dovey says "Carpet Barn, more than just carpet!" about Carpet One Home Showcase - Falmouth, MA

Carpet One Home Showcase, or as we have always known it, The Carpet Barn is the place to go in Falmouth, MA for floors. For 10 years we have used Carpet One for all our floors. The sales people are eager to help. Occasionally the demeanor of the sales people is a little familiar. At first this was a off-putting, as I associated this casual demeanor as less than professional. But these people know what they are doing.

The people sent out to measure are courteous and quick. The sales people take the time to go through all the options and ask a lot of questions to help you make the best decision. At Carpet One you are never rushed or pressured. The estimates are prepared quickly and they are able to install in a short amount of time as well.

At Carpet One they have kitchen designers as well and a variety of tile and counter top options. We even bought our cabinets there and had them do the install. The tile work we had done was perfect! Carpet One also offers financing. It...
...

shamrockbear says "Too expensive and they play games!" about Luna Carpet & Blinds - Bellwood, IL

I needed some carpet for my basement. First, I went to Home Depot and they were very straight forward about pricing installation (set price) Padding (set price) carpet per sq yard (set pricing) and large selection. It came out to like $700-800 or so not a big basement about 25ft by 15ft or so... I thought well I give one of those big companies a call so I called Luna. They came out on time so that was fine then he takes out his samples which were horrible maybe 15-25 samples varied by price. He measured the room I told him I was looking for a beige type color and then he showed me his on "sale items" which was 5 carpets and it was a joke he said the cost was $2500 but for me its was half $1250 plus installation and everything it came out to $1600. What a rip off, I don't know how they are in business I think they sucker old people or lazy people who don't compare shopping! I do not recommend this place at all! boooo boooo ..... I felt like I was trying to be cheated............

nobebe says "Disappointed" about Luna Carpet & Blinds - Bellwood, IL

I called Luna and one of their competitors to purchase carpet for a rental unit that we own. Luna had the best carpet for the best price, so we decided to go with them, even though their competitor could provide installation the next day.

Unfortunately, that's when the problems began. I never got the first call back to confirm the installation date. Then when I called them, I was told they had just been overwhelmed that day, and were short of help. They called the next day to inform me that the carpet I had chosen was in GA and wouldn't be available for installation until a week later than initially promised. Then customer service couldn't tell me what carpet might be available for a more speedy installation, without having the saleman come out again!

So I met with the salesman the following day, was shown at least 4 samples of what was supposedly in IL, and installation was scheduled again for 2 days later.

The very next day, customer service called to day that carpet wasn't available until...
...
