Hobby Lobby is an all around fantastic store- they carry mostly anything crafty that a person can think of. Hobby Lobby is a gigantic store and can easily spend hours upon hours in browsing around for your favorite items. Most of the items they carry are nicely made. They sell tons of whatever youre looking for be it arts, fabric, fake plants, picture frames, candles, baskets, wall decor, wedding, lamps, clocks, holiday, paints, jewlery, cards, scrapbooking, bags, etc. Another great thing is that if you go to www.hobbylobby.com and find that what youre looking for isn't on sale, their is always a 40% coupon to print & use on ONE NON-SALE merchandise only item.

The only thing that I dislike about Hobby Lobby is that I feel that I don't really get a good deal. Yeah, somethings are cheap but then others such as 4x6 picture frames are priced $19.99 and then 50% off which ends up $9.99 (which should be the maximum price of this smaller picture frame). I just don't see the $9.99 being a good...

Recently I have noticed that Michael's has increased and improved their bead and beading supplies stock. For me, in Fairbanks, Ak, the store has now become a good source of interesting, unusual and inexpensive beads locally. Michael's now stocks jewelry chain and wire, tools, findings, charms, as well as a good selection of beads from inexpensive glass beads to sterling silver and Swarovski crystals and lots in between. I can spend a little time there and have a new necklace all designed and supplies purchased-beads, pendants, findings. Everything in one place. I love the convenience!

I went to Michael's today for the first time and I was impressed. They have a wide varity of craft items, home decor, and lots of other things! I saw quite a few sales and clearance. I went in for scrapbooking items and found all but one thing I needed. When I went up to pay, the cost was less than the prices were listed at! I had gone to a "Super Center" earlier in the day and I would have ended up paying a lot more there. By the way...they also have a large section of kids crafting items.

What can i say. This store has every kind of yarn you can think of. the wide variety of yarn, and needles are breath taking. they also have other kinds of crafts like scrapbooking, stain glass, wood working, sewing, and holiday decoration.

This is the first store I go to when im trying to find yarn and great prices. The customer service is fantastic and fast.

This is my candyland when it comes to my knitting and crochet addiction. The inventory is huge, they have coupons every week and that is always a plus. Id say this is one of my favorite yarn stores

The Knit Knack is located in Olde Town Arvada, close to Grandview and Olde Wadsworth. I first went to Knit Knack to take their beginning knitting class because I wanted to learn how to do all the basics and eventually work up to more difficult classes. I absolutely loved it! The store is beautiful with walls and walls of high quality, unique yarn in every color imaginable. It's also very homey with numerous sitting areas for you to come, hang out, and stay for a while. They also sell coffee, tea, and hot chocolate from the little coffee bar right in the store. Even though the store is great, the people are actually what makes it special. The owner, Gerri, and her staff are so helpful. I have taken knitting projects in there numerous times with questions and every time, someone will sit down and help me figure out what I am doing and where I need to go. After visiting the NC Transportation Museum we walked over to the Little Choo Choo Shop. This is a store that specializes in anything and everything that a person who is into model railroading could desire or even someone who just has an interest in trains and locomotions minus the hobby of building a layout.

The Little Choo Choo Shop carries mostly HO, N, and Z scale cars, figures, buildings, landscaping, etc. Okay, let me explain. Just as we have the American alphabet from A-Z so the model train industry has a scale from A to Z. The scale means how many of the item it would take to make the regular size. For example, a car that is HO scale would require 87 times the amount in that size to make the regular-sized car. The largest train size is A and as you go thru the alphabet the closer you get to Z the smaller the scale. Dee's Beads is a family owned bead store in Moreno Valley, CA. They soley focus on jewelry making supplies, with an emphasis on beads. They have classes as well as a community of locals who meet up regularly for a jewelry making "craft time." They're open Monday thru Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 4 pm and Dee's accepts Visa and Mastercard. They accept the coupons from competitive stores and they give patrons a discount for returning their carry bags.

Some of you who have gotten to know me is aware that going into a craft store is like being a kid in a toy store for me and Dee's Beads is no different. Dee's has friendly, helpful staff and I love the table in the middle of the store where you can ind any number of locals working on jewelry! The family run store carries beads that you might not find at other craft stores. I love that they accept the coupons from JoAnn's and Michaels and that they discount for bringing back their carry...

When I need new pencils, paints, or other art supplies, the first place I like to go I Aaron's Brothers Art and Framing. I feel like a kid in a candy store when I'm there! Also, a custom framing store, Aaron's Brothers has a fabulous variety and quality of art supplies at your disposal.

While I prefer to buy my canvases at JoAnn's because their prices are better, Aaron's Brothers is the place I go for art tools, paints, pencils, pastels, a variety of quality and sizes of art paper and frames. The prices on their tools are comparable, even cheaper depending on sales, but their variety is AWESOME!!

Aaron's Brothers carry PRISMACOLOR products, which I prefer, but they even have a small section of eco-friendly, organic art supplies. Aaron's Brothers also carry photo and art frames, photo albums and scrapbooking supplies and art prints for your home's decor.

I love their collection of art portfolios and easles! Not only are they quality items, but the prices are reasonable....

I've been shopping at Herrschners since the early 90s when I got addicted to crafts in High School. Herrschners.com is a fantastic site for the craft lover! They sell everything you would want or need for your craft projects.

The number one reason I go to Herrschners is for the Kits!They sell dozens and dozens of kits that include everything you need to create a project. My favorite type of craft is needlework, especially cross-stitch. This site sells kits in all sorts of designs and styles. You can get a needlework kit, for example, in a very simple pattern for the novice, or in a very complex pattern for the experienced. You can get designs that look cartoony, or designs that look real to life.

The needlework kits come with all the string you need (and then some), the cloth you cross-stitch on (whatever that's called), at least one needle, a pattern and instructions. I have a stamped cross-stich kit which is cool because the design is stamped right on the cloth. But...

as we walked by, i looked in through the windows from outside and noticed the store filled with shelves of colorful scrapbook paper and other supplies. i walked in and browsed the corner closest to the doors. the other section was occupied with scrappers at the tables creatively working. sonja greeted me. i asked how long her store has been at that location, because the last time i was at howard hughes promenade, the suite wasn't occupied. she's fairly a new resident. welcome sonja!

sonja's scrapbook spot offers free beginners classes, on "technique tuesdays" there are free mini projects all day (check "calendar spot" on website: www.sonjasscrapbookspot.com). if you fall into the "not crafty" category, it's ok. there are custom and pre-made albums available to preserve special moments with minimum fuss. sonja's scrapbook spot is a great place to shop for your supplies to make albums, cards, home decor, invitations, school projects, and much much more.

Interestingly, when you walk into the front entrance of a Hobby Lobby store, you are greeted with a room full of home furnishings rather than crafts. I saw a variety of shelving units, outdoor garden statuary, benches, accent tables, and large decorative trunks. Hobby Lobby is a superstore with thousands of products in dozens of various departments.

I can spend hours in Hobby Lobby and still feel as though I've only scratched the surface. The crafting area is stocked with everything you could dream of -- scrapbooking supplies, paints, woodworking, polymer clay, floral arrangements, artists canvases, models, and textile crafts. Hobby Lobby also offers some of their merchandise at their online store, craftsetc.com.

In another section of the store I can browse for fabrics for quilting and other home dec projects. Hobby Lobby has great prices and a decent selection of fabrics, some that I hadn't been able to find at my regular fabric store. In addition, there's plenty of yarn and embroidery...

www.jampaper.com’s store is located at 135th 3rd Avenue between 14th and 15th Streets in Manhattan, New York. They are open fro9m 8:30 to 8:00 Mondays through Thursdays; until 7:00 on Fridays; and 10:00 to 6:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

The store looks beautiful. Colorful folders and note cards were displayed nicely. It’s a large store with so many items except one I needed - postcards for the computer.

We bought my son-in-law’s dad a gorgeous crystal for his 60th birthday. I wanted to put it in a box. They had the perfect one because it has a handle so he can take it on the plane after his party in New York to go back to Colorado.

The box is 7 inches by 8 inches not including the handle. I chose a gold swirl but you’ll find many different colors and sizes. I paid $4.00. Then I got...
