hustleboy says "You can be the Chicken Wing King with this bad boy" about Presto 05424 Presto 05466 ProFry

So I'm from Buffalo, New York originally. Needless to say, I know what good chicken wings are. Over the years I've discovered that it's very hit or miss when checking out chiken wings at a new place. Unfortunately, for every one time I am plesantly suprised, there are five other times I am ultimately disappointed. But then I figured out I could acquire wing sauce in Buffalo and then fry my own, fresh chicken wings. Not only are they better, it's a way cheaper option than buying them from a pizza or wings shop. The key with cooking a fairly large quanitiy of wings quickly is having a good deep fryer. I had about 3 deep fryers before this one, and they were just ok. This Presto is by far the best one so far. It heats up quickly and maintains its heat well while cooking. The twin baskets allow me to cook a little more than 2 dozen wings at one time. It's a very simple device and comes apart easily for cleaning. It's also great for making french fries, frying shrimp and many other options....
...

The GE 3-Liter deep fryer is the perfect choice for people who want to fry lots of food in half of the time it takes to fry fried foods in a frying pan. it offers an easy approach to cooking fried foods. Like chicken, french fries, and many more. It has a timer so that you can cook your food set for the time you choose. It also has a dial that allows you to change the temperture to what you feel is best for what you are frying. all of the parts are removable which makes it very easy to clean every piece like the removable enamel pot and removable heater... This is the best deep fryer I have ever had and I have tried a few. It also has a removable basket That you can use to fry your food in can easily be removed to drain your off grease used to fry it after draining it simply dump the food into a pan or plate. The things I fry in this fryer come out good and crispy and I love this deep fryer I would recommend it to anyone.it
...

I literally drove around for nearly three hours from store-to-store because I knew this was the only Deep Fryer I wanted to purchase. My family has been very pleased with the George Foreman GSF026B Deep Fryer with Smart Spin Technology. We like the looks of the product and love the results. The Smart Spin cycle definitely makes a huge difference in reducing the amount of oil in the food. Foods are less greasy and have a great taste. The kids actually enjoy helping prepare the meals when we use the George Foreman Deep Fryer.

The seal on the fryer goes bad very quickly and you will find hot oil leaking all over your counter. It was not overfilled and now I feel better in that I have found this same problem on several sites. THe latch does not hold the lid down properly and when the oil heats up and things inside are moving around, the basket pushes the lid up. It is very dangerous. I thought I overfilled the first time, so I emptied it and refilled with new oil right to the line. The same thing happened the very next time.
...

I needed a fryer but did not want to spend a lot of money for something that we are not going to use daily also I was looking for something that wasn't large too. But after I bought this fryer I am using it as much more than I thought I would. I am really satisfied with this product because I love making my own onion rings and chicken wings rather than going to a restaurant and this fryer really helped me with that. I also liked the fact that the cord can be removed and stored. Also no more burning yourself or spattering of oil because all you need to do is just put your food in the basket, close the lid and watch it cook. This is so easy to store with the oil in it and it easy to clean it up too. This was really a great product, very cheap and it's very easy to use as well. I would really recommend this presto for all your frying needs. Finally my kitchen counter was clean from splattered oil. Excellent product and worth the money.
...

The Fry Daddy is a great item to have. It is very easy to use and heats up the oil very quickly. It is easy to store becuase it comes with a top for the Fry Daddy. If you don't clean the outside every three to four uses, the grease build up gets hard to remove. I left home for a week and returned home; my husband did not clean the Fry Daddy and the grease build up is too hard to remove. It has built up a lot and I am considering buying another one. Also, the grease gets hot very quickly; you have to make sure that you monitor it. You want to put the fries in when the grease/oil is almost at the maximum temperature. The Fry Daddy cooks the food very fast. It is a good thing to change the grease, often. Fresh grease/oil allows the best food to come out of the Fry Daddy. There is a handle on the Fry Daddy that remains cool. The Fry Daddy cools down quickly, also, so you can get rid of the grease quickly.
...

We recently purchased the Presto Dual Basket ProFry to replace another deep fryer that only had one basket and was a smaller capacity. We love this new one. It was a great value and great price. It came with one big basket and also two smaller ones so we have the options. It's 1800 watts which in our experience is very good and you want to be careful not to get a wattage too much lower than this for proper heating. It is a nice large 12-cup capacity as well so we can fry larger amounts of foods. And the dual basket is so handy because now we can fry two different things at the same time without them interferring with one another and also one can go in or come out at it's own pace and not the same time as the other food item. We feel this deep fryer by far out performs ones we've had in the past and we did a lot of price checking and product comparing before chosing this item and we're very pleased. I highly recommend this fryer!
...

The Cuisinart Mini Deep Fryer is perfect for fries, egg rolls, and other small items. It has produced very fresh-tasking food every time! My husband and I have really enjoyed how crispy the food is, and even our guests have remarked that our fries taste just like fast food fries (in a good way!).

Cleaning up is also very easy, although I do wish that the compartment the oil sits in could pop out for more convenient washing. I generally pour the used oil out and use a paper towel to clean the inside of the unit.

I have only two real complaints about this product, and these are the reasons I have not rated it 5 stars. Firstly, the unit uses a great deal of oil. I realize that with any deep fryer you are going to have to use a lot of oil, but we go through an entire (small) bottle of oil each time. My other complaint is that the cord that goes from the unit into the electrical outlet does not stay plugged into the unit very well, and really any movement will cause the unit to become...
...

When ever my children crave french fries or fried chicken, I happily take out my Rival CZF530 and get ready to make my kids happy. My mom recommended this fryer to me and I've been using it ever since I went to college. Not only did my floormates like it too,but it made them come asking for more. I've tried other difficult deep fryers, but this Rival is of all, my favorite. All I have to do is set the timer, load it with my special fried chicken recipe, and press start. I don't even have to watch it; I can watch TV, and when its dinner time, the aroma of chicken fills the entire apartment complex. The only con is that it is small and cannot make enough chicken to feed my entire family. I believe this fryer makes my chicken taste better, and I would recommend it. I have owned mine for over 9 years, and its never failed. "Your chicken tastes better than KFC's" say my friends whenever I bring my special chicken to potlucks. I say that it is because of my deep-fryer, which I love.
...

My family loves deep fried foods and it seems like at least once a week we get out the deep fryer to make french fries, onion rings, mozzarellva sticks, fried fish, etc. Now I've used a lot of deep fryers and this is the first one that can be put in the dish washer to be cleaned - the whole thing, not just the removable basket!!! I absolutely love that. all my other ones seemed great at first but as time wore on the oil splatter would build up until they were gross, sticky messes that I would just end up throwing out. Not anymore, now I just throw it in the dish washer and voila it's all nice and pretty again. On top of deep frying it also can be a steamer and rice cooker. it is really quite amazing. the only cons I would give this product are that it uses a lot of oil and it doesn't heat up very quickly (it takes like 20 minutes compared witht the 5 of some fryers) other than that though, it is the best one I've had.
...

I liked the size and shape of this fryer better for cooking fried chicken, It seems like we can fit more in with out having to stack them so much. We use the fryer about every other week to make fried chicken, chicken nuggets, french fries or pre-made frozen fried foods. It heats up pretty quickly, but you do need to remember to let it reheat after each batch. The controls are a little confusing, but now that we have been using it for 6 months, I think both my husband and myself have it all figured out. It is rather easy to clean since the heating element can be removed and the tub that holds the oil can come out of the stand so you can pour out the oil. The basket come out and I use a small brush to clean it. The only downside to that is the way the mesh pattern is on the basket. sometimes the bristles get stuck and I have to watch to make sure I don't accidentally pull any out of the brush and leave them attached to the basket. I don't think we want melted plastic on our food. I like...
...

Oh, how we love this fryer! Even though I consider myself an accomplished cook, I've never really been comfortable frying foods. It seems hard to get the temp just right, oil splatters all over, and I always really worry about one of the children coming along and getting splattered.

About a year ago, I decided that I really wanted to try my hand at homemade doughnuts. Commercially available doughnuts are full of so many yucky chemical additives and I was eager to make these treats from scratch.

I did a LOT of homework before I bought this model, and I have never for a moment regretted the purchase. In fact, after a few weeks my husband bought me a second one! (We have a very large family and this is a time saver.) I love the fact that the lid closes securely, the basket is easy to raise, and the filter prevents that "cooked oil" smell. It is VERY easy to use.

The Euro-Pro F1045 is a neat little deep fryer that is easy to use. Not that any deep fryer would be hard that is, but you get lots of neat gadgets on the F1045 that makes it more appealing.

It has a timer on the front of the deep fryer that counts all the way up to thirty minutes. It also has a metal basket to make putting you food in, and taking your food out alot easier than with tongs. It has a thermostat to select your desired temprarture from two hundred seventy five to three hundred seventy five degrees. It's light weight and stays cool on the outside even when cooking.

The timer though doesn't seem to me to be the best built one out there. After about three or four times cooking with the Euro-Pro F1045, the timer began to get stuck. I was really depending on it to let me know how long my food had been cooking. Now it has quit completely and I'm back to using a clock on the wall. If you buy a Euro-Pro F1045, I do hope you have more luck with it than me.
...

I've had the Big Daddy and to me it doesn't match up with the Ginny's Deep Fryer. I love the fact that you can view your fries while frying because it has a window for that one purpose. I've had mine over 10+ years and it still looks and performs the same as the beginning. Makes me hungry just thinking about it. I guess I'll just have to have me some Home-made Hushpuppies, fries and deep fried fish tonight. Sure sounds Good! I know that has nothing to do with the product But on the other hand if I had NO Ginny's Deep Fryer, then I wouldn't be able to tell you how good of a product it is to me. It has and still is worth the money I paid for it, which was only $59.99. Ginny's is a mail order catalog and if you have the Internet, it sure would profit you if you could go into their Website and see the product that I'm talking about and purchase it for yourself, you truly won't go wrong.

I got my fry daddy two years ago as a Christmas gift from a friend. I was really skeptic about the item because it was so small, so I didn't use the item right away I let it set in the box for at least four months before I decided to use it. In April I was having my house warming party and there were a lot of people that was expected to come over and I had a limited amount of time to prepare the food for the party. With being so busy with moving and packing from my old address to my new one I realized that I had not when and brought any kind of skillets. I had pots, pan, and other cooking utensil but not a skillet anywhere. I was starting to panic, so I called my sisters to bring over a few of their skillets and see if I would be able to at least get some of the food done before my guest started to arrive. I still was short on skillets so I remembered that with some of the stuff that I had packed that I did pack my Fry Daddy.

The Rival deep fryer is the first one that I have ever owned. So far, I am very satisfied with it. It has an adjustable heat setting and timer. The timer is easy to set and works very well. I really enjoy this feature because it prevents me from burning my food! You are able to lift and lower the tray without opening the lid. I have found that the filtration system does not really let out a lot of the steam. It's easier to lift the tray, give it a few seconds to cool off, and then open the lid. This prevents the hot steam from rising up into your face. It does tend to smell a lot when the grease gets hot, but I have come to expect this from fryers.I just keep it near the fan over the stove and it works fine! The basket is large enough to accomodate food for 4 people, but the overall fryer does not take up too much room on the counter. The magnetic plug-in keeps the fryer safe from catching on-fire when I do not want it plugged up. This is very important when grease is involved! It heats...
...

We bought this fryer about a yr. ago at Bed Bath and Beyond. We were in the market for a new fryer. They did not have a very good selection to choose from. There were only two kinds. We chose the Waring. We were a little hesitant to buy because it was costly. We wanted a fryer and was taking a risk. It had a lot of the options we needed. It had a timer, big tub, dish washer friendly if needed too. We love it. I use it all the time. Even though I do not fry a lot. It comes in hady. We get omre use out of it then I thought we would.
...

yana1985 says "Works like it should" about Presto Presto Digital ProFry Immersion Deep Fryer

I have been wanting a deep fryer for a while now and finally took the plunge with this product. It was everything I wanted. I've had it for a month now and used it 3 times. I find myself wanting to fry in it. I don't use it each time I want to fry because it requires so much oil (the only negative). I'm seriously considering purchasing a mini fryer to use when I want to fry for just myself. The digital controls offer convenience and extra features. Set the temp and turn it on, it beeps when it reaches the selected oil temp. The timer is easy to use and loud enough to be heard. Recovers quickly when adding frozen food. Cleanup is no more than a small unit. As I have had it for just a short period of time, I'm hopeful that it will last for a very long time. I Love it, I Love it, I Love it, I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to purchase a Deep Fryer. I think this is a great product.
...

TaraLee says "When you want it fried and you want it fast." about Waring Deep Fryer - DF250

I have to confess, I love fried food. I am trying to not eat fried foods as much, but there is nothing finer than a fried potato, if you ask me. I first saw the Waring Deep Fryer at a friends house. We were having a cooking contest and I accused him of having an unfair advantage because he was using the Waring Deep fryer. Although I ended up winning, the deep fryer made it easy for him to win the appetizer portion of the contest. This deep fryer heats quickly and has a deep basket, that is sturdy and has enough room for a large piece of fish, the handles stay cool and the mechinism for lowering the product seems to minimize splashes. the stainless steel oil resevoir looks professional enough that it is not unsightly to have on your counter. I was resistant in purchasing this because it is so easy to use that my consumption of fried food will increase.

I finally broke down and registered for one for my wedding. We received it a few weeks ago and already I am making homemade potato chips....
...

jasyjen says "The best deep fryer I've ever owned" about Rival 1 Liter Cool Touch Deep Fryer

For many years, deep fryers were banned from our house. They were messy, always splattering hot grease everywhere, and I had not used one for a very long time. While I try to fix healthy meals for the most part, there are some things that just need to be deep fried for best results. Homemade Won-Tons are delicious, but when I tried to fry them in a pan, the result was a big greasy mess!

We found the Rival Cool Touch Deep Fryerat Walmart, which was on sale for around $ 20.00 and what attracted me to this particular model was that it was a locking lid that will keep the hot grease contained inside the unit. We don't need to have a very large deep fryer, so being that it was only a one liter unit, it seemed to be just the right size for us.

We purchased the unit, took it home and washed it out and filled it with vegetable oil. There is a fill line, indicating how far to fill the deep fryer. It didn't look like much oil and I began doubting the purchase, but it did turn out...
...
