This fridge is a great design. Filtered water dispenser that is so cold it doesn't need ice.slide out deli trays keeps meats fresher longer. with 2 pull out crispers you are never out of room. The adjustable shelves are eazy to operate, expecialy the crank handle that allows you to adjust the shelve with little effort. It holds gallon size container in its door. And the cool french door design allows you to look at the entire contents at one glance.This fridge even tells you if you didn't close the door completely. The alarm beeps to tell you that the tempurture is rising so that nothing is ruined. Adjustable digital temp allows you to see the temp in the frezzer and fridge. The frezzer has a slide out drawer with slide out baskets that allows you to get to the contents and the ice with little effort.The frezzer divider keeps everything separate and in its place. all of my appilanices are whillpool and i love each and every one of them, the best i think is my whillpool covection/microoven it defrosts, cooks browns and i even use the timer for dying my hair. makes the best popcorn whitch is my favorite snack. I love the way it defrosts breads, rolls, make biscuits and i do mean it browns them . will bake a chickeb or turkey, makes great meatloft. mac and cheese. Cleans up very easy. has four temp settings whitch i love.. Oh i forgot makes great grilled chees fist i make the sandwitch and then change to convection and it also browns it this protuct isabove and beyond your wildests dreams, would never even think of ever buying any other name brand if knock on wood any thing ever happens to this one GOD forbide i could not live without it. Black & Decker Toast-R-Oven

When our GE 2 Slice Bagel Toaster stopped toasting on one side and now became useless to me, my husband came home with a Black & Decker Toast-R-Oven. I wasn't all that thrilled as I like to be a minimalist as far as appliances sitting out on my counter and unlike the small toaster, this wasn't an appliance that could be put away daily.

Despite the space the Black & Decker Toast-R-Oven takes up on my counter, I have come to appreciate some advantages of housing this toaster oven on my counter.

-I can heat a variety of breads on both sides. It works well for small crustinis or thick sandwich breads that are nightmares in a traditional pop up toaster.

-For some reason, maybe because it is eye level and has the added advantage fo making the ticking sound, I seem less likely to forget about and burn bread.

-It has a 9 inch pizza capacity which I haven't tested because a 9 inch pizza at my house would be a snack but it does work very well for heating up left...

Kenmore Elite Coldspot Undercounter Ice Maker

On a visit to my future would be in-laws home years ago, I found that they had an undercounter ice maker and I thought it was such a convenient idea that I put it on my list of things I wanted in my dream home. I got it and I am very glad to I did.

The Kenmore Elite Coldspot Undercounter Ice Maker, resembles on the outside, and takes up about as much space as, an undercounter trash compacter. Ours has a stainless steel front panel but there are other options as well.

The Kenmore Ice Maker takes the guess work out with a green light for "clean," yellow light for "OK," and red light for "needs cleaning." It is easy to clean. Simply push the clean button and the ice maker will empty. Wipe out the inside and pour the ice maker cleaning solution through the tray as instructed.

When I got engaged, part of the wedding preparations involved registering for gifts. I must say this was a lot of fun =) As we were meandering through the kitchen appliances I spotted the Breville Juicer-Juice Fountain. My mom had a juicer and I used it once every 4 or so months before I got married. This one looked nice and modern compared to the one my mom had that was all white and would get stained from all the carrot stuff. Well we did end up receiving the juicer and I was excited to start using it once we came back from our honeymoon. I usually only make carrot juice. Whenever I start to feel a cold coming on, I juice carrots and I don't get sick. The juicer was powerful and quick. The 3-4 carrots fit in the opening at a time. The only down fall was that the part of the veggie that doesn't get juiced that is supposed to be spit out is collected around the inside of the juicer. So after juicing about a quart or so, the juicer stops and you can't keep juicing unless...

Bought a french door, bottom freezer Maytag fridge two years ago. Spent $2500 to make sure we were getting top of the line. We were big believers in Maytag products since having bought washer and dryer 15 years ago and still running. The fridge is horrible. The icemaker has already broken, the freezer is not keeping temperature, and the panel is blinking. After reading other reviews it seems that this is common with this fridge. I will be paying the repairman but I am sad to say that Maytag is not the same as the Maytag of yesteryear. I recently replaced kitchen appliances with GE!

We bought our new Durabrand Model YD-298 blender about 3 months ago when our old one stopped working. We had some criteria in mind when selecting our new blender. First and foremost we wanted a glass blender. Next, we wanted it to have more than 8 speeds and over 400 watts. I love making fruit smoothies and purreed foods as well so those two speeds were required. I knew that I would need a durable blender that could stand up to repeated and regular use. Finally, this time around I did not want to spend $60 as I did before at Target and then have the blender stop work mysteriously after only 3 months (90 days) of usage. Well, we were out shopping at Walmart one afternoon and I was nervous, but decided to glance in their blender section. There I saw a nice selection of glass blenders at various price points. I would highly recommend the Acawave Microwave by Whirlpool. My partner and I bought a home back in 2007 and when doing our upgrades came across this microwave. The great featurers about this item is, the different choice buttons that are offered. The item has warm up a drink,warm hold, baked potatoe,timer,a baking option.

another reason why we decided topurchase the item was because of our good friend who had one. We had a chance to try the product before when even decided to buy the product. WE were shown all the high tech featurers of the product, how the product works and why we should get it.

The overall quality of this product is Atttttt. The product is realible,well built,comes in nice colors and well fit well in any kitchen. I really don't have anything bad to say againist this item, yet atleast. So far this item has worked really well for me, with no issues at all. I would suggest before you think of buying this item, go to your local Home Depot or Lowes...

The Senseo coffee maker delivers what it promises. The coffee is fresh and tastes as good as buying an expensive cup of 5 dollar coffee from any of the local coffee shops. The water is steamed with high pressure through the coffee pod to deliver a nice foam on the top of your cup like a latte. I am a coffee shop junke and this is a great alternitive to that right in the comfort of my own home without having to get dressed and in the car to get my fix. The one thing I think they could improve upon is the selection on decaf coffee flavors that they offer. I can only find one type of decaf for the senseo right now, and since I only drink decaf that is limiting. If I want a flavored coffee I have to brew it in my coffee pot, which goes stale tasting if it sits more than an hour . The single serve senseo is fresh with every cup and tastes great. I purchased a Kitchen Selectives Toaster in January from a popular home improvement store. This toaster worked very well until it decided to explode a week ago. The warranty's is only six months. Go figure. I used the toaster maybe once a week and keep the crumb catcher clean. I never used the cancel button on the toaster and made sure that the large slots where clean and never cruddy with junk. It was very nice to have on my counter the color matched everything else in my kitchen. It's cost was less than fifteen dollars and since I'm on a tight budget I figured I couldn't go wrong with that deal since I needed one and my children would eat a bagel every-once in a while. I placed a bagel in the toaster plugged it in and set the toasting preference and the next thing I know there was a loud pop and smoke and flames where all over. I just love my new Bunn Coffee Maker. It makes 10 cups of coffee in just about 3 minutes tops. I use to have a coffee maker with a timer on it so it would be ready when I woke up in the morning, Now when I wake up in the morning I start my BUNN BX BREWER and before I can finishing making my bed my coffee is ready. I've only had it for 3 months and it is the best. I don't know why I hadn't purchased one 30 years ago. Anyone looking for a new coffee maker should spend that little extra money and purchase one. One thing you should know is that you should always purchase the BUNN coffee filters made by BUNN, because it brews so quickly that if you use a regular coffee filters it tends to overflow and you may get some grinds in your pot. It is nice when you have unexpected guests, you can offer them a cup of coffee, and it will be ready and very hot in just 3 minutes. No more waiting 20 to 25 minutes for a pot to brew. I Love My Bunn. I highly recommend it to any true coffee drinker....

I am not quite sure how my family would get a home cooked dinner if I didn't have my Rival Stoneware Slow Cooker. I have upgraded from the small version to a larger version with a timer and "auto shut-off/warming" feature. I find this feature very handy when I am running errands or have a busy day planned and want to prepare dinner in the cooker in the morning before I leave. When I was working full time I would often put together a dinner in the slow-cooker the night before and then just keep the stoneware part in the fridge overnight. In the morning I would put it in the cooker section, turn it on and be on my way with dinner waiting when I returned from work. I often prepare large roasts, meatballs, pork chops and various other dishes in this slow cooker. For large groups I will usually put a homemade BBQ sauce together, pour it over a large pork roast and let it go for most of the day. When guests arrive the house smells yummy and everyone can dig in...works great for big crowds.

Oh, I do love my KitchenAid stand mixer! Need to double a cookie recipe? You won't have dough falling out over the sides of your mixing bowl with a 6 quart bowl. Tired of hearing (and smelling) the motor bogging down while mixing stiff doughs? Won't happen. Already killed your old mixer? Replace it with this one.

My grandma had a 4-1/2 quart KitchenAid mixer - my 30-yr old daughter is still using it. Seriously, these things are one of the few remaining high-quality American-manufactured appliances.

I had a 5-qt mixer but I passed that along to my son who loves to cook after receiving this as a Christmas gift from my husband. I know some women take offense at receiving cooking-related gifts, but I'm certainly not one of them!

One of the things I use it for a LOT is mixing meatloaf. I really hate doing it by hand - the meat is cold and hurts my joints, and I have to remove my jewelry so I don't have crusty dried meatwads in it. I use the dough hook - meatloaf is a BREEZE...

Bought this new and have been extremely disappointed in it. Doesn't clean dishes well at all. Stuff on the top rack is often speckled with food, especially inside tall glasses. Top rack doesn't roll easily, even though it's just a few months old. I have tried every dish detergent under the sun and can not find one that works well in this dishwasher. Even liquid detergent doesn't rinse fully off the door during a pots and pans cycle. This dishwasher is only a few months old and I'm wondering if I need to call an appliance repair specialist who can help me troubleshoot why this dishwasher cleans dishes so poorly. My grandmother turned me on to toaster ovens years ago - she and my grandfather trekked all over the country in a camper and then a small trailer after Grampa retired. She was a marvelous cook, and relied on her toaster oven for most of her baking and cooking on the road.

Toaster ovens have come a long way since then! I've had three over the years, and this is the best one I've had so far. Seriously, not a day goes by that we don't use it for SOMETHING. Of course there is the morning English muffin, but this appliance does SO much more.

Interior size: with a roomy 12" x 12" interior, you can even heat frozen pizzas in it. My favorite 9" x 9" Le Creuset baking dish (also reviewed) fits perfectly and I can bake cornbread, chicken breasts, and fish portions without heating up the whole kitchen. Want a quick tray of nachos? Your oven-proof dinner plates will fit right in.

Crumb tray: NEVER, and I mean it, never buy a toaster oven without a removable crumb tray. This...

I purchased this food processor last year, having given my ex the custody of my previous 11-cup Cuisinart food processor. This is truly a heavy-duty appliance and I expect it will last me the rest of my life. Speaking of time - the warranty is 3 years 'bumper to bumper' and 20 - yes - TWENTY - years on the motor! When was the last time you saw anything with a twenty-year warranty?

With 3/4 horsepower (more than my first car, I think), you can chop, blend, shred and grate through just about anything. The cutting disks are all metal - no cracking plastic disks after the first couple of years. (Remember - NEVER put your cutting blades and disks through the dishwasher - treat them like you would your high-quality knives.)

The feed tube system has been changed from my older model - this one is much more convenient. The included whisk attachment makes fabulous whipped cream in no time flat.

The base is shiny stainless steel - real metal, not plastic painted to look like metal. ...

I bought this grill at Costco and thought it was going to be a really awesome addition to my collection of kitchen small appliances and gadgets. I used it approximately five times and sold it on eBay for $5 with the title "Rubber Chicken Machine". At the time I bought it I had five adults to feed on a regular basis, so I wanted the biggest one they made. I was thinking it would be nicer to use an indoor grill during our rainy Seattle weather than standing out at the barbeque.

Problem #1: Because the grill is so big, the 'lid' is naturally heavier. That has the effect of completely pressing any moisture out of the meat being cooked. Yes, it presses the fat out of cheap hamburger (which I don't buy), but it also presses out all other liquid. The result - rubber chicken in record time!

Problem #2: Absolutely one of the most difficult to clean appliances I've ever had in my kitchen. A couple of times I cooked teriyaki-marinated chicken breasts on it, and the teriyaki sauce,...

We bought this coffee-maker over a year ago after reading about it on someone's blog - now there's a first! :) As a Seattle native, I like good coffee - and that doesn't always and only mean Starbucks. I like a good dark roast, and I like it fresh. There's no better way to get a fresh cup of coffee than to make one cup at a time. The brewer I have is a little different from the newer version of the Platinum Brewer on the Keurig website (www.keurig.com) but works essentially the same. You use a single K-cup - a small plastic container with a foil lid - that is filled with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. You open the machine with a lever and put the K-cup inside and close it - the top and bottom of the K-cup are pierced and hot water from the internal reservoir is pumped through it, much like an espresso machine. You can program the machine to turn on and off at specific times of the day, or just leave it on so there is hot water on demand at all times (which is what I do.) ...

I got the Presto Cool Touch electric griddle a few years ago as a Christmas gift. I really love it and it is a great alternative to a frying pan sprayed with non-stick spray.

The griddle is made of non-stick material, not coated with a thin coat of non-stick. I wouldn't suggest it, but on occasion, I have used a metal spatula on it and it's been none worse for the wear.

The surface is large and surrounded by a wide plastic edging. You would have to touch the actual cooking surface to get burned. You won't get burned bumping into the side. The temperature control dial plugs into the side. If you're not sure what temperature to use, there's a little pamphlet included with temperature suggestions for common foods. It heats evenly and warms quickly.

It's great for pancakes, french toast, grilled cheese, bacon and burgers. It's big enough to cook for a family and not have to eat the pancakes in shifts. It's good for bacon because you can have a large surface with a uniform temperature. You...

We purchased an LG diswasher model LDE6920ST 2 months ago. It hasn't gotten the dishes clean yet. The serviceman has replaced the sump and the board and it still doesn't work. LG is stuck into this routine of sending service people out over and over rather than replacing the defective dishwasher. Everytime the service guy comes, he has to order parts that take forever to get here. I'm washing dishes by hand for the first time since 1977. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy an LG. Their service department isn't reliable.
