I was excited to purchase the Jack LaLane power juicer. I love fresh juice and was intrigued that you could put whole fruits in this juicer as long as they would fit in the tube. I am very disappointed in the juicer. You cannot even juice oranges in it. I would say it is fine for soft fruits. Pineapples have to be trimmed and cut or you really have a mess. Apples do great in it. The Juicer isn't that hard to use but it takes a lot of steps to put it together correctly. It is extremely messy and clogs up easily. I think it is more for soft fruits and vegetables. When I pay $100 for a juicer I expect it to be able to juice oranges. I wouldn't recommend this juicer.

This juicer can even juice carrots. I make apple/carrot juice for my family.. and this juicer works great for that. i have heard that it doesn't work well for soft fruit and I did try to juice strawberries without much success. For hard fruit such as apples and carrots though, its great. One awesome benefit is that you dont have to peel the fuit before you juice the fruit. The only thing that I could say that is a bit negative is that the container that is supposed to separate the foam from the juice, does not work very well at all if it is filled all the way. I solved this problem by not filling the container to complete capacity and the separation, when poured, works fine. I like the idea that there are two settings for speed. I mainly use the lowest setting. The machine is a bit noisey, but not as bad as some juicers that I have used. Overall, I would say that I would buy this machine again. A bargain at under 200.00 bucks.

First off, let me admit to the fact that I've never owned any kind of juicer before, this one is the first.

We were given the Jack LaLanne Stainless Juicer as a gift from someone who already had one and loved it. I had modestly high hopes for it, not being a big powered-kitchen-gadget fan; but we also have been trying to improve our diets due and lose some weight, so the gift was rather timely to meet that end. I honestly knew nothing about this product until I pulled it out of the box at home. We'd gone to the local big-box store and bought a bunch of stuff to put in the machine and try it out: Kiwis, mangoes, carrots, tomatoes, apples, oranges, pears, ginger root, celery and pineapple.

The Good:

Out of the box I got the impression that this was a sturdy product. All of the parts are fairly simple, that means less stuff to break or clean to me. It assembled in a snap, I didn't even look at the directions (typical guy...I know). Upon firing up the machine, I was impressed with how quiet...

This Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Express is a perfect way to have natural, fresh juices in the comfort of your own home every morning. I've had juicers before, but they always took up a large amount of counter space, were difficult to assemble, and even harder to clean since you had to hand wash everything.

The Jack LaLanne Power Juicer Express addresses all of my concerns in a nice little Juicer package. I love how the pusher and the pulp collecter are made of clear plastic, which makes the appliance seem "friendly." It's also very easy to assemble, with pieces only fitting in a particular way. It took me a couple of attempts to figure out that you should slide in the pulp collector last and make sure that everything clicks into place, or the machine won't start, which is a great safety feature.)

The juicer is very easy to use - simply throw whatever fits down the chute and use the pusher to make sure the food goes all the way through the blades. You need to use a low-profile cup or...

I really like the Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer Express. When they say "power" they mean "power." The Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer Express gives you plenty of juice and has a large Pulp Collector that gives you exactly that...pulp. You are definitely getting your monies worth...plenty of juice, plenty of pulp, and all the health benefits that go along with juicing. No extra sugar, just fresh, delicious, nutritious juice. The Jack LaLanne's Power Juicer Express juices all fruits and vegetables, has a Pusher that does a great job of pushing the fruit/veggies into the machine. The machine itself is very sturdy and all the pieces can be put safely in your dishwasher for cleaning. Which brings me to the one and only thing I dislike about this machine and that has to do with the Filter/Blade. It does an amazing job of filtering the juice, but it is quite difficult to remove for cleaning. I usually have quite a time trying to get it off, and I can see where this would be quite difficult...

We got the Magic Bullet express as a birthday present as this was not something I would normally buy for myself. I have a good old-fashioned blender that I was using before, but after trying out the Magic Bullet, I have to say, I probably will not go back to using my blender!

The Express comes with a larger blender and a smaller one for frequent usage. It also comes with several different lids and several cups if you want to use them at a small party. You can easily place the cup and lid of your choice on the unit and make whatever you want, and then when your done, voila! - instant smoothy! We don't use the small blender that often however because we tend to make drinks that we can just put in the fridge for the next day. The single use blender is good for only one glass.

The units and accessories are easy to clean. You can wash by hand or throw them in the dishwasher. I do recommend washing the parts right away so the food will not get stuck on them.

i had my first juicer for 2.5 years and decided it was time to upgrade. i was willing to spend $150. i came across this juicer on wal-mart.com read other reviews and for the price, i thought what the heck. i am totally thrilled. reviews are great, especially when others are being honest. i love the fact that i can put entire pieces of produce in at once. i did have some super sized tomatoes and only made one cut to cut them in half so they'll fit. with my other juicer i'd had to make 3 cuts or more. another thing that's great about this is the amount of juice made from the fruits and vegetables. i took two same sized carrots, celery, and beets. i put one in my old juicer and one in this one and there was way more juice from this one. i put entire apples in, peeled the oranges and threw them in as well. i usually use a hand held juice extracter for citrus fruit. if you don't mind taking time to peel oranges or grapefruit then go for it. the juicer is very easy to clean as was my old one....

my juicer makes the best juice and the juice taste great.. the juice has made my health better. I just recently had a cholesterol check and my test showed that I have near perfect cholesterol. I did not have this before I started using the juicer. I am very picky about what goes in my mouth but I will drink the juice Jacks juicer makes, it taste very good and you can use the pulp to make muffins and other things. I was concerned about the clean up at first but I have got use to it and it is not so bad.

well i would like to saw that this is the best juicer i have ever tryed. ive been useing it for a while know and have losted about 30 pounds . i make soups, smothies fat free icecream and more with it. i have had it in my home for about 4 months and i wouldnt trade it for any thing. ive gotten the energy to work out by making energy drinks boosted up with veggies and dont even tast the veggies in it. i have even managed to get my young children to drink the juice mixed with there veggies and they dont even know that ther eating veggies.it also work well for making delicous soups and then all you have to do is heat it up for a little while.and having a juicer in your own home you save money and dont have to run out the the store to go and getthat fruit smoothie you are craving. and no pestisides and other things in your fruit smoothie that you cant even say. well i give it a five star because it is wonderful.

Okay, so I jumped on the health-nut bandwagon. In support of my avowed new lifestyle, I went out and bought myself a juicer. Not the super-heavy-duty Jack Lalainne type; but a good solid one from Black and Decker, a national brand with a good reputation.

My Black and Decker juice extractor is powerful, and it makes very short work of things like carrots, cucumbers, green peppers, that sort of veggie. These things need to be cut into portions that the rather small and narrow feed chute can handle, however. With things like apples that have seeds, a bit more prep work is necessary. You have to peel and core them and cut them into slices that, again, will fit into the chute without jamming.

Any kind of citrus fruits require peeling, and they also need segmenting so they can be fed easily into the machine without jamming it.

Cleaning the sucker is a major chore, I must say. I use a stiff toothbrush to clean out the mesh strainer and the other metal parts. It takes TIME. ...

A lot of people want to feel energized, fight disease, strengthen immunity, or just find an easy way to get the recommended amount of healthy ingredients into their diet. My dad had been diagnosed with Lymphoma about one year ago, but he refused to get treatment. He chose to start juicing. He uses a rotary blade juicer. I bought the JuiceLady JL500 for around $100.00 in a few years ago and it is still going strong. I hardly ever get sick. I contribute my strong immune system to juicing. My dad got one and he looks healthier after his diagnosis than he did before, even without treatments. This particular juicer is very good at extracting juice and is relatively inexpensive. If you plan on juicing a few regularly, you should get this one. It might be a little messy at cleanup time, but for the price and ease of use, I recommend it. I also use the pulp in recipes. This is a wonderful juicer. The Breville jucie fountain is an easy set up precess that takes no longer than ten seconds before your off juicing. Though for me I need to have a little easier clean up process but I don't think I can find one that does as much as this Breville jucie fountainI have. It is dishwasher safe which I love. I enjoy the simplicity's of the unit as a whole. There are two simple to use speeds which is nice especialy if your going from say a softer fruit like a peach to say an apple. One and really only one negative on the Breville jucie fountainis the bulky body of it. If I were to clean up counter space for guest's. I need to take up two shelves in the cabinet. Now on the other hand I don't have many people over that often and sense I use it everyday I don't need to put it away. The Breville 800JEXL is worth it's weight in gold! This is amazingly easy to clean. I was a bit scepticle of the price but once I used it I realized that it was worth every cent. I hope that if you are... thinking about a juicer that you don't let the price hold you back. It has already earned its worth. I have only had it 2 weeks and I have already used it 5-6 times. It is so easy to put together...I only had to glance at the instructions. Did I mention how easy to clean it is? Its ease of cleaning is one of its best features along with the fact that it does not have an abundance of complicated parts. I also enjoy the pewter silver, it looks so nice on the counter.

I recently decided to go on a liver cleanse diet/program. I was feeling groggy and slow during the day and sometimes my body just felt tired. After talking with my mother about cleanses and the human body, I thought what could it hurt. I had nothing to lose by doing it for 3-5 days. I looked up on Consumer Reports for juicers and found this one, the Breville Juicer. I took it home, read the assembling instructions once and was able to put it together all by myself (if you knew me, you would think that was a huge feat in itself). In a matter of minutes I was off to juicing and it grinded up every fruit and veggie I threw at it, skin and all! It separtes the pulp and extras very nicely in its own container, leaving the juice pulp free. I will tell you I actually have never put any of the juicer's containers in the dishwasher, I usually just hand wash them, since I use it at least twice a day. And it only takes about 5 minutes to clean, especially if you rinse it right after...

I call myself a geek and I usually don't buy stuff without researching the products inside out. I went in detail on all the juicers in the market and finally settled with the Omega 8005 single augur juicer. This is the best juicers ever, I also had a centrifugal juicer and I have compared them side by side and this juicer gives way more juice than any other juicer on the market. The best thing is you can juice wheat grass and the slow mastication process doesnt destroy the vital enzymes in fruits and vegetables that people expect to get when they drink juices. The other best things apart from juices is the ability to make pastas and noodles. I have even grinded spices and coffee. This is the best multipurpose juices which comes with a 10 year warranty. I definately would recommend this to anyone. I am so happy with this juicer that i cant express. It has changed my life and I am already seeing results or daily juicing for the past 6 months.wORTH IT

I am a daily smoothie maker and I have wanted a juicer for some time. Last month my husband walked right into a trap he set himself and I got a new juicer. When I pointed out the juicer, he said "If it is not made in China, I will buy it for you." I know that what he meant was "if it is made in the U.S.A. and not made in China" but alas it was made in Poland and he kept his word.

Features of the Miracle Juicer:

Dear everyone this is just to remind you about the plastic stains of the juicer. Everytime I juice something of the plastic juicers there is stains left and I cannot get them out of the juicer. Plastic is not good for the oster juicer because it leaves stains and and I think glass is better and I will only buy the reamers for the juicing for the family if they ever ask that is. I do not know why the manufacturers do not test the juicers for stains and do not put it out in the public. But we see them in the stores and we buy them thinking we are going to have a scott free life. Free from worries and painstakingly clean up to look nice in thy own home. I love the glass reamers and the small ones to. I purchase them through the online reamer store. I cannot really think of the name of the company but they know what the public needs and wants. I love the glass reamers because that it honors the clean up and very well. Amen.

I recently purchased the Vita Mix 5200, with a 10 speed, 1500-watt motor. After much research, comparing Vita Mix brand with Blendtec and other less expensive blenders, we found that overall the ratings for Vita Mix were excellent.

My husband and I were first introduced to the Vita Mix 5200 at a local Home Show, where a demonstration was taking place. We were fascinated with the capabilities of a blender.

My pervious experience with a blender was making a fruit smoothie with a 450-watt motor blender that struggled to crush the ice. Now we were watching a young lady put whole fruits and cups of ice into the machine and within seconds a wonderful fruit smoothy was produced. We were also amazed as she put vegetables into the blender and with a couple of minutes we were being served hot vegetable soup. On and on the demonstration went. Now months later we are the proud owners of this high powered machine. It is fun creating new recipes using our blender.
