gingersnap6000 says "works great" about Philips Senseo

The Senseo coffee maker delivers what it promises. The coffee is fresh and tastes as good as buying an expensive cup of 5 dollar coffee from any of the local coffee shops. The water is steamed with high pressure through the coffee pod to deliver a nice foam on the top of your cup like a latte. I am a coffee shop junke and this is a great alternitive to that right in the comfort of my own home without having to get dressed and in the car to get my fix. The one thing I think they could improve upon is the selection on decaf coffee flavors that they offer. I can only find one type of decaf for the senseo right now, and since I only drink decaf that is limiting. If I want a flavored coffee I have to brew it in my coffee pot, which goes stale tasting if it sits more than an hour . The single serve senseo is fresh with every cup and tastes great. Another perk of it is that anytime of day I can make a single cup with no waste of grounds like in a full pot that...
...

dsou188 says "LOVE MY BUNN BX HOME BREWER" about Bunn BX Home Brewer

I just love my new Bunn Coffee Maker. It makes 10 cups of coffee in just about 3 minutes tops. I use to have a coffee maker with a timer on it so it would be ready when I woke up in the morning, Now when I wake up in the morning I start my BUNN BX BREWER and before I can finishing making my bed my coffee is ready. I've only had it for 3 months and it is the best. I don't know why I hadn't purchased one 30 years ago. Anyone looking for a new coffee maker should spend that little extra money and purchase one. One thing you should know is that you should always purchase the BUNN coffee filters made by BUNN, because it brews so quickly that if you use a regular coffee filters it tends to overflow and you may get some grinds in your pot. It is nice when you have unexpected guests, you can offer them a cup of coffee, and it will be ready and very hot in just 3 minutes. No more waiting 20 to 25 minutes for a pot to brew. I Love My Bunn. I highly recommend it to any true coffee drinker....
...

RoobyBegonia says "My favorite coffee maker" about Keurig Platinum Brewing System

We bought this coffee-maker over a year ago after reading about it on someone's blog - now there's a first! :) As a Seattle native, I like good coffee - and that doesn't always and only mean Starbucks. I like a good dark roast, and I like it fresh. There's no better way to get a fresh cup of coffee than to make one cup at a time. The brewer I have is a little different from the newer version of the Platinum Brewer on the Keurig website (www.keurig.com) but works essentially the same. You use a single K-cup - a small plastic container with a foil lid - that is filled with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. You open the machine with a lever and put the K-cup inside and close it - the top and bottom of the K-cup are pierced and hot water from the internal reservoir is pumped through it, much like an espresso machine. You can program the machine to turn on and off at specific times of the day, or just leave it on so there is hot water on demand at all times (which is what I do.) ...
...

My daughter thought this would be the perfect gift for mother's day for me because I love coffee in the mornings. At first I told her not to bother with it. Of course she did. When I tried it at home, I fell in love with my Keurig B30 Mini Brewing System. It saves me a lot of time in the mornings when I am rushing around getting ready for work. There is virtually no clean up. You pop in a coffee pod and add water and do what you have to do. When your coffee's ready, it shuts off automatically. I love that about my Keurig B30 Mini Brewing System. I still thank my daughter for the gift.
...

I have enjoyed this product thoroughly. I loved the fact that it has its own grinder and that there is a thermal pot that keeps the coffee. No more scalded coffee. However after a couple of years this product started popping open it's filter door and thus spilling hot water everywhere. It still functioned but had to be watched during its brew cycle in case it popped open. We still enjoyed this product for awhile longer even if we were disappointed. I loved the fact that you could program it the night before and wake up to hot, not burned coffee. The Cuisinart Grind and Brew Thermal was a fabulous idea....but needs some serious tweeking to make it last . I paid $100 for this product and expect it to function properly and last longer than it has. Ours finally stopped functioning about a month ago, the grinder just stopped grinding. We now use it with pre ground coffee and it still pops the door open on occassioin but brews the coffee with the pre ground coffee. Not a horrible product but...
...

The Cuisinart Grind and Brew is absolutely the best coffee maker on the market as far as I'm concerned. You just add the whole coffee beans as you add your water, and it grinds them automaticly. You also have the option to use ground coffee if you do not wish to use whole beans. I love the carafe instead of a pot sitting on a burner that cooks the coffee down. The carafe keeps the coffee hot for a long time. It is still warm the next morning! The coffee maker is programable, so your coffee is ready when you get up in the morning. It also has a built in charcoal water filter that improves the taste of the coffee. The coffee maker and carafe have a stainless steel finish and is very attractive in your kitchen. It comes with a permanent coffee filter which is also a nice touch. It is very easy to clean, and also very easy to program. I highly reccomend this coffee brewing station to anyone. I love mine.
...

Mr. Coffee TFX23 12 cup programmable coffeemaker is an excellent way to wake up smelling the coffee each morning. This coffeemaker is programmable so I can easily set it up the night before so that in the morning when I am half asleep all I need to do is to hit the 'Start' button and instantly the coffee starts brewing and fills up the house with the best aroma to wake up to. This coffee maker has a pause 'n Serve feature which is nice so that while I'm brewing a whole pot I can stop and make myself a cup while it's still brewing and enjoy a relaxing first cup while I complete making the rest of the breakfast meal. This coffeemaker has a removable filter insert which makes for easy emptying of the old coffee filter and grinder. It is very easy to find the plain white filter papers for this model. Mr. Coffee makes the white filters and you can also buy some of the off brand filters and they work just fine in this coffee maker. This coffee machine is very sleek and looks good on my counter. When I started using it, I did have to follow the direction step by step a few times to learn how to make a good cup of espresso and lattes, but I was not let down. The frothing attachment was is great, no more manual frothing containers and it is easy to clean. It is important to always turn off the machine and unplug it as the directions say or it could possibly continue to heat the machine and burn itself out. This is a great way to save time from running to a Café to get your favorite Latte or Cappuccino. It will also be easier on your wallet in today's economy if you make your own specialty coffee. If you are considering an Espresso/Cappuccino machine you...
...

I love my Zojirushi coffee maker. I had a Zojirushi for 4 years and never had a bit of trouble with it until I left the lid open and didn't move the hot water wand (for lack of the proper word) over the basket with the coffee grounds. The water in the reservior became super heated and burned out the heating element. It was totally my fault, just a slip of the brain. So I had to go looking for a new coffee maker. There just isn't anything out there to compare. We drink tea in the mornings and I can remove the basket to make hot water in the same stainless steel carafe that I use for coffee the rest of the day. I suppose you could even use it to make a pot of hot chocolate for the kids. The stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee or tea hot for a good hour. It stays even hotter if I pre-heat the pot with hot tap water for awhile before brewing the coffee. So I ordered a new Zojirushi and I am one happy camper.
...

PQ says "Love that it stays hot for hours for serious coffee drinkers" about Cuisinart 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker

The Cuisinart 12-cup programmable coffee maker is the first programmable I've owned. I resisted all the bells and whistles for quite awhile, being something of a purist, but I really appreciate that it tells me when it's ready (with 5 beeps) and when it stops keeping the coffee hot (with 2 beeps). I love that it actually keeps the coffee hot as long as you want it to! The design is chic and attractive and I enjoy the gold filter feature and the charcoal filter inside. The coffee has a "pure" taste that I appreciate, too. I also like the feature that allows you to make a small pot when you want to. However, I've not had a coffee maker that leaves dark sludge at the bottom of the pot before. The last ounce or two of each pot is undrinkable. Maybe this is a good thing, and coffee pots are supposed to let the residue sink to the bottom but, if so, I've never heard of this before. Also, the clock on mine doesn't keep time properly, a real drawback if you want to program it a whole day ahead....
...

The Mr Coffee VB-13 is a good value. It makes 12 cups of good coffee. The coffee stays hot, until the unit is turned off. It has pause and serve, so you will not have to wait for the whole pot of coffee to brew to have a cup. There is a spout that pours hot water over the coffee grounds which can be moved to the back for easy removal of the filter basket. The filter basket can be taken out to clean. The unit is simple and low-priced. This coffee maker may not meet the standards of picky coffee drinkers, but I was very pleased with the coffee from this unit. There are holes near the top of the water resevoir, so take care not to overfill the unit (will cause leakage). It uses paper filters and is easy to clean. All-in-all, this is a good coffee maker. In my opinion, this coffeemaker made above average coffee. You'll have to turn the switch on to start the coffee, but it will be worth the wait!
...

I like this machine. I know there are a lot of other machines out there that try to get you to spend more money but I have been satified with this product. When I go out shopping looking for a new machine it is important to me to look for price, what features it has, and color. I dont think it is nessary to go and spend 100.00s of dollars on a "better" machine. I hear people say that the most expensive product is the best. Well I dont agree. I feel that if it is a sound product name like kenmore and other popular names thats what we should go by. I would not go out and spens lots of money on a name brand I didnt know. I will stand behind some of my name brands. I would tell my friends to get this machine. If they want something that can hold a lot of coffee and you can get a nice expresso what else do you need? That sounds like a perfect machine to me. Something you can have for years and not worry it will fall apart after a few uses.
...

The B&D DLX 1050W seems to be fine at making coffee. Set the clock, decide when you want the coffee maker to start, and as long as you don't vary too much in your schedule, the machine will boil the water and send it through the grounds. The digital clock isn't real accurate, but as long as we have to reset clocks every 6 months anyway, it will do the job.

The problem started when the bottom of the pot broke and I had to chose between fix or replace. Couldn't easily find a replacement at the (WalMart) store. Also, the ones they sold were half the cost of the whole unit. Is the unit that inexpensive? I bought the unit about 7 months ago. Are they upgrading them that fast? I have to bet that B&D is losing money by not realizing that the pots arewhat break quickest and even for a coffee maker of this level there is a need for replacements.
...

judith99 says "Doesn't keep coffee hot enough" about Mr. Coffee Mr Coffee 12 Cup Coffee Maker

I bought the pot because it looked good. It does what it says. I thought the price was high for the item but I need a new coffee pot so I bought it. I will say that since I bought mine the price has gone down quite a bit. I like that you can set the timer so when you get up the next morning the coffee is ready to drink. What I don't like is after the first or second cup of coffee I have to put the others in the microwave. I wish Mr. Coffee would make a coffee pot that would keep the coffee hot enough that I would not have to put the coffe cup into the microwave each time I get another cup. I do like however that the Mr. Coffee coffee pot shuts off after 3 hours because I sometimes forget to turn the pot of especially if there is still coffee in the coffee pot. I would recommend this coffe pot for anyone who needs an inexpensive coffee pot and does not care if their coffee is steaming hot. This would be the perfect pot for them
...

placdan says "Perfect for a one person coffee family" about Keurig Single Cup Coffee Maker

Our Keurig single cup coffee brewer is one of the best purchases we have ever made. Since it used the k cups, each person can have fresh coffee in different flavors with the touch of a button. I also use it to simply heat hot water when I am cooking and need a few cups of hot water fast (makes boiling water so much faster). I love the flavored teas that are available in the k cups, too. There is no filter to clean, or coffee pot to worry about. We only make what will be used at once, but if we need more, we make a few cups and serve it in a carafe. I love the two sizes of cups that are made, also. The choices of coffee flavors are very different, and available online or in stores. WE have subscribed to an auto delivery program that allows us to have coffee at all times without having to even get out of the house! This is one gift you can give someone that will be used every day!!
...

Leen814 says "Keeps the coffee hot for hours." about Zojirushi EC-BD 15 Fresh Brew

We purchased the Zojirushi EC-BD15 after reading on-line reviews. We had previously bought tried coffee makers by both Mr. Coffee and Cuisinart. The Mr. Coffee would not keep the coffee hot as long as we wanted. It instead tended to "cook" the coffee, leaving it tasting burnt if left on the warming pad. The Cuisinart product had a thermal caraffe, which we loved. We also liked the 12 cup capacity. Unfortunately, the basket spring broke twice.

I put a lot of time into reading reviews, searching for a coffee pot that #1, would keep the coffee hot all morning, #2, have a stainless steel carafe, #3, make a good tasting product, and #4, be durable.

The Zojirushi EC-BC15 Fresh brew fit all the search requirements. It has performed well for the 2 years since we purchased it. My only (minor) complaint is that the carafe is only available in a ten cup capacity, instead of the 12 cup I prefer.
...
