My husband retired after 25 yrs. as a Correctional Officer & went into the Construction Business. I became the Office Manager & needed to try different Brands til I found the ones that truly worked well. One of my top most favorite items that I use every day is my Dymo LabelWriter 400. Oh, I wish I had found this sooner as I was using those blanks sheets of labels where you print one label at a time. No more of that!!! Now, I go into the software that came with the Dymo, click on the size I need, fill in the info & click the print button. It prints the label FAST & slips it right out to me. It even comes with a built in address book that you can save addresses to bring up later to save you the time of re typing a person's address. You just click in your address book the name you want, it comes up on the screen on the blank label, if it's the way you want it, you click print & it's done. If you want to make changes, you...

smallblur says "It's easy to use" about Dymo LetraTag

I've had mine for over a year and I have to say, if you can handle the price of the refill label tape, it's a good product. It is easy to use. The variety of label refills is good, I have used the clear, white paper, iron on and magnetic. The iron on label is cool and I will warn you, if you chose to iron your label on something you better want it there forever! Because it's not coming off! The only down side is the thing takes six AA batteries. I have chosen to buy rechargeable batteries as the cost on rechargeable is better than they use to be. I have given this product 4 stars as it is good at what it does and it is way better then the old school label tape style where you squeeze the handle to make an impression of each letter. Ouch! if you remember using that style label maker this is a wonder of...

branhndrs says "Worked as expected." about Dymo LetraTag

Like all people going to Walmart i know i should expect what is already known. i come across this little gadget because the last letter tager that i had went out with the old news and was taken off the market. So i transfer and try out something new. I didn't have any problems from the start but realized that the refills can be rather pricey. — On the other hand using it is rather easy and the refilling process is quick and fast. But for those looking for something cheap this is the way to go. But realize that the refills (if you can find them) are pricey and known to come in "value" packs that aren't exactly value. —...

Cat says "Zen-like Peace from a Label Maker? Maybe..." about Dymo LetraTag

I was inspired to buy the Dymo LetraTag label maker after reading a productivity book called "Getting Things Done" that stated that a key factor in getting a handle on life's daily tasks was to have the ability to label file folders easily and quickly. I picked up the Dymo LetraTag as a part of a combination pack with three label cartridges at BJ's Wholesale Club for about thirty dollars. — Using the Dymo LetraTag — Using this product is simple. It requires four AA batteries for power. The top flips up to accommodate the label cartridge. Type in the words on the non-QWERTY style keyboard, hit the PRINT button, and then punch the label cutter to remove your label and apply it to whatever suits your fancy. — Uses for the Dymo LetraTag labelmaker — I've used this label maker to label all of my file folders at home, as well as my filing cabinet drawers. Recently I purchased a number of canvas bins for my closet and was pleased to find that the label maker tape...
