Customer service suggested I'd get all the answers I need at managemyhome.com (a sears site). Hmmm, a funny thing was there. It was a .pdf file of my owners manual. It will most certainly keep a room, even a large room cool. The only problems with it are that it will blow every piece of paper within a short distance around the room. It is also very loud.
