JKD says "Makes the morning!" about Cuisinart 12- cup programmable Thermal Coffeemaker DTC-975BKN

This coffee maker makes the morning, whether you are a morning person or not. It's a 12 cup, so it's got a great capacity. It's got the built in filter, although I always use a paper filter as well. And, it's got a thermal coffee carafe. The carafe really does retain the heat for an amazingly long period of time, like all day.

And, the best part is, this coffee maker is programmable. It's easy to program, easy to use. Once you have it set up, as long as you want it making coffee at the same time every day, you can set it with just the push of one button.

The only thing I don't like about the carafe is that the pour spout takes a little getting used to. It's more of a pour slot than a spout so I spilt the first couple of times. I also wish that the coffee would not drip once the carafe is pulled away. I have a permanent coffee stain on the heating plate from where I got too anxious and pulled out the coffee before a full pot was made.
...

idroveallnight says "The best thing to happen to coffee!" about Keurig Special Edition

The Keurig home brewer is awesome! No more coffee filters, messy cleaning, coffee grinds, and waiting a lifetime for that perfect cup to brew. The keurig machine brews a fantastic cup in less than a minute - no cleanup involved, no stress, no waiting... just immediate gratification. Although you will be spending more in the long run on coffee since you must purchase k-cups, several companies are emergining with reusable k-cups that you can simply put regular coffee grounds in and still brew your cup immediately.
...

javajo says "Worth the price" about Cuisinart 12-cup

I wanted a stainless steel coffee maker with a carafe and all the functions. This was the best item for its price.

The coffee maker fits nicely on my counter--it squares off on the sides and the carafe fits snuggly into the maker. The water is a little difficult to pour in, but that is the only negative--I had to read the directions to be able to get everything working, but the directions are clear and the coffeemaker is fairly easy to use.

I like that the coffee pot shuts off immediately after brewing--the coffee is in a insulated, stainless steel carafe, so it stays hot for quite a while--no more coffee continuing to cook after it has been made.

I can set the coffee to be made for a specific time in the morning, and it's ready when I am.

This also has a self-clean function and directions for how to use it--this too is fairly easy. There is also a built in water filter system--you have to purchase the filters and they are a little pricy, but if your water doesn't taste good, it is...
...

poetikbree says "decent coffee maker" about Black & Decker 12 cup coffee maker

We had to buy this new coffee maker to replace the durabrand coffeemaker that we purchased less than a year ago. We have had this new pot for about three or four months now and already performing better than the old one did. It is a silver(chromelike) and black setup. you can preprogram it and it allows you to take a cup before its finished brewing. There have been no leaks no issues with the (arm like) part where the water comes out and goes into the filter. Everything with it seems to work about thirty to forty percent better than the durabrand one did. There are a few issues that I have had with it. My first problem is that if the pot isnt on the coffee maker just slightly skewed, then you will most likely get a half, if not three quaters, of the coffee grounds in your coffee pot. The other problem is that it takes a bit longer for the coffee to finish brewing than previously.
...

andrealoans says "The Mr Coffee ECMP50 is the best inexpensive Espresso maker." about Mr. Coffee ECMP50

The Mr. Coffee ECMP50 cost us about $65 at Walmart and works wonderfully! We have had our machine for about 6 months. My husband and I use it almost daily and we have not had a single problem. Just read the instructions before you use it, but once you do it is easy to remember how to use it! It is so easy to use that my nine year old daughter has learned to make Cappuccinos and Lattes for us, it is like having a coffee shop in our house. The Machine has a milk steamer attached, that works great! The only thing I see as a downside could be that the metal steaming arm is not the easiest to clean, you definitely want to clean it right after you use it or else the milk dries on and is more difficult to get off. I would definitely recommend this machine if you want to make espressos, lattes or cappuccinos at home!! We have saved a ton of money buy making our lattes and cappuccinos at home rather than going to a coffee place!!
...

cn1017 says "easy to use- good price" about Cuisinart DCG-12BC

This coffee grinder by Cusinart is a great value. I like having freshly ground coffee in the morning-- it truly brings out the flavor/aroma of the coffee, so it's great to use without paying a fortune for a coffee grinder.

This coffee grinder is weighty and solid, dressed nicely in a Stainless Steel exterior. The blades are sharp... the whole thing just says quality. It even offers a cover for the grinder bowl, I guess if you want to grind more beans than you need immediately.

The asthetics of the design are top rate, bit unlike their equally well designed coffee pot with built in grinder, this one actually works as promised. Very solid design - quality feel - excellent blades and grinding action.

Fairly good price-- probably around $30 at any store (Macy's, bed bath and beyond, or online).

So far no problems that I've had with this-- I've been using it almost daily for 2 years now.

This coffemaker is the best I have owned!! I have had the same one for about 4 years and the coffee it makes taste as good as it did when I first bought this. It keeps the coffee very warm for awhile. Has a very large decantur that does not spill. I love the pause and brew function. Its is very attractive. I have the stainless steel model and have always received compliments for how great it makes coffee and how beautiful it is. If you want great tasting coffee, this the coffeemaker to get. It brews very evenly and robust. It has a clock setting and a cone filtration system along with a see through water level gauge on the side. The design is stylish, sleek, and dramatic. The stainless steel compliments the black for a very modern look. Great in any kitchen. Gives a great aroma and not very noisy. The decantur is very sturdy and durable and not thin at all. I recommend this product to all coffee lovers and those looking for a wonderful coffeemaker!!
...

BECKRI says "Fantastic performance... and affordable!" about Mr. Coffee 4 cup coffee maker

I bought this little gem at either Target or Walmart, can't remember for certain which it was. I paid just under $15 last year. We had a larger 12cup machine prior to this one. I'll never go back to that size again. No matter how many times I tried to explain to my husband that he didn't need to make a full pot every single time he wanted a cup of coffee, he'd do it anyway. So I decided when that machine went we would be downsizing. This little pot gives us two and a half servings, although it says it is a 4 cup brewer. Every so often we have to make an additional pot, such as if we have company over. But it really takes only a matter of a couple of minutes to ready another pot. I'm trying to think of any negative points that this product has, but I sincerely cannot find any faults in it. It's been getting regular use and has been going strong, and I expect it to continue to do so. This would make a nice little gift for a single friend or an elderly coffee drinker. ...
...

We were so excited to finally buy our first espresso maker. A trip back from Europe had made us converts and the idea of a machine that would wake me up with espresso was the ultimate luxury. The directsion were easy and the machine straightforward. the first cups came out like a dream. Five cups later our machine started making little chugging noises: ten cups after that it stopped finishing making cups of espresso entirely! We reset the machine nearly every time we made a cup and notice that it was now overheating regularly. Not a great sign for a house that with young kids running about! We switched espresso types and that seemed to increase the odds of getting a full cup of espresso for awhile but the shaking returned. It had become a major distraction and source of stress around breakfast time. I would not recommend it unfortunately. BUT, on the plus side the manufacturer took the machine back without question. I noticed that Wililams Sonoma has ceased carrying the model...
...

Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker Model TM 70 is worth having in the kitchen if you are a Iced tea drinker. It is quik and easy to use and hardley takes any room on the counter. You can set the strongness of the tea. you can use either bag tea or with a filter loose leaf tea. it does both great. the tea pitcher is dishwasher safe, i looked a a few and seen that they were not. there are marker lines on the side to help you determine how much water and ice to put into it so you can get it right every time. It brews up a 3 quart batch of tea in about 10 mins. the tea is brewed hot but with the ice in the tea pitcher it is cold enough to drink with out addding anymore ice once it is done. it is easy to maintain and like i said it can be stored to make room on the counter. the tea pitcher fits in the fridge no bigger then a gallon of milk. it cost me $20.00 USD at walmart. and it is worth every penny i spent on it. if you like iced tea then this is worth spending the money on.
...

The Keurig Single Cup Brewer is one the best items I have every purchased. While you end up paying a little more for K-cups versus regular ground coffee, you can buy the flavors you like and make yourself that flavor whenever you want. As long as you have 3 minutes of time, you have time for this coffee maker. You can spend just a bit more and buy the filter cup to use your favorite ground coffee, but that does require some cleaning after. I like using the K-cups because the cleaning is merely pulling the K-cup out and throwing it away. it is so simple!
...

I received this coffee maker to test and I really like it. I am not a heavy coffee drinker but drink about 2-3 cups a week so this coffee maker is perfect for me. It came with to pod holders. One for a single pod and a deeper holder for 2 pods but I only need to use the single pod holder. You put the pod on the pod holder and pull down the lid, put a coffee cup under the coffee pod dispenser and push either the 1 cup button or 2 cup button. Now the one cup feature only dispenses 4 ounces so what I do is push the 2 cup button and only use 1 cup/pod. I don't need my coffee to be too strong. You can put two coffee cups on there at a time to brew two cups but since I am the only coffee drinker, I get it all to myself. It is a little loud while brewing and the water reservoir is a little small but since I am the only person drinking coffee except when my father in law visits.
...

First of all, it has a removable filter basket. Which I've removed- permanently. I found that after using the basket, I had little coffee bean bits floating in my morning cup. My suggestion: keep buying the filters. They're cheap and last a while so it's really no trouble. The only other problem I've had is the grinder sticks in coffee maker and I have to use two spoons as a sort of makeshift leverage system to pop it out. But that could just be my fault. Though I clean it after every use, I find that my brother (who owns the same coffee maker) has no trouble with his. The last problem I've found is that the carafe itself can be hard to clean unless you have small hands that can fit inside it. I usually just let some dishsoap swish around with hot water and it seems to clean well enough. The rest of the parts I just pop in the dishwasher. Other than that, this is a GREAT coffee maker. Thanks to the insulated double walled carafe, I can make coffee in the morning and still have a nice warm...
...

My black and Decker coffee pot allows me to make up to 12 cups of hot fresh brewed coffee with just the click of a button. For someone who is always on the go and doesn't have much time to wait around and waste time this coffee pot has made waiting impatiently for the coffee to be made, a thing of the past. It has a very sleek and modern look, and the time it takes to brew is quicker then getting in your car and traveling to your local coffee shop. Plus if you add up the cost, you save TONS of money but buying your own coffee and in the long run you actually save time and money as well. With the economy nowadays who couldn't save some time and money. Being able to have a fresh pot of coffee brewing all day is one of the best investments I've ever purchased. Plus it doesnt go stale or taste bad at all, and doesn't get cold like my old coffee pots. This ones defintly a keeper and will be brewing me amazing cups of coffee for a very long time!
...

cheryluni says "I love the Hamilton Beach Brewstation coffee pot" about Hamilton Beach Brewstation

My first experience with the Hamilton Beach Brewstation coffee pot was at my brother's house. The smell of fresh made coffee is always so enticing, and the look of this new coffee pot was sleek. The coffee is made into a container that allows pushbutton serving of the coffee. It is so very easy to use, take the carafe off, fill it with cool water to the line of servings you wish to make, from 2 to 12. Pour the water into the pot, next place the filter holder into the system, add your paper filter, and ground coffee to your taste. You can set the pot to a preprogrammed time, or just push the on button twice and coffee begins to brew. The front of the carafe is clear so you can see just how much coffee you have left. The system is very good at keeping the coffee warm, but never burns the coffee. I am not quite sure how it does it, but even with only a cup or so left in the bottom of the carafe, it can sit there for 2 hours and not burn. I love this coffee maker and if I...
...

grammy20 says "The Kuerig is easy, coffee is great and no mess or fuss!" about Keurig keurig elite coffee b-40

The Kuerig Elite is great. I live alone and hated making a pot of coffee when all I wanted was one cup. I get up, place a cup in the holder, press a button indicating what size cup I want, press another to brew and within minutes I have a cup of fresh brewed coffee. I also enjoy a cup in the evening after I've cleaned up the dinner dishes...best thing...I don't mess up my kitchen making a cup. I also use the Kuerig to brew my tea and once in awhile I use it for a treat...I'll brew a cup of hot cocoa!!
...

m123c says "Brews Okay " about Black & Decker DCM100B 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Pot

I had a Bunn coffee maker that died so I needed a quick replacement. I found this Black and Decker Coffee Pot at my local Walmart. The price seemed right and it had features that I liked and knew my family would use. I have been using it for six months now and have only one complaint about the unit. When you go to fill it up the water pours all down the side of the unit and you have water on the counter. It is very hard to get the unit to fill without the water going on the counters. It does brew as stated and have not had any problems with the actual brewing or control functions for auto start.
...
