of...

ao2driscoll says "Super" about Snakes Ball Python

The Ball python happens to be named the easiest pet to own but I do not agree with this at all! They either die very soon after purchase or become aggressive after they age slightly. You could buy one that is so many generations hand fed and doscile butin the end it doesn't help the snake's...

leithdragon says "Best possible lizard to own!" about Breed Bearded Dragon

Bearded Dragons are the best possible lizard to own. They have a very steady personality, are very easygoing, the only time they are touchy is when they are shedding their skin. They are very easy to care for, a heat lamp, a sandy bottom in their tank, something to climb on & something to lay under the lamp on & some food, clean the tank about once a month. Of course if you live in a cold climate where you loose electricity often in the winter you do need an alternate way to keep them warm. Males & females can be kept together, 1 each in a tank, or 2 females, but never do 2 males together-they are territorial. The best part is the food-they eat fruit, veggies & insects. Over the summer I kept ours supplied with crickets & beetles from the garden. He was a very happy lizard. They are also intelligent in that he picked up on the differences in the way I opened the tank as to whether it was live food, plant matter or to clean or to pick him...

CrystaBush says "The only food our picky turtle, Puck, will eat!" about Tetra Reptomin Floating food sticks

Tetra ReptoMin Floating Food Sticks — for — Turtles — Ok, by now if you have been reading my other reviews, you are probably wondering how many animals that I have! Keep on reading...you'll figure it out. — What is it? — Tetra Reptomin Floating Food Sticks is turtle food. My son's turtle, affectionately named PUCK (we're hockey fans, people), will only eat this brand of food. — I'm not sure why Puck is so picky, but he is. — Puck is 5 years old and throughout those 5 years, I have tried different brands of turtle food. He won't eat them. He also won't eat the feeder fish that we bought him because the pet store guy says when he gets big, he'll want fish. Maybe Puck's a vegetarian? — So, we stick with ReptoMin Floating Food Sticks by Tetra. Puck likes them and we like Puck. I swear he is the cutest turtle you have ever seen! — We have found them in all the pet stores and even at...

Hisba says "Great product at reasonable prices" about Big Cheese Rodents Rodent Feeders

I've been buying my frozen feeders from Big Cheese Rodents for over 5 years now. They always deliver quickly, communcate well and advise if anything is not in stock. They have some of the best prices I've found online for the quality of the product. The rodents always come vaccum sealed and with dry ice, still frozen even when in transit for more than a day. Quality is top notch, my reptiles have never refused a Big Cheese rat or mouse. Shipping is getting more expensive (about $50/shipment) as it is with all suppliers, but for the savings in cost, it's cheaper than the pet store by far. I will continue to shop with Big...
