These lock and lock bowls are some envention. They are so functional and durable. They can be used for storing all kinds of foods in the fridge. They are especially good for storing fruits and vegtables. They keep them fresh for alot longer. I have tried it and they pass the test. The air tight and water tight seal is the secret. These bowls will keep all kinds of chips and crackers fresh too. They are also good for mixing when you are baking. These bowls hold up very well.

They are dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe. They are stain resistant too.The lid has 4 tabs that are very easy to lock down. And my favorite thing about them is, if you drop them, the lid will not pop open. I have had that happen a few times.

This bowls are a great addition in anyone kitchen. They come in an array of colors and all shapes and sizes. This paticular set comes with 3 sizes of bowls,2 of each.It comes in a 1quart bowl, 1 1/2 quart bowl and a 2 quart bowl.

They also have a lifetime warrenty.Everything good is all...
...

dcg says "I love it!!" about Pampered Chef Classic Batter Bowl

I love this batter bowl! It is so easy to mix batters of all kinds in, and when you have some left over all you have to do is put the cover on it and place it in the refrigerator. After using it for a mixing bowl you can also use it to pour the batter or liquid out using the handy spout they have designed into the bowl. Also the way the handle is formed makes it very easy to pick up and pour from. I can't say enough about this batter bowl. I only witsh they made it in different sizes. I don't always need such a large bowl to mix in, when it is just the two of us. This bowl also cleans up very easily. I rinse it out, to remove any extra batter and then place it right in my dishwasher. How easy is that!!! Nothing seems to stick to it. If you ever have a chance to purchase one of these magnificant bowls you should find a way to gather the funds to do so and get it. You will not know how you ever did without it. I wasn't going to purchase this but I'm glad I did, I use it...
...

I have always wanted a Great looking, durable Pepper Mill & Salt Shaker. I was Holiday shopping last year, found the perfect set, exactly the kind of have been wanting the price was right. With discounts and coupons this Olde Thompson set was right up my alley. It has a brushed Stainless Steel look which goes with just about any decor, plus this set has a lifetime guarantee ~ perfect and sold. I'm surprised, but then again not really how heavy the set pieces are. Not lightweight or cheap feeling. Feels like quality.

As a wedding present some 27 years ago, we received a nice wooden one set which we still use. Just always refilling it, it's on the small side which was fine when we were first married as our family had grown, we've out grown it years ago. I will still keep it as it is sentimental, that's me through and through.

This Olde Thompson Metal set has a Carbon Steel Grinder, and should it ever fail will be repaired or replaced without charge. As long as it wasn't caused by improper...
...

njchicaa says "I'm very happy with my Sigg Aluminum Water Bottle!!" about Sigg Water Bottle

I've been wanting a Sigg Water Bottle for several months now, but I kept balking at the $30 price tag at the local Target. Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled when I received one as a gift last month and have been using it faithfully almost every day since then.

The Sigg Water Bottle is an aluminum bottle that can be used (and reused) to hold water, iced coffee, iced tea, juice, and other drinks. It has a special coating on the inside to both prevent the absorption of the flavors of the liquids contained and to prevent the liquids from acquiring a metallic taste from the bottle itself. This Aluminum Water Bottle is not dishwasher safe which is inconvenient. It also has a plastic mouth, plastic top, and plastic threads to connect the two. If you aren't careful, you can very quickly strip the threads if you don't pay close attention to how you put the top on.

I drink at least one liter of water at work each day between 7 and 2pm. I used to just hit up the local convenience...
...

asketcher2 says "Pampered Chef Classic Batter Bowl is terrific!" about Pampered Chef Classic Batter Bowl

I am not much of a cook, so when i do go into the kitchen to do some cooking I want to get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I have found this batter bowl measuring cup from Pampered Chef to be terrific.

The lid fits tightly enough that I do not have to worry about it spilling in the refrigerator. The sides of the bowl are very clearly marked, so I do not have a hard time reading the measurements. This bowl is especially good for making pancake batter or waffle batter the night before and putting in the refrigerator overnight, so it will be ready the next morning. My husband loves making hummingbird food in it.

It is microwave safe. It is very thick and sturdy. I don't feel that if I accidently dropped it that it would break. The handle is big and easy to grab and hold onto. The bowl can go into the dishwasher, but I have never put the lid in the dishwasher.

While it is a little high in price, it is now one of those staples in my kitchen that I would not be without.
...

this2shallpass19 says "I really wanted to like this eco-friendly product but....." about Scott Naturals Napkins

Whenever I have options, I always try to buy the eco-friendly version of something as long as it isn't unreasonably priced. For Thanksgiving this year, I went to the desert with friends. As I did my shopping for the trip, I was searching the paper towel aisle for napkins made from recycled paper. There weren't very many to choose from, but Scott Naturals Napkins were both reasonably priced and made from recycled ingredients, so I chose them.

I like that you get 120 napkins in a package, and I also like that these napkins are made from 80% recycled fiber. Unfortunately, those are all the positive comments I have for Scott Naturals Napkins. Not only are these eco-friendly napkins one-ply, but they are unbelievably thin. They are so thin, they require several of them to do the job that a regular napkin can do in one. As soon as they get wet, they shrivel up and become totally useless.

I'm all for eco-friendly products, but if they don't work well, I won't bother. Unfortunately,...
...

nedsballs88 says "Great and Eco Friendly" about Go Green Extra Large Tall Kitchen Bags

In our household, we recycle everything we can. This leaves only food, food wrappings as waste, and diapers, so it seemed quite logical to try a biodegradable bag to allow our largely biodegradable trash to do just that. The dispenser box is quite handy, no more running to the garage to grab a handful of bags for individual trash cans. The bags themselves are somewhat thin, but when buying something that is intended to degrade quickly one cannot expect tarp like durability. The bags take a fair amount of weight, however they do not take well to stretching. There is one wonderful, unintended benefit that we noticed: these bags, when tied, seem to contain the stench from a week of our diaper champ's services. The previous trash bags we used, although they were thicker, allowed the powerful diaper smell to escape throughout the walk to the outdoor trash can.

This is truly a great product, good price, and good product. Worth the money. I highly recommend this product for your home if you...
...

liftgate says "One of the main baking items in your kitchen" about Reynolds Parchment Paper

I was in the resturant and food industry for over 40 years and Parchment paper

was one of our got to have on hand items. It makes clean up a breeze. If there is

something you are baking in the oven then you should be using parchment paper.

Use is to line all your pans for baking anything . If you want perfect bacon go buy

a 1/2 sheet pan and line it with parchment and then lay out your bacon on it and bake

at 400 degrees. You can bake it to be fully cooked or just 1/2 done and then you can

finish it in a pan later on or the next day or as you need it. Hint If you know any

body that has a resturant try to get them to sell you a few sheets as they buy them

a 1000 sheets at a time. you can cut them to the size you want and really save.

(NOTE. WHEN COOKING BACON IN THE OVEN MAKE SURE YOU SET YOUR

TIMER TO CHECK ON THE BACON AS ONCE IT STARTS TO GET CLOSE TO

The batter bowl is one of those things you wouldn't figure you'd love so much, until you have it in your kitchen and you reach for it all the time. It is just the right size and shape for mixing up smaller doughs... muffin mix, brownies, quick bread... basically I use it for things that I am going to stir by hand (I wouldn't use an electric mixer with it since it is glass). It is also great for beating eggs to make scrambled eggs, or for pancakes or french toast batter. If I am cooking in the morning, whether it is baking something or making pancakes or eggs, I use this bowl. The lid is nice as you can mix something up ahead of time and pop it in the fridge till you're ready to cook it. I also like that this is an 8 cup measuring cup, which comes in handy if you are making large batches or making soup. The spout is arranged in a way that it doesn't drip much. You can even bake in this vessel!
...

I have tried a lot of fabric softeners but this is the best by far. I not only have fresh smelling laundry but the smell lingers in the house and it is very pleasant. I did laundry a week ago and it still smells great. It is so soft that I enjoy getting dressed. Maybe I use a little more that it says but I have done that on the other brands that I have tried and none of them have had the results I got with this one. I will tell all my friends to use this fabric softener. I really love the final results. It smells so fresh every time I move it is like a breath of fresh air even after a week I take clothes out and they smell like they just came out of the dryer. Everyone should try this fabric softener I am sure you will feel the same as I do. If you would like to put a fresh smell through the house in the winter put a little an a tissue or a cloth and place it in the air ducts it will curculate the smell.
...

If you're a container collector as I am then you'll love these IKEA BURKEN JARS for sure.

These have become an essential in my kitchen, I store all kinds of things in them as they come in three sizes to accommodate many different uses.

The 4 inch x 4 inch 17 ounce size is perfect to store ground coffee, the aluminum lid has a silicone rubber airtight seal on all jars so everything stays fresh inside.

The 4 inch x 7 inch 37 ounce size can hold anything from flour, sugar, oatmeal, cornmeal, dry beans, anything really. The wide mouth makes it easy to get in and out with a scoop or measuring cup.

I use the 5 inch x 9 inch 74 ounce size to store my kitchen utensils like wooden spoons, whisks, spatulas and the like. It's very handy and convenient to see everything inside at a glance.

Quick View: The As Seen on TV Onetouch Automatic Can Opener 29101 is a battery operated can opener that actually opens cans by itself, shuts off by itself, and supposedly lifts can lips up and out of the cans with ease. I found it works on normal sized cans but not on smaller or larger ones very well. It's noisy and slow too.

My Take on the As Seen on TV Onetouch Automatic Can Opener 29101

I bought this gadget when I saw it on a deal a day site for around $11.00 shipped. The hype was that it opened all cans with just a touch of a button, lifted the lids up with its magnet, and took no space on the counter. I liked all that but it turns out that the claims were inflated.

This hand held unit does latch onto normal (vegetables, dog food, fruit) cans and it "walks" itself around the lid. It does seem to lift those lids up with its magnet and the lids nor the can edges are sharp. The unit is noisy and slow though and has a 20 second cycle no matter what the size of the can.

I have a GE high efficiency washer and dryer with a feature called "SmartDispense". The laundry detergent and fabric softener get added to the wash automatically while the washer is running -- I don't have to do a thing. This fabric softener says it's concentrated, and some other reviewers have said they prefer to use more, so with my machine, it works out perfectly. All I do is program the SmartDispense feature to use a "normal" amount of softener and the softness and frgrance come out exactly right.

Did I mention the scent is wonderful? It stays in the clothing really well, so much so that when I pick up my 18-month-old, I can smell it. FINALLY! A softener with some staying power! I've used Downy "Midnight Expressions", which smells great in the bottle, but once the clothing is stored the smell completely disappears. This scent is lovely, not too loud, and truly makes you happier to get dressed. (Imagine the commercial where the consumer is smelling their clothing and smiling... yeah...)...
...

I started drinking more water because the doctor said my dehydration could be causing my awful frequent headaches. I had previously owned a Nalgene but had recently heard that those (older ones) were leaking chemicals into the liquids inside. Frustrated with buying plastic water bottles when I would go to the gym - because I hate how costly they are and how bad for the environment they are - I decided to search for a new solution.

A friend had mentioned her love for her new-found Sigg bottle. Although they used to be apparenly another culprit for chemical leaks, they had made a turn around and have recently become BPA-free (not leaking chemicals). It was easy to find a bottle that was lightweight, portable and totally stylish! I was also impressed with how fresh the water tasted when even sitting in the bottle for hours.

I really enjoy my Sigg aluminum water bottle and I would recommend it to all!
...

jasyjen says "Better than any travel mug I have ever owned" about Chinet Comfort Cups

It seems that I am always on the go, running the kids somewhere that they need to be. Between football practice, baseball practice, school event, work, and everything in between, there is always somewhere that I need to be. As a coffee lover, I have tried several different types of travel mugs so that I can enjoy my coffee on the go. No matter how much I spend, or what type of brand I buy, travel mugs always leak and drip coffee on my clothing! It frustrates me to no end.

On a recent trip to Walgreens, I saw Chinet Comfort Cups on sale. I liked the fact that they came with lids and a chique' pattern that looked like something you'd see from your corner coffee shop. The cups came 10 to a pack, with lids, for a price of right around $ 3.00.

As soon as I tried the Chinet Comfort Cups, I began telling everyone I know about how great they are. These things are better than ANY travel mug I have ever owned! They don't leak, they keep my coffee nice and warm, and they look nice...
...

snpynme says "This fabric softener provides a fluff, soft fabric." about Snuggle Fabric Softener Snuggle Exhilaration 3x Concentrate

The Snuggle Liquid Fabric Softener produces a fluffier product than it's competition. For several years I have use the Downy Fabric Softener, and due to an excellent coupon from Snuggle, I decided to give it a try. After one use, I noticed that my towels were fluffier and softer to the touch. With multiple uses, I noticed that my clothes and sheets are softer still. The Blue Sparkle fragrance is light and fresh, and it renews itself as the fabric moves. It is not as inexpensive as the store brands, but definitely worth the extra money for the softness it provides.
...

Jo says "The 50 cent GoodSense Soup and Salad Bowl " about GoodSense 24 ounce Soup and Salad bowls

To the Point

We never have the right reusable bowls when it's time. For $1.00 I bought a set of two GoodSense 24-ounce Soup and Salad Bowls at The Dollar Store.

A Closer View

These are great. I mean 50 cents each and they aren't tiny. Each one is 4 1/4 inches in diameter and holds 32-ounces.

Each one has lines on it indicating 1 cup, 2 cups, and 3 cups.

What is amazing is that they go in the freezer, are fine in the microwave, and can be washed in the dishwasher.

GoodSense 24-ounce Soup and Salad bowls are made in the USA and should be washed before using.

Also the directions are to lift the lid to vent when microwaving and a warning that the containers get hot.

The seal is good I have to say. For this price I am going back and buying more GoodSense 24-ounce Soup and Salad bowls. The lids, of course, are flimsy. Don't expect Tupperware! As stated they are reusable meaning they could double as throw aways.

Jo's Viewpoint

Queeney8 says "Great scent" about Snuggle Fabric Softener Snuggle Exhilaration 3x Concentrate

I recently purchased a couple bottles of this fabric softener when it was on sale. It was the pink bottle. I had never tried this type of snuggle before but it was worth a shot. I don't like to use just dryer sheets so I use the liquid also. I love the smell of this softener. There is nothing better than snuggling up with a blanket that has just been washed using this fabric softener. It makes everything so soft too. The price is a little more than I usually like to pay for softener but I will definately be buying it again if I can find a good sale on it or a coupon....

magethers says "The Hefty One Zip Storage Bags helps put things in order" about Hefty One Zip Storage Bags (1 Gallon)

The Hefty One Zip Storage Bags are very cost effective products. Not only are the bags used to storage food, but it can also used to store other items in in the home. Some of the things have stored are writng instruments, tolietries, CDs. When I travel, I will bring the storage bags so I can store my dirty clothes. The bags are easy to pack in the suitcase. The storage bags are also useful in recycling the bags. There are times after I have used to the bags to store food, I will use the bags several more times as a means to save money and to be more conservative. The down side to the storage bags are that they are a little costly. I usually purchase the storage bags when they are sale and/or if I have coupons. I have used generic storage bags but they are not as effective or as strong as the Hefty One Zip. Some of the generic storage bags will leak or split after using them one time. The Hefty One Zip is more durable.
...
