There are a couple things that I have an addiction to and candles are definitely one of those things. I love having a selection of candles to choose from when one burns out, so I always have a whole bunch in my "candle cupboard". Archipelago Lemon Eucalyptus Soy Candle was my most recent selection from my candle cupboard. It seemed like it would be great because it smelled really good in the jar and is made of soy wax, but I wish it smelled a little stronger while burning.

I don't normally like botanical fragrances like eucalyptus, but the combination of that with lemon is very refreshing. For some reason, I also pick up a slight cinnamon note too, but it seems to work out perfectly. What I like about this candle is that it is made with 70% natural soy wax, which burns longer and cleaner than traditional paraffin wax. This candle has an approximate burn time of 50 hours and I do have to say that it really does burn well. I have burned it for hours and hours and it burns...

Very, very nice quality...and also resilient. My 10 yr old daught loves to roll around on it and it still is as perfect as it was when I bought it...I just roll a lint roller over it, and wa-la! Perfect! I am a busy, slightly messy single mom.... and I just love how it's washer safe... resists most stains.... retains it's shape and softness...and is surprisingly lasting longer than my less formal, run of the mill Walmart sets. I am very pleased from my purchase and will buy from them again... in fact, I rave about them online from Ebay (where I bought it), to friends, family, blogs, friend sites, etc. I have noticed that shortly after I bought the comforter set, it went up about 10% on it's site AND on Ebay...whew! Did I get a great deal or what?! I am also looking at the matching drapes for a present to myself soon, because I know the quality is perfect, and if I have a problem they will refund or replace it...no worries.

The Atlantic Media Shelf that we purchased from Wal-Mart is working real nice for us. And it looks great too. The Atlantic Media Shelf is a dark-brown color. The Atlantic Media Shelf holds up to 261 cd's! We also use the shelves for DVD's, Games, and small books. The Atlantic Media Shelf is made from solid wood and it has a wider base at the bottom of the shelf for added stability and to prevent from tipping over. The Atlantic Media Shelf is inexpensive too, it was less than $30. It is a assembly required product though. Which takes some time and effort to put together. I'd say that it took about an hour to put the Atlantic Media Shelf unit together. But it was well worth it, because if we move it will take much less time to break back down and move with ease and it's easy to store to. We like the Atlantic Media Shelf becuase it looks contemporary, but we didn't pay alot for it. And don't think that just because it was cheap that it's not a quality product, because it's not giving us any...

A couple of years back I was invited to attend to a Party Lite party and I had never heard of it but being a candle lover I was excited to attend.

While attending a party I bought a sample pack of candles along with my sister and later I had my own party at my house.

It turned out great and I got a lot of great deals for having it. I got a ton of candles and even some great decorating supplies too.

My favorite thing about Party Lite is the variety of candles available and the way they burn. They don't leave any reside in the candle holder and they burn clean. You know how sometimes you burn a candle and there is still wax in the bottom of the jar not with Party Lite the candle disappears some how and your left with a candle holder you can use again and a again.

The candles are a little pricey but if you can find a group of friends to invite over and they will buy some it will save you a ton of money and allow you to get something you would normally not be able to do before.

I have at some point tried these candles and they are very good candles I wouldd like to see more of them in stores I am willing to pay what ever the price may be. They give a good scent to the hold house and last a very long time. I've only found these candles in a few store I think that really they should have there on store because the candles is on the money I love it I love it and you will as well so get out there and do what has to be done buy these candles now they are wel wroth it

I was looking for a comfortable sofa to add to my living room set and decided on this Jordan's Power Play sofa. Although, this is part of a complete set, the store owner was able to sell me just the couch piece. The customer service I received and the product itself made my purchasing furniture day, complete.

The polyester filled pillow top seat cushion and the channeled polyester filled back makes this a very comfortable couch and one that sleeping comes easy in the middle of a sleepy Saturday afternoon. Highly recommended for those that have back issues and find couches uncomfortable after sitting for awhile.

I am looking forward to buying the rest of this complete set and I sincerely will continue to purchase and buy high quality furniture from this furniture store. Not sure if Jordan's is a national chain but highly recommended for those within the New England area. Knowing I love candles, my mom recently gave me a Lasting Impressions Natural Timber Wick Vanilla Candle. At first glance, this candle appeared to be very cool, possibly the coolest candle I've ever owned. As it turned out, it's one of the worst candles I've ever owned.

What makes the Lasting Impressions Natural Timber Wick Vanilla Candle so neat is that the wick is actually a thin piece of wood. The label on the candle says "Natural Timber Wick...crackles as it burns!".

Just the aspect of a candle that would crackle was enough for me to light it immediately to satisfy my curiosity. If only I could get it to light. I almost threw it in the trash after several unsuccessful attempts of lighting the candle. Since the wick is a piece of wood, it doesn't just light up immediately like a traditional wick. I would light the timber wick and it would burn for a little bit and slowly burn out. Very aggravating. Probably on my sixth or seventh try, it finally took and kept burning. ...

I really like Partylite items, they are interesting, attractive, and smell great. But what's with the price? This stuff is so expensive, you really can find something similar at your local chain store like Target, or K-Mart. Unless it is something that you just HAVE TO HAVE, I would say pass. There are some great candles out there that smell just as good and don't smoke and have no lead in the wick. I found some awesome candle holders at Bed, Bath, and Beyond that were gorgeous and less than half the price. Parties are fun to go to, but limit your purchases....

I have always loved walking into a home and just having it smell so good that you just stop and take a deep breath. I have tried all types of scented candles and airfresheners (since I have a dog) and either the candles are so sweet they give me a headache and make my eyes burn or the scented plug ins just seem to burn out in a couple of weeks but when I saw that Glad had a new product on the market called Glade scented oil candles, I had to try it. I just love the fact that they are still like a candle so you get that ambiance, but they are also an oil so the whole house fills up with the most delicious fragrences with out the burning eyes and black sulfar all over the glass jar like others I have tried. The tin is so attractive that you can put it anywhere and it just adds to the decor of the room. They are also a great hostess gift or a stocking stuffer. I just love them and I know you will too.

I really love the smell of the Coconut Bay Yankee candle. I prefer to buy it in this twenty-two ounce size than any other because it lasts longer and is a better value than the smaller sizes. I couldn't find this candle for awhile and when I checked in Yankee Candle stores, I thought they said it was discontinued but I'm glad to see it's not discontinued. I usually buy Yankee Candles at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They usually always have coupons that they deliver in the mail and you can get twenty percent off of your purchase or like five dollars off or sometimes ten dollars off a purchase. The Coconut Bay candle smells just like you're on the beach, like a tropical drink or coconuts. It's delicious but at the same time I don't think the scent is too strong or over whelming. The classic white color of the candle is perfect for displaying in various palces throughout your home. I like to keep it in the kitchen or on the fireplace mantle to display.

I love this great summertime fragrance in Yankee candels. It reminds me of going to the pool as a kid and my mom would put Coppertone suntan lotion on us kids. It smells just like it! It's a wonderful fragrance to use during the summer to give your house that suntan lotion, beachy smell. Or, you could always light it during the cold winter months and it could remind you that it will once again be warm outside in just a matter of time. Yankee is my favorite candle company and I buy these candles often. They have high quality candles that each have long burning times. Yankee offers so many scents in so many variteis and I have even purchased candles for the pretty color of the candle (the candles that come in glass jars). I used to put Yankee candles on our fireplace mantle where we had two pillars and I would put one candle (the largest Housewarming size)on each pillar for a symetrical look and then change them with the months or seasons.

Yankee candles are the best! If you are looking for a way to scent your house, these candles are the way to go. We have pets and I have had to use air freshners and different room sprays but they are only temporary and have to be sprayed often to scent the whole house. With Yankee candles all you have to do is light one and after burning a short while, it will start to make your whole house smell good. They do cost a bit more but the burn time and the amount of fragrance you get is worth it.

I bought my Lane sofa seven years ago and it has been the best sofa I have ever had. This is also the first NEW sofa I have even owned. I was able to go with my mom and we were able to find it in the first store we went in to! It is wide enough without being too deep and has the support that makes you want to nap on it or even spend the night there! It is a three cushion wide, skirted base, with rolled arms. My family fights to see who will get the couch when we watch movies and my daughters boy friends don't mind having to sleep there when they come to visit as they say it is the best sleep they get! The covering is getting a little shabby but I hate to replace such a comfortable sofa so I may just recover it unless I can find another Lane this comfortable! The only thing I would change about this sofa is that the back cushions are sewn on and after awhile of people getting up off the sofa they started to come apart. I would go with detached back cushions next time.

I don't have a duvet, but I do have a white goose down comforter and this protects it just the same. The gold color is really pretty with some matching throw pillows, and the reverse button closure keeps buttons hidden while making it easy to remove the cover for occasional washings. I like that I can switch from using this as a comforter cover to using it to cover a quilt, while keeping my bedding the same throughout the seasons (sometimes I just don't feel like switching all the bedding and decorations!). It's very soft, not scratchy - my husband actually prefers to sleep directly under the duvet cover because he likes the way it feels better then our expensive sheets! Best of all, it's machine washable. Just be careful not to put it in with any bleach, as it does get bleach spots very easily (I had to buy fabric dye to fix it). This company also offers coordinating sheets, shams, and pillow cases.

I have a thing for tassels. When it comes to decorating my home, you won't have to go far to find tassels or fringe dressing up a few pillows or accenting a window. So, when I bought a pair of Berkshire Thermal Drapery Panels (reviewed here) I bought two Berkshire M-Shape Valances to go with them. I have pinch-pleated drapes on a traverse rod, so I definitely need a decorative valance to cover the traverse hardware.

For a very reasonable price of $16.99 each, the M-Valance measures a generous 70 inches wide by 18 inches long. As with the matching curtains, the M-Valance is made of 58% cotton and 42% polyester, which makes them machine washable. What I like most about the valance is that it is shaped like an "M," which gives it a more interesting look than a straight cut valance. In addition, it has the pretty tassled trim that I'm so fond of. The M-Valance comes in 4 colors: bronze, ivory, sage, and silk (my choice), and the overall appearance is understated elegance.

During the summer, I enjoy the look of semi-sheer panels against my patio door. Sheer curtains let in a lot of light, but on the downside, they let in the chill during the colder months. Since it is already getting cooler, I decided to swap out my sheers for something more practical--Bershire Pinch-Pleated Thermal Drapery Panels. I found these curtain panels at Overstock.com and quickly made a purchase.

The Berkshire drapes are energy-efficient, and are lined with an off-white insulated material. The front of the drapes have a subtle slub pattern that reminds me of antique satin. Of course, these panels are made of 58% cotton and 42% polyester, but they do have a hint of elegance in their appearance.

My favorite points about the Berkshire Thermal Drapes:

Energy Efficient - Keeps cold weather outdoors in winter; and cool air indoors during summer.
Privacy - Obviously the lining means that these offer privacy that semi-sheers can't provide.

I brought my LazyBoy "wraparound" Sofa over five years ago and the mico material is very durable. When I went to shop for the sofa I feared that I would not find anything to my liking. The sales person showed me several different sofas and my girlfriend saw this sofa and said she was going to purchase it. I liked it as well and decided to purchase the same sofa. I had a sleeper added to the sofa and everyone who has slept on the sleeper indicates that it is very comfortable. I have received many compliments on this piece of furniture. Since I had the sofa it was only cleaned once. The "wraparound" sofa includes a recliner and a chasis. Initially , I thought the sofa would be too large and take away from my family room but the sofa is a perfect fit. I am hoping to have this sofa for many years to come. I think I made a good investment and LazyBoy has the reputation to produce quality furniture.

I used to be a Glade/Airwick/Febreeze snob and only bought Bath & Body Works Wallflowers. A friend decided I should try these noticeables and am I ever glad that I did!

Not only does it alternate the smell, but they come in such delicious flavours it's hard to get bored of any of them at one time! Also, they are so affordable compared to my previous brand that I can have them throughout the house. I guess it also helps that P&G always releases great coupons so I can always have a stock on hand.

My favourite scent is the one that has Melon Berry mist and also the Pineapple one. Both are great for my hallways, near my kitchen, and my living room. Whenever I come through any of these places, I can ALWAYS smell it - and it's not an overpowering smell, it's the kind that you just want to breathe in and it makes you smile!

I now swear by Febreeze (and no, I don't work for them!) and am particulary in love with this product because not only has it saved me money in the long run, but it also makes...

I had bought this spray and the matching candle because I had a coupon for buy the candle get the spray free and boy am I glad I did! The spray smells wonderful and the candle smells wonderful... The candle is long gone but I use the spray everyday! Smells sooo good...like fall in a can! The scent is actually pretty strong so you hardly need to spray it at all...which means that this will last longer also. This scent makes your whole house smell like you have been cooking pumpkin pie...I don't know about you but that specific smell brings a smile to my face...makes me want to bake some pies to eat. I really enjoy the Febreeze brand and love that they are always coming out with new scents. I trust this brand to eliminate odors and to always smell great. The only thing I don't like about this scent is that it is only available in the fall. I think that they should carry all the scents all the time.
