This magic bullet is one of the best products that I have ever purchased. I love the blend and use mugs which are included since I can put my fruits, vegetables, juice, ice and protein mix right into the mug . Then you just screw the blade onto the mug and give it a few twirls on the magic bullet. The ice crushes up nice as do frozen fruits. Then all I have to do is take off the blade, screw on a special rim which makes the mug into a comfortable, easy to drink from cup and I'm on my way. Its incredibly portable and since the product comes with 6 mugs, I can make one for me and for my partner.. put those in the dishwasher later, and I still have a few mugs left to use for other things or the next morning. Its perfect for small cooking projects, but I most especially love it for my smoothies. The power of the unit is absolutely adequate and I've found it to be superior to more expensive blenders that I've purchased in the past and have burnt out all too soon from the wear and tear of constant...
...

Destroy Fruit With The Greatest Of Ease, A Pain to Clean, But Overall Good Product, Especially for Vegetarians and Vegans.
The Jack LaLanne power juicer first grinds the fruit/vegetable into pulp, then is spins the pulp around forcing the liquid and smallest particles through a mesh, then the Jack LaLanne power juicer forces the remaining pulp up and into a receptacle. The blade is made out of surgical stainless steel. It looks and feels more like a parmesan cheese grater than a blade. Because the motor is more powerful, it can use a blade of this kind.
When I grab a handful of the pulp I can feel the moisture and hear the moisture when I squeeze it in my hand. But I can only get a couple of drops from the pulp and there is no standing water in the pulp container(the exception is going to be with berries or similar fruit.) In summary the pulp is as dry as a centrifuge juicer is going to make it . As for the price, I paid about $130. It was more money than I wanted to spend, but I do think...
...

christmasevebaby says "The easiest way to make fresh juice" about Jack Lalanne Power Juicer

The Jack Lalanne Power Juicer is the best. I paid $99 for it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond a couple of years ago. This juicer is very easy to use and comes with a great recipe book for mixing fruits and vegetables into great healthy drinks. My family loves the fresh apple juice from the Power Juicer. You just throw the entire apple in the juicer - peel, seeds, core and all. The apple juice comes out dark and thick and you know it has to be good for you. Orange juice is equally as easy to make, although you do need to peel the orange first or the juice would be bitter. The Jack Lalanne Power Juicer is very easy to use and to clean up after use. The blades and other parts disassemble and clean up is a snap. The Power Juicer has non-slip rubber feet on the bottom of it and is remarkably compact. Jack LaLanne is very old, but he looks to be in great shape on the commercials selling the Power Juicer. He must be doing something right and everyone should follow his example.
...

I recieved this juicer as a gift about 2 yrs ago and I absolutley LOOOOOVE it.I use it every day . This is the only juicer that I have come across that will get evry drop possible out of the fruit or veggie. And it seperates the juice from the pulp so if you want to add it to your juice you can or you can leave it out.The hole where you drop the fruit is so big that you can put hole apple or pears in it and it will seperate the core from the juice and it wont ever dull the blade. My kids really enjoy the juicer to .My son is always asking for juice out of it .And as added fun he likes to create his own juice .I will let him decide what fruits and veggie that he wants to add and it makes it easier for me to get added veggies that he normally doesnt eat into his diet .sometimes I like to cut the cores of items out and peal the oranges and then use the pulp in breads and muffins. Its basically like how you would make zuccini bread but instaed you would use the pupl so you get added fiber and...
...

i have had the juiceman jr for about 5yrs now and have given it heavy usage. When i purchased the product i had learned that I was a type 2 diabetic and needed to change my dietary intact and i had done some "juicing" prior the hard way with a blender. The juiceman made it a lot easier to obtain the vitamins and nutrients I needed while entering and extreme change inlifestyle modification. You see the doctor that had originally diagnosed the diabetes had'nt told me that i would need to change my diet. And like most of us, there are quiet a few fruit and vegetables that are hard to palate. I had been watching the infomercials for sometime and had been trying to decide on the Jack La Laine or the Juiceman, and being on a tight budget not having insurance to aid in the medical side i choose the Juiceman Jr. At the time it had a retail price of around $49.00. As I've mentioned I've had this unit for about 5 yrs and I have definitely put it through its paces. Its been avery...
...

isafjordur says "Make sure to buy the new stainless steel model!" about jack lalane power juicer

The older model of the Jack Lalanna Power Juicer worked great. It gives a lot of juice, and so many different things can be juiced. The juicer lasted me for about a year until the base broke. It just stopped working. I loved that juicer and used it everyday. In the instruction manuel, there was an address in Wallingford, Connecticut, not far from where I live, where one can send for additional components for the juicer. A new base would have cost me over $40, which was almost half the price of a brand new juicer. I didn't think it was worth it, so I never bought the new piece to fix my juicer. Since then, there is a new model of the Jack lalanne Power Juicer which is a stainless steel model. The stainless steel model is advertised as being able to last a long, long time. I would certainly recommend any interested in buying a juicer to buy this new model. Although the old model worked great, it didn't last long. Clean up is a snap, and the juice is seperated by the pulp in the Jack Lalanne...
...

dwheat9003 says "Piece of Junk" about Jack Lalanne Power Juicer

Well, after a good workout on my Power Juicer Classic that I owed for about 6 months it broke the end of the motor shaft. Followed the warranty returns procedure on the Jack Lalanne website and nobody knows what happened to the defective motor. I did send package with signature required and name of receiver of package shows and yet, a customer service individual has no knowledge of package being recieved. Also, there has been no follow up on the status even after I recently faxed my name, copy of shipping information, my e-amil address, phone number, and home address.

Knowing what I know now I would have never purchased it because it is my opinion the warranty is not being honored and after more time passes it might get honored but I'm doubting it. The unit is poorly made and will not last after I used it for extensive juicing requirements, at home, so it will not hold up to a fair amount of use.

Don't buy it....It's Junk and their warranty is useless!
...

I was excited to purchase the Jack LaLane power juicer. I love fresh juice and was intrigued that you could put whole fruits in this juicer as long as they would fit in the tube. I am very disappointed in the juicer. You cannot even juice oranges in it. I would say it is fine for soft fruits. Pineapples have to be trimmed and cut or you really have a mess. Apples do great in it. The Juicer isn't that hard to use but it takes a lot of steps to put it together correctly. It is extremely messy and clogs up easily. I think it is more for soft fruits and vegetables. When I pay $100 for a juicer I expect it to be able to juice oranges. I wouldn't recommend this juicer.
...

This juicer can even juice carrots. I make apple/carrot juice for my family.. and this juicer works great for that. i have heard that it doesn't work well for soft fruit and I did try to juice strawberries without much success. For hard fruit such as apples and carrots though, its great. One awesome benefit is that you dont have to peel the fuit before you juice the fruit. The only thing that I could say that is a bit negative is that the container that is supposed to separate the foam from the juice, does not work very well at all if it is filled all the way. I solved this problem by not filling the container to complete capacity and the separation, when poured, works fine. I like the idea that there are two settings for speed. I mainly use the lowest setting. The machine is a bit noisey, but not as bad as some juicers that I have used. Overall, I would say that I would buy this machine again. A bargain at under 200.00 bucks.
...

First off, let me admit to the fact that I've never owned any kind of juicer before, this one is the first.

We were given the Jack LaLanne Stainless Juicer as a gift from someone who already had one and loved it. I had modestly high hopes for it, not being a big powered-kitchen-gadget fan; but we also have been trying to improve our diets due and lose some weight, so the gift was rather timely to meet that end. I honestly knew nothing about this product until I pulled it out of the box at home. We'd gone to the local big-box store and bought a bunch of stuff to put in the machine and try it out: Kiwis, mangoes, carrots, tomatoes, apples, oranges, pears, ginger root, celery and pineapple.

The Good:

Out of the box I got the impression that this was a sturdy product. All of the parts are fairly simple, that means less stuff to break or clean to me. It assembled in a snap, I didn't even look at the directions (typical guy...I know). Upon firing up the machine, I was impressed with how quiet...
...

This Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Express is a perfect way to have natural, fresh juices in the comfort of your own home every morning. I've had juicers before, but they always took up a large amount of counter space, were difficult to assemble, and even harder to clean since you had to hand wash everything.

The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Express addresses all of my concerns in a nice little Juicer package. I love how the pusher and the pulp collecter are made of clear plastic, which makes the appliance seem "friendly." It's also very easy to assemble, with pieces only fitting in a particular way. It took me a couple of attempts to figure out that you should slide in the pulp collector last and make sure that everything clicks into place, or the machine won't start, which is a great safety feature.)

The juicer is very easy to use - simply throw whatever fits down the chute and use the pusher to make sure the food goes all the way through the blades. You need to use a low-profile cup or...
...

i had my first juicer for 2.5 years and decided it was time to upgrade. i was willing to spend $150. i came across this juicer on wal-mart.com read other reviews and for the price, i thought what the heck. i am totally thrilled. reviews are great, especially when others are being honest. i love the fact that i can put entire pieces of produce in at once. i did have some super sized tomatoes and only made one cut to cut them in half so they'll fit. with my other juicer i'd had to make 3 cuts or more. another thing that's great about this is the amount of juice made from the fruits and vegetables. i took two same sized carrots, celery, and beets. i put one in my old juicer and one in this one and there was way more juice from this one. i put entire apples in, peeled the oranges and threw them in as well. i usually use a hand held juice extracter for citrus fruit. if you don't mind taking time to peel oranges or grapefruit then go for it. the juicer is very easy to clean as was my old one....
...

my juicer makes the best juice and the juice taste great.. the juice has made my health better. I just recently had a cholesterol check and my test showed that I have near perfect cholesterol. I did not have this before I started using the juicer. I am very picky about what goes in my mouth but I will drink the juice Jacks juicer makes, it taste very good and you can use the pulp to make muffins and other things. I was concerned about the clean up at first but I have got use to it and it is not so bad.
...

well i would like to saw that this is the best juicer i have ever tryed. ive been useing it for a while know and have losted about 30 pounds . i make soups, smothies fat free icecream and more with it. i have had it in my home for about 4 months and i wouldnt trade it for any thing. ive gotten the energy to work out by making energy drinks boosted up with veggies and dont even tast the veggies in it. i have even managed to get my young children to drink the juice mixed with there veggies and they dont even know that ther eating veggies.it also work well for making delicous soups and then all you have to do is heat it up for a little while.and having a juicer in your own home you save money and dont have to run out the the store to go and getthat fruit smoothie you are craving. and no pestisides and other things in your fruit smoothie that you cant even say. well i give it a five star because it is wonderful.
...

msum865048 says "Works good, but hard to clean and requires some prep work." about Black & Decker juice extractor

Okay, so I jumped on the health-nut bandwagon. In support of my avowed new lifestyle, I went out and bought myself a juicer. Not the super-heavy-duty Jack Lalainne type; but a good solid one from Black and Decker, a national brand with a good reputation.

My Black and Decker juice extractor is powerful, and it makes very short work of things like carrots, cucumbers, green peppers, that sort of veggie. These things need to be cut into portions that the rather small and narrow feed chute can handle, however. With things like apples that have seeds, a bit more prep work is necessary. You have to peel and core them and cut them into slices that, again, will fit into the chute without jamming.

Any kind of citrus fruits require peeling, and they also need segmenting so they can be fed easily into the machine without jamming it.

Cleaning the sucker is a major chore, I must say. I use a stiff toothbrush to clean out the mesh strainer and the other metal parts. It takes TIME. ...
...
