mrsmadpaw says "Our Toastmaster bread machine is used weekly" about Toastmaster Automatic 1.5 lb. Breadmaker

I was never a cooking type of person. Thanks to my mom, I survived mainly on Hamburger Helper and the frozen food section. That all changed when someone in our family learned that they had a soy allergy. If you aren't familiair with soy, it is in almost any food that you can think of. Almost everything we eat now has to be homemade or organic. It's turned out to be a sort of blessing for the family. Most breads contain soy flour, so one of the first things we bought after learning about the allergy was our Toastmaster bread machine. I have fallen in love with it. Thanks to this machine, I actually enjoy mixing the dough and being able to watch as it turns into a loaf. This machine has turned out to be a great asset for us. It is used at least once a week. I haven't had to buy store bought bread for months. In fact, we had family over at our house for Thanksgiving, and since we couldn't use store bought stuffing, I had to make the stuffing myself. Thanks to a really great rosemary bread...
...

ESmith84 says "Very satisfied with my Cuisinart Convection Bread Machine" about Cuisinart CBK-200 Bread Maker

I love making home madebread, but with the addition of a new baby into the family I just don't have the time any longer. I spent many hours reviewing bread machines before settling on the Cuisinart CBK-200. What originality attracted to this machine was the variety of functions it provided. The ability to make 1, 1.5 and 2 pound loaves, as well as dough, artisan breads and jams was a definite plus. I loved that it had a 13 hour delay timer so that I could prepare my bread and wake up to that fresh baked smell in the morning! Also, the Cuisinart CBK-200 is a very attractive looking machine, much more so than many of the plain white plastic ones. I am very proud to display this machine on my counter top.

However, with that said, it was not smooth sailing from the start. When I initially brought my machine home, unpacked it and set it up, I was prepared to go on a bread making spree. I wanted to do something quick and easy, so I looked through the provided recipe book and...
...

I just love this breadmaker. It is very easy to use and makes a perfect loaf of bread. You just program it and then just let it go. You can go about doing other things while your bread bakes. The smell of fresh baked bread fills your house. The only thing is that it has an odd shape with a hole in the end. The fresh comes out soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can pick up a box of bread mix at your local grocery store or you can make your own. Either way it is the most delicious bread you ever tasted. Almost as good as Grandma used to make. I use my bread machine alot and couldnt live without it. You can even make gluten free breads in this machine. Just make sure you put the ingredients in the right order. My family just loves eating homemade bread. A great change from the store bought breads. This machine can even make pizza dough in it. I highly recommend Mr. Coffee Breadmaker to anyone out there who loves homemade...
...

My Breadman Duo is a great machine - I can bake two different loaves of bread at a time! Plus, I can put the ingredients in the night before and set the timer so that I have hot, fresh bread when I wake up. The only downside is that the spinning mixer part always gets stuck in my loaf of bread. It's a non-stick piece, so I have to be very careful not to nick it with my knife, which means digging it out of the bottom of the bread before slicing - this can be messy and hot. The crust selector is a good idea, but doesn't really work. I've set it for anywhere from light to dark crust, but I always get the same result. The recipes are wonderful, and I have been able to enjoy a very large variety of breads with my machine. I absolutely love the convenience of hot, fresh bread with ingredients that I can pronounce, and it makes my kitchen smell so good!
...

Here's the bread machine you've been waiting for. I purchased this one after my old machine started to smoke. Yes, I use it a lot, especially for doughs. We make focaccia, pizzas, soft pretzels and such. I also use it to prepare specialty breads like Polish Babka for the holidays. The Cuisinart Breead Machine saves me a ton of time and effort. I like to hand shape my breads so having the option to have perfect dough at the ready is great for me.

You will certainly enjoy the auto features of this machine. There are options for every conceivable bread/dough type from white, wheat, french, italian to sweet breads, just to mention a few. It also has a special setting for gluten free and low-carb breads. Great for people who have those needs. I counted 16 different menu cycles for 1 LB 1.5 LB or 2 LB loaves.

The machine has audible tones that are especially helpful if you want to bake your bread in the machine but don't care for the little paddle sticking to the middle. When you hear the tone,...
...

I recently received the Chefmate TR7000 breadmaker as a hand me down / gift and I'm in love! I made three loaves of bread my first week. The friend who gave it to me passed it on because he didn't have the manual and couldn't figure it out, but I've found it fairly straightforward. I just did a little googling to figure out the basics and went from there. It only takes 5-10 minutes to get it ready, and a few hours later, I have nice, warm, fresh bread. I can't wait to figure out the more advanced settings, like how to make jam. And the one time I messed up (definitely my fault, not the breadmaker) and had a little bit of an overflow, it was easy to clean up. I understand that it would have cost over $100 new and I'm not sure I would have paid that because I'm on a strict budget, but now that I have it, I can't imagine living without it. Dinners at my house are going to be a lot better from now on, and homemade Christmas gifts a lot easier.
...

The Sunbeam Breadmaker Model 5891 is really a remarkable machine. I really enjoy it especially on the weekends when I am super busy cleaning house and taking care of my 2 year old grandson, who I am raising. I get up early in the morning, get breakfast going and start getting all the ingredients out to make fresh bread, a cake or sweet breads which my family loves. The machine, once all ingredients are put in does the rest leaving me time to chase my grandson and do some housework that is neglected during the week while I work. When afternoon snack comes around or the evening meal, yum-yum, fresh baked bread, cake or sweet bread to go with a fresh cup of coffee or tea.
...

The Sunbeam Breadmachine 5891 has been great! I have owned it for about 2 months, and love it! I make all of the bread my family eats, and started off with an older breadmachine that I hated. Fortunately it finally died, and I got the Sunbeam. I did a lot of shopping around and research, and I am very happy with the result. I only paid $60 for it, and feel like I got quite a bargain. It isn't as big as many of the other breadmachines and it works perfectly. I wish it had double paddles, but that is just a personal preference and the single paddle has worked fine. The viewing window is large and easy to see what is going on without opening the lid. It is very easy to use with a lot of options. I mostly just make dough in the machine and then bake it myself (to get a better shape.) The handle to pull out the pan is a little flimsy when pulling it out of the hot machine with a loaf of bread in it. Other than that, I am more than happy with my purchase!
...

I never thought I could make bread again! All the bread machines in the world could not make bread the way I perfered! I almost gave up. Then I heard from a friend, "Don't give up girl, try the Bread Maker Plus!" So I did. After a quick trip to the store, I had the bread maker in tow. I whipped up a batch of Grandma Tutsi's homemade bread dough and plopped it into my new bread maker. Once I retrieved it from the bread maker I did it, it sliced into the bread a took a nibble. And Oh My Lanta! It was the most scrumptious bread I had ever tasted. It was so easy to slice and the taste was exquisite! I shouted Hallelujah! this is the best bread maker in the world!
...

Bread Machine Sunbeam 5891. I make bread twice a week. I only use the machine to mix the dough, after which I remove the dough from the machine. In my opinion the machine is underpowered. Also, it seems to have plastic or nylon gears and they cause quite a lot of noise when they seem to 'slip.' But my biggest aggravation is that a black gunk forms under the paddle and I get black spots and streaks in the dough. This black gunk seems to be coming from the paddle shaft and shaft bushing. It has become quite loose in the housing and apparently allows some liquid and dough to get into the housing. The mixing must cause this slurry to get hot and mix with particles wearing off in the bushing. It's just my guess. Sunbeam gave me the name of a local small appliance shop to contact, but they just told me that this machine isn't built to be repaired and a new pan would cost $29.00. In my opinion this machine is okay for occassional usage, but not for the kind of use I give...
...

We love our Cusinart Bread Machine. My husband got it for me after I begged for it for mother's day last year. I use it ALL the time since then. It had more features then I thought I would use but then we found out my son has a wheat allergy. It has a gluten-fee setting on it so I am not able to make his bread too! I also use just the dough setting a lot to make either rolls or pizza dough. We are on our second one because the pan kept popping out but they sent me a new one and it had not popped out once! It comes with a recipe book that has some great breads in it. It also beeps to let you know when to add extra things (raisins, nuts, ect) or when to take the paddle out to avoid a big whole in the bottom of your bread. This machine was worth every penny we spent on it!
...

zipknitter says "good but not the greatest" about Breadman bread maker

After my old bread machine was knocked off the counter I had to get a new one and a friend convinced me to buy the Breadman Bread Maker as a replacement. It does a good job, but I don't like the fact that it takes around 90 minutes to make the dough. It also seems to vary from time to time about how the finished bread comes out. This didn't happen on either of the other bread machines I used over the last 6 years and I am still using the same ingreients and recipes, so am not sure if I will continue to use it or will end up getting another model as we really enjoy having home made bread for our meals.
...

I received my Breadman Corner Bakery Bread & Dessert Maker for a birthday present . I use it a lot to make bread and desserts. It is very convenient and easy to use. I love fresh baked bread and this is a great way to make it. It is much easier than the old fashioned way and is much faster, but it tastes just as good. There was a cookbook included with the breadmaker for making different kinds of bread and a lot of different desserts. All you have to do to make bread is follow the bread making recipe. Then you just put the mix in the breadmaker, select the program and baking control and it does all the work. It does all the kneading and all the work for you. You can even add butter if you want the crust buttered. You can even fast bake so that you can have fresh, hot bread in less than an hour. It is just like Mother used to make and the smell and taste are delicious.
...

hlmjade says "I love this product!" about Sunbeam Bread Machine

I got my bread machine as a gift for Christmas. I love how easy it is to use. The Express Bake is a very handy feature. I work long hours and when I get home its time to cook dinner for the family. My family likes the taste of fresh warm bread and now we are able to make it under an hour. My children love being able to watch the bread in the window that it has. They can watch the machine mix and watch the dough rise as well. You can look up many recipes on the internet that you could use with your machine. I grow zucchini every year and I am excited to use a recipe from the user's guide. I also make my own pizza dough from scratch now using the bread machine. It mixes the dough and lets it rise, and then I roll it out by hand. It tastes great, and is much better than spending money on premade dough or dough mixes. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone.
...

PMS707 says "Breadman Breadmaker is like having a bakery in your home" about Breadman bread maker

I got my Breadman bread maker as a wedding gift many years ago from a very good friend. We used it right away and made several loaves of white bread, goat cheese bread, rye bread, whole wheat bread. Then we decided to get creative and make our own home made pizza dough from scratch. Being spice lovers we tried all kinds of doe and hit upon a garlic, basil, parmeasean dough that was out of this world. We have been making our own pizza every since and that was about 8 years ago. I dont know what I would do without this wonderful product. When you bake bread, the smell is so reminiscent of my early childhood while grandma had a loaf baking every afternoon andwe kids couldnt wait to spread butter on a freshly baked loaf. Never once did that bread make it to the dinner table and the same goes for now too. I would recommend this bread maker for anyone. It is easy to use, easy to clean and really a fine additon to any home.
...

We have had the Welbilt bread machine for several years. When my wife first got the machine she used it almost on a daily basis. However, since then it has been used very infrequently. In fact it was packed away for several years before I got it out again for her to use. We have several bread machine books that we use to make bread, rolls and sweets. One of the features I like best about the machine are the receipes that will allow you to mix and rise the dough in the machine, but, you take the dough out to shape and bake separetely. Another benefit of the bread the machine is the wonderful smell of baking bread, nothing compares and brings back many childhood memories of my mother baking bread when I was a child. The feature of the machine that we like the least is the fact that the blade sometimes is very difficult to remove from the bread once it is baked. Usually the crust on the sides of machine the dough touches are more times than not have a very thick and chewy...
...
