hofertennis says "Great quality at a reasonable price" about Dunlop & Slazenger 300G

The picture here shows a Dunlop Aerogel 3 Hundred. The Dunlop 300G was a much older version of this racquet. Slazenger does not make a 300G or Aerogel 3 Hundred. However, Dunlop and Slazenger are sister companies. I would not buy this product unless I knew exactly what it was I was buying. If it is indeed the Dunlop Aerogel 3 Hundred then it is a great racquet for advanced and intermediate players. It has a 98 square inch head size and a head light balance. This racquet has a great feel and balance to it. The Aerogel 3 Hundred has good power but is more of a control racquet.
...

Dunlop's introduction of the "new" 200G will please the player racquet purists who demand heft and control. Unfortunately, most players can't wield a racquet like the 200G and enjoy the same success as they would with a slightly lighter racquet. Enter the 300G - the 200G for the rest of us. In a way, the 300G is a replacement for the lesser known Muscle Weave 200G 100, which was discontinued. While the 300G has many elements of the Muscle Weave 200G 100 the 300G has a more open string pattern and is a 27 inch standard length racquet. The 300G falls into the growing niche of 'tweener/player" racquets. It's too light to be considered a pure player's racquet and it's not powerful enough to be a 'tweener racquet.
...

hofertennis says "control racquet for advanced players" about Wilson Wilson Tennis K Six-One Tour 90 w/o Cover

This is a 90 square in head, which is one of the industries smallest. You must be a good tennis player to hit the sweet spot with this frame. The small head size does give you much more control. The K factor six.one is still one of the most popular racquets in the collegiate and professional ranks. It is also one of the heaviest racquets. If you're small or elderly or just not very strong you won't like this racquet. You need some strength to use this racquet for any length of time. The power in this racquet doesn't come from the contruction and materials it's made from but from the player using it. You must have a big swing length if you want some power from this frame. It also have some Kevlar material in the contruction which adds to a solid feel on contact and good frame vibration dampening properties. This racquet is designed for the more advanced tennis players who needs the most control and less power....

It is good if you under the age of 8 mainly because it is Wilson. It is also good because the spongebob character on the racket is enjoyable for kids under the age of 8. I wouldn't really recommend this to anybody mainly because I could use the money for something better.
...

The Wilson Spongebob 19-in Youth Tennis Raquet, made by Wilson, is great for small children and features a cartoon character that children love, Spongebob. I would reccomend it to toddlers- kindergarders, but after that, it's best to just buy a bigger one....

My kids are taking tennis this year, but with only one hour 2 times a week and like 15 kids per instructor to be honest they are not learning all that much in the class. So I decided that after they had class time with the class then I would play with them and help teach them for a half hour or an hour depending how tired they are and how hot it is. Of course since they are new at playing tennis they tend to hit a lot of balls all over the place. I know that when you play with beginers you either need to have a lot of balls or spend the entire playing time chasing down balls that were mis hit. I opted for having a lot of balls.

While we were shopping for a new racket for my daugher I happened to see the Gamma Hoppette Ball Hopper Value Pack - which included 18 balls. At the price of $29.99 I thought it would be well worth it for me to purchase.

For thos of you who do not know what a ball hopper is, it is basically a little portable cage for balls. You will usually see some kind...
...

tennismom58 says "okay for a beginning player but won't "grow" with child" about Wilson SpongeBob 19-in Youth Tennis Racquet

This is a great, inexpensive racquet for a child who has indicated an interest in learning tennis. Unfortunately, as your child grows and becomes more adept at the sport, this racquet will quickly need to be replaced by something that can be stung at a tighter tension. Perfect for the 4-6 yo group but I would suggest spending a little more money and purchasing a racquet that your child can become attached to and keep for a few years....

"Mother," my daughter says a few days after Christmas, "would you like to know what your grandson is doing with the tennis racquet?"
I cringe. I have a feeling I'm in trouble again.

"He's running around the house with it and swatting everything in sight; his breakfast bowl, my candles, his stuffed toys...even his dad's head!"

I smile. I knew that he would have a lot of fun, even though he'll drive his parents crazy all winter. It sounds like the SpongeBob Squarepants Tennis Racquet is a big hit with my almost-3-year-old bundle of energy.

Like most toddler boys, my grandson is a fan of any game that involves a ball.

He is mesmerized by baseball, thrilled by basketball, in awe of hockey, and excited by tennis. Actually, I am the one who introduced him to tennis. Not on a tennis court, but by turning on the television to watch Venus Williams play a match. Ever since then, he's been a fan. He never roots for any one player; he lets out a whoop and a cheer no matter who makes...
...

The Wilson N-code 4 racket is a good frame but they are no longer made and you can pick them up online at www.TennisShop.net on close out for about $80. The new K-line racket is better balanced and has more feel and pop on the ball. Also the Babolat line is even better and the top in the industry right now. If you like the N-Code 4 I would suggest trying the Babolat Pure drive or the Z-drive oversize....

LibbyMcMillan says "Lightweight, but powerful" about Wilson nCode n4 racquet

ARE YOU A FORMER SLEDGE HAMMER USER?
I demo'd a jillion racquets, trying to replace my antiquated but beloved Sledge Hammer racquets.

FIRST DATE
It wasn't until a vacation to Albuquerque that a pro put Wilson's nCode n4 in my hands. I struggled to hit at first, between altitude (couldn't breathe after running) and a new racquet. But after a few minutes, the racquet started feeling great.

WORKS GREAT FOR ME
I bought it that day, and had it strung and shipped to Florida. From the first day it arrived, I was happy, despite having worried about a purchase that was only tested at 5,000 feet, for use at sea level. But I had a winning season with the racquet and am really enjoying it.

PRICE
I think the price was average for a decent racquet - between $100 and $200; can't honestly remember what I paid. But as many hours as I play, I could justify several hundred dollars for a racquet. This one was quite reasonable.

The bottom line: Libby Loves It!
...
