I am on week 17 with the Medi Clinic Program and I'm down 72 lbs! It really is an amazing program. It's not as hard as you would think it would be to stay on track either. The program really does bring about a lifestyle change- I feel better eating this way and I could not be happier! I had a hard time swallowing the price tag when I started the program but it is SOOOOOO worth it! Just thinking about all the $$$ I threw away on fad diets and so called miracle pills before I found Medi makes me cringe. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about weight loss and making a lifestyle change.

This diet has pros and cons. Pros would be:

1. Ease - buy the products, eat the products, lose weight.
2. Effectiveness - I lost 5 pounds in about 10 days.

Cons would be:

1. The cookies are AWFUL. First, they aren't really cookies - they are really, porrly made scones. They have this spongy consistency that turns to sludge as you try to eat them. No amount of water changes that. You can eat them with water, creating pasty mush in your mouth that is easier to swallow. And contrary to what the maker says, you will never get used to it or crave them.
2. Palm Oil is used in the cookies - last time I checked, Palm Oil was a high source of saturated fat. If you microwave a cookie for 10 second, then wrap it in a napkin and press it, it leaves an oily stain.
3. The first ingredient in the soup is maltodextrin. I am allergic to maltodextrin in high quantities, so I can even eat the soup. My wife ate it - it tastes like water with some flavor that she couldn't define, obviously...

I recently moved from Kenosha WI, to Randolph Vt. BIG CHANGE. But my weight had changed also over the last few years due to family issues and alot of heavy duty stress. I wanted to quit smoking, loose weight, become a healthier eater, go more vegetarian, exercise regularly, and become alot more "eco" friendly. It wasn't until my husband told me that there was a Curves Center right by what was going to be our new apartment. (He moved first, to get things settled). I was all excited, and also had realized why I always failed at the things I wanted to do most. I TRIED DOING THEM ALL AT ONCE! WAY TO OVER WHELMING! So if you have this problem, start one at a time. Mine was smoking. That went pretty well, 3 months and still going strong. Now diet and exercise. Ive been with Curves for about 4 mos. now but just seriously got into it in Feb. I didn't get the old membership book, but I did get the new one that just came out in Jan. 09. There are 2 diet choices, high protein and high carb....

This is my second day. A little tough, I miss my veggies and fruit. Not really extremely hungry, just have had a headache everyday. I only take 1/2 of appetite suppressant twice a day due to the headaches and light headedness. Also tired - No burst of energy yet. I am going to get another mixed shot this week.

Did anyone else have any of these symptoms? If so, how long did it last?

I am excited about the positive feedback I have heard and quick weight loss - but need to feel better (headaches).

Help????

Let me say that i have been on and off weight watchers, pre and post baby weight. It is the most sensible way to lose weight, hands down. I have tried so many diets -- i should write my own book. Furthermore, the weight watchers at the freehold mall is one of, if not the, best. The leaders are all exceptional -- but Amy is hands down numero uno. she is kind, funny and inspirational. On top of all of this, she is a real person with real kids, a real life and a real personality. No other leader has been able to reach me the way she does. going to her meetings is sort of like going to a comedy club. she can make you laugh, cry, and almost pee your pants. run, dont walk, to weight watchers and make sure you ask for amy as a leader. I have lost forty pounds and i owe it all to her....

I found LA Weight Loss to be a very, very expensive ride. On top of my yearly fee of $700.00, I had to pay for the LA Lite bars, or other supplements, food etc. seperately, it wasn't included! If I have to spend so much on a program, and then pay extra for my meals at home, and the extras, I think that is a complete rip-off.
Staff can be friendly at times, but there are also a lot of grumps. Wait times for you counsellor meeting are pathetic. I very much disliked the "sign in" system to meet with a counsellor. I think that people should be given an appointment time and with a constant counsellor, not whoever is finished first....

I have been going to the Medi weight loss clinic on 54 in Lutz. I have lost 27 pounds in 7 weeks! It is taking some work, but I am definitely seeing the results. It is Doctor monitored, but you can only have 500 calories a day. You are on appetite suppressants, fat burners, and vitamins. You need to drink a lot of water, moniter your eating, and excercise. I have been very pleased with the quick results. It is pricey though - so you need to be committed to sticking to the program.

I love Weight Watchers! It is the simplest program to follow, even if you a snacker! I am a lifetime member after 12 weeks! I lost 20 pounds in that time and am still trying to lose 5-10 more. I have to attend the West Jordan center once a month to maintain my lifetime status. Sometimes I have gained a few pounds, and they are always so helpful and positive. It makes me want to keep trying instead of giving up! Thes ladies (and a few guys) are the best!! They motivate, inspire, counsel, console, and keep me going!!!...

I have tried every weight loss plan and pill available and I would lose none or a little then it would come right back. I have lost 45 lbs with The New You Weight Loss Clinic. It is a combination of Dr supervised prescription diet pills, 2 B vitamin shots per week, herbal weight loss pills and twice a week weigh in with Fat/Lean analysis. I have 15 more pounds to go. I have always eaten when happy, sad, mad, depressed, sick, etc. I would snack without even realizing i was eating. This program has stopped that. I also don't think about food all the time like I used to....

L A Weight Loss is a scam. I joined L A Weight Loss "convinced" by the so-called "trained counselor" I would lose weight. After spending $600 to sign up, I was then pressured into purchasing supplements, LA lite bars and weight loss drinks. I was not told I would be required to purchase anything additional to "aid" me in my weight loss. I called LA Weight Loss to cancel my membership, hoping I could get some of my money refunded.( I decided to cancel my membership because I was starving on the plan, it was too expensive, I hated the high pressure sales, and I am about to have surgery and money is tight.) I was told by a "counselor" she would forward my folder to her manager and the manager would call me back. A week went by and I did not receive a phone call. I called the center again and fortunately the Area Sales Manager answered the phone. I explained my situation to her and specified that I do not want to come back to the center. Plus I am having surgery and would be recovering for......
