The Bigelow Top Load Day Pack from LL Bean has to be, at least for me, the best day pack that I've ever had. That's coming from someone who has gone through a lot of day packs over the years. — It's well made, it fits incredibly well, it's comfortable, it's easy to pack and it's all backed up by LL Bean's lifetime warranty. It is pretty much everything you'd want in a day pack. — The pack itself features about 2,000 cubic inches of storage space along with a number of different pockets and pouches for your gear. Two of the handiest pouches are the mesh ones on either side of the bottom of the pack. This lets you slip in your water bottles where they are easily accessible. There's even a small compartment on the bottom of the pack that holds a rain fly to cover it with should the weather conditions turn nasty while you are hiking. All of this comes in a package that weighs in at just under 4 pounds. — Every strap that rests against...

RadicalProf says "The best backpack ever!" about Marmot garmsal

I used this bag to packpack across Europe for 3 weeks. It was absolutely amazing. It as just big enough to fit everything and just small anough to fit in plane's overhead compartments so that I could carry it on and not risk being luggageless. The trip was during the summer and even in hot places, the design of the mesh back allowed for airflow and an unsweaty back. I am five feet tall and abotu 115 pounds and, even though it wasnt a female-specific pack, it fit the countours of my body very well. A number of inside pockets allow for safekeeping and the outside mesh pockets, top pockets and pockets on the wasitband allow for plenty of room to store necessities for quick access. Since this trip, I have taken this bag everywhere - camping, hiking, business trips, you name it. It is literally my favorite pack I have ever owned....

vytas says "Comfortable, capacious and well armored" about Spire Fuse

If you're a commuter who moves on public transit and uses foot power to move in urban or natural environments, you'll appreciate the thoughfully designed Spire Fuse backpack. Especially if carrying a laptop around is part of your daily commute. — — The Spire Fuse is a comfortable backpack that includes a removable “boot” (a special padded snug sleeve for your laptop). I have to say that I have yet to worry about the safety of my laptop (currently an Apple Macbook Pro) - I also used it with a Dell Lattitude 610) since I started using the Spire Fuse. The one thing to note here is that you make sure you get the correctly sized boot whan you order the Spire Fuse. — — The shoulder straps are padded and include a sternum strap. I find the sternum strap keeps the backpack snug on your back and relieves any back pull on the shoulder straps thereby distributing the weight evenly on your upper body. The rear of the Spire Fuse is also padded ensuring that...
