We have been customers of Pearle Vision at the Independence Mall for several years and wouldn't consider trusting our eyeglass/contact lens business to anyone else. The staff there are not clerks, they are experienced eye-care professionals who ensure you get the right lenses and a flattering frame. — — The customer service we receive from long-time Pearle staffers, Lynn, Matt and Pam, is exceptional in its attentiveness, friendliness, professionalism and expertise. And that service goes beyond the initial purchase. They are always happy to clean our glasses, replace a screw or make a quick repair or adjustment— usually quickly and free of charge. — — In this day of surly, indifferent sales people, long waits at cash registers and incompetent revolving door employees, a visit to Pearle Vision in the Independence Mall is a refreshingly different experience. — — We highly recommend trusting YOUR eye-care to the Pearle Vision at...

I am so steamed at the ShopKo optical department in Appleton WI. — My husband and I had eye appointments yesterday to get the "yearly eye exam" (mostly because my eyes have been bothering me and I knew it was time for (EEEEEEK) bi-focals. I am truly fine with having to move into different glasses in order to see better and so I can see better at work. (I work with computer hardware (little computer components I need to be able to read the tiny print on the components)...the little components that go into games, medical equipment, life support, breaks and other items I can't say)). It was time to be able to see an "action board" and my computer all at the same time for the better. — Never in my life have my husband and I witnessed something like this at all. We saw the doctor and she did what she had to do and asking my husband we both liked her and felt she has been the best eye doctor we have ever seen in the past, but...

we bought glasses for our toddler here. we chose this place from one of many on our insurance company's website. the reason we chose it was that the doctor on the site seemed really into children. we assumed because of his work and philosophy that the business would also be really great with children. we also chose this place because of the on-site lab so that we would be able to get the glasses a lot quicker than the typical seven to ten business days. well, it took about eight days to get the glasses. to begin with, there was not much to choose from in the toddler section. after the glasses came in, the person that is supposed to fit the eyeglass wearer, just plopped them onto our kid and said they looked fine. we got home and they were falling down our kids nose. we have been back to the business about five times now and they still dont fit well. the lady said, just tighten the eyeglass chain behind your kids head. ...

I am new to Chicago so I had to find a laser/lasik doctor without a recommendation. All roads pointed to Dr. Coleman Kraff and the Kraff Eye Institute. I had never had any surgery of any kind before, so I was a bit apprehensive, but the staff totally put me at ease. It was actually a fascinating procedure. It was quick, and for me, almost completely painless (the procedure itself does not hurt, but many people experience comfort afterwards). I had very mild discomfort/burning in one eye for a couple of hours and that was it. By the next day, I was seeing great. Now, nearly three months later, my vision seems nearly perfect. After 20 years of glasses and contacts, it is so amazing to wake up every morning and actually be able to see. No more toting solution, glasses, contact cases, etc. everywhere. It is pricey, but they do offer some corporate discounts, and some people opt to finance it. The professionalism and outcome...

I bought my Versace eyeglasses at Pearl Vision located at 1422 Washington Street in Hanover, MA. In the past I’ve gone to Pearl Vision located at 101 Independence Mall Way in Kingston, MA. — I have had extremely positive experiences in both locations. During my most recent visit I bought a pair with both progressive and Transitions Lenses (Transitions go from light to dark.) I first went looking in Kingston and probably had 25 pair of glasses that I was trying on. The woman helping me was very patient, helping me find glasses that I might like and telling me what she did and didn’t like. — I couldn’t find the right pair so I headed to Kingston. This Pearl Vision is independently owned which meant that they had some different glasses and were able to put my prescription in a smaller frame which the Kingston location couldn’t do. — Matt who had helped me at one point in Kingston was surprisingly in Hanover on the day I...

Last fall my mom saw my eyeglasses (Versace, progressives, transitions) and loved them. She had just bought a pair and really didn’t like them. I asked if she got them at Pearl Vision or Lens Crafter. I go to Pearl Vision and love the guarantee. Don’t like them? They’ll give you a new pair. I’ve never taken them up on this but it’s nice to know I could. — — In any case I suggested my mom go to Cove Optical located at Cove Shopping Center, 1609 S.E. 3rd Court in Deerfield Beach, Florida where she had bought the glasses. The owner, David Hayon, a licensed optician is located next to the ophthalmologist she sees. — — She did go back and told me that Mr. Hayon does not have a return policy. In addition though her glasses are transitions apparently the process used is not as good as the one I have since they don’t get as dark as they should. — — I am visiting my mom.
I had pretty bad vision since I was in 3rd grade. About 5 years ago, after watching many people around me get Lasik, I decided to take the plunge. Because this was an elective surgery that in rare cases, could cause damage to my eyes, I decided to find the absolute best doctor for the job. I chose Dr Coleman Kraff and he was amazing to watch. Very confident, poised, fast, and focused....well like a laser. — The entire experience was an A+ If you are considering Lasik surgery, you should consider the The Kraff Eye Institute. — From their web site — Laser vision correction works by sculpting the cornea so that the light rays focus on the retina, thereby reducing or eliminating the refractive errors described above. It cannot correct a condition called presbyopia, or the natural aging of the eye. Presbyopia typically effects people over the age of 40 and results in the need for reading...
