NoCashBob says "Best Grill I've Ever Used" about Broil King Signet 90

First off, CyndiA, I can't stand reviews from people who have not even used this grill! — — Now for those who want a real review from someone who actually has used the grill (I own one, 'natch ^_^) this is for you. — — The key point to my review is this: The Broil-King Signet 90 is an inredible grill for the money. If you're in the market for a gas grill that will make you wonder what it was you were grilling on before, this is the one for you. The temperatures are HOT, and the heat levels are rock steady across the grates! Here's an example that might illustrate what I'm talking about. — — The very first time using this grill I chunked down two New York Strip Steaks at 1 1/4" thick. The first I diamond-grilled at 1:45x4, which came out a gorgeous tip-above-rare, and the second I cooked at 2:15x4 which came out equally gorgous medium. Do these time sound familiar? Thought so! But do you know *why this sounds familiar? I'll tell you! — As I...

I bought ours in 2007, and it has served us well. It sat outside on the front patio all winter and hardly rusted at all! The size is perfect for two people, it's very portable, and will most likely still be useable should we have to move to smaller digs anytime soon. The perfect size to take to the...

I received the Rival KC Smoker for Christmas in 2007. I probably should use it more, so that I could learn more about it. The food comes out great, moist and tasty. I have no complaints about that. Even the clean up hasn't been bad. The only complaint I would have is that when I follow the temp control settings on the dial, the meat cooks too fast with not much smokey flavor. The baby backs were super though.......So, like I tell my kids "Practice makes Perfect"! I will keep...

mysticstarfish says "Don't cook your food over chemicals use Cowboy Charcoal" about Primo Grills & Smokers Cowboy Charcoal PR608

This year we switched from a gas grill to a charcoal grill. The decision for the change was based on taste. We feel food cooked over charcoal has more flavor. — We were introduced to Cowboy Charcoal by a neighbor. He told us it was the best, so we bought a bag not knowing what to really expect. — As soon as you open the bag, the difference is noticeable. There is no smell of chemicals. When you take a piece out of the bag, you can see the difference between the Cowboy Charcoal and the briquette type. The Cowboy looks like real wood. — Some companies have now added lighter fluid to make their product more convenient. It takes a long time for the igniter to burn off the coals, which means you are cooking your food over the chemicals used in the igniter. Also, these briquettes tend to produce more ash and burn at a lower heat. — The Cowboy Charcoals are hardwood. They are a natural product which...

Last summer my husband said he was tired of cooking on his gas grill. He didn't like the flavor, or lack of, from the gas grill. I purchased the Char-Griller Smokin' Pro as a Christmas present for him. In the early spring he put it together, and quite quickly. The assembly was very easy. I love the cooking area of the grill...it's huge! Nothing like our expensive, big name gas grill. The grill is able to hold enough food for a large party and everyone gets to eat at once, not in sessions. I have had on the grill at one time, chicken, steaks, scallops and clams for 10 people. It all fit and cooked great. The only negative about this grill is the available side smoker (sold separately). It adds weight to the frame of the grill making it not as stable as without the smoker. I feel the smoker is too heavy for the frame. I did not purchase this smoker based upon viewing it at the store. The price of the grill is...

I enjoy my weber grill. I had never grilled before till this year when I bought my grill. I had taken my children to the park and used one of the grills at the park and made hot dogs and hambegers. I had never grilled like I wanted too at home like I can now. I made some great ribs for the first time ever. I purchased my grill at Lowe's. In Michigan....

CyndiA says "Great road trip or tailgate grill - Weber Smokey Joe." about Weber Smokey Joe Gold Charcoal Grill

I got a Weber Smokey Joe tailgate grill many years ago. Our household goods were in storage with a military move. I wanted to grill out, so I picked up this small grill by Weber. — The little Weber grill works just as well as the big one. It has the same kettle shape that means even cooking. The vents on top help with heat regulation. The bigger one has bottom vents. This one does not. Too messy I'd say. — Obviously the Weber Smokey Joe won't hold as much as the larger sized Weber grills, but it holds more than I would have thought. It works fine for family cook outs (and uses less charcoal), and it's a nice second grill for side dishes or hot dogs. — When I want to cook up small amounts, I generally grab this little grill. We use it about once per week. We also take it on trips like to concerts or ballgames. — If you do use the Smokey Joe for tailgating, be sure to take some water to make sure the coals are out before you put the grill back in your car....

Great big ol grill. Works fine except for 1 thing, the center 3 burners all rusted out within 2 summers. This is what you get with imported crap from China. I don't mind too much yet since I got the grill for $150 so if I get a few more summers out of it, I can chuck it and get a better one. My old cast aluminum Sears grill lasted over 15 years. — We'll see how long it takes to get replacement burners from this company. If you buy them from a 3rd party grill company they go for $29-39 each. —...

My husband and I had to purchase a new gas grill and I was not looking forward to it. I was used to the old gas grill with the lava rocks and didn't think I would like the new grills without them. We shopped around and talked to the sales staff about the different grills. We decided on the Charbroil name brand first of all because it has been around for a long time and secondly it was a model that had everything I wanted. The best thing of all is that there is a lifetime guarantee on the burners, this is something that we did not find on any other grills. We talked to a customer that was returning a Perfect Flame grill that he purchased last year at Lowes because the burners had rusted out over the winter and he is unable to replace them and Perfect Flame does not have them in stock and is not willing to replace them for him. Lowes was good enough after some lengthy argument to replace the gas grill for him, they gave him the same grill...

We bought this grill a month ago. Our family is spilt between the vegitarians and the meat eatters. Other grills have had the tendency to have too little room to be able to dedicate different areas so the meat juices do not get near the vegitables. It keeps the vegetables so both the veggies and the carnivores are happy. — It is large enough to entertain the entire neighborhood and not have people waiting for a long time to get their stuff. — We appreciate being able to grill in the summer so the house can stay cool. I would recommend this grill to everyone. —...

My wife and I walked the isles 7 stores and did our homework based on inventory available. I found a grill that was for me at Target and walked up to the checkout to learn it was not in stock. No more information, just not in stock... We found another grill at Menards that we felt was in our price range, but on closer inspection it had no side burner for pots. Had a fair price point just lacked the luster. We felt we would stop by Sears on our way home on Tuesday night (day #3 of shopping for grills). I had a young man jump in and check up on each of my questions and when a senior sales person, or department expert, became available he transferred me to him and explained each one of my concerns. Well, that guy was truly an expert and he not only knew when lava rock was discontinued, but he also knew why. He pointed out all the accessories and gave us pointers on sizes of things and what to get for a proper fit.
