LaurieM says "I passed on Dr. Leonard's Shoe Organizer and you should too! " about Dr. Leonard's 24 Pair Shoe Organizer

Well, our family has a definite shoe problem. My husband, two boys and I have way too many shoes and nowhere to put them. Most of them end up in a huge pile in front of the door that looks like an unattractive mess. One day when I could barely get the door open because of all the shoes, I decided it was time to get organized. I started searching online and eventually found what I thought would be a great solution. It was Dr. Leonard's 24 Pair Shoe Organizer. It looked quite durable and had a lot of space so I ordered it for the "cheap" price of $16.99 plus shipping and tax. I said cheap instead of inexpensive for a good reason. — My Experience — This organizer has a transparent PVC zip front with a corrugated frame. The dimensions are 24"W x 26"H x 11 1/2"D. When I received the shoe organizer in the mail, I was shocked when I opened the box to find cardboard. "Cheap" cardboard. It was really awful stuff. Not durable at all. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting when...

LoveisJoy says "This Chrome Paper Towel Holder is Functional, yet Polished" about Real Organized Chrome Paper Towel Holder

I spend a lot of time thinking about the small details when I'm decorating a room. The small details don't cost much, but they can add polish to a room. In this case, the plastic paper towel holder in my powder room had seen better days, and I wanted something nice to replace it with - in silver, chrome, or pewter. I checked out Lowes and found the Real Organized Wall-Mount Chrome Paper Towel Holder. I wanted a holder that could be hung vertically, and was surprised at the number of paper towel holders can only be installed horizontally. This product is nice because it can be hung either way without affecting its function. In addition, I chose the Real Organized brand because it has a sleek design that won't interfere with the rest of the décor. It's like a bit of jewelry for my powder room. — After seeing different versions online, we went to our local Lowes to purchase the paper towel holder. I was pleased that it looked...

bburroughs says "What's that refreshing smell? I just noticed it!" about Procter & Gamble Febreze NOTICEables

Ahhh...the Febreze Noticeable...I have nothing but positive things to say about this handy product. Well, I take that back. I wish the refills were available in more frangrances. Back to the pros: it really is "noticeable!" There are two seperate yet complimentary scents in each refill that take turns, so to speak. Each time the fragrance switches, your nose takes notice. I always had the problem of getting used to a scent in the home. I would forget it until I step outside for a minute...then when I come back inside, I'm like, "Ohhh yeah, my house DOES smell like Clean Cotton!" With the Febreze Noticeable, I don't have to step OUT to remember that I have PURCHASED something to make my house smell better! Also, it's very easy to change out the refills. Just pop 'em in and plug 'em in. You can choose either a high or low setting. I change mine at will; if I decide I want it to last longer I put it on low, and if I want a burst of frangrance I put it on high....

I absolutely love Ikea. At first when it came to my city, I didn't know what all the fuss was about, but once I got in there, I knew. It is a huge warehouse full of great prices and unique, Scandanavian products. I'm the queen of cheap, so it was heaven for me. I furnished all of my kitchen and linen needs in under $125. I got pillows, comforters, curtains, pots & pans, dishes, towels, rugs, you name it! I love going there just to see what I can get for cheap. — — Also, I love their breakfasts, because trust me, I'm there before they open up. — — Now, if you're looking for something that's longer lasting, you may want to purchase the higher quality items they have there (still great prices), but if you're on a budget (for students going away to college especially), and you're trying to stretch your dollar, this is the place to go. My items have lasted at least a year without needing to be replaced. I...

Let me start off by saying that I am not one of those women who has a love affair with her shoe collection. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate a pretty shoe as much as the next female; I just don't happen to own more than one dozen pairs. Although my shoe collection is modest by today's standards, I still noticed that I needed to get my shoes organized and off of the floor. After some searching at Amazon.com, I discovered the perfect organizing solution: the Whitney Design Expandable 2-Shelf Chrome Plated Shoe Rack. The shoe rack retails for a reasonable $11.99, so I bought two for just under $25 (plus I added a $1.25 coloring book to my order to qualify for free shipping!) — Whitney Design Expandable Chrome Shoe Rack — This two-shelf rack is made of heavy-duty steel tubing with a modern chrome finish. It does require assembly, but I had no problems (at least not once I figured out that I had reversed the side panel). Luckily, it was also...

Because I was buying so many Mia Bella Candles, I did become a distributor and my therefore be somewhat biased. Nonetheless, the true and scentsational scent throw of these candles is amazing. They do burn clean and straight-across to the bottom of the jar. As stated in another review, Mia Melts and simmer pots for a flameless scent is also available. —

I especially like them because we have big dogs and with a Mia Bella burning, our house smells fresh and wonderful. No icky soot on the walls either. I believe in these candles so strongly that I can't stop spreading the word about my great find. You can find them at AdaGourmetCandles.com. —

Great company, great price, and an awesome product. Candle lovers will be hard pressed to find a better product. —...

I love having a nice smelling home and have used scented candles for many years. Now that I have two young boys, who are constantly roughhousing with our big dog and a cat that climbs all over, the open flame of a candle scares me. I am so afraid that it will be knocked over and start a fire. I recently came across the Mia Bella Simmer Pot at flameswithflair.com. It's safer than candles but not quite the perfect solution. — About Mia Bella's Scent Simmer Pot... — Mia Bella's Scent Simmer Pot is an electric simmer pot, which can be used with Mia Bella Mia Melts or with any simmer wax, fragrance oil or potpourri. (When using fragrance oils or potpourri keep container half full with water.) Included is a 40-watt light bulb that melts the scented wax. This pot is currently available in the color white only. — The manufacturer notes the following precautions while using this Simmer Pot:...

I purchased 4 of Redi shades first time ( not the temporary ones). They come with two very poor quality plastic brackets for mounting the top flimsy hollow thin plastic rod. The rod bows under the weight of the shade. I called Redi shade. Very reluctantly they sent me 4 brackets to add one additional bracket in the center. The customer service had a very bad attitude. — — Later on I went out and bought 6 more of these as I liked these , provided you use 3 brackets for mounting each of them, so that they do not fall down when you pull them down. I called customer service at Redi Shade to give me 6 more brackets so that I could use 3 brackets to mount each of these . They were very rude and told me that they can not provide the needed brackets to complete the mounting and I should just return them to the store I bought them from. So, I packed these Redi shades and returned them. In the process I wasted my time and gas!!! — — My overall impression of...

I bought the Yankee Candle Lemon Lavender Housewarmer Candle because I was placing a big order through the company web site and was on a big "lemon" kick. I figured that tart, crisp lemon would temper the lavender that I wasn't so crazy about to produce a wonderful and pleasant fragrance. This candle doesn't smell anything like I thought it would, but it is still very nice and something that I like to use. — This light lavender candle smells like super-sweet lemons with an almost equal amount of lavender. I expected a tangy, tart, and sharp lemon fragrance with a hint of herbal lavender, but the Yankee Candle Lemon Lavender Housewarmer Candle is much sweeter and softer than I had hoped for. This fragrance is enough to fill my small bathroom, but not powerful enough to spill out of the room and down the hallway into the kitchen or bedroom even after hours of burning. — This candle adds a pleasant and refreshing fragrance to our...
