I was worried about my blood glucose level, especially in winter not able to go to gym. That time I went to my friends house and saw this weslo pursuit 2.8 upright exercise cycle. He recommended this product to me and i did my research in the internet.I was very much satisfied by this weslo exercise cycle and bought it. It was easy to assemble. Now my mind is relaxed and able to burn calories daily at home itself. I can watch TV and do my gym at home with the help of Weslo cycle. It is really a very good choice for everyone who has diabetes and must exercise daily. We need not bundle ourself in the cold weather to go to the gym. People who are health conscious can also try this product. It has a adjustable seat which helps both me and my husband to do on the same machine. The convenient , built-in heart rate monitor will accurately display your heart rate to keep you in your target zone.It has a adjustable resistance. If you want to burn more calories we can increase the intensity....
...

I have used this elliptical machine about 4 times a week for about 45 minutes a day. It is great as I watch my DVD and forget I am excercising until the last 15 minutes. You can lean back more, go slower to work the resistance. It counts calories and time as well. I used it and over 6 months lost 45 pounds and losing more now. You can fold it flat and put it away in a close if you want. You do not slip as there are ridges on the pedals. I would recommend it to anyone and the cost was reasonable as well. It works your arms, abdomen and legs as well. I feel over all toned and healthy using this machine. My teens have used it as well and toned down having fun doing it. It is durable as we have moved twice since buying it and nothing has happened to it. Even a first time exerciser could use and just start out slow and work your way up. I have recommended this to many friends who have bought it as well. Exercise, have fun watching TV or listen to an MP3 and before...
...

ML2007 says "Charmin To Go roll is a must" about Proctor & Gamble Company Charmin To Go

The Charmin Basic To Go roll of toilet paper is a must have for travelers or non travelers as well. I say this because even at nice fancy hotels and airports you will probably come across one of those restrooms where every stall is out or close to being out of toilet paper. Not to mention when you travel to foreign countries where hygiene and cleansiness in the bathroom is not top priority, especially public bathrooms. You can even put this tissue as a seat cover, if there's even a seat to put it on. Seriously though, the first time I used a restroom where there was no toilet paper, I was so relieved that I had stashed a roll in my purse just in case. And, not only did it get me out of a touchy situation, it was enough for one more person in my group to use it as well. The point is that this small 55 sheet roll goes a long way. Thank goodness for travel size toilet paper. Pop one in your luggage and one in your purse and you'll be glad.
...

As I started to age I found my health declining. 5 years ago on a whim I walked into a Chicago Fitness Store and ended up purchasing the Pacemaster Gold Elite. It has 16 programs that make it easy for anyone to use - 4 Fat Burning, 6 Cardio & 6 Personal Trainer programs.

I was never a runner or a jogger, but I am now. In fact missing a day ruins my day. With out the programs, on a less expensive model, I doubt I would be where I am today. The Pacemaster Gold Elite makes sure with it's heart monitor, that my work outs are where they need to be, to be optimal for my goals and fat burn. I've learned that running does not insure fat burn, being in the appropriate heart range for a set time is much more effective. Working out with the Gold Elite I know I am always getting my best workout, without the concerns of finding it myself.

The Gold Elite will has the ability to track up to 4 seperate users. Each user enters their age and weight and the Pacemaster determines where they...
...

I bought this air mattress for when my boyfriend and I go camping in the fall. We used to use a different Coleman queen sized air mattress but decided we need a little bit more versatility with it. So we bought this 5 in 1 unit. We has issues with the extra space in the tent when the old air bed was inflated. But with this new mattress we can use it as a couch with arm rests, a queen sized bed or a double high twin bed! It inflates quickly but I had some difficulty deflating it because of the pivot points. After a little pushing to redirect the air, it was easy to fold up and put away. It didn't come with a storage bag of any kind so we put it in it's own dedicated duffel bag along with a set of sheets and two inflatable pillows. Defiantly and easy pack to take with you for those spur of the moment trips. It does tend to get hot especially when there isn't any wind for the night. I also have some trouble keeping the sheets on the bed but with some corner sheet ties they stay on pretty...
...

I have ridden this bike everyday for the last four years for 35 minutes. It has served me well. During that time I have had to replace straps that hold my feet on the pedals twice and the back cushion once. Each time I called the parts department at their main headquarters, and they were invariably helpful and nice. Once they did not have the parts in stock, and there was a delay in getting them. Another time they sent the wrong part even though I'd given them the correct number from the diagram in the instruction book. They said to just keep the wrong part, and they shipped the right one. They did that promptly. I have been very pleased with their parts replacement service. They have been more helpful than any other company from which I've ordered replacement parts. The bike has held up well considering the usage I have given it. The electronic part has worked well, too. The guidebook gives good directions for setting up an exercise program, and I have followed...
...

We got this bike a few months ago for my daughter who is a huge Barbie fan. She really loved the fact that it comes with a miniature Barbie bike to attach to the handle bars so you can bring your doll with you. It was a bit of a hassle to put together but my husband finally got it all figured out. The colors on the bike are very pretty and girly and it looks even better in person. It came with some cheap plastic flower prints to put on the tires but those wouldn't stay on so we just trashed them. My daughter has yet to learn how to ride it yet and she is still a little short for it but she really enjoys daddy helping her ride it around. It was a bit pricey but it was worth it to see her smile!
...

kebridgeman says "Good for a beginning exerciser." about Gazelle Gazelle Edge

Before I joined a gym, the Gazelle Edge was a good "get started". I had never exercised before and have severe asthma. This got me started. I worked out on this during an hour-long TV show. Once I had lost some weight and was comfortable with joining a gym, I really haven't used the Gazelle since. Now that I've used a regular elliptical, the Gazelle Edge just doesn't getting me pumping the same.

I will admit that the digital timer/counter never worked. And I decided it wasn't worth paying to ship it to be fixed. It also squeaks (sometimes badly) when I'm working out with it. If I'm watching TV while on this, I have to turn the TV volume on nearly full-blast.

To feel like I'm getting a work-out, I have to either lean forward or lean backward while working out. This, of course, means I'm also working on my arms or my back respectively.

If you need some "help" getting started on a fitness program, the Gazelle Edge is a good match for you.
...

After my third child, I wanted a quick way to get into shape. And after having a December baby, I wanted to be able to do some running and be indoors without having to go to a gym or club. The answer was to buy a treadmill. We looked at several stores in our town and found some that were reasonably priced but not many options. They didn't have the automatic incline. To have to stop and do it manually was not something I wanted to have to do all the time. We finally came accross the one by Gold's Gym and I was quickly eager to buy it. It was a purchase we never regretted. I started using it right away and it has helped me to loose alot of weight. It also was a great aid in helping me train for my first ever marathon which was 13 miles. I loved all the options...built in workout plans, fan, automatic incline, adjustable speeds, timer and heart rate monitor. Sure there are top of the line fancy but this is everything I will ever need. Good quality and greatly priced. ...
...

javajo says "quality that lasts" about Weslo Cadence c72

I purchased this product used and it has been around a while, that is why the review. I am very impressed with Weslo and its products. This treadmill is in good condition and still runs as well as it did new.

This treadmill has an electric incline--at a touch of the button it wil allow you to choose the percentage of incline you want. It also shows you how fast you are going--miles per hour, the number of calories you are burning and with the use of thumb sensors, it can tell you what your heartrate is.

This machine is sturdy and well built. It is quite a large machine and takes up plenty of space, but it folds easily and can be moved around because it has wheels.

There is an emergency shut off--in fact, you cannot start the machine even accidently until you have inserted the emergency shut off key; no need to worry about little ones touching the buttons and starting it up and getting hurt.
...

We all have those days when we just don't want to leave the house . That is why treadmills are great. Every one in the family can use one. Sometimes when its raining you don't want to run but exercise is important and we need . Trust me i hate running in the raining and in the winter. My body cant handle the cold so i run on the treadmill. t is super duper safe and if you have obese children this will get them exited and they too want to work out. you can watch tv listen to music and even read a book while your not the treadmill because only your legs are moving not your whole body but you still get alot of exerciser same as runnig. SO have fun and you dont have to leave the house totally worth it and it tells you how many calories nad how may fat calories and how many miles and what speed your going. it is also very safe. ...
...

I PURCHASED A BOWFLEX TREADCLIMBER APPROX. 2 YEARS AGO. THEY HAD 3 KINDS TO CHOOSE FROM. A FAIRLY EXPENSIVE ONE, A MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND A CHEAPER VERSION. i PURCHASED THE MIDDLE ONE. THEY ALL PRETTY MUCH WORK THE SAME. THERE ARE ONLY A FEW DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THEM SO IT WASNT WORTH IT FOR ME TO PURCHASE THE MOST EXPENSIVE. IT HAD A FEW MORE GADGETS THAT I HAD NO INTENTIONS OF USING SO THE EXTRA SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS WASNT WORTH PAYING. IT STATES THAT IT WORKS BETTER THAN THE AVERAGE TREADMILL IN HALF THE TIME. I ABSOLUTELY AGREE. I HAVE A REGULAR TREADMILL THAT I WORK OUT ON FOR ONE HOUR, 5 DAYS A WEEK. I DID EVENTUALLY LOSE WEIGHT BUT WHEN I STARTED DOING THE BOWFLEX, I WORKED OUT FOR 1./2 HOUR 5 DAYS A WEEK AND FELT THAT IT WORKED JUST AS WELL, IF NOT BETTER. I ALSO HAD IT ON AN INCLINE WHICH MADE IT SOMEWHAT HARDER BUT IT GAVE ME THE SAME RESULTS AS THE REGULAR TREADMILL. JUST LIKE ALL MY OTHER EQUIPMENT, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE USED TO HANG MY CLOTHING ON BUT...
...

I recently bought this mat from Target, for only 40.00. At first i thought that was to much money to pay for a simple mat, but now i am convinced that it is worth it. This mat does exactly what it claims, saves the carpet and reduces some treadmill noise. Measure carefully! The mat was about 1/2 inch too narrow. We liked the quality and just decided to use it anyway. In the picture it looks brown but it is really black. My main concern about getting a mat was odor. But this one is pretty much odor-free. It is well worth the price.
...

I didn't want to give up my fitness because I've always been one to stay in shape so I started shopping for a stationary bike that would help maintain muscle strength while not having a hard impact on cartilage. I decided to purchased the Stamina bike because I liked that it was portable and I also liked that it had a gauge telling me how many miles I had biked, the time it took me, and the calories I burned. It also has a resistance knob so I can make my biking more difficult if I want to. After using the bike for almost a year, I am very happy to report that my legs remained toned, and I feel that the bike has actually helped in my arthritis treatment. I use it three to four times a week for about twenty five minutes and I have incereased the resistance on it several times to strength my workouts. This bike is great on those days when I'm a bit off and don't feel...
...

I was always someone who wanted an exercise equipment in my home. It's not that i didn't have enough room to get it, or anything like that, i was just scared that i'd become like everyone else that i know who has a home gym. They eventually get tired of it. I didn't wnat to spend so much money on something that in a ocuple of months i would just get tired of doing the same thing, and let it collect dust. Or even worse, like what happened to my friend, its now where she hangs her clothes after she irons them. So one day i decided id risk the chance of getting tired of my investment and i went out shopping for treadmills. Me and my boyfriend went to every store imaginable and compared prices and tested out just about every machine or treadmill that particular store had. I particularly in every single store was always not only drawn to the bowflex machines, but they indeed attracted me the most and it is ultimately what i purchased. I could not have been happier.
...

T-Tapp is a workout like no other. I started it 4 years ago when I was having some weight issues. I have done it fairly regularly and this is amazing because I have never suck with a workout so much as TTapp. it is addictive and it reshapes your body. It is Designed by Teresa Tapp specifically for women, to rebuild the basal metabolic rate and to cinch in the body and lengthen and define the muscles. It's like a mixture of dance, pilates and yoga, but then totally unlike anything you have ever tried. Even after the 15 minute workout my entire body is incredibly sore. Despite having huge issues with thyroid and hormone problems, I my waist is the same size now as it was when I was 14 pounds lighter. TTapp definitely cinches you in and my shape is very nice. I can see long lean muscles and cuts in my back and legs. It does not create the slightly round shape of weight lifting. Teresa worked with models before turning her workout into a video that anyone could use. ...
...

BECKRI says "Adequate and quiet..." about Marcy PL-43211 Upright Mag Cycle

I have been generally just a walker. But in the last year I have been having knee pain. I learned from a physical thereapist that the best exercise for my particular problem would be to bicycle to strengthen the muscles around my inner side of the knees. I bought this bike on Amazon after researching a little bit on various sites. I just wanted something small, simple to use, and basic, as well as affordable. This fit the bill. Some of the reviewers on Amazon seemed to have difficulty putting the bike together, but we did not, even though the tools mentioned as being included on the box were not included. Once we had it together it was simple to adjust the height for me. There are 8 levels of difficulty. I started out at about a 3 or 4 and make my way up to 8 during a workout, then wind back down to the 3 or 4 at the end. The main thing I noticed is just how quiet this thing is. I can do this before the kids get up and they won't be woke by it, it's that quiet!
junk1564 says "Great treadmill for the price" about Proform Crosswalk 375 E

A few years ago I was very interested in getting a treadmill that I could use so that I could stay active during the winter or when I just didn't want to go outside to walk. I found this treadmill at a Sears sale for about $400, which I think it a good deal for the treadmill. Some pros include:

1. It folds up for storage

2. Electric - it pushes me to maintain speed when I feel tired

3. Displays calories burned, distance, time, and speed

4. Goes from .5 - 10 mph

5. Has 2 programs

6. Has an emergency stop attachment

7. Inclines

8. Above the digital display is an area to rest a book and has a place to put a drink next to the reading holder

9. Has lasted over 4 years with no problems thus far

Some cons are:

1. Even folded it is still quite large

2. It is very heavy

3. There's no indication of different levels of inclination

4. Includes no heart rate monitor

5. Only 2 programs to follow (and they're quite advanced - at least for me, but I am not a runner)
...

mnvikings11 says "Wonderful Total Gym machine " about Total Gym Total Gym Power Platinum with Crunch Attachment& Squat Stand

I bought this finally bach in Aug 2009. I've been waiting for this for a long time and I have really seen a difference in myself after using this machine for a while now. It is very easy to use & very stable and compact for all the features it came with. I now have a stronger core just from using this for about 20-45 min. a day. I like the fact that you can do a lot of different exercises and use your own wieght to do it. Even if your over 300 pds, you can take baby steps and work your way to good health. It's all mind over matter and just doing it on a regular basis. I still have yet to go to the full incline yet, I like to challenge myself, so that will come in time. Living in Minnesota and working out in the garage can be a challenge in itself, but I try to exercise as often as I can and just dress in my sweats until I get nice and warmed up. I highly reccomemnd this Total Gym for anyone that is serious about getting healthier.
...

tomgoodson says "Adidas Soccer Socks are the best you can buy" about adidas Adidas Socks

As I have played soccer all my life, and now my children have played for many years! I have tried many brands of soccer socks! I have found that Adidas Soccer Socks are the best brand on the market! They hold up the best, to wear, to tear and to the washing that they must take, week after weeks during the practices and the games!!
Soccer athletes, no matter if begging, or have played for years, need something that will support there feet the best and I have found that Adidas socks are just those socks, they are a little thicker than the rest of the socks on the market, plus they seem to hold up, because they are a little thicker. They don't break down with all the washing and they seem to hold up and don't wear out as fast as other socks do. We have tried many other brands over the past many years and Adidas in our book is definately the best brand by far that we have found that holds up the best.
...
