My sister got married a while ago and I just walked in to the closest dress shop that I could find to get my dress altered: WORD TO THE WISE: don't, don't, don't do that- there is some sort of evil, trans-dimensional portal involved with weddings, so you should get good recommendations and possibly some holy water before giving your dress over to someone who obviously thinks you are an uncouth troglodyte who doesn't know when she's being messed with. All I needed was a one inch hem on the dress and for some reason this one inch took three months and when I went in to try it on the woman at the shop said "Oh, I decided not to hem the underskirt, I guess I'll have to keep it for another month so I can do that." After I explained that I had a wedding to go to in a week she very kindly said "That will be an extra rush fee, then." Huh. In the end I believe I was charged a dollar for each stitch of the hem and I still give the building a nasty look whenever I drive by.

I came into Enzo's looking to find the dress of my dreams and with out a doubt i found and purchased it. I experiance outstanding coustomer service and to be quite honest dont understand why people are trashing them. Enzo bridal went out of their way to make my day special for me with all the gifts i recieved it was like getting my gown for free. Especialy with the economy the way it is, they work with you inorder to help you afford the gown and services that you really want. If you treat people with respect they're bound to show you the same and girls just because your haveing a rough time dont take it out on the people trying to make your day the best it can be!

Christmas Tree Shops

Growing up in Massachusetts and spending summers on Cape Cod, I'd visit Christmas Tree Shops on a regular basis, and still do. These shops originated on The Cape with stores in West Yarmouth, Falmouth and Hyannis. Their slogan is "Don't you just love a bargain"? well who doesn't.

Since then, they've branched out considerably and are now in many locations in the Northeast which include the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York,Ohio,Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Christmas Tree Shops carry a wide variety of goods from housewares and home accents to Gormet foods and tons of holiday decorations for every season. It's a great place to find gifts at very reasonable prices, they also carry plenty of selections of gift wrap, cards, bags, boxes ...everything you could possibly need to wrap up just about anything.

They have a wonderful book selection, many best sellers,...

First, I want to start by saying that I love Albertson's. They have a great selection and great everyday low prices as well as great deals.

However, my review is on one of their employees. On Halloween, everyone dressed up - I think this is great - to get into the spirit of the holidays. Especially for employees who don't get to enjoy it with time off.

My cashier though was wearing what I felt was a very tacky and mean spirited costumes. Scary because there are too many mean, evil kids out there and here was proof that things don't change when people supposedly grow up.

She had a kick me sign on her back, a dunce cap and, as she told this bespectacled customer - she had been wearing glasses (because of course, all nerdy kids wear glasses) but they got too heavy. Look at me, her costume said, I'm playing the geeky kid.

Child hood can be difficult for those whose parents dressed them badly, or were too poor for nice clothes or actually cared about their studies or were otherwise socially...

I'm writing to warn people about the Pony Shop.

A salesman sold my wife an ill-fitting men's bike under the assurance that it would be properly fitted to her after she purchased it. It was the end of the season, and it was very obvious to me that the salesman was looking to unload any of last season's bikes.

So we bought the bike, my wife rode it a couple of times and as you can imagine, she was experiencing considerable discomfort. We brought back the bike to the same salesman who sold us a new bike seat and let us know he actually didn't know how to fit people. He told us to come back in a couple weeks so that Lou, the owner could help us.

I called Lou a couple weeks later to schedule a fitting - he was very uninterested to say the least. Lou's fitting consisted of a thirty second look at my wife on the bike and a free change of the handlebars to a heaver (ie cheaper) set. As you can imagine, that didn't work and when we called to let him know, he proceeded to diagnose...

Walmart is a store that needs no introduction. Everyone is familular with the stores and everyone has shopped there. Walmart is indeed one of the best places to find a good deal on an item. Also of course if it's a Walmart Superstore you shop at then you can get deals on anything from DVDs to groceries.

If you are looking for an American made product, you might find it hard to get at Walmart. In my experiences shopping there I would find mostly Chinese products or things made in other countries. I am always more interested in American made, but still find myself at Walmart alot. Sometimes those good deals at Walmart are hard to resist.

Overall I do enjoy my shopping experiences at Walmart. I almost always get my groceries from them because of the sales and deals they offer. Even though I shop there alot I never buy meat or produce from Walmart.

In all I would suggest Walmart for someone trying to save some money. I would not reccomend Walmart for someone buying meat or produce, or who wants...

First of all, Let me just say.. all the reviews that are positive about this "shop" either just ordered thier dress and dont know the hell they are about to pay for it... OR are close family and friends of the awful, horrible people that work there. The dress selection is great... it is the possiblity that you might never get that dress that you love and ordered that is the issue. You have enough to worry about planning your wedding!!!! You dont need thoughtless, mean, unethical people not doing what you pay them to do! and then could care less when you are upset about it. I really wish my best friend would of looked at these reviews before she went there. These reviews are NOT over reacting. Horrible, horrible service. Could care less about the customer. Once they get your money they dont give you another second thought. It is 3 wks before the wedding and the bridesmaids dresses are lost and NOBODY seems to care. I like the Kmart in WSP. It is not far from my house and easy to get to. I check out stores a lot after a major holiday. I am always out for the best deal. You can get great discounts after a holiday at the Kmart stores. When they do double coupons up to $2.00 you can get very good deals. They need to do it more often. The only down side, is they will not take internet coupons. I am sure part of the reason is that people are now scamming these coupons. It is too bad people have to wreck it for people that are actually using them properly and trying to get the best deal. I take all my coupons and spend a couple hours at the store. I get a lot of items for free and quite a few for almost free. I use the double coupons I have for cleaning products and personal products along with their adds to get the best deals. I look in the clearance isles, when ever I shop Kmart, and if I have coupons even get a better deal.

Yes it's true..Free Calls. Ok I just bought this today after much research and comparison with other like services. I LOVE it. I've been calling everyone saying "Can you hear me now?". On the Skype phone my father would say "hang up and call from a real phone- I can't hear you!". Skype was ok as long as I stood by the computer - which had to be ON for the phone to work. Skype is free to anyone in the world as long as they are a skype user too. There is a smal fee to call non Skype users and fee plans to call internationally. Skype calls were not always clear and often faded in and out. I also had to buy Skype equipment - a headset and a cell phone type phone (now for sale on Craig's List). I spent about 100.00 bucks for the phones and the 1 years service that allowed me to keep the same phone number for the year.

The Premium Outlets in Philadelphia are "ok." I find that it is much like all of the other Premium Outlet brand shopping centers. They all seem to have the same exact stores. However, when I am looking for bargains, it is one of the shopping malls I would consider. Although it is often hit or miss when I shop there, you can bet that when it is "hit" I can find tons of bargains on all different types of things. My favorite times to shop there are for the holidays. With the economy these days, you can never save enough money. I enjoy the giving aspect of the holidays and I also love to shop so even if it's a miss when I go, I still enjoy myself. The stores offer a variety of just about anything you can think of. Everything is at a cheaper price than in the regular store, sometimes it's not much but other times you find great values. It's definitely worth a look before you try to buy an item at full price in a regular shopping mall.

I usually don't look for clothes anywhere except my favorite store (New York and Company), however I needed some casual pants since the few pairs I owned finally had it. I usually don't shop at Sears since the last few years I've found it hard to know what section I belong in. Their store isn't labelled well, or at least not well enough for me to notice signs, so I don't even know what section is for me. It's rough. I bought some turtlenecks there last year, but it was just a fluke that I saw them.

Anyway this weekend my mom was looking for some clothes and shoes at Sears and I decided to look too since I had time while she tried stuff on. There were SO MANY PANTS! I swear there were 40+ racks of pants. Some were labelled with what style they were, others weren't. I'd find the rack that was labelled for the style I liked (straight leg), then I'd find my size and the pants I pulled out were often times not the same style as on the rack label. So many of the items were misplaced....

I found this store randomly, and am going to tell all of my friends about it! I found so many great things at this store. I bought some new items, and also some consigned - you really can't tell the difference, they only choose quality items, which made my experience that much better! The staff was not overbearing, but available to help when needed! I did find myself waiting for a little bit to get some help, but the store was buzzing, so I completely understood!! What a fun and exciting store. I will certainly be back!

Enzo's bridal is the worst store in Monmouth county. They are liars and cheats. I have contacted the better business on them and have also contacted the shame on you news program to do a story on their business. The executive producer from the show contacted me and we have been working on all the details to do the show and expose the FRAUD owner, steve. Everyone will soon see what horrible customer service you give and never return to your shop. In addition, I have contacted app.com about my experience there and I expect them to also run a story on what a poorly run business they have. This Walgreens in Alameda is the only pharmacy opened 24 hours. While others close at 6pm on weekends or 9pm on weekdays, this Walgreens can service you from dusk until dawn and they know this. They have a monopoly in Alameda and unless people want to drive to Highland or further out in Oakland, they're stuck with Walgreens.

This is why they do not accept any discount prescription drug cards, except their own - which is not free - but they ask if you'd like to pay into the "Walgreens discount drug card" that costs $20, just to save a few dollars per prescription. They still accept most major drug plans (like Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Health Net) but as Walgreens is non-union, union workers may be up a creek when deciding to use them or not (if their plans are accepted).

The store itself is nice, and the employees are usually helpful and respectful. It's just the policies that are frustrating, especially when they'd rather push their private club on patients instead of helping them....

There is always the reputation that things cost more in Northern California than they do in Southern California. After all, the general cost of living is more expensive (take for instance, rent and gas); so it stands to reason that groceries would be too. Except for Safeway.

Just like their Southern California counterpart, Vons, Safeway in Alameda has the standard deli, bakery, floral department, Western Union station, and lottery dispenser. And just like Vons, Safeway has its Safeway Club card (which is free to join) and has now lowered their prices to be more consumer-friendly during the hard economic times.

Having moved to Alameda in June, I realized there wasn't many choices in grocery stores. Besides Safeway, there was a Luckys (which has been gone from So. Cal. for over 10 years). Safeway is my choice because they also deliver through Vons.com, and my family can send me giftcards for it (as well as Safeway Gas) unlike Luckys. Safeway is my store for Alameda.

I loved a mom's haven. I told everyone about them and how great they were. The beginning of June I dropped off two big bags of clothes and was told to call and check up on them to see when they would be inventoried. I called numerous times and each was told they would call me back. So I decided one day that I would drive there, which was a half hour drive since I had moved, to see what was going on. To my disbelief A Mom's Haven was empty and so was their sister store My Second Closet. I couldn't find a way to get ahold of anyone and had not been called once to let me know of this change. I understand that you as a business might not have been able to stay open due to high cost, but there should have been a call made to EVERY customer. I was a loyal consigner to your store and I feel wronged. I would have gotten my clothes or I might have money waiting, who knows considering there is no way to contact you guys. It's been a long time coming but worth the wait. The brand spankin new Market Basket opened in July '09 in Chelsea and hasn't settled down for one second. It's an amazingly big store that carries a wide variety of groceries for all your wants and needs.

First off, you can choose from two size shopping carts, larger for those great big shopping trips (and also perfect for taller persons), or you have your regular cart for your average size shopping trip, nice to have choices in carts, something I never thought about before this new store opened.

Market Basket offers superior prices over many other local supermarket chains in the surrounding area. On average you can save several cents per item on many of the name brand products they carry. Their milk prices are not to be beat, a $1.69 to $1.89 for a half gallon of name brand moo juice is unheard of. At best other stores sell them for $2 dollars or more a half gallon.

Hi, I used to own a cingular phone and I carried it everywhere. Well, I got ripped off because they would not be understanding about what they said. I got stuck with a bill month after month and I would have to pay 150.00 to get it turned off. So I kept it and I payed it. Well, I do not think the cingular phone is a worthwhile project for people who get ripped off with it. I asked for it to be turned off and they did not on the certain date and I had to carry it around and use it for a whole year. Thirty five dollars a month it was to keep it, and that was too much for me. I called and called cingular and did not talk to the manager to solve and just took it like a grain of salt . We do not lose the salt of the earth to be trampled under the foot of men. So I took it like a grain of salt and I paid and got out of trouble and the God blessed me not to have a cellalar phone again. So I do not like cellular phones.
