Fed Ex was once the best of the best. When no one else could get it there in time, or was dependable to meet the deadline you could always call 1-800-go-FED-EX and count on a friendly representative ready to take care of you and your needs. Not anymore. I have watched over the course of the last year as Fed Ex has again and again failed their own committment times, when you call to ask where your shipment is, it is conveniently blamed on weather problems. Sometimes even in the town that I live in, when it is clear for three states around me, I watch the radar nightly. I have had them refuse to honor scheduled times, forget packages in a truck, misdeliver, not read the notes placed in the system and then when you call customer service, do they fix the problem? No, but they will give you your money back. Ok great, now that my customer has waited all day for the package, missed lunch, I look like an idiot, I have heart burn, yeah give me my $25.00 back. Sheesh. — Use...

PilotPens says "The Pilot G-2 Limited, best of its class." about Pilot Pilot G-2 Limited

If only I could buy ten more of these. After using the G-2 I started looking at other Pilot products and sure enough at Target the new Pilot G-2 Limited was sitting on a rack at $10.00 with a $3.00 rebate. Of course I bought it (color: silver) and loved it equaly as I love the G-2's. The G-2 Limited has metal accents on the clip and tip and has a solid barrel color (that's what differentiates it from the G-2). It uses G-2 refills, although the ink you get in the G-2 Limited is oddly halfway depleted after you buy it. The grip is a lot cushier and more comfortable than the G-2 and is the same color as the barrel. It provides a sleek professional look and is great for any office. — — Visit my homepage and if you have any questions or opinions you would like to share email me at: — — PilotPens@gmail.com —...

PilotPens says "The Pilot V Ball RT, a pen worth saving for. " about Palm Pilot Vball Liquid Ink Roller Ball Pen

I have recently reviewed the Pilot G-2 and when I came across this pen thought it was a gel pen. It actually can use G-2 refills and rollerball refills. Overall this is a good pen, although a little bit blotchier than that of the G-2. The design is very well constructed and again like in my last review, the blue color is my favorite. The grip isn't what I find comfortable but I can still write well with it. If you're planning on working on lined paper than this is not the pen to use. It not only bleeds through lined paper, but it becomes even thicker and blotchier than before. If you're using note cards or something thick it's perfectly fine. Printer paper works well with this too. It does not smear very much but after use I recommend using your fingers or a tissue to get the extra ink off of the tip. This prevents further blots. — — If this is not the right pen for you then go to: — — http://www.pilotpen.us — — For more...

PilotPens says "Pilot G-2, the best pen around." about Pilot G-2 07 Gel Pens

If you don't already know Pilot G-2's are the #1 Selling Gel Pen in America. Thus, when discussed it has many great characteristics. I have tried every pen from ballpoint to roller-ball and was about to give up on gel pens for good. Most are too glossy and bleed through the paper. They often leak or stop working half way through. Then, I witnessed a friend of mine using one and writing without any flaws or even skipping because of ink flow. I asked if I could use one for the time being and then fell in love with them. At first I wanted all of the colors and all of the different point styles. Then one morning I found myself writing with a blue G-2 and it was extremely smooth, much smoother than that of any of the other colors. So I bought more of them. Oddly enough, Pilot must have a special likeness for the blue G-2 also because I found that they come in packs of two and four, unlike all the other colors which come in variety packs. I can write for hours and just enjoy the...

Dries kind of like little jewels. — I bought the 5 pack and they do have a 10 pack out there, but didn't want to get to wild at first. These worked real nice and you can have fun mixing the colors too or blend them. When it dries...

I actually found one of these pens left behind in a conference room, and thought nothing of it. That night, I spent two hours at my son's soccer practice with only a pad of paper. Being a part-time writer, I started sketching out some story ideas with a pencil. When that broke, I found the G2 pen in my pocket. Now, normally when I write long-hand, if I can go for five pages, it's a good day. Imagine my surprise to find practice over and over 40 pages written out. I've never used such a smooth flowing, comfortable pen. After about another 100 pages, the ink has run out and now I'm going to head to the office store on the way home to buy a box of them. Outstanding. The only "problem" I had was that when it ran out of ink, it just quit writing over about three lines. The ink seems to run out "all at once". I guess I shouldn't complain, it's one of the first times I've ever actually used a pen long enough to run it out of...

Working with billing, I have a way of doing it that involves going through a lot of paperwork. Normally I like to do my checks of it with pencil, but when I have completed a segment, I want to leave notation that I will recognize later on. That is where my red pens come into play, and one of the reasons that I use them so often. In addition to that, I use red pens when I am sending anything through interdepartmental mail, so that it stands out and is easy to read by the mail person. Red pens are a way of life for me; from correcting mistakes on things that I am editing, to using them on yellow pads as notes, to even leaving myself sticky-notes with reminders. More often than I write with other colors, red pens come into play at work. — — My primary choice of red pens is the Papermate Flexgrip Ultra Ball Pen with Red Ink and a Medium Point. I normally use the same type of Flexgrip blue pens as my other office pens, but it is the Red ones that get more use from me. I am...

I have lost many a fingernail to a deeply embedded staple in a stack of papers. Like many people, I first attempt to remove a reluctant staple with the old fashioned, pinch-style remover. After several failed attempts I resort to pulling at it with my fingernails. If all else fails, I've been know to grab an occasional staple with my bare teeth. No longer. Stanley-Bostitch Contemporary Staple Remover is my new best office friend. This tool is slim and comfortable in my hands and there's no pinching involved. To remove a staple, simply slide the metal blade (don't worry, it's not sharp) underneath the staple. As I slide it through, it lifts even stubborn staples out of paper without tearing or excess wrinkling. The removed staple clings to the metal blade so that it can be easily discarded. This staple remover is smooth, fast, and comfortable to use. — Under four dollars, the Stanley-Bostitch Contemporary Staple Remover is...

For less than $20, I purchased the Eldon File Keeper Box Office to organize my home office paperwork. I discovered that by downsizing and rearranging my home files, I could eliminate my bulky, utilitarian file cabinet and replace it with a compact plastic unit that tucks neatly under my desk. The Eldon File Keeper is literally like having an office in a box. The top is made of a sturdy, molded plastic material and doubles as a see through storage tray. I keep paper clips, rubber bands, pens, an eraser, and a small pack of post it notes tucked neatly in the compartments. The lid can either be taken completely off of the base, or left in place and snapped tightly shut for those time you want to carry it by the attached handle. — The main portion of the unit houses letter size hanging file folders. Because the box is made of plastic, there are no metal brackets to warp or bend. All of my hanging folders fit perfectly into the molded...

I live in Hayward, California, and I try hard to not get FedEx to deliver packages when I place orders online. This is only the second time, but it is even worse than the first. I live in an apartment complex, and instead of coming to my apartment, they assume I'm not home, and go straight the the manager's office to frop it off... I don't even know until I either check with the manager, or she calls me the next day letting me know about it. — — This time, they didn't even do that. They marked it as "4:17PM - Customer not available, or company closed". I was home ALL day! no knock on the door, no call on the phone, nothing!

While riding Lil' Blue the other day I had the misfortune of getting my pants burnt onto my nice chrome exhaust pipes. I was wearing a pair of Starter nylon/polyester based pants when I went to pick up my luggage rack. Well the wind whipped them around and at a light I was treated to the unmistakable smell of burning plastic. I was not happy at all and was staring at a large tennis ball sized glob of burnt on plastic. — — I tried scraping it off but it was not doing much at all, so I set sail on the Internet highway in search of a way to remove it without damaging the chrome. I found some suggestions which included Oven Cleaner, Opps by Homex, 0000 grit Steel Wool, Fingernail Polish Remover and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Pads. Well oven cleaner is very caustic and I about gagged using it with no success. Opps barely made a mark in the hard glob and evaporated very quickly. Steel wool no matter how gentle you are is going to scratch so that was not an option and...
