My husband was bugging me to get him a Big Green Egg (BGE) for his birthday this year, so I finally caved and got it. It was more expensive than I wanted to pay, so I was leary about how good a grill it would be and was hoping it wouldn't disappoint. It definitely didn't! This grill/smoker/oven is fantastic! Everything we have cooked on it has come out great. It's good for beginners since it's nearly impossible to mess up the food. We've smoked ribs, grilled salmon, steaks, chicken, and more. We even made pretzels in it. They all came out great. My husband said it is awesome how moist everything comes out. We never got that on our old BBQ. The only drawback on the grill is you have to be careful when lifting the lid. If you do it too quickly the top vent flies off and hits the ground. It is fairly expensive (we got the medium sized one) but it truly is worth the investment.
...

I Purchased a charbroil Commercial Series Stainless Grill from reputable big box store. The grill is impressive to look at! I did enjoy using it and it cooked well. Two years after ownership I was grilling steaks and my wife noticed lots of smoke. I ran out and was able to see an out of control fire beneath the lid. I grabbed a hose and began soaking. After extinguishing and turning off the gas it became apparent that the carryover tubes were totally rotted out allowing an out of control gas fire in the grill. Further inspection revealed rotted material where the grates sit. Upon notifying Charbroil and sending pics as requested I go nowhere. This is a disreputable company who does not want to take ownership of a grill obviously made from the worst material available. THIS GRILL IS DANGEROUS!! DO NOT BUY
...

I've been looking for a smoker. Looking at Brinkman electric but, found this one at the Goodwill. Looked up the reviews before buying and WOW! Paid $26.00 and it is wonderful. I just smoked a pork butt. It came out juicy and extremely flavorful. Missing the instruction manual but, was able to figure out. My next project will be a chicken and some veggies. Clean up wasn't bad either. I am glad I found this smoker and at a bargain basement price. The power cord was too short. Got heavy duty extention cord at Home Depot and was all set. For a novice smoker/griller like me, this was the best deal!
...

While I am not happy about the off white enamel on the grill. It heats up quickly and the price is worth it. The food is done quickly and is evenly cooked unlike some other grills. The cover for it is rather cheap in design so I would opt for a more sturdier and hardier cover for the grill. It has an under area storage that has spider protection and an area so the gas tank can not be seen. It has a side burner that also heats quickly or just to warm things and a side try to place your plates on. There is a thermostate on the cover that lets you know when the grill is hot enough to throw the meat on.

It did take several hours to put the grill together but in the end it was worth time and effort. The grill has wheels on the bottom so it is easily moved from one spot to another or in the event you want store the grill for the winter. There are ventilation holes for the gas tank area but there is also spider protection so that the critter can't get in clog the equipment.
...

I will have to tell you, this grill has definately made my busy life a great help. This grill is eary to use, easy to clean, and simply a joy to have. When the winter has come, it is very cold outside and this has allowed my family to have "hot off of the grill" food during the winter as well.

I enjoy the fact that i can make multiple foods at the same time since i have quite a large, and demanding, family. The grill is also very quick and fast which makes cooking time a breeze after a long day at work.

I had wanted to get this grill for awhile, but was still a little leery of its merits. I finally bought it anyway, and so far, have been loving it! I anticipate that during the summer it will replace my oven.

I cook a lot of chicken, either in the skillet, or in the oven. With this grill, you don't have to worry about turning the chicken, watching it, etc. All I really do it watch the clock. The first night I had the grill, I made salmon fillets, and they turned out great.

These are wonderful grills. They cook everything to perfection! We have not cooked anything on this grill in the past two years since we bought it that has come out bad. Everything is juicy, has a smoky flavor and is easy to cook. We have cook everything from meat to brownies on here and I have no complaints.

This is the most versatile grill that I have ever seen. You can grill, smoke, bake, etc. Anything that you can do inside on the stove or oven you can do on the Big Green Egg. Some of my favorites are Chili, pancakes, quesadillas and of course boston butt and brisket.

I would recommend this grill to anyone who loves to cook. There are also great resources for learning to cook on the Egg. The Big Green Egg forum has many recipes and Eggheads who are willing to help you make the most of this amazing product. The Big Green Egg stores are also wonderful. They are willing to help you with any questions that you have. And if you have not heard of Eggfest you should find one now close to you....
...

We love our little Jamie Oliver BBQ. It is well worth the extra we had to pay for it. It has a double stainless steel wall, which cooks the steaks to perfection. Plus, it is very attractive sitting on our picnic table when we are camping. Lots of campers have walked over to us and commented on it, saying they've never seen one like that. It is comparable in looks to the little Weber you see so often, but with the stainless steel bowl and legs it sure outshines the Weber. What is a nice little feature also, is it has 3 attached clamps that keep the lid firmly in place when not in use. We would definitely reccommend it to anyone who loves to BBQ.
...

My George Foreman George Foreman Small Champ Grill is my go- to grill and favorite kitchen appliance. I recently moved in to a NYC apartment and was shocked with the lack of kitchen counter space. This grill has been my SAVIOUR! It is the perfect compact size, and fits perfectly on my tiny countertop with room for my cutting board and kitchen supplies.

Aside from it being the perfect fit on my countertop it grills up all my meals extremely FAST! Coming home from work, I marinate a couple chicken breasts and throw them on the grill top and they are perfectly cooked and ready to eat in under 8 minutes. I am constantly cooking chicken, steaks, fish and veggies on this little grill and they always taste great and healthy!!

It is also really easy to clean- especially if you purchase the George Foreman grill sponges. After my meal I do a quick wipe down of the grill plates with the sponge and it's perfectly clean! They plates are also removable and you can thrown them in the dishwasher...
...

I had received the George Foreman Grilling Machine as a gift a few years ago. It has proven to be a mainstay in our kitchen as we use it often. I love the fact that the raised grill really does direct the fat and grease away from the food which makes the food itself taste better and is overall healthier with less fat. Because it has the ability to close the top onto the food, the meat cooks faster and more completely. I can not eat any meat with pink in it at all. But with the George Foreman Grill, I have no worries of that as it cooks from the top and bottom. I gave one to my son in law as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and he has raved about it ever since. They use it constantly as they are big steak and chicken eaters who live in the long winters of the North so they can not use the outdoor grill so much. They have already dropped hints for a newer model for this Christmas as they have almost worn out the first one.
...

The George Foreman GRP4 A Lean Mean Fat Grilling Machine was given to me as a gift a while ago. At first, I felt that this product took up too much space on my small kitchen counter, but I tried it, and it was quite worth the space.

The George Foreman GRP4 A Lean Mean Fat Grilling Machine worked very well in removing most of the fat off my meat patties. It was so gross to see how much fat rooled off my meat and it all just came dripping down the machine.

However, I did not like the fact that the oil drips from the sides sometimes and cause quite a mess everywhere. You would need a plate or container to collect hte oil dripping down.

Cleaning is also kind of hard because the cord is connected to the machine, adn obviously, you can't get that wet, so I coulnd't just stick the grill under hte water in my sink. It was a hassle keeping hte cord of the way while washiing my machine. And I hate touching oil, because my hands get gross, and it takes a lot of soap to get the greasy oil off this....
...

I have gone through a myriad multitude of cheap charcoal chimneys. You know, the ones from Wal-mart. The shiny, narrow-profiled tubes of directional heating. The inexpensive ones that you think are a good deal.

I was wrong!

When my last set (yes, I would use two of these slender chimneys at at time) rusted away into razor-sharp shards, I decided to try the Weber Chimney Starter. I'd looked at it before, lusted after its large charcoal capacity, its dual handle system, its conical briquet grill, its heavy-duty construction. But I'd always cheap-out and get another couple of rustbuckets.

The Weber Chimney Starter revealed to me the folly of my cheap ways. Here was a tool, not a gadget, that worked, that did exactly what it was supposed to do, and did it better than the Cheapy McGeneric charcoal chimneys. It holds more charcoal, it holds more newspaper to start the charcoal, it's tough and sturdy, and overall is a joy to use.

George Foreman GRP4 A Lean Mean Fat Grilling Machine is excellent for anyone wanting to trim off the fatty grease from foods they eat. I have been struggling with my weight since my last child and this is a perfect little grill for those who want something easy to use. I found that you can make so many different things. I started making gruilled ham and swiss sandwhiches and would freeze them afterward for a quick lunch or dinner later on that week. I have cooked many egg, ham, roast beef, and other meat sandwhices on this little grill. And, last week I made a small steak and it was cooked perfectly. The only thing I would say is that you need to take the time to clean it very well after use. It has the knotches in it, so things can stay stuck in it. I found using Pam spray on it works best to keep things from sticking to it. I know it will be a great tool for many like me seeking things that are simple to use and gives us a better arrange of less fatty foods to eat.

...

The Cobb Premier Portable Stainless Steel Grill is very convenient for apartments, camping or small patios. It is small and compact and fits well into its carrying case. We have used this grill as our primary outdoor cooker for two years and it has not failed us yet.

The grill uses about ten charcoal briquettes and also features a moat for added flavor.

It is very attractive, lightweight, and appears to have a high quality construction. However, this grill is not designed for the fast-order cook. You must take your time and not open the lid often while cooking, or you will lose all of the heat.

The Cobb is a great grill but it needs some getting used to and also some patience. It can be really hard to clean, but putting water in the moat helps (although it lowers the temperature) as does cooking spray on the surface. We always spray the insides with non-stick spray for easier clean-up.
...

CyndiA says "Can't get charcoal started? Try FlameDisk - very easy grilling. " about FlameDisk Flame Disk

If you are grilling challenged but love the idea of grilling outdoors, then FlameDisk could be your solution. FlameDisk is a charcoal alternative. It's an ethenol tray that fires fast and takes any challenge out of trying to rock a tailgate or home barbecue party when it comes to firing up.

I own a grilling and barbecue web site called Yes You Can Grill, so I check out loads of new grilling products and accessories for outdoors. A lot of the grill products do not do it for me, but FlameDisk was a hit.

FlameDisk looks kind of like an aluminum pie plate with a top and bottom. Between is the fuel which looks very much like candle wax with wicks through the holes in the top plate.

To use FlameDisk, just put it in the charcoal grill rather than charcoal. Then light one of the spots in the FlameDisk top (matches even come included).

The fire starts right up and is steady and even. If it gets a little too hot, just cap the lid on the grill as you would with charcoal. That damps the air down and...
...

I really love to cook and grill, but I also like to eat heallthy, so this George Foreman GRP4 A Lean Mean Fat Grilling Machine is a great appliance for me and the perfect solution for a great and healthy grilled dinner. The first thing I loved about the product was how small and compact it was. It easily fit in the corner of my kitchen counter and had a great contemporary look, plus it is easy to use. The device as interchangeable plates that I loved because it meant easy cleaning. I first used this to grill some vegetables and since the plates grill from both sides, the vegetables cooked up perfectly and so easy. Since the grill plates are nonstick, there is no need to use greasy oils or butter. I then used this to make some grilled veggie sandwiches and I loved the taste of the crisp panini bread and the tender asparagus and eggplant. If you are a meat lover, you will love this too because it cooks up meats tender and fast and drains the juices so you keep the flavor and...
...

mama2madalynn says "This grill has made many delicious foods for us!" about Uniflame Charcoal Grill

We had bought a Uniflame Charcoal Grill from Wal-Mart about 3 years ago and we just love it. We haven't had any problems with it at all. The grill on the Uniflame Charcoal Grill are very easy to clean and they are removable too. There is also a basket on the bottom of the Uniflame Charcoal Grill to hold items like the grill brush or tongs. There is also on the side of the Uniflame Charcoal Grill a pull-out tray so that you can set down a plate or tray for your grilled foods. Or you could also put your grilling sauces/seasonings or bastes on the tray too. We have moved once with this Uniflame Charcoal Grill and it didn't fall apart or break anywhere it works just as good as it did when we had bought it. The Uniflame Charcoal Grill, I think was an easy purchase to make because one it was very inexpensive, but two, because it had everything that we needed. Even though it was less than $30 we still got all that we could ask for.
...

jasyjen says "Not a good gas grill, even though it was cheap" about Kenmore 2-Burner Gas Grill (Model #464722509)

My husband grills out all year long, so for our family, an outdoor grill is a necessity. For his birthday, he wanted a new gas grill, as his old one had long since died and he had been cooking on a charcoal grill. I know many people swear by a charcoal grill, but I just can't stand the taste of the food when it is cooked on charcoal. It just tastes like gas to me, which is crazy because food cooked on a gas grill tastes great to me.

I went looking for a new gas grill at Kmart, at the beginning of summer. I did not have a lot of money to spend, less than $ 200.00, and I wanted something that would have a side burner so he could cook a vegetable with the main meal. I found the Kenmore 2 Burner Gas Grill, which was on sale, for around $ 160.00. The display model looked a little wobbly, but I thought it was probably just the way it had been put together. I wasn't crazy about the way it looked, but the next model up was over $ 100.00 more, so I settled on this one.

The Kenmore...
...

Nancy44 says "I love my little kettle grill" about Small Basic Outdoor Grill

This is my cooking lifesaver ~ I use this outdoor kettle grill more than I use my indoor stove & oven. It holds enough food for a small family or gathering. I only use felled wood (oak & mesquite) to cook with, and it's easy to cover and store between grillings.

It has a sliding vent on top and travels light in case we want to take it anywhere. It is rust-proof & very durable. It has two racks inside ~ one for the wood on the bottom & one for the food on top.

It's the perfect size if you don't want to waste wood & can also be used with charcoal. I like the wooden handle on top, which doesn't transfer the heat. It came boxed & I assembled it in about 10 minutes. I recycled the box already so I don't recall the name, & I don't see it on the grill anywhere.

This is tabletop size & I use it on our back rock/concrete patio. If you cook smaller amounts of food on a regular basis, this is the type of grill to have. This grill cost me $10 on clearance at my local...
...
