dallinashby says "STM Rogue is the best backpack for your laptop!" about STM Bags 13" Small Rogue Backpack

I needed a new bag for school and found my STM Rogue laptop bag at a campus bookstore sale. It took me a good 10 minutes to check out all of the features and afterward, couldn't help but buy it! I have a pretty expensive laptop and, as anyone with a laptop knows, it can be tricky keeping it protected and happy. This bag has a snug pocket for the lap top that is situated between the main compartment for textbooks and the such, and the other, smaller compartments designed for pencils, calculator, and other sundry items. This laptop pocket is sewn such that when the bag is on the ground bottom down, the laptop is suspended above the ground by a few centimeters. This way, if you drop your bag, or just set it down roughly, you won't bump your laptop. Also, the storable rainfly, which stows in the bottom of the bag, is very handy when outside in inclement weather. I feel very confident that my laptop is safe in this bag, and that piece of mind is well worth every penny I paid for my STM Rogue...
...

smackson says "This is the coolest bag I've ever had the pleasure of carrying." about Gurren Lagann: Brigade Messenger Bag

Gurren Lagann is an amazing anime. As a television show, on a scale from one to ten, I would definitely rate it at a ten. My friends and I all agree that this show has changed our lives. We are all much manlier for watching it.

The bag displays just how epic Gurren Lagann can be. Sure, it's a flaming skull, but it's more than a flaming skull: it's the symbol of the continuous evolution of the human race, the symbol that freedom will never die, and the symbol of simply the Gurren Brigade, the group of people who brought mankind back to glory. Of course, if you haven't seen this television show, it's just a flaming skull on a black messenger bag.

It's of decent size, and it holds enough stuff without breaking the heck apart and spewing your books all over the floor. You don't generally get laughed-at as much for having a satchel with a skull on it over having one with some stupid-looking "moe" character.
...

treasure60 says "You get plenty of life out of this book pack" about L.L. Bean Junior Original Book Pack

I have been purchasing LL Bean book packs since my oldest son started kindergarten in 1985. I have to tell you that my oldest son used his first book pack until he out grew it and got his next book pack in 8th grade. My son still has it to this day. When my oldest grandson was about to start kindergarten and instead of buying cheap imitations and the character book packs, I decided I wanted my grandson to have a book pack that would stand the test of time as his father's backpack did.

I went to the LL Bean in Freeport, Me and to decide on the best size pack for my grandson which was the Junior Original Book Pack for children ages 4 & up that cost was $19.50, I got free monogramming and shipping since I have a LL Bean credit card. You will get it delivered to you in just 3-5 days. I got it monogrammed with his first name on the front. This pleased him immensely.

LL Bean Boat & Tote bags are durable and quality workmanship. I bought my first Boat & Tote about 20 years ago. I don't have it anymore, but I gave it to my daughter-in-law who uses it as a diaper bag. I have bought several over the past 20 years for gifts to family and friends. I put any other gift inside the Boat & Tote bag with gift tissue hiding the present.

I love the color choices and especially the fact that they can be personalized. I take mine to work every day. The fabric is made of canvas making it sturdy and it holds it's shape which makes it easy to load and unload. Durability wise its top rated, along with the design. These bags are virtually indestructible. I have never had one wear out. You can't beat the price, they are affordable. They are light colored and will in time get dirty. If the spot isn't to bad I damp a cloth and wipe it away, if not then I put is through the wash.

There are so many uses for these bags; for carrying everything from papers,...
...

I am a college student who is very hard on her book-bags. I wanted to use Jansport because they are so well known for having great book-bags that are heavy duty and will replace them if there is a problem. I love this Trans book-bag by Jansport. There are water-bottle holders on each dies of the bag. A bunch of different compartments for anything and everything. There is even a laptop space for your laptop, and it holds it nice and safe. I love the fact that it holds up in the washer as well, I had to wash it after I spilled coffee all over it one morning. All of the liners and everything are still doing great. I have had this bag for over a year and a half and still using it everyday. I plan on keeping it and using it for a few more years, it looks brand new.
...

This Jansport Daypack is a great bag holds lots of stuff many pockets throughout and has a heavyduty zipper, great for hiking it is much easier on your back than some bags as they don't distribute the weight evenly as this Jansport daypack does, spouse is very happy with this bag, owned other brands of bags that had zipper failure when a little overstuffed but not this Jansport bag, holds up very well to be stuffed with all kinds of things, but would like to caution the people who do not like to have to look for their things like I said before lots of pockets which makes it hard to remember where you put certain things, best advice for this problem try not to scatter your things around in the bag use as few pockets as possible so as to not lose track of your stuff, then it works out just right and no problems, there is even a hydration sleeve in this bag for those who would like to add a hydration tube to the bag, tube does not come with bag, but it does have two mesh pockets for your drinks...
...

Dickie's student backpack is stylish and tough! it has one main compartment, for your books, and one front compartment for pencils, and small books. It is made out of a tough material, and comes with a lifetime warranty, that you would expect from Dickie's. It is the perfect size for grabbing with one hand and running out the door. It comes in many different designs, that almost anyone could find one pefect for them.

I have not found any cons to this backpack. I am an adult and it is pefect for me. I would think since it is on the smaller side it would be perfect for smaller kids too. The tough construction is also perfect for teens and children, since they may be ion the tough side with it, swinging it around and throwing it.
...

Before I started my first year of law school, I decided that I needed to find a quality backpack that would not make carrying my books to school unbearable. While conducting my research on backpacks, I first looked at the higher end ones, that are in the $100+ price range. These backpacks lacked either the space, comfort or quality that I expected for the price. I found the high sierra swerve and fell in love instantly. The backpack has adequate space to store at least two law textbooks, in addition to a laptop, notebooks and my nicknacks. The backpack has very thick straps that are comfortable and very adjustable. I have a smaller frame and this backpack fits me perfectly. I also think that it would fit someone with a larger frame well also. The bag has vents on the back so the backpack can breathe. In addition, it has a great laptop storage compartment that securely holds your computer. While some people may not like having multiple storage compartments, I really like being...
...

Against my inner voice, I strayed from LL Bean and bought my son a Jansport Superbreak wheeled day pack. With L L Bean, when there is an issue, you can return the item for an exchange or refund, no questions asked. Jansport has a lifetime guarantee, but you have to ship the damaged/broken day pack to the. This is 1) not cheap if you live across the country from their headquarters as I do and 2) for 4-6 weeks, you have no back pack. Why is this relevant? I bought my son a Jansport Superbreak wheeled day pack and within a few months, the nylon ripped around the edges of the pack from the wear and tear. I had to return the pack and wait. Jansport did send a brand new replacement but not in the original color. Well, six months later, we have the same issue with the replacement back pack. I don't expect this poor quality when I paid over $70.00 for the product in the first place. I should have bought from L L Bean and I wouldn't have had these issues.

Very disappointed!
...

The Hartmann Tweed mobile traveler is a very sturdy and dependable piece of luggage. When I started working in consulting back in the 90's I purchased the mobile traveler and the garment bag (the garment bag was primarily used for international trips). Over the course of 750K miles flown the bag has held up well. My biggest complaint was that one of the brass screws came loose and was lost during one of my trips...after I contacted Hartmann they shipped me a replacement screw that I was able to install with no trouble. The bag is sized to be acceptable to the airlines (even with the recent, more stringent size guides). On most of the newer planes the bag can be positioned so that it fits in wheels first (reducing the required footprint size). I personally find the tweed pattern to be visually appealing and believe that it is sufficiently distinctive that I rarely end up snagging the incorrect bag when I am forced to check my luggage. I am attaching a picture of the bag if you would like......

I bought the Norht Bace Borealis Laptop bag (backpack) to transfer my 16" screen laptop and files to and from work. I also pack my daily essentials and lunch in the pack. My laptop does fit but without ANY extra room. This is the largest laptop that you could use this pack for. I also use this pack when I travel for business, both car and plane travel. It has worked out well so far as it is convenient to pull out my laptop and has plenty of extra pockets for all of my things. The laptop is also protected by a layer of padding on the bottom of the pack so that you don't have to fear setting this bag on the ground. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and I haven't had any back pain with this pack. It also comes in a variety of colors to suit eveyones style. The colors seem to be true to how they look on the web. This is a great pack for daily items but I would consider upgrading to the next larger size if you plan to use it on extended trips or have a large number......

I received some excellent looking Lands End luggage for Christmas this year and it couldn't have been more perfect timing. My sister and I are always traveling back to Boston during the holidays to visit the fam so we use our luggage a bunch of times throughout the year. We have had the same luggage for the past 10 years now and needless to say... both of our bags were getting fairly run down. Each one had suffered broken straps, tears in the seams, bent handles, shattered plastic and way to much more. Upon receiving my new Lands End bag this year I was excited to travel back with something that would hopefully make my life (and traveling) a whole lot easier. Unfortunately, it wasn't necessarily so. I NEVER check my bags when I fly... if my Dad has to wait more than 10 minutes at the airport to pick us up he is not a happy camper (sorry Dad). Plus, I have had my bags lost before and it can take days to get it back. So, on the flight back from Boston, I excitedly rolled my bag onto the...
...

These x-cases are great!! They come in lime green , strawberry, red, cobalt blue, yellow, purple and teal. They are very light as advertised, and they are great for kids going on short trips. The wheels light up, which is an extra bonus. We bought this primarily for toting around ice skates and skating stuff. If you are using these for ice skating, you will want to get a larger case. These cases are 18 inches. I would opt for the 20 inch case. My daughter wears a size 4.5 ice skate, and they barely fit in the x-case . We will need to get a new larger case next year, when she grows out of her skates. This case would be great for a small child who skates. It saves you quite a bit of money compared to the Zuca bags. The x-cases also have a five year warranty. My daughter loves it. There is a zippered compartment inside for toiletries too. It is built well, and very mod looking. ......

I discovered Brynn's handbag line at GenArt SHOP Chicago. She has great bags! Best of all they are all handmade in Chicago. They are not mass produced. The good news is that I can sport my bag around town and know that I will not run into a million women carrying it!

Perfect for my job and going out with friends!

I will be buying more from her online soon!

The new wristlet bags are super cool. I think I see one in my near future!
...

Traveling with a three year old is an event no matter how you look at it. Anything that makes travel easier is always a major win. The 29in wheeled traveling duffel by High Sierradefinitely makes packing easier. This duffel has is more like two sided luggage with the convenience of a duffel - lightweight and stuffable. The duffel has a sturdy zipper that allows the duffel to open like luggage while keeping your items secure. There is a zippered compartment on one side that keeps your items from falling out when you open it up. Because you can open it like luggage, it is so easy to pack and separate your items. On the outside there are 2 additional zippered compartments: one at the top for a larger item like shoes two zippered compartments on one side a larger and smaller one to get to items quickly, Additionally, there are straps that help keep everything held together tightly.

If you appreciate being able to travel and keeping luggage to a minimum, then the 29in wheeled traveling...
...

lilsquibb says "Like a Mini-Personal Assistant - Cabela's Ripcord Shower Kits" about Cabela's Ripcord Shower Kit

While on vacation, you could just pack your hygiene stuff in your regular suitcase, but it's always smaller stuff. It's also inevitable that something will be needed while en route to the destination and sifting through a huge suitcase is not ideal. I've been through several different personal-hygiene bags in my time. Several years ago, it was my sister who found a great new bag to use from one of our favorite stores – Cabela's. Now we all have matching hygiene bags with the Cabela's Ripcord Shower Kit.

Fashion and Variety

Available in 5 different colors as well as camo (of course) the Ripcord shower kit comes in three different sizes, Large, X-Large and Magnum. The Shower Kit looks great to take along and can matach your luggage collection – just ignore the large Cabela's logo on the front. I believe the one I have is the large. The Shower Kit is designed from heavy duty ripstop material, which makes it not only durable but easy to clean.

Pockets, Pockets, Pockets Galore...
...
