Just need to say that I have used Union Pet Resort long before it was Union Pet Resort and I can only say that these are the most caring and compassionate people and only care about taking the best care of everyones pets. I am sure that they have bad days and get busy and things get behind but don't we all. But I can only say to anyone who may be searching for a kennel or grooming service that of the several different management/owners that I have stayed through, this is truly the best. You should not believe everything you read and check them out for yourself. You won't be sorry....

My dog died while under the care of the grooming staff at red dog inn. She was restrained by a foot long leash in a cubbie. She got very excited and agitated when a staff member entered the room and took another dog out. When the staff member returned, Daisy was dead. The owner said all the dogs get excited when someone enters the room, but why did Daisy choke herself to death? Pure negligence on their part. I implore everyone to not use the red dog inn for boarding or grooming. I would hate for anyone to go through what our family is. The incident occurred on June 23, 2008. Betsy B...

When we have to leave our dog overnight, the most important thing is that she is happy. She is very social and does not like to be away from us so we take her with us as often as possible when we travel. Town & Country is the next best option.

Our dog is happy and well-cared for while we are gone. The staff clearly have a love for animals that puts us as ease. T&C has a base rate based on the size of your dog (and thus the size of the run) and then you can pick what other services you want a la carte: walk, playtime, cuddletime, or a longer nature walk. The a la carte service is great because, as the owner, you know what your dog needs to be happy -- for our energetic border collie mix, this means a morning walk and afternoon playtime. For the budget conscious, it helps to be able to balance what you can afford with your dog's basic needs. You can also leave treats for the staff to give at various times throughout the day.

kelly is a sweetheart and leaving my dog with her it is such a wonderful feeling knowing that he will be okay!! She is loyal and loving to these animals, and deserves recognition!! Check the salon out is is AWESOME! And the bandannas make the whole experience great they are so cute, and she runs a very cleaning salon for the animals!!...

Kelly is really the greatest with my dog. She laughed when I called the first time and asked if she could do a Bichon cut. If you own a Bichon you know that finding someone to cut them correctly is hard to find. Kelly does a super job. I highly recommend you take your pets to her, you won't be disappointed.

I had Jo come and care for my cats while I was on vacation for a week. She came to my home prior to us leaving for a free consultation, and was very detailed in the information that she asked, and she was so good with one of my cats that needs insulin 2x per day. I am so happy that my family and I could go away on vacation without worrying about our pets. I am so glad to have found Jo and can't recomment her more highly!

I have been boarding with River Oaks for almost a year. Previous to this, I boarded at another local kennel who would not allow me to bring my dog's treats, toys, bed, etc...

I was referred to River Oaks by a friend who boards there. I am very happy with how clean the kennels are. I am also happy that my dog is able to go outside whenever she wants, and that she has the ability to use the large enclosed area outside to play and run.

I know that she is well cared for when I drop her off.

I have been a client of River Oak's Boarding Kennel's for over 10 years now and wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. The owners are friendly, live on the premises, and are pet owners themselves. They take great pride in keeping the kennels spotless and oder free. I have boarded with different kennels in the past where when I picked up my dogs, they reaked of urine. Not the case with this kennel! They offer inside/outside heated, air conditioned runs with a large exercise run.

One of my dogs is elderly and has a lot of issues with arthritis. The owners allow me to bring her special bedding, toys, etc. and give her the extra care she needs. They also have a list of veteranerians that are on call, should something happen with Lila while we are away. Lila, Tripps, and Jax know the Huffords well and are always very happy to see them. We just tell our dogs that they are going to "doggy day camp" and they are always excited!

I wouldn't trust anyone but the staff at Dog Day Afternoon to watch my 3 dogs. The staff loves and cares for all the dogs (and knows them by first and last name!). My dogs play in play groups all day long and then sleep in an apartment at night. Because they are staffed 24/7, I can call and check on my babies at night and I know they are safe and happy....

This place has convenient hours for pick up and drop off. I like the frequent user card. However, the place smells pretty strong of animals (more so than any kennel I have used). Also, I had a problem one time where the staff did not feed my dog the food that I took in. Needless to say, she came home and had diarrhea all over the carpet. I contacted the kennel and they said that the new staff was trained to give food if owners brought it in, but they must not have. When I told them that she had diarrhea all over my house, their response was, "I hope you have a steam cleaner." It cost me $350 to have my carpets cleaned again!...

Carrie's is a great place for boarding your babies. They are well-cared for and everyone that works there cares about the welfare of each animal. We have boarded our two babies there for several years now and have not worried about their welfare. We also have them groomed at Carrie's as well and the dogs seem to enjoy their time there....

I've left my dog at Piper Glen 7 times now and have to say, I am always comforted by how happy he seems when I come to get him. He smells great (they include a bath on pick up day) and they give you a progress report about his demeanor so you know how his stay was. They genuinely seem to love animals and care for their well being, although it is a little pricey to keep him there....

I highly recommend if you are going out of town and can't take your pets with you, to check into Paw Prints Pet Salon, it just opened in September 2007. Kelly Davis the owner is wonderful with pets, big and small. She has boarding services, reasonably priced, she will give you a tour before you are ready to book. There is an outside area for the dogs to play and run. She also does grooming/bathing/ clips nails, and paints the nails if you want. And when each dog leaves from the grooming session they leave with a pet bandanna on. Which are really cute, pet related....

I've used Petropolis Park for boarding my two little dogs for about a year and a half now. Norman and his staff are dog lovers and take care of each dog as if they were their own.

Petropolis Park is a cageless boarding/dog daycare facility which offers day care and overnight boarding. A staff member stays on the premises overnight, so the dogs are never left alone.

There are three play areas: a fenced backyard for outdoor time and a two separate indoor areas. Dogs are usually in two groups - the larger dogs and the small or older dogs. This works well for my two little ones, because the big dogs sometimes play too rough. :-)

The most important thing for me was my dogs seem happy to be there and happy when I arrive to pick them up. Norman and his staff really care about the well being of dog, and I highly recommend them for both daycare and overnight boarding.

Clear Lake Kennels in Webster TX does a wonderful job taking care of my husband's dog. He's a blue healer mix - and not very well socialized - meaning that he's a mean dog! He loves his family, but he is very territorial and aggressive. But with the staff at Clear Lake Kennels, he's a pussy cat! They play with him, bathe him, clip his nails, and he comes out almost-friendly :)...

I have worked at this kennel for three years now, and I love it. We love our clients, we do our very best for them. We do what's right for the dogs and cats, regardless of difficulty or inconvenience. We have diabetic dogs, epileptic dogs, rescue dogs, thyroid kitties, kitties that yack all the time. We've had a rat, ferrets, a show Persian, a cockatoo. Nothing is too much trouble.

And we all love our job!

John has a staff that is truly dependable, trained and skilled to take care of dogs. They provide boarding, training, grooming, daycare, and even fencing. The dogs love the day care and the staff that manages it is truly talented. The dogs are always supervised.

I think they are all miracle workers!! John Gagnon's Pet Resort should expand and have multiple locations!!

This is the first boarding facility that I have found that has human on site supervision 24/7.

It will be opening at the end of August 2007. Everything is available to pamper your pet--including comfy beds and his/her individual television. Caregivers were very friendly to my Bichon, who warms up slowly to new people. I went into Petsmart to buy dog food. When I saw the "dog hotel", I stopped in to see it. Even though it was not officially open, the employees acted very happy to give us a tour. Everything seemed state of the art and extremely dog-friendly.

Day camp is also available, with playtime, lunch, nap time and more play.

This was a wonderfully pet care facility. They provide boarding, classes, and daycare. They are not very expensive. They provide wonderful care for a great price. Very friendly staff. They are located, not far off the highway. Answered all my questions by email, which was the easiest form of communication for me....
