I have recently divorced and thus need to purchase a houseful of furniture. I started out with a bedroom set from Liddiards. The sales staff was knowledgeable and quite caring. I had no idea what to look for in a mattress and the salesperson was patient and explained the pros and cons of each. Unfortunately some of the items I purchased had to be ordered in. However, they insisted on delivering the mattress out (at no extra expense) so I didn't have to sleep on the floor another day. I must say that the bed I selected is wonderful! I can honestly say that the experience was positive and I will be in as soon as I can to purchase my living room set.

i had bought a bookcase at american furniture warehouse last year - one you pick up and take home with you the same day - no problems. i love both the piece and the price.

i went back to by a sectional 3 weeks ago - was promised it would be in on may 4th - with a 7 day before or after window. it has now been 9 days and now one cares. i have spoken to sales people who flat out lied to me. i have spoken to managers that have told me they would rather refund my money and have me shop somewhere else than have me call them and (politely) ask where my couch is. they are rude and inconsiderate. i'm so frustrated. i just want the couch - we couldn't find one anywhere else that we liked nearly as much as this one - but am thinking of going somewhere else just because of how frustrating this whole situation has been.

my advice would be to stay away. they do have fantastic prices to get you in the door - but now i've spent over $1,000 and have no couch.

I love Ikea. There is so much to see and so many ideas that i leave with. thier displays are great. the first time you go plan on spending awhile to get through everything and I would recommend brining a bottle of water. Once you are finished with upstairs you have all the great stuff downstairs and of course you can have lunch there. Oh and don't forget the chocolate it is the best. The only thing you have to remember is that you have to assemble things yourself. I bought a huge entertainment center for a great price, but it took a while to get it all together. I looks great though!

On Friday May 1, 2009 , I wet to Mattress Fame to look at beds for my new (1st) apartments. As soon as I went in the Owner John Pattammady offered to help me out. I told him I had spoken with someone about the deals on Queen Beds ( I thought I was in mattress discounters; my error). But I found a bed set that I liked. Restonic 70th anniversary queen set for $899. He gave me a deal for $850 with delivery no taxes and two pillows. It sound good. I asked John about the return policy before processing the deposit and he stating that I can be refunded. I made a deposit of $50 by my "debit visa" which was processed as a debit not credit. Got my recipit and lefted. The very next day I went to mattress discounters and found a better bed that was cheaper ($250 cheaper) and more comfortable for me. The customer service was excellent there. I got to try the beds out. So I made a deposit of $50 there and went back to Mattress fame to get a refund. Here's where everything went down hill... I asked...

we love this toy. ihave had my child sit in this seat from the time that she was a born till this day she is 19 mos now, she just loves to sit in it and rock hereself, the sound and music amuses her and she loves to just sit back and kick, literally. she also like the little light and music that appears at the top, it is very comfortable aand very interative toy, she like the soft texture and alos the swinging. it is very light weight and easy to store, she also like to drga it around the house and sit in it!!!

we have had this throug 3 kids and 6 yrs., it is still in such a good condition that we are surely oging to pass it on to our friends. im sure they will love it too. it does not fold any more hence storing in small storage areas maybe a problem but if you just have a play area you can leave it there and use it as a receliner for the child/ baby. i prefer this ot the other swings that they have in the market these days.

The Ikea in Schaumburg is a great place to shop. Unlike the ikea in boilingbrook you can go to the section or department of the store you want to go to. In boilingbrook you have to follow the arrows through teh entire store. I also like that it is a very large store and you can get almost anything you need there, Make sure to check out the as is department. We got 20 glasses at 7 cents each because they were out of the box. who cares! and we also found the missing items to our disses set for one dollar it is also great to go day after new years to get great deals

Since opening IKEA is a fun place to shop. What I really like is that they have actual rooms with products set up. The store is huge, I am not sure of the actual footage but their are two levels including a nice cafe. I will review the cafe first.

I am a vegatarian so it it nice to have meals that I can eat. They have great deserts I like the almond cake. To wash down the meal try the lingonberry tea its pretty good. My wife who is a carnivor, enjoys the salmon and the meatballs. You can also get a cup of meatballs for a dollar at the snack bar. I also like the cinnamon rolls. You can get a roll and a cup of coffee for a dollar.

One of the cool things we like to buy from IKEA is light bulbs they have good prices. We bought a lamp and of course forgot the bulb. Bought locally for $4 for one at a local hardware store they were a reflective type. When I went to IKEA they had 2 $3. So if you buy a lamp there, buy the bulbs there too!

We also bought a nice duvet set for $5. Thats right $5....

We recently purchased over $10,000 of furniture from this company. After shopping around the Dallas area, we chose Freeds because of their local manufacturing, quick delivery, and value for the money. We ended up furnishing 3 bedrooms and bought a dozen pieces. Our sales person was very nice and he was quick to respond to us when we had questions.

We had one major issue with our furniture. We ordered some pieces from another distributor (a.k.a. - a "special order"). Special order furniture is not displayed on the floor, so you have to take your best guess on fit, look, and quality (you are only shown pictures in a catalog). Since we had taken measurements prior to shopping, we looked up the measurements of the furniture piece in the distributor's catalog and confirmed that it would fit our needs. Our sales person also reassured us that it would fit.

When the piece was delivered, we discovered that the measurement in the catalog was incorrect, and it did not fit as planned. We then called...

Gosh Martin's furniture is a really great place to do business with! Good value for the money. They are ready to work a deal; they have quality products. They offer free delivery. It is a family owned, 3 generation business. I will never shop another furniture store again as long as they are in business. Plus they will haul away your old furniture! But they do not just trash it; they set it out in front of their store. People in the neighborhood know this is free; so you get to feel good about giving someone a hand-up. I was excited to redo my sons room as they are graduating to twin beds instead of a crib and toddler bed. I found a cute cottage blue twind bed for both of my boys and a dresser w/hutch to match. The only problem was getting a helpful associate who knew what they were doing and willing to actually help me. They said that they would honor a coupon I had from a competitor and would also match a bedroom sale that the same competitor was having that weekend. But when it came down to it they took a half hour quibbling about it with the manager and phoning the competitor, the cashiers rolled their eyes while doing the discounts and did not process them correctly, when I pointed it out they were all huffy about it. Then they needed to get another approval from the manager, who was out to lunch and there was noone else to approve it, by the way they already said that they would do it and I had to make another trip out there to get it resolved.After all the headaches in the store (about 4 trips......

When I first entered the Bedding Experts store, I can't say that I was overly impressed. Don't get me wrong; there are plenty of mattresses lining the walls of the store. I guess I was expecting a trendier, attention-grabbing showroom. No matter. The Bedding Experts has more substance than style.

The Bedding Experts jingle promises to sell you a bed "where dreams come true." That promise came up a little short in my case, but only because the mattress I chose wasn't the best for me. The store personnel did an excellent job explaining the construction of the mattress, and the pros and the cons of each set I was considering.

As soon as we entered the store, the sales representative greeted us warmly and asked us a few questions about what we were looking for. He allowed me to stop and try out different sets at my own pace-never hurrying me or trying to steer me towards the most expensive sets. I love Ikea, I really do. They have great prices on housewares, and furniture and linens. Love the kitchen section, cheap bath accessories. And the plants are awesome- very affordable large selection of unique and pretty plants.

However, the floor design sucks! It is like a maze in this store! Once you get in, you dont get out unless you walk through the entire store! Sometimes, I like to be able to go in grab want I want and just leave. You can't manage that here! It is also strange not being able to see the doors or windows.

I'm surprised Ikea (right now) has only a 3.5 rating. I'm bring it UP because Ikea is AMAZING.

Affordable, ultra-modern, stylish furniture in a fun-to-shop, family friendly store with a huge selection, from plants to children's toys to frames to fabric for curtains, pillows etc. As well as every type of furniture, of course.

Did I mention there's two awesome restaurant on the first and third floor? On the first is hot dogs, cinnamon rolls, coffee etc., on the thirt, lunch dishes, cake, etc. All affordable.

The second is set up so with example rooms. The college dorm, the playroom, the family living room, the teenage girl's room...it's awesome. If you've never been here, it's a must. Even if you don't plan on buying anything, it's the funnest window-shopping shop you'll ever visit.

Definitely give yourself plenty of time to take it all in. Once your there, not only do they have so many options of everything, but they help you visualize how and where to use it ,by setting up everyroom accordinating to te item or theme.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My new furniture was delivered like the trash and I paid good money for what I got. Sofa Express bought out Klaussman's Furniture and it is now being made in China. If I had known that, I would have never bought from them. When I received my furniture, I called right away to get repair out for my chair. It took them 2 months to get them to my house. Then the repair guy even agreed with me that it was a shoddy job. Next thing you know, I'm getting a new back to my chair in the mail and I was supposed to sew it on myself. I called them and they wouldn't send someone out, because they were going out of business. I got screwed. My money is down the drain. The chair is useless. The company filed for bankruptcy. Don't do business with this company. I now know why they went out of business....

We were in the market for a dining room table and a NEW bed/Mattress for my 8 y/o.
I really wasn't looking for PUT IT TOGETHER YOURSELF furniture, so I took a chance on this LOVELY furniture store.

I was a little LEARY about their prices. I just didn;t think they were in my BUDGET.
I was SO wrong.
They had items that worked very well for my price range and made VERY WELL.

If you need to replace that mattress, I HIGHLY suggest this store.
Their prices reallly can't be beat and are TOP quality items.
