http://www.viewpoints.com/Fabric-Stores Fri, 14 Dec 2007 03:32:45 GMT Reviews about Fabric Stores http://www.viewpoints.com/Joanns-Fabrics-and-Crafts-Madison-Heights-MI-review-98591 <p>This store, and the other Joanns fabrics stores I have been to are a JOKE.  There are never enough sales people to help the customers, even on busy sale days.  If you manage to find someone to ask for help, they will quickly point you to the cutting table and make you take a number and wait for help.  Even if you don't want fabric.</p><p>The store in the winter is kept too hot.  I have almost fainted twice while shopping there.  When I asked the manager to turn down the heat, he was pretty rude and smart mouth, and "claimed" he can't control the heat.  I have seen women actually leave the store, just walk out and leave a full cart of merchandise behind because they are too warm to continue to shop.</p><p> I was leaving the store one time this summer, and the manager actually came up to me, stopped me, and smart aleckly said" what, you can't find anything to buy?"  How rude and embarassing.</p><p>I have started to go to Walmart for my fabrics and Michaels for my craft supplies.  Joanns is a joke.</p>... The staff was unresponsive to questions and seemed like they had better tings to do. The store was dark and dingy looking. It was not organized. Prices on some items that were on sale were more than twice what I could find at another store close by. Don't waste your time unless you are desperate....
