disappointend says "Bought it before, but last bag made my cat VERY SICK, VERY FAST" about Kirkland Signature Super Premium Maintenance Cat Formula

Since I only have one cat and wouldn't want to feed her the same thing for so long, I usually alternate buying this brand with Purina. Last week it was Kirkland's Maintenance Cat's turn...well my cat started pooping liquid within the next few hours, kept eating (and pooping liquid) for another day, then she refused to eat it, and started walking around the house looking really sad.

So I went and bought her Purina right away, and she's been sleeping and recovering, yesterday caught a lizzard, back to her old self.

I don't know if it's my cat not tolerating some ingredient (although she's had the same brand before) or just a bad product lot, but I will refrain from buying this brand again.

sereni9547 says "Our new puppy loves this and is easy for him to chew." about Kibbles & Bits kibbles & bits dog food

We adopted our new puppy about four months ago from the local animal shelter and this is our families first dog. Being new at the dog experience we had no clue what kind of food to buy for a puppy ( and one who was eating what ever was put in front of him at the shelter that was donated) A freind of ours told us about Kibbles and BIts and we tried it. Our dog loves this. the food peices are the perfect size. He seems to really enjoy the flavor of the food. When we go to feed him he stands right at the food storage area waiting. We want to give our Gunner the best and KIbbles and Bits seems to be it for our dog. He is satisified and his coat and teeth always look health. We have tried a couple of other products but they upset his stomach and he had to go out all the time and made his stool loose. After using Kibbles and Bits we will never use anything else for our Gunner and would recommend this product to anyone who has a puppy or dog.
...

I have one cat, and her litter box is in the downstairs bathroom. Which is off my kitchen, you would never know we have a cat. Because it controls the ammonia odor very well. It cllumps up very well, and it is not dusty. Which is a problem when your cleaning and refreshing the litter box. We have tried all different types of cat litter, and this has been the one we found to be the best for our cat. She is picky about her litter too. The price is in the middle range, and sometimes its on special at our grocery stores.
...

bobbomom says "These dogs are known as the Gentle Giants" about English Mastiff Breed of Dog

We did a lot of research on the English Mastiff before we purchased our first dog. They are a very old and established breed. They are large in size and heart. If you look in the Guiness Book of World Records, there is usually an English Masiff as the largest dog. I have owned 6 at this point! The largest got up to around 280 lbs. and the smallest is around 140 lbs. Because of the dog's size, they are not for everyone. They are the cutest puppies and people have been known to fall in love with them only to want to give them up when they get full grown.

The mastiff is very loving and protective, they want to be by your side at all times. They will sleep in the bed with you if you let them; however, be aware they snore! I have found them to be great with children and other animals. Because of their protective nature they need to be socialized. I had one male that due to two moves in a year became aggresive and could only be around people that he had already established a relationship with....
...

Hello, to start this off I want to tell you how much that I really like Scoopaway Cat litter for multiple cats. I have four cats. Starr, Lucky, Diamond, and Demon ( he's missing right now, hope he's okay). It was quite hard to find the right cat litter for them. I tried a bunch of different cat litter's, and came across Scoopaway Cat litter for multiple cats and tried it. It works so good! The litter has a pleasent aroma, that frangrances the whole house. It's a fresh scent, not a amonia scent. Also, like the fact that I don't have to change the litter everyday, because of the smell. Also like the way the urin clumps together and does not turn to clay like some other litters that I have tried. You really do have to try a bunch of different ones to find the one that does the trick, for you and your cat's. I have also found that Scoopaway Cat litter for multiple cats is one of the cheaper brands, and for my family of cat's, it really does work. People come over...
...

lanak says "Beta fish is one of the most beautiful fishes!" about PetSmart Beta Fish

Hello! I am a long-time fish lover! I had plenty of fish: guppies, tetras, gouramis, cory cats, plecos and some others. Betas are my favorite fish so far! For a long time I did not want to get betas, as I thought that having one fish in the tank would be boring, and besides PetSmart sells this fish in a very small bowls (a glass-size), and they keep them on the shelf, with a little light, so it is just impossible to see all the beauty of this fish. That is why I never paid any attention to betas, unless I actually saw beta fish while visting my friend, who owns two betas. I was stunned! I got myself two male betas and they live in two seprate bowls. Having betas is so enjoyable! Each male beta has to live in a separate bowl, and because this fish is so colorful it looks great being alone! Please do not put two (or more) male betas in one tank! They will fight until one of them survives. Taking care of betas is very easy, so this is a great fish for beginners! Though not all PetSmart employees...
...

What better creature did God, make to love us, than a Cat? They're soft, cuddly, pretty laid back, not much noise from them, and a lot of unconditional love. It seems that people have the habit of "dropping" off cats at our driveway, because in 5 years, we've accumulated 19 cats! We've made a habit of making sure they were all taken care of and spaded when old enough to do so..thank God for Bob Barker! Anyway, I have nine that stay in the house and on Sunday, all I have to do is rattle the plates, they each have their own, and they know it's treat time. And what better treat than Friskies canned cat food. I take three different kinds and divide it among the cats and they absolutely love it! All the plates are licked clean. I have tried other brands, but the Friskies goes over best. If I make the mistake of leaving the can on the counter, at least one of them will try to lick the cans clean. I am a very happy customer of Friskies and we buy it by bulk at Costco or at my grocer when he...
...

snj6967 says "Pounce is an occassional must have treat for most cats." about Pounce Moist Tuna Flavored Treats

I usually but the chicken flavored Pounce because that's usually the only flavor that the store I buy from has in stock.
My cats love these treats so much that they almost litterally fight over who's going to get the first treat of the day. All I have to do is shake the container and no matter what room they are in or what they are doing. {including sleeping} they come running for their special treat.
Although, these treats are not the healthiest treats you can give to your family member. They deserve to be spoiled once in awhile as well just like any child would. A special treat 1 or 2 times a week in most cases is usually not a big problem. Remember everything in moderation. And, believe me most cats will love you for them. Although, there are a few cats out there that don't like them at all. So, I guess cats are more like humans in that respect. Don't we all have things that we just don't like or won't eat? So, do they!!
            I do highly recommend Pounce......

Like all cat lovers, I have cat toys. Or at least, I THOUGHT I had cat toys!

This simple little gadget beats them all. We have a kitten, "Tuffy" and an older girl, "Juliette". The kitten, of course, is interested in EVERYTHING. The older girl was formerly content to sit in a warm corner and watch the world go by until she saw the Catdancer Cat Charmer. It lives up to it's name. It has completely charmed Juliette.

She is back to stalking and attacking on the run whenever the Cat Charmer is brought out. Tuffy can be playing with it and Juliette will ambush him and the toy. That of course initiates an interaction between the two of them. The Cat Charmer has totally brought back to life this one-time lazy girl. lol Tuffy, the kitten enjoys it very much too. He is inclined to try to "steal" the Cat Charmer and take it to his own hideout. Between Juliette and Tuffy loving the Cat Charmer, I get tuckered out. LOL
...

One of the most important cat care items that I am concerned about is hairball treatment. I used to use the type in a tube & even though it claimed to be a treat to the cat, it was always a battle for me to get the cat to take the treatment. Well those days are behind me since I have found Temptations Hairball treats. My cat loves them. He is eager to enjoy his portion of these healthy snacks daily. Because my cat has long hair, keeping the problem of hairballs at bay are a priority for me & my cat. Only ten treats a day, & I don't hear him coughing and I don't find those disgusting wads of cold hair on the floor. I have been a cat owner & lover most of my life & I am very pleased and satisfied with Temptations Hairball treats for cats. I just pick up the package of Temptations Hairball Treats & my cat comes right over to me, he knows he is about to get his favorite & good for him daily treat. These treats are a part of our daily routine.
...

ConsumerKitty says "Da Bird will get your feline couch potato to run, jump and play!" about Go-cats Da Bird

I have bought so many different kinds of interactive cat toys and my cats usually just stare at me as I wave them around. When I bought a Da Bird for them I thought I'd get the same reaction. Boy was I surprised! All 3 of them couldn't wait to catch "the birdie". Christopher Cody, the biggest couch potato of the bunch, was actually jumping up in the air. I've never seen him do that before.

My cats are indoor only so it's nice to have a way to get them to exercise. The only down side to Da Bird is that they quickly chew up the feather and I have to buy a replacement. However, being able to get them to play is well worth it. It's so much fun watching my grown up cats acting like kittens again!...

I have four siberian husky dogs that are all about two years old. When they were puppies I kept them on one type of food only, however since they are more mature now I switch up their food every once in a while. The main reason I switch it up is to keep them from getting bored with their food. I noticed after a while they weren't finishing their whole bowl of food and decided to try something different and they ate up all the new stuff. With that being said I've tried out all kinds of different foods, and I will say they do love Beneful. They always eat everything I give them when I am on a Beneful cycle. The biggest draw back is that it really smells. By this I mean the food itself when you open the bag has a really strong odor. Like I said I've used all kinds of other brands, and Beneful is by far the worst smelling. However its only a few seconds that I have to endure the smell and its worth it since my dogs love it. The price is not so great that its the only one...
...

I love going to dog shelters or any kind of animal shelter. That is usually where you get the best kinds of animals. They only keep animals that they know are going to be good for any type of family. I have had a lot of dogs that I have gotten from shelters and they are just really awesome dogs. They have always been clean and their fur and everything else has always been really kept up. The have been wonderful animals that have all loved children and they have all loved other animals. They are usually kept up on their shots, and some of them have even been spayed and neutered. They have a lot of different kind of breeds. They have had pitbulls, labs, golden retrievers, you name it they have had it. They also have any where from small to big breeds. Puppies to full grown adult dogs. They just all have a wonderful variety and plenty to choose from. Not all shelters are bad but then again not all shelters are good. It just really depends on where you go.
...

I've never met a dog that didn't love dingo products. My rescued shih tzu goes crazy when he hears the crinkle of the plastic bag coming out of the cupboard. There's something about that red "meat" filling that dogs really love. These small bones are perfect for little dogs. It takes my dog about 2 hours to chew one apart. I'd only reccommend this size for small dogs though, because my parent's pit bull mix got ahold of one and finished it in about 3.5 seconds. I typically purchase them at the grocery store (A&P) because for some reason they are actually cheaper there (maybe they don't sell them as quickly as they'd like?). My parents buy the bigger bones for their dog and he also loves them. They are a little pricey, but competitively priced with other similar rawhide treats. I've seen them sold online, so might consider buying them from amazon or another retailer if I can find a decent price in bulk. Overall an A+ product.
...

My rescued shih tzu absolutely loves all Dingo products and goof balls are no exception. We typically purchase him the mini bones, but when my mother picked these up for him we figured we'd give them a try. He especially likes them because they are small and he can chew them up and get to the "good stuff" in the middle pretty quickly. My only complaint is that he can chew them up twice as fast as the small bone dingos (that means we have to purchase more to get through the week). Dingos are moderately priced, as far as dog chews go. I typically purchase them at our local A&P because for some reason they have the best prices? Highly reccommended for a small dog!
...

HE IS EXTEMELY LONG HAIRED AND SHEDS. HE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THESE AWFUL HAIRBALLS. BY HIM HAVING SUCH LONG HAIR, WHEN HE BATHES HIS SELF HE ENDS UP DIGESTING HAIR. DUE TO THE ECOMONY AND THE PICKYNESS OF BOTH CATS, IT HAS BEEN HARD TO FIND A HAIRBALL CONTROL FOOD THAT I COULD AFFORD AND THEY WOULD EAT.SO I FINALLY TRIED THIS MEOW MIX HAIRBALL CONTROL AND THEY BOTH LOVE IT! SINCE USING THIS MESSA HASN'T CHOCKED UP ON A HAIRBALL YET. YOU CAN GET A THIRTY POUND BAG FOR AROUND $11.00.YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT!!!! I KNOW MOST VETERNIANS RECOMMEND THOSE EXPENSIVE CAT FOODS. FOODS LIKE SCIENCE DIET, EUKANUBA, AND OTHER "PRESCRIPTION CAT FOODS", BUT WHO CAN AFFORD $50.00 FOR THIRTY POUNDS OF CAT FOOD?! AND TO TELL THE TRUTH I DID TRY SOME ONE TIME, AND NEITHER CAT WOULD EAT IT. BLESSED IS THE NAME OF MY FOUR YEAR OLD CAT AND SHE WENT FOR 3 DAYS WITHOUT...
...

cinderky says "Purina One Lamb and Rice Dog Food is the best!" about Purina Purina One Adult Dog Lamb & Rice Formula

Purina One Lamb and Rice dog food is the food I consistently use for my dogs.

My older dog has always ahd a very sensitive digestive system and this product has consistently worked for her. She is now going on 14 and still favors this food over all others.

When our Vet determined her sensitive stomsch he recommended lamb and rice formaula food for her. We tried several brands, and some wet canned food as well.

Purina One dry food has always worked for her.

This food also is generally priced very competitively in comparison to other dry dog foods. Purina also has coupons available from time to time, or in-store specials at locations like PetSmart which help reduce the cost.

The only thing I wish were in this food that Purina does not address is glucosamine.

When your pet s age, the joint health is affected, especially in large dogs hips.

Glucosamine really works to help joint health, and I have to provide this separtely for my dogs.

Overall, the product is consistent, appears...
...

DENNY56 says "Scoop away the mess with Tidy Cats scoopable litter" about Tidy Cats Tidy Cats Scoopable Cat Litter

We used to have a real bad urine smell odor in our laundry room and tryed all kinds of kitty litters but none seemed to work. One day my wife brought home Tidy cats Scoopable cat litter and it worked like magic. My kids used to fight me about not wanting to clean the litter box because of the smell, but since we use Tidy Cat scoopable litter they don't seem to mind at all. My wife used to complain all the time about company coming over and smelling the litter box but since we now use Tidy Cat she has company over all the time. This kitty litter is so easy to use and really soaks up the smell of the cat urine and clumps up really good and scoops the entire box in no time without the worry of the box still having a discussing smell to it. Annie my cat loves it and seems alot happy since we changed to tidy cat . I would recommend this cat litter to anyone who has that strong urine smell in their litter box. It does what it says and even more. This is one product we cannot live without in...
...

DENNY56 says "Annie Loves her Purina Whisker Lickin's Crunch Treats" about Purina Whisker Lickin's Crunch Lovers

I own a very fenakie cat name Annie. This can will not eat cat food at all no matter what i have tryed to feed her she loves canned tuna. One day i was in the store and i saw Purina Whisker Lickin's crunch lovers and figure what the heck. I got her a bag of them and called her expecting her to curl her nose up as usual, but boy was i wrong. She went to town on the few i layed on the table and in no time she was begging for more. I can't believe the way she went after these treats. Her teeth seem to be alot whiter now and everytime i pass the table where she loves to sit she reaches out and swipes my arm and followis me into the kitchen and meaows until i get into the cubbard and get her down her Whisker Lickin to enjoy. I don't know if its just me or not but she seems to have alot more enery since she has started eatting these snacks. I would recommend whisker lickins for cat owners and just watch how you cat reacts to these treats. It is unbelieveable.
...
