I really like these clubs. I have used the MP 29's for over 8 years now, so I have always been a Mizuno fan. My buddy bought these a few weeks back and I hit them at the range one day. Very nice club, that seems to be a little more forgiving then my 29's. I didn't really notice a big difference in distance, except on the...

Demarini Vexxum 32 inch -3 Baseball Bat — What is it? — The DeMarini Vexxum 32 inch 29 oz Long Barrel is a baseball bat used by high school aged players, even though it's called an adult bat. The composite handle is carbon reinforced and the new Clutch Knob helps to reduce vibration. — The Demarini Vexxum costs $160.00 and can be purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods and other sporting good stores, as well as online. — My Son's Viewpoint! — He loves the bat because of the name, for one. He's a DeMarini Baseball Bat fan. He will only use DeMarini baseball bats. This is his favorite baseball bat that he has owned because of the long barrel, it gives him a bigger and better hitting spot. Since he's gotten the DeMarini Vexxum, his batting average has went up and his balls are popping off the bat going the long distance. — Mom's Viewpoint! — $160.00 for a baseball bat? Are you kidding me? I...

OldHippie says "Like Pedaling A Tank" about Huffy 26in Mens Stone Mountain Bike

A few years ago my "Made in the USA" Huffy got stolen. (sigh) Not knowing any better at the time, I went to K-Mart & bought this one to replace it. What a mistake! — #1) It has a very uncomfortable seat which was soon replaced. #2) It has a steel frame vs. aluminum frame. (much heavier) #3) It wouldn't shift properly from day one. K-Mart couldn't and/or wouldn't do a thing. So I went on-line to the Huffy web site and looked up how to adjust it myself. #4) Going uphill was nearly impossible. Even the slightest hill would mean LOW GEAR. — Do yourself a favor and invest the extra bucks into one with an aluminum frame, a comfortable seat, and the gears to handle hills. Don't waste your money on this one. —...

My kids are taking tennis this year, but with only one hour 2 times a week and like 15 kids per instructor to be honest they are not learning all that much in the class. So I decided that after they had class time with the class then I would play with them and help teach them for a half hour or an hour depending how tired they are and how hot it is. Of course since they are new at playing tennis they tend to hit a lot of balls all over the place. I know that when you play with beginers you either need to have a lot of balls or spend the entire playing time chasing down balls that were mis hit. I opted for having a lot of balls. — While we were shopping for a new racket for my daugher I happened to see the Gamma Hoppette Ball Hopper Value Pack - which included 18 balls. At the price of $29.99 I thought it would be well worth it for me to purchase. — For thos of you who do not know what a ball hopper is, it is basically a little portable cage...

JovialCougar says "Lubricating your bike chain makes peddaling easier" about Finish Line Dry Teflon Lube Chain Lubricant

I know a lot of people who don't maintain their bicycles in any way. As long as the tires aren't flat they just hop on and go for a ride. While that works for a while, eventually the parts will grind to a halt. If you are resistant to working on your bike, one of the easiest things you can still do that will make a difference is lubricating the chain. How hard can it be? — Lubricating the chain will make it easier to pedal, since there will be less resistance amongst the moving parts. Also, lubricating the chain will extend the life of the chain. Otherwise, grit and dust gradually accumulate and grind away at the mechanisms. Some day the unmaintained chain will snap, and then you will be stuck. — Finish Line makes a variety of chain lubricating products that are very helpful in keeping a bicycle chain operating, and I use Finish Line Dry Teflon Lube. The so called ''dry'' lubes are best for bicycling in dry conditions, like on pavement. — Dry lubes apply as a...

From early Spring to late Fall, there's always one lure I use to "find" Mr.(or Miss) Bass...a Rattlin' Rap. It comes in many sizes from 3/16 oz. (1-1/2" long) to 3/4 oz. (3-1/8"long). It also comes in a variety of colors. My two favorites would be the Sliver Blue & Firetiger. The Silver Blue on bright, sunny days; the Firetiger on cloudy days or in murky, stained water. Use this lure to find the first Bass of the day, then slow down with a plastic worm or other slow baits. Sometimes you get lucky and find a "grassy flat" that Bass are holding in. That's an area with submerged vegetation 2 to 4 feet below the surface of the water. Just keep casting that Rattlin' Rap until they quit biting it. Sometimes the Bass like it on a steady fast retreve...sometimes rip it a few turns then pause it for just a split second. I give this lure a rare 5 stars for three reasons. #1) I always catch...

OldHippie says "Slick Stuff" about Quantum Hot Sauce

I always thought reel oil was reel oil...nothing special. I had always used Abu-Garcia products because I owned Abu-Garcia reels. On my last trip to Cabela's I wanted to pick up some reel oil. All they had was Quantum Hot Sauce reel oil. When I was about to complain, the sales person stated that's all they carry because it blows away the competition. And he was right. — What I like about it best is the applicator. A pinpoint dispenser that allows precise applications. (One drop is enough usually.) Also, it's RED, so you can see it better. According to Quantum, this stuff forms a molecularly bond with the metal. Quantum claims a 30% increase in casting difference on bait-cast reels. I wouldn't go quite that far, but I did notice a better performing reel on a LONG day of fishing. How long? Let's just say I won't be needing a tanning salon. — ...

I purchased the No-Mor Flats Inner Tube by BELL last week at Wal-mart. I have been using it now for most of that time. When I first put it inside of my tire it seemed hard and difficult. I read the directions again, and I saw that it had to be watered down first. I actually just put it in my tire without the water.

If you are looking for an introductory kayak that will let you enjoy some paddling and won't cost a ton of money, you should take a look at Old Town Canoe's Otter Kayak. The reasonably priced boat gives you plenty of features in a small and easily manageable size that should give you a good first taste of kayaking. — The Otter is 9 ½ feet long, about 28 ½ inches (a little over 2 feet) wide, about a foot in height, the cockpit opening is 19 inches by 38 inches and it weighs about 39 pounds. This makes it one of the smaller recreational kayaks out there. Even though it's on the small side, the Otter can generally accommodate most paddlers. The cockpit is slightly oversized when compared to other similar boats and the length and width of the boat is more than enough for all but the tallest of paddlers. — While the boat is rated to hold up to 225 pounds, I've found you can go up to at least 250 pounds of weight without affecting the performance of...

I've only had these for three days, but I am totally sold - and so is my husband, who has all kinds of foot complaints. I wore them for about 10 minutes three times the first day, a little longer the second, and now I wish I had more sitting time in the day so I could wear them longer. I can feel the bones shifting - it's like chiropractics for the feet. I love walking around right after I take them off too - hope that feeling keeps lasting longer and longer. — — I got them to correct my big toes that bend inward and I can't tell if that will happen yet - but all my toes are just loving the daily stretching. — — Great product. —...
