The Hamilton Beach 70560 food processor works great for normal chopping and blending needs, but can get sluggish with heavy duty use (nuts and dried fruits). I've used it to make dips, soups, and for chopping many types of vegetables. I've been very pleased! For the amount it costs, it's probably the best deal out there.

after getting in the kitchen adn getting messy I found myself loving this product more and more with its versatility and structure and the easy clean up was the best part att he end of the night so that I got to spend more times with my kids and lesss time dleaning up..the cruisineart food processor is defineltly the utensil in my kitchen and should be on everyones christmas list.....

I cook 4-5 times per week and added the Cuisinart DLC 1SS Mini-Prep Processor because I thought that it would be a big help in chopping the onions and garlic that I seem to use in every meal. For the most part, this mini-chopper has collected dust in my kitchen cabinet.

This chopper looks just like a baby food processor complete with clear plastic bowl, removable chopping blade, lid that twists on, and the base housing the motor. It has a 21 ounce capacity, 2 speeds (high and low), and dishwasher-safe parts. It also comes with a teeny tiny spatula to help you scoop out the contents.

I've chopped onions, garlic, fresh basil, fresh cilantro, etc. in this Cuisinart Mini-Prep Processor. The garlic and fresh herbs weren't a problem, but the onion came out as onion puree rather than the chopped pieces that I wanted. when i was smaller i would just light things on fire and break stuff

i was in and out of dh, prison, jail, u name it

i was just bad kid,i was disrespectful and i didnt get along with anyone becuz i like 2 fight

i have bee locked up for a total of 19 years

i just got out in 06 from doin 1\2 years , plus i can be there for my dad and be the person he always wanted me to be when i was younger

I have had a Hamilton Beach food processor in one form or another for the last 30 years. I don't know how to cook without it anymore. My last one worked for 20 years and when it wore out I had to run to Kmart and get another one. It is the best buy for the money and I have never had a problem with it. I have used other over priced models but this is the best overall item for the money. I use it for everything from chopping, shredding, making pie crusts, and mixing. Real cooks must have a food processor....

My Hamilton Beach food processor was a gift from my mom when she was moving away this spring and couldn't take everything with her. I love it! I have no other food processor to compare it with, so I can't honestly say it is "the best".

What I can say is that it is very simple to use. It has only two speeds and a pulse button. It has a main spinning blade and an optional shredding/slicing disc. The disc sits on top of the container and you can flip it upside down depending on whether you want to shred or slice.

What can I say, other than, it works? I love having a food processor now because it chops and dices so nice and quickly. I've made salsa dip, dough, chopped or diced veggies and even bread crumbs. I'd recommend it easily, but as I said, only because it's the only one I've ever tried....

I use this all the time. I have the full size model but it is big and bulky. With just two of us now the Kitchen Aid mini chopper is the perfect size for our cooking needs. The 3 cup capacity is just the right size for making salsa, pesto, dips and more. The chopper has a reverse spiral action blade for uniform chopping which makes quick work chopping nuts and onions. The see though cover lets you see how much you've chopped and is a breeze to clean up. The parts are dishwasher safe or can be hand-washed quickly and easily.

The mini food chopper comes with a one year warranty. It is Kitchen Aid quality you can trust.

It is a bit pricey for its size though. If you can use the larger model spend the extra money. It will suit you better.

The mini-prep is a great alternative to an expensive clunky food processor. It doesn't hold much (it is after all mini) but is perfect for making dips, pesto, grinding nuts, or numerous other little tasks.

It is easy enough to clean but can be a pain to assemble at times.

I'm still learning how to cook, so I'm really not all that hard on kitchen appliances. When the 10-Cup Oster Food Processor that I owned gave up the ghost after about a year, I was surprised and very disappointed. I asked very little of that particular device and was annoyed that it self-destructed so quickly. When it came time to create a bridal registry, I added the Cuisinart DLC-2011 Food Processor.

This Cuisinart Food Processor is impressive as it has an 11-cup capacity, an extra-wide feed tube, and "dough technology" to adjust mixing speeds when you are making dough. It has a standard pureeing blade, a slicing blade, and a shredding blade. I've used my DLC-2011 to puree chick peas into hummus, to puree basil into pesto, to slice beets and carrots, and to shred kohlrabi, callalou greens, and beet greens. How do I use this.....let me count the ways! I do a lot of cooking and this little machine is one of the most valuable things in my kitchen. With both a chop and grind setting it can do anything from chop boneless chicken breasts to bite-sized pieces to grinding nuts to a fine consistency. Whenever I cook I probably use this 99% of the time. It makes quick work of vegetables so I can have soup simmering on the stove in minutes. It does have it's limits. If you want to do a large amount of something you probably need your larger food processor but for the smaller jobs, this does the trick! After you're done just put it in the dishwasher and you're done. Maybe not if you don't run your dishwasher daily! Even handwashing is a snap....

I was given this item as a wedding gift 3 years ago. When I first got it I wasn't using it much & as I started using it more often thats when things started to go south. It started squealing really loud & its already loud to begin with. The bowl turned yellow too. I called the customer service dept & talked with a rep who said because I didn't have a reciept if I wanted to get it replaced under "warranty" I would have to send them $39.95 & also cut off the plug and send that to them as well. I don't remember the exact reason why she said I would have to cut off the end of the plug but I think it had something to do with a manufactoring date or something? She said that she would send me a new one within a week or so. My problem is I don't know if I want to get another one of their food processors again. My mother in law has a Cuisnart food Processor & it is so quiet compared to mine. If I were you I would save your money & buy a Cuisnart. ...

The Cuisinart DLC -*S Pro Custom 11 cup food processor is fabulous! I've had mine for over 6 months now and cannot believe I've gone this long without it! I use it to make doughs, shred cheeses, chop, slice, etc. All the attachments make is very versitile! Great product and worth the money! Very sturdy too!...

I've been using the Cuisinart Food Processor for over a year, and I love it! I use it for everything, even things that most people would do in a blender, like smoothies. It's smaller size makes it a heck of a lot easier to clean up and I usually just put it in the dishwasher.

My only compliant is that you have to keep holding the button down. Sometimes, it takes several minutes to chop up ice or other frozen goodies, and I'd like to be able to do something in a different part of my kitchen while that's going on.

Still, a minor compliant, and I would recommend Cuisinart over most other brands for food processors!

When I first became enlightened in the raw foods diet way of living, one of the fears that came to mind is HOW would I manage to make interesting meals every day using mostly raw fresh produce? I mean, how many salads a day could one person ingest without going berserk?

I was greatly encouraged over time to come upon many different ideas for creative ways to use raw foods, in fact, there are SO many that I am still trying to get used to them all! Our diet is never boring- and for an experienced gourmet natural foods cook, that is saying something!

One thing that has piqued my interest over time has been the little device that makes what is known as raw spaghetti, or raw angel hair. When I heard of this term at first, I could not figure out what it was.

We were given this food processor as a gift. We had always wanted a food processor and we were very excited to use it The second time that we used it , the motor stopped and we couldn't use it anymore. I did not realize that this was a disposal food processor--use only once !!!!! Don't waste your money on it..Since we received it as a gift we do not have the receipt ....

We got the Cuisinart BFP-703 SmartPower Duet Food Processor/Blender as a gift about a year ago and it's been such a blessing! It slices, grates, purees, stirs, mixes and blends and were I not the wiser, I'd think it wined and dined me. It really came in handy when my son started on solid foods; I made his baby food and the puree setting was perfect!

I highly recommend this appliance to anyone who needs some convenience in their kitchen. My only complaint is that it's kind of bulky to store and a pain in the rear to clean, but as long as you don't mind hand-washing it and you have the space to store it, it's terrific!

Cuisinart Food Processor is worth its space on the counter. If you have never used a food processor before, try all the recipes that come with the model. Then look online for more or watch The Food Network where chefs use their food processors constantly. I use mine for soups, stews, and salsa. I mix cake mixes with it for 30 seconds. It beats a mixer, and it is lots easier to clean. Surprise: you can also make great butter cream frosting from scratch. You can make it faster than you can unzip canned frosting and stir it to spreading consistency, and food processor frosting tastes better. Expect lots of compliments if you take a cake to a potluck.

I make salsa with mine and save $1.00 to $3.00 weekly over the price of premade salsa from the grocery store. By making my salsa, I control the salt. I also make mine by more bits and less tomato sauce: none, in fact.

I have had my Cuisinart for almost 10 years. It was the third I purchased after its two predecessors...
