Everybody emphasizes how quiet the Q37e is, but if you don't clean its wheels very diligently, it'll rapidly become annoyingly noisy. If you're a big-time sweater like me, you want to clean it after every use. Also wear a T-shirt while you exercise, to soak up your sweat and thereby reduce the amount that gets onto the tracks. If you get back pain or knee pain, an elliptical is def the way to go.  I've been a ProForm user for 5 years now and wouldn't buy any other brand.  These are professional machines at home prices.  The only caveat I have is that if you're not handy, spring for the in-home installation or put on something slinky and entice your neighbor to assemble... One of the down falls of this machine is that it can be noisy and after long periods of time my feet fall asleep.
