I have really enjoyed my Cuisinart ice cream maker. It is quick and easy, and in about 35 minutes I have fresh ice cream in any flavor I can dream up. It works very well, is fairly quiet, and easy to clean up. I always leave the bowl in the freezer so it is ready when we get a craving for ice cream. Also, it works well for us because we do not eat ice cream all the time so when we buy cartons they tend to get freezer burn before we can finish them. The only negative I can think of is that it takes about a day in my deep freezer for the bowl to completely freeze. The recipes need revising....

We just got the Cuisinart ICE-20, and we love it. We keep the bowl in the freezer all the time, since the major downside is that you have to freeze the bowl for 6-22 hours before each batch. Clean-up is very easy, and it freezes ice cream fast. (Just remember that homemade ice cream from any ice cream maker is going to be soft serve consistency until you let it ripen in your freezer.) Definitely the best gel canister on the market according to all the reviews I've seen....

This soft ice-cream maker really surprised me!

It's all made by plastic, but the quaity of the ice-cream is incredible.

Besides that I'm really disappointed about the dispenser!

If you freeze the ice-cream enough to reach a good consistancy, it won't never come out through the dispenser.

We always take it out with an ice-cream server because it has to be completely liquid to come out by itself from the bottom.

Anyway the ice-cream is unespectedly awesome!

Coming from only hand crank, rock salt and ice experiences I thought the Rival electric ice cream maker would be the ice cream lover's answer to sliced bread. Boy, was I ever wrong!

The box says "Makes Ice Cream in Less than 25 Minutes!" Don't believe it. The entire process takes much longer. First, you have to put the canister in the freezer for some length of time until the gel encased between the outer and inner walls of the canister is frozen solid. The ice cream mixture must be thoroughly chilled as well; although this could be done at the same time you are freezing the canister.

The box shows pictures of delicious looking sorbets, frozen yogurt and ice cream that appear to be rich, creamy and firm. Don't get sucked in. After having tried the machine several times I find it hard to believe these pictures were taken of sorbet and ice cream made in this machine. Even with using heavy creams and the finest ingredients the ice cream is soupy and most often icy. The motor is just......

My name is Jessica and I have had this ice maker for over a year I love it!! Anytime we go to an event that i know there is going to be lots of kids or a cookout i take it and all the fixings to make ice cream!! They love it!! It doesnt take as long as the one I had as a kid. Or when i just want my own flavor of ice cream i get creative and thats what i like. All in all great product

The cuisinart is the best one. I've had a couple and they were horriable. The ice cream was like getting ice cream out. The kids had a blast making the ice cream. It was a wonderful accituve for the family. It takes over night to freeze the continer but only 20 minutes to make. You just have to plan ahead the night before or everyone gets diappointed....

The Cuisinart ICE 20 1.5 quart ice cream maker is the perfect size to make ice cream for up to 6 people. It is very simple to use and quite portable. I like the fact that it requires no rock salt or hand cranking. Just plug it in, place the frozen bowl on the base, and put the lid/paddle on top and turn it on. You will have delicious home made ice cream in about 20 minutes. Mine did not come with an ice cream recipe book so you may want to buy one....

I like the ease of use. I am always busy, but this is so simple that even I have time to make treats for my family. I have even used it 3 times in one week. I like the premade packets, just add milk. My kids like the ice creams and the sherberts, and it's all easy!...

I have had this ice cream maker for about four years and it works well. There is a round bowl that is kept in the freezer until you want to use it to make ice cream. It's easy to use and simple to clean. The major complaint I have is that the ice cream isn't frozen hard enough and it must be put back into the freezer to finish hardening before it is able to be eaten. The other drawback is that the bowl must be kept in the freezer or placed in the freezer 24-hours before you want to use it again. Freezer space is minimal and the bowl takes up a lot of it....

The cusinart ICE-20 1.5 Quart ice cream maker has the best ice cream i've ever tasted before, and i had some good ice cream. When you make the ice cream, it doesn't take but about 20 minutes untill you can eat the very soft, sweet, and cold ice cream. The Cusinart ICE-20 1.5 Quart ice cream maker is very easy to use, and also is very fun. It has simple directions, and the directions are very easy to follow. It;s fun for the whole family! A few things you might not like about the product is it might be a little too soft at first. It's a liitle small also but thats ok too. The ice cream is a little bit noisy also.

This is truly simple to use and makes great tasting ice-cream that lasts well when stored for about a week. If you keep the canister in the freezer, you're ready to make ice-cream any time. I would also recommend putting the finished ice-cream in the freezer for a few hours so it will set a little more. Fantastic for dinner parties!
