ApriBambino says "O-Cel-O Scrub Sponges put the FUN in functional." about O-Cel-O by 3M No Scratch Scrub Sponge

O-Cel-O by 3M No Scratch Scrub Sponge

I may be one of the few people out there who doesn't mind doing dishes, especially when I use O-Cel-O No Scratch Scrub Sponges. They feature a cello-sponge side and a scrubby side so there's no need to use two separate pieces.

Made by 3M, with their trade mark "StayFresh" technology. The yellow sponge side is Antimicrobial which is a great idea to help keep it fresher longer and helps to resist odor and mildew, surely there's nothing worse than a smelly sponge. The scrubby side provides enough scrub-ability to easily remove stuck-on food without scratching metal or glass surfaces.

"O-Cel-O sponges and scrub sponges are long lasting and durable, as well as strong, soft, and flexible when wet. They're ideal for washing dishes, glassware, tabletops, appliances, and countertops".

You may not think a sponge can be fun but, these have unique and colorful prints on the scrub side that add a touch of whimsy and takes the boring out of doing dishes.They...
...

bkovacs says "Works well... but be careful." about The Works The Works disinfectant Toilet bowl cleaner

My wife bought a bottle of The Works, a toilet bowl cleaner that we had not previously seen. We wanted something that would take care of rust stains and hard-water scale, which are a problem at our house in the mountains. My wife thinks that it cost $2.50 for a 28-ounce bottle.

What it is

The Works came in a plastic bottle that has a bent neck, making it easy to squirt it up under the rim of the toilet. What shoots out is a thick bluish liquid, which has a pleasant mildly perfumed smell. The active ingredient is 20-percent hydrogen chloride -- more about this in a moment.

Using it

As I said, the design of the bottle makes it easy to squirt the thick liquid under the rim of the toilet bowl. A few seconds after squirting the liquid under the rim, we swished The Works around the bowl including down below the waterline. Any rust and scale dissolved immediately, and the bowl was quickly sparkling clean. And I mean that this process just took a few seconds -- The Works made the bowl clean in...
...

penny-pooh says "Easy, convenient, reasonably priced, and IT WORKS!" about Bounce Dryer Bar

I'm glad I was offered a free trial of this product, because I was really skeptical when I heard about it and probably would never have purchased it without having used it first. But, guess what?! After about six weeks of use constant use I find that I like the Bounce Dryer Bar!

At first I was not sure if I wanted to use it because I was afraid that:

#1 - it would not stay on the dryer drum where I stuck it (it hasn't fallen off yet)

#2 - It might stain some of my laundry (it hasn't)

#3 - It would not last long enough to make it worth the price. (there still seems to be about 1/2 a bar left)

#4 -It just would not work (it does)

When I do laundry I always forget to watch the clock to make sure I add the fabric softener to the rinse cycle - a waste of water and energy, since I have to start the rinse cycle over again to add the softener. Now, I just let the machine finish the load, I toss the laundry in the dryer, and my clothes come out soft, static free, and nice...
...

I recently bought the Shark Steam Mop. I was excited that Walmart had them so cheap ($80) and decided to buy one. Naturally, I got home and had to try it out! It was super simple to put together and use! I filled it with water and within 30, I had billows of steam! Woo Hoo! I have a medium size kitchen/dining area with a stick on tile floor (came with the house...I didnt have it installed). I proceded to steam clean a small section of my floor...Just gonna test it out..not do a full on cleaning session.

Before I go any further, let me say that I mop my floors twice a week with Pinesol and put a coat of Future floor polish on every two weeks. I have a small family of 4 at home and 3 poodles. I have a very bad back from an auto accident and staying in a bent or prone position puts me in severe pain. With that being said....

The handle on the Shark was long. Loved that! I did not have to stay in a bent position to mop! No back aches using this mop!

LoveisJoy says "My Shower Sparkles Like New" about CLR Calcium Lime Rust Remover

The first time I used CLR Calcium Lime Rust Remover was many years ago when I lived in an apartment that had rusty water. The inside of the dishwasher would get stained with rusty blotches and I was at a loss as to how to get it clean. Someone recommended running a dishwasher cycle with CLR in the detergent compartment. I did so, and was thrilled that when I opened the dishwasher door I was greeted with a sparkling white interior. This stuff really blasts through rust stains.

Fast forward several years, and I remembered that CLR can also power through hard water and calcium deposits. I bought a bottle to attack my shower faucet. I had recently noticed that the water coming through my showerhead had lost its forcefulness. Over time, the shower spray had gotten pretty wimpy and I hoped CLR would clear out the calcium deposits from the showerhead so that I could get my invigorating shower back. Happily, CLR not only cleared out the nozzles on the showerhead, but it provided...
...

LoveisJoy says "O-Cedar Makes Sweeping the Floor Easier" about O Cedar Large Angle Broom

These days it's popular to use products like Swiffer and other dust mops for cleaning hard floor surfaces. I do use a dust mop for some household chores, but nothing takes the place of a good, old-fashioned broom. O-Cedar Large Angle Broom is the most dependable way for me to clean up debris that other floor cleaners miss.

O-Cedar Large Angle Broom is made of sturdy, plastic angled bristles. This particular broom is extra wide so that it lets me finish a job more quickly. The bristles are flexible, but not mushy, and the angle allows the broom to reach into corners effectively (unlike my experience with Swiffer).

The bristle tips have a feathered edge and it seems to pick up the finer particles better than other brands of brooms that I've tried. I also think that the quality of the O-Cedar broom is outstanding. The bristles don't shed or fall apart like corn brooms can. I've used O-Cedar brooms for ages, and they seriously last for years.

Overall, my opinion of O-Cedar Large...
...

Taffypull says "Great for the money" about Electrasol Finish Powerball Tabs

We've been using the Electasol Powerball tabs for some time now and really like them. They are alot better than liquid dishwasher stuff.

I like them cause they are easy to use. You just take the pouch and open it up and put it in the holder. There are different kinds of the Electasol tabs ones that are liquid gel and you can just throw it in and it works great too and then ones that you have to open the tiny packages and put it in. It's really up to you which ones you prefer. I use whatever is on sale at the time or what I have a coupon for.

I like them better than liquid because the liquid seems to leave resude and doesn't get the dishes as clean. The electosal gets my dishes and clean and for the most part doesn't leave any resdue behind unless my dishwasher is overloaded.

We really like using it here and we get the big package and it lasts for a while.

The nice thing about using them is you don't need to use an exta rinse agent.

Taffypull says "Leaving clothes static free, soft and smelly" about Bounce Dryer Bar

The Bounce dryer bar is wonderful. I decided to try it out since I had a coupon and it made it in my budget. I always have loved the Bounce brand but it seems like the dryer sheets are always more than others even with a coupon so this was a great time to try it.

I love having the convenience of just throwing my clothes in the dryer and not having to remember to add the sheet. I always had a bad habit of forgetting that part and there are so many other things in my life to remember so why is that so important. Well if you've ever forgot to put the sheet in you know it's important because the clothes smell better and the static isn't so bad.

After putting this amazing contraption in my dryer I did my first load of laundry and did notice a difference in the smell of my clothes but over all nothing seemed really special. I didn't notice a change in the softness or the static either.

I do have to say that what wins me over on this product is the convience and maybe the saving too because you...
...

saceam says "Bounce is absolutly awesome!" about Bounce Dryer Bar

Oh.... my.... god... this bounce dryer bar was amazing!!! When I first got it I was a bit skeptical. I saw the bar and I was thinking “yeah right. This bar is going to soften my laundry" and I put it in... I was in shock after the laundry was done drying I took it out and the clothes smelled sooo good and they were soft as ever... Seriously like I smelled my clothes, I put them away and I would come back later open the drawers and take a sniff again. Sooo good. I would defiantly recommend the Bounce Dryer Bar to everyone, especially all the working moms who want to get the laundry done with. I don’t even have to remember to but in a sheet. Once you stick the dryer bounce bar in you can just forget it for 2 whole months... I think that is amazing. Finally they invented something so awesome and so practical that even the busiest person (a busy mom like me) who has no time to mess with dryer sheets can use. I am absolutely happy with this product. Thank you Bounce!! You are the best yet!!...
...

The Cascade 2-in-1 Action Pacs are a mess free dishwasher detergent that effectively help clean the food off dishes. With the pre-wash Dawn and Cascade detergent premeasured and packed in a dissolving packet, this product takes the stress and mess out of dishwasher detergents. Gone are the days of measuring just enough detergent in the cup, and adding the pre-wash detergent for heavier soils. These little powerhouses take on any job, big or small. They come a variety of scents, as well as a bleach formula that combats the stains without smell.

They can become sticky if they are not kept dry, but the outer packaging is a zipper pouch that helps keep out moisture. When purchased in larger bulk, these Action Pacs come in a reusable, lidded bucket which is even more convenient to close than remembering to close a zipper pouch.
...

In April 2009 we purchased a home that has large windows in the front of the house. The windows are up to the roof and I really dreaded having to drag out a ladder to reach them. Since we are in the country we get alot of dust from the gravel roads. I had heard of the windex outdoor multi-surface concentrated cleaner. Everyone told me that it left streaks on the windows and didn't clean it well. Of course for awhile I believed it, then I got sick of getting the ladder out. Being a busy mom I don't have time to get it out. Therefore the windows were not getting cleaned like they should. When I decided to give the Windex outdoor multi-surface concentrated cleaner a try I was amazed. No spots, no steaks, the windows were clean and the siding got cleaned as well. This product worked so well and saved me so much time. It is well worth its money and will be used at this house for many years to come.
...

I recieved a sample of the bounce dryer bar in the mail, and I have to admit I was excited about trying it out. So I quickly looked over the instructions, stuck it inside of my dryer, and was off to do a load of laundry and try this bad boy out. First impressions was that it did leave the clothes smelling good, but just did'nt seem to soften them as much as a dryer sheet does ( I do use liquid fabric softner with each load also) I did several more loads and with each was equally unimpressed with the dryer bar, I eventually started throwing a dryer sheet in with my load in addition to using the dryer bar because if nothing else it did give my clothes a fragrant scent. In conclusion, no I will not buy a bounce dryer bar but will instead be sticking with my tried and true dryer sheets.

I found the Bounce Dryer Bar kind of handy becuase I didn't have to add the liquid fabric softener into my washing machine. It has a nice clean scent that isn't too overpowering. However, there are times when I don't want to add fabric softener to a load of laundry, and with this product, there isn't really a way to leave it out. I didn't want to have to take the bar out of my dryer every time I did one of these loads, so in the end, I ended up just removing it completely and going back to my liquid fabric softener. This also brings up the point of having to "stick" the stick in the dryer, I wasn't too thrilled about putting something into the inside of my dryer with an adhesive, especially when I ended up removing it anyway.
...

I received a sample of the bounce dryer bar and was anxious to try it. I really didn't think it would be all that time saving since me and my husband live alone and usually only have about 2 loads of laundry a week, but we didn't know that was about to change. A couple of weeks after I placed the bounce dryer bar in my dryer my daughter underwent brain surgery and thus she, her husband, and three children needed to come and stay with us. Let me tell you going from 2 people in a household to 7 is a BIG change and I am constantly doing laundry! So now I can really appreciate not having to add fabric softener to the washer or not even having to throw a dryer sheet in the dryer umpteen times. The clothes come out nice and soft, non- staticy and smell great! It's a small thing, but with all we are going through right now, it's nice not to have to worry about fabric softener.
...

lamos says "Its a waste!!" about Bounce Dryer Bar

I wouldn't recommend wasting money on this. You can't even smell the scent on your clothes. I'm not quite sure what it does, but I can't see a difference. I still have to use dryer sheets just to have my clothes smell good. I don't know if it prevents static on your clothes or not. Only thing it does that it says on the package is that it will get smaller and smaller and it last in the dryer about four months.

It's too pricey, about $8 or more and I can't see a difference. I wouldn't recommend this product on anyone. You are more better off just using dryer sheets. When I first saw this product I thought this would be a way for me to save money on dryer sheets since it last 4 months. $8 wouldn't be a bad price if the sutff actually worked, since dryer sheets are a little pricey too except for the cheap ones but if it worked it would be a wonderful buy. I think they should take this stuff off the shelves because it is two thumbs down!!!
...

waltfan says "Awesome product; no more remembering to put the sheet in" about Bounce Dryer Bar

Was really excited to try out the Bounce Bar. I am forever forgetting to put dryer sheets in; then curse at myself when I get the load out of the dryer with everything sticking together. I was concerned when I first received the Bar to be honest; you could smell it in my mailbox. It was that strong. And it was overpowering when I removed it from the envelope, and then stuck it to my dryer. But then your clothes come out all soft and just lightly scented. How it does that I do not know. I will be purchasing refills from now on. I am anxious to see how long the Bar actually lasts, we run many loads a week. But I am one very happy customer, and am glad Bounce decided to help us busy moms out.
...

blclcc1 says "Didn't notice a single positive about this thing...." about Bounce Dryer Bar

I had high hopes for this product, since I love Bounce products. However, I was not impressed with this one at all. I found that I still needed my dryer sheets, and the bar came loose and broke in the dryer. What a mess!

Yes, it does smell good. But it proved to be way more trouble for me than using the regular dryer sheets, plus I noticed static cling in many items. I don't think the nice smell stayed with my laundry as well, either. I noticed that it faded rather quickly. Since a fresh scent is important to me, I am back to using the dryer sheets. I totally love them!

I also think the price is too high, I never would have tried this had I not had a coupon of high value.
...

odismom says "Works very well and lasts a long time." about Bounce Dryer Bar

I received a sample of the Bounce bar in the mail. I usually use liquid softener in the wash and dryer sheets when drying. We have very hard water and even with a water softener I have had to use both products I discontinued using the dryer sheets when I installed the Bounce bar.

I have been very happy with the results using the bar. The clothes are static free, even the polar fleece that tends to be VERY static-prone. Two of my kids have sensitive skin and while using the Bounce bar they haven't had any reaction while wearing the clothes dried using the bar. Including their underwear (is that TMI?)

The scent is very nice and stays on the clothes for a while but you don't smell heavily of fabric softener when you are wearing them. The scent is still there but becomes very soft when the clothes are out of the closet or drawer and being worn.

Overall I've been very happy with the Bounce bar. I've used it for several weeks and I still haven't had to replace it and we do A LOT...
...

basham6962 says "this is a great product" about Mr Clean Magic Eraser

I love this product. I can use it on my walls and my appliances. I dont have to worry about the product rubbing the paint off my walls or cabinets. I originally bought the product because I was looking for something that would take pencil and crayon markings off my kids bedroom walls. I was afraid that it would ruin my walls by rubbing off the paint like alot of the spray cleaners do but I was pleasently suprised to see that the only thing it removed was the markings. everysince I have been hooked. I decided top try it on my cabinets , my stove and the walls behind my stove and dthat it cuts grease and grime better than any liquid products Ive ever tried. It did the job quicker and easier. I didnt have to wait for the product to soak away the grease. the only disadvantage to the product is it wears out quickly. But other than that I woul recomend this product to everyone.
...
