As much as I love the computer, I write the old fashioned way very often. The only type of pen I ever purchase for myself since my first job a is a Paper Mate. The others just do not have the same feel in my hand and they do not meet the paper with the same grace, ease, and style the way this brand of pen does. — I use them for all my writing needs: —...

My coworkers seriously question my sanity on a daily basis for going on and on about my Papermate Profile pen... but truthfully, it's the best one I've ever used. — It says on the package that it's the "World's Smoothest Pen" and I couldn't agree more. It does indeed write smoothly - - and the finger grip makes it super comfy! Plus, these pens come in a variety of colors... my personal fave is the turquoise. — My boss loves 'em so much, he keeps stealing mine and hiding them around his office for his own use! — Try the Papermate Profile pen - trust me, you'll love it! — ...

Sharpie CD/DVD Twin Tip Marker — — My Use: — I use DVD's and CD's for data storage and organization, and I use these little Sharpie CD/DVD Twin Tip Markers to organize those CD/DVD's that pile up in a hurry. — — The Good: — The Sharpie CD/DVD Twin Tip Marker's tips are soft, so they do not damage the CD/DVD that you are marking with it. If you label a CD/DVD with something hard like a ball point pen, you can damage the CD/DVD and ruin the data that is written on it. There are two points, one thick for bold labeling "SEE ME" for a CD/DVD holding large, important contents. The fine tip is there for CD/DVD's that contain libraries or the like. — — The Bad: — The fine point of the Sharpie CD/DVD Twin Tip Marker does skip a bit. However, this is the only product with such a fine writing product with a CD/DVD in mind. — — The Ugly: — DO NOT get this thing near furniture or clothes. It...

I have used Sharpie pens for years now and keep finding more uses as time goes by. They are great for many things like labeling packages, marking computer disks or sleeves and even making graph charts for college projects. Let me share with you some of the other uses I have found over the years..... — — Sharpie Permanent Markers — — These come in different colors but the most useful color for me is Black and it has helped me many times over the past few years. I have 4 bar stools that seems to get chipped or scratched every time I turn around. I just grab a Sharpie and PRESTO the scratch is gone! — — On my pool skimmer it has marks for the high and low water levels for the pool, well as I get older it is harder to see those marks. I used a Sharpie to mark the lines and now I can see then at a glance very easy! — — In college I used them to mark rolls of developed film so I knew what each roll of negatives had on them and it saved me...

kle0686 says "The first Sharpie Pen, doesn't bleed through paper!" about Sharpie Pen

When I saw (and paid attention to) the new Sharpie commercial, I realized it was different. I love Sharpie markers, so when I realized Sharpie came out with an actual pen, I was happy. I ran out to Staples to get it. Well, first I checked online to see where I could get the best deal. I could only find the new pen at Staples. The new Sharpie Pen 4 pack at Staples is $6.99 plus tax, which isn't too bad. — As soon as I got home I had to try it. It claims to not bleed through paper, and it really doesn't!. This is a big plus. The pen writes very smoothly and glides like a good ball point. — There are some cons. The pen still looks like a marker which disappointed me. The grip is similar to Sharpie thin markers, it has no comfort. I probably would not use it to write long papers or for any long period of time, but it is great for quick notes. — Sharpie Pens come in four colors: Black, blue, green, and red. I bought the variety pack with one of each color, but they...

Today I want to rave about an inexpensive gel pen that really does a good job. I picked up these gel pens to try out since I love drawing with ink. The Unison Rubber Grip Gel pens were only a couple dollars for 10 at a local dollar type store. A real bargain for something that worked so well. — — I took several pens with me to draw some of the missions for an art project I am doing. Turns out these pens work well on my art pad which has a bit of a texture to it. I drew several drawings and found the pen very smooth on the rough paper and the rubber grip was very comfortable in my hand. — — The pens have a medium point and write equally well on stationary as it did on the drawing pad. I ran out of ink with the first pen 3 days after I bought it. I used it for 12/9x12" drawings of the 5 local missions in great detail and did 24 sketches of people during my travels the past 3 days with the same pen. All were on a 9x12" drawing pad and finally ran out...

PilotPens says "The Pilot G-2 Limited, best of its class." about Pilot Pilot G-2 Limited

If only I could buy ten more of these. After using the G-2 I started looking at other Pilot products and sure enough at Target the new Pilot G-2 Limited was sitting on a rack at $10.00 with a $3.00 rebate. Of course I bought it (color: silver) and loved it equaly as I love the G-2's. The G-2 Limited has metal accents on the clip and tip and has a solid barrel color (that's what differentiates it from the G-2). It uses G-2 refills, although the ink you get in the G-2 Limited is oddly halfway depleted after you buy it. The grip is a lot cushier and more comfortable than the G-2 and is the same color as the barrel. It provides a sleek professional look and is great for any office. — — Visit my homepage and if you have any questions or opinions you would like to share email me at: — — PilotPens@gmail.com —...

If you don't already know Pilot G-2's are the #1 Selling Gel Pen in America. Thus, when discussed it has many great characteristics. I have tried every pen from ballpoint to roller-ball and was about to give up on gel pens for good. Most are too glossy and bleed through the paper. They often leak or stop working half way through. Then, I witnessed a friend of mine using one and writing without any flaws or even skipping because of ink flow. I asked if I could use one for the time being and then fell in love with them. At first I wanted all of the colors and all of the different point styles. Then one morning I found myself writing with a blue G-2 and it was extremely smooth, much smoother than that of any of the other colors. So I bought more of them. Oddly enough, Pilot must have a special likeness for the blue G-2 also because I found that they come in packs of two and four, unlike all the other colors which come in variety packs. I can write for hours and just enjoy the...

I actually found one of these pens left behind in a conference room, and thought nothing of it. That night, I spent two hours at my son's soccer practice with only a pad of paper. Being a part-time writer, I started sketching out some story ideas with a pencil. When that broke, I found the G2 pen in my pocket. Now, normally when I write long-hand, if I can go for five pages, it's a good day. Imagine my surprise to find practice over and over 40 pages written out. I've never used such a smooth flowing, comfortable pen. After about another 100 pages, the ink has run out and now I'm going to head to the office store on the way home to buy a box of them. Outstanding. The only "problem" I had was that when it ran out of ink, it just quit writing over about three lines. The ink seems to run out "all at once". I guess I shouldn't complain, it's one of the first times I've ever actually used a pen long enough to run it out of...

Working with billing, I have a way of doing it that involves going through a lot of paperwork. Normally I like to do my checks of it with pencil, but when I have completed a segment, I want to leave notation that I will recognize later on. That is where my red pens come into play, and one of the reasons that I use them so often. In addition to that, I use red pens when I am sending anything through interdepartmental mail, so that it stands out and is easy to read by the mail person. Red pens are a way of life for me; from correcting mistakes on things that I am editing, to using them on yellow pads as notes, to even leaving myself sticky-notes with reminders. More often than I write with other colors, red pens come into play at work. — — My primary choice of red pens is the Papermate Flexgrip Ultra Ball Pen with Red Ink and a Medium Point. I normally use the same type of Flexgrip blue pens as my other office pens, but it is the Red ones that get more use from me. I am...

SpokaneMan says "They might suit some people, but are not my cup of tea." about BIC Round Stic Grip Red Ballpoint Pens

Red pens are one of those necessities to anyone who needs to make correction or write with something that is going to stand out on paper. Some people even choose to use them because the color is so bold that it is easy to read from a distance, and even easier to pick out from normal text that we deal with on a daily basis. In particular, red pens play an important roll for anyone in the education sector, and having been in there as a student and then employee I can verify that claim. Because the red pen becomes a necessity, it must then be reliable and must be expected to be used frequently. When it comes to reliability, the new Bic Round Stic Grip Ballpoint Pen comes in handy for me. — — Set up with a clear barrel and a clear lid, the pens only splashes of color are around the tip, and for part of the rounded grip. Other than that, you can see right through the pen, and it gives you the benefit of seeing the ink levels in each of your pens. This way it is easier to know...

I love pens, especially gel pens. While not my favorite, Pilot G2 Gel Pens are a good pen at a good price. They are sturdy, long-lasting and quite popular, as well as very easy to find in most office supply stores. — The only reason I don't rate them higher is that I think their ink could be darker and more vivid. I mostly use black ink and find it to be kind of bland once it dries. Because of this I only have a few of these pens in my home.
My use of the Pilot Easy Touch pen was by accident, simply because someone left two of them behind at my desk at work. I am not one to complain though, because I often lose pens from my desk anyways, so I see this as a good trade-off. What I didn't expect though, was to really like writing with these pens, as I normally prefer the ones that I have, and I additionally favor writing in blue ink rather than the black that this presented. Regardless of the reasoning, I began using these pens, and have come to really enjoy how they work for me. — The specific name of this product is the Pilot Easy Touch Retractable Ball Point Pen with a Medium Black Ball Point Tip. I have to tell you, that is one mouthful of a name if you are asking for something this specific at an office supply store. The title says a lot about the pen itself, in that it is their retractable version, that it writes in black ink, and that it has a ball-point tip. The pens retracts...
