Since then, I've been very careful to get my children in to see kinder and gentler dentists. That is exactly what I've found at Athens Dentistry for Children. They are simply wonderful with children. Even my 2 year old sat in the chair and let his teeth be cleaned without a peep. Of course, not all children are as comfortable, but I've watched them deal with even the most difficult of children. The assistants, xray operator and both dentists have made me actually look forward to taking my kids to see the dentist. —  The office is designed so that everything is very open.  You are not closed off in a room by yourself waiting on the dentist to see you. I have not yet seen the room in which they may do more extensive work, but the cleaning area is a very fun place to be. There are balloons blown up floating on the ceiling and each chair that the children... Fortunately I text messaged a US Secret Service Agent on L ST NW in The District of Columbia because I had his phone number in my cell and had spoken with him earlier in the week about the process for obtaining a press pass. The hospital made every effort to cover up the attempt on my life. —  I was visiting my 97yoa grandmother at CAMC Charleston General Hospital in Oct 07and spent the night in her semi private room. The next morning I walked into the hall on the 3rd floor and had a gun pointed at my face and placed on the skin of my cheek by a woman in scrubs. I was astonished at his awesome bedside manner. Not only is he wonderful in his unique ways of treating your symptoms and problems, but how he treats you as a person as well. — After the initial meeting with him, we found out that we attend the same church! As so does his receptionist. This explained it all to me! He has the love of Christ in his heart, which radiates through his words, his hands and his care for you. He even went as far as to call me after my second visit at home to see how I was doing! To me, this was far above my expectations. I only heard of this kind of doctors when my grandparents use to tell me those "back when I was a kid" stories. — I have never been to a Chiropractor until this meeting of Dr. Duran. I have been so comfortable with her, I can tell her anything or ask anything and I'm not embarassed at all. She cares about her patients 110%. I truely wish she was a regular family doctor who does it all because you couldn't ask for better bedside service or attentiveness. If you're from the area I highly recommend checking her out, if you're lucky she's accepting new patients because she is the best that is out there. Now that we had our last baby (6 months ago) I don't get to see her as much, only once a year. But I'm more then welcome to visit her for lunch she said....that's the type of person she is...the...
