I recently was looking for something to get the hard water stains and lime deposit off from the drain area of our bathroom sinks, I also needed something that would clean some areas of the sink bowl that had become stained. (They were in the house when we bought them and need to be replaced - but it's a work in progress!) When I was at the store looking at all the cleaners a container of Comet caught my eye. I had already tried almost every product on the shelves and thought surely the Comet wouldn't work, but it was about the only thing left to try - so I bought it.

As soon as I got home I sprinkled the Comet around inside of the dampened sink bowls. I let it sit for a while and worked on other things. After about 30 minutes I put some gloves on and grabbed a sponge (the kind with a scratch pad on one side). The stains and lime deposit came off! Yes it took a little elbow grease, but even elbow grease with the cleaners that were much more expensive didn't help. And it didn't scratch the...
...

I recommend this product to anyone seeking a great, all-around cleaner. I use Comet for almost everything I clean. I use it to scrub the toilet, bath tub, sinks, counters, and sometimes the floor. It's very easy to use, and the product lasts a long time. All you do is sprinkle some of the cleaner on whatever it is you would like to clean, then start scrubbing. It doesn't take long to clean up a mess or wherever you put the product. YOu do not need to use alot either, which is important to me because I hate having to keep cleaning the same spot over and over again. It does not cost alot to purchase this item, and it is conviniently sold at almost any store where you shop. It is a very popular brand and this is why, it works wonders on anything that needs cleaning, you do not need to use much, it does not cost much to purchase, and the product lasts a long time. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great cleaning product!
...

Charmin has recently changed the weave of their ultrasoft toilet paper and it isn't for the better. True, this new weave is stronger, however if I wanted strong, I would've bought the ultra strong one. Speaking of which, it seems like they've changed the ultra strong too. The ultra soft now feels like the ultra strong and the ultra strong now feels like cardboard. I knew that alot of people were happy with the original ultrasoft.....don't know why they decided to change it. From reading other reviews, it looks like a lot of customers aren't happy about the new weave. I hope that they go back to the original.
...

WOW! We love our Scott Bathroom Toilet Tissue. They come in different sizes and types and it's a pretty good price. A little pricey at some stores, but they give a lot of coupons and you can get a pretty good deal if you hit it just right. Scott Bathroom Toilet Tissue is so soft and comes in mega rolls too, which helps with our large family of five. You can find Scott Bathroom Toilet Tissue anywhere. I have found it at CVS, Target, and Walgreens, and Walmart. I like the large rolls and the soft touch and it's thick and doesn't break through while wiping or blowing your nose. The packaging is nice and simple, with different colors for different ideas, such as mega rolls, super soft, etc. Right now they are having a deal where you can go online and get rebates, although I haven't actually done that yet. Which is another reason to try Scott Bathroom Toilet Tissue. I highly recommend Scott Bathroom Toilet Tissue. They are great and a necessity.
...

The Waterpik Ecoflow showerhead is a great way to save money and be friendly to the environment! I purchased the handheld showerhead from Home Depot (not my preference, but they didn't carry the stationary Ecoflow showerhead at my store) a couple of weeks ago for less than $45.00. This showerhead promises to save over $90 a year on your water bill when used for 2 ten-minute showers per day, which seems to be about the average between my fiance and me. I have not yet received a water bill since I started using the new showerhead, but I'm expecting a savings of at least a couple of bucks. I better, at least, because I've sacrificed great water pressure for the environment and my pocket. The upside and downside of this showerhead is that it uses 1.5 gallons of water per minute, compared to the standard 2.5 gallon per minute showerheads. This, once again, is a great way to save water, but it doesn't provide the best shower experience. There are five different settings, but there are only two......

I live in an apartment in an area with VERY hard water. My shower is white fiberglass. I hated using my shower I never felt clean coming after a shower because the walls and floor of the shower were coated with soap scum and hard water deposits. I've tried so many different products but I always had to scrub and scrub the tub to get anything off. I don't want to use a scrub brush because it will scratch the fiberglass. I've used Scrubbing Bubbles for years but it never quite cut the soap scum. I bought the Mega Shower Foamer with a coupon while it was on sale. But I really didn't think the price was that high to begin with. I sprayed the whole shower and set the timer. After 15 minutes I want back and was amazed!!! Just a simple wipe and my shower was white again. I was amazed at all of the gray yuck that was on my rag. In fact I just threw the rag away when I was done it was so gross looking. I did use almost a whole can the first time I used it but now that my shower is clean I don't...
...

Well I always bought Charmin Soft before this because I was always proud of the Charmin brand and I never planned to switch! When they came out with an economy line of their product I thought it seemed semi silly but I assumed it was of lower quality ilke the generic competitors or cheap papery feeling but I was surprisingly impressed when I bought a package to test and absolutely loved it. I am very picky about my toilet paper and I would never go back to even soft I tend to find this the perfect blend of FIRM and SOFT all at once- and my family all prefer it as well. It is much much cheaper then even their more expensive brand and I think its soo much better so of course I'd suggest it to anyone thinking about making the switch. I never tear it, or it doesn't miss (Eww sorry!) and honestly I think its something that will stick around forever and I prefer to keep this one so go try it!
...

Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner Mega Shower works really good.I like this stuff.I went out lastnight and bought some.I have kind fo been playing around with different cleaners to get a general idea of which one is the best and gets the most dirt and grime out of my bathroom period.I hate nasty bathrooms but with 7 people in my home and 4 four that are teens it is really hard sometimes to keep the upstairs bathroom extra clean. If theres a mess to be made the kids are gonna do it.Last week I tried Kaboom the color changing bathroom spray and it worked ok.I liked the color change so you knew when to whipe it off but the cleanign ability could have been a little bit better.the Srubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Cleaner worked really good.I was actaully quite impressed. It went on easily with it's spary action and it fizzed up immediately spreading all over the bath tub.I sprayed some in the sink and the toilet as well.I waite abou 5 minutes and then came back with a sponge and whiped it off.I...
...

NotFooled says "Quilted Northern Goes Cheap" about Quilted Northern Soft & Strong Toilet Paper, Double Mega Roll

Quilted Northern, relying on the long term customer base they established and that has the expectation of continuity, has now changed/cheapened their product. If you have old rolls compared to the newer packages the first noticeable changes are in size. To me, the major difference is the reduced width from 11.43 CM to 10.16 CM (1/2 inch in width). I personally noticed very quickly the difference when switching from an old roll to the new smaller/cheaper rolls. The rolls also were reduced from 300 sheets per roll to 286. Keep in mind that the smaller width means more sheets are required to obtain the same effect the older and larger sheets provided, but then they also decreased the sheet count so even though the price per package remains relatively the same (it is up at my store), you will now need to purchase replacement packages more often so we, the consumer, are getting cheated with added cost to us. Not obviously by a price increase, but covertly, by reducing and cheapening...
...

Scott 1000 Tissue toilet paper suprised me, I thought it would be like most others by being expensive and not getting what your moneys worth out of it.I first tried it when i was at my mother in laws house,as she uses this product, at first I kinda laughed when I pulled the roll to get some paper.I for some reason thought it wouldnt do the trick. But then I realized that i had only used approx ten sheets and off a scott tissue paper roll thats nothing. I asked my mother in law about it and she told me how much it costed and where she normally bought it.I have been using scott 1000 tissue paper ever since.

The rolls normally last about three days in my household, which is a very good time period because all others are about one a day.The price is very good considering how much use you get from it. Another good thing is you never have to worry about a tacky print on your paper and how it might not match anything in your house because scott toilet tissue is plain.

Up & Up Toilet Tissue is Target's store brand. We love it! For less than we'd pay for name brand toilet tissue, we get soft, thick, tissue that we can use for our noses and, well other places. In fact, the only other brand I can think of that rivals Up & Up Bath Tissue in terms of quality and cost is Kirkland Brand at Costco.

Let's be honest, I think we all know why it's important to have quality, comfortable toilet tissue. It's important, and Up & Up realizes that while many of us are willing to pay extra for to protect our sensitive areas, we'd rather not.

I've had some brands of tissue, that are soft, but it's as if we bought half a roll. You can almost empty the roll in half a sitting (pardon the pun). Up & Up Bath Tissue comes in full rolls, wrapped tightly.

Today's economic times have everyone pinching pennies, my family included. But there are some things you really don't want to sacrifice on quality just because times are tough. For us, toilet tissue is one of those...
...

PattyTherre says "Pinzon - Super soft, big bath sheets but what's with the lint?" about Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet

Quick View: The Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet is an amazing big, soft sheet that absorbs water quickly. The sheet washes and dries well and doesn't fade. But it does leave little lint pieces on me quite often, even after several washes. I have no idea why.

My Take on the Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet

These bath sheets are 39 by 71 inches and weigh about 38 ounces. They're made in Turkey using a special cotton fiber that is supposed to absorb twice the moisture and be twice as thick as regular bath towels and bath sheets. Pinzon makes bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and even bathrobes as well as bath sheets.

I bought the blush colored Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet not because I like pink but because, with all guys in my family, I never get my own towels to use. I thought a blush pink color would deter them from stealing my big, soft bath sheet but alas, it has not. I saw my 19 year old son pluck it out of the clean clothes basket and run into the bathroom...
...

Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer is a remarkable cleaning product. Scrubbing Bubbles itself is a great brand and one that I have always used. However, the Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer is stronger and more effective. The foam is so thick that is helps get my bathroom even cleaner than before. You can hear the bubbles working as soon as you spray the foam. The thickness of the foam allows the cleaner to penetrate the surface longer than other cleaners do. The foam attacks dirt and soapscum so you don't have to work as hard to clean. No more scubbing until your arms hurt. The Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer does most of the work for you. There are no overpowering fumes either. Many cleaners that work well do have a strong smell, but Scrubbing Bubbles cleans hard without the smell. The Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer is more expensive than other cleaners so I don't buy it as often, but it works wonders.
...

Quilted Northern Soft and Strong Toilet Paper is simply the best. You absolutely get your money's worth with this product. Quilted Nornther Soft and Strong toilet paper is very soft to use. It is the perfect amount of thickness to provide extra absorbancy. Therefore, you do not have to use as much of it. However, that is not even a problem because the roll supply is great too. Other toilet paper is either thin or rough, but Quilted Northern Soft and Strong toilet paper is superior. I have tried other brands when they were on sale and no other brands seem to come close to Quilted Northern. I will most likely stick with Quilted Northern Soft and Strong toilet paper until someone can show me another brand that can surpass all the quality that Quilted Northern has to offer. Quilted Northern does not have to do anything to improve on the product at all. Change is usually good, but not in this case.
...

Bottom-Line: If you want soft, durable toilet paper, look elsewhere Angel Soft Toilet Paper isn't it, but that is just my considered opinion.

Like I stated in my review of Quilted Northern Soft & Strong Toilet Paper toilet paper is not the most interesting or appealing of subject matters, but it is a product we all have to avail ourselves of, no matter the brand. It seems like I have tried all of the major brands of toilet paper; Scott Brand Toilet Paper is by far the worse, and the hardest on the bottom, and Angel Soft-despite the name-is second runner up.

Because I had a coupon (with a coupon all things are possible) I gave Angel Soft Double Roll Toilet Paper 12-pack a try. On the outside, package wrapping, it's all good. The toilet paper passed the squeeze test, and it thought I had a winner on my hands. And the price was right: normally $7.49, the package bottomed out at $6.00 after coupon.

The double rolls are big, but believe it not course to the touch. Not as tough...
...

Let's face it, toilet paper is not the most interesting or appealing of subject matters, but it is a product we all have to avail ourselves of, no matter the brand. It seems like I have tried all of the major brands of toilet paper; Scott Paper is by far the worse, and the hardest on the bottom, while I believe Kleenex Cottonelle is the best. But, Quilted Northern Soft & Strong Toilet Paper comes in a strong second.

I recent picked up a 9-pack of Quilted Northern Soft & Strong Toilet Paper, Double Mega Roll with 9 Mega rolls, after Super Target mailed me a $1.00 off coupon. These mega rolls are big-almost too big; they just fit into the toilet roll caddie we have on the top of our tank in the master bathroom. They are this big because they are2-plys of softness, which feels good next to the...
...

Bottom-Line: All-n-all Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach in the tall green canister works and works well. I will never use anything else.

My first memories of Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach stem from childhood when my mother used to clean the kitchen sink and counters with it every night after dinner. The house was never without it, and so it is with my household today.

My Viewpoint

Comet Disinfectant Cleanser with Bleach is as all-American as the preverbal apple pie. It is a simple formula that never fails to cleanse what we need cleaning. I use it at least once a week on the kitchen sinks and counters, while my wife uses Comet to clean the burners on the stove and clean out the toilet, tubes and sinks in the bathrooms.

To disinfect Non-Porous Surfaces such as our porcelain sinks, sprinkle Comet on a wet surface, rub gently to cleanse, let stand 5 minutes or so, then rinse with warm water. In order to disinfect our toilet bowls, we flush first, sprinkle on some
...

cinnimini02 says "Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom is a multi use cleaner and awesome!" about Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner Mega Shower Foamer

I use the Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner Mega Shower Foamer once a week to clean my entire bathroom. I use it (obviously) in the shower, on the walls, in the toilet, and on the counters. I also use it for other household chores. I use it to clean my kitchen sink and faucet. The cleaner foams up (as the name says) and you let it sit for a few minutes. Then you wipe it off and works really well. I don't know of any cleaner you don't have to scrub at least a little, but this cleaner does help minimize how much scrubbing you have to do, which is VERY nice. I think my favorite part of using this cleaner is that while I let it sit, I can take a walk over to throw a load of laundry in to be washed, so I can multi-task while cleaning. (It may help that my washer and dryer are right by the bathroom, but still!!!) In the amount of time it takes me to toss in a load, or move a load over, I can go back and wipe all the surfaces clean. I can do all my cleaning at the same time.
...

costumegoddess says "Good, but a little pricey." about Distinctives Turbo Spin Combo Shower Head

We got the Turbo Spin Combo Shower Head by Distinctives as a wedding gift after registering for it for our wedding. My husband said that the installation wasn't a problem (and there were no tools thrown through the shower, so I think I'll believe him there).

Both heads work great as long as you only use one at a time. You can have both going at once, but we both found the water pressure too low at that point to effectively rinse shampoo or conditioner out of our hair. Switching between the two is super easy with a little knob on the side.

The official documentation says that there are "six different spray settings, including spray, pulsating massage, spray with massage, and pause. Also features a Turbo Spin spiraling center nozzle that offers spiral and spray with spiral settings." I like the massage settings, but my husband thinks they're a little too rough sometimes, so I thinnk that depends on just how high pressure you like your showers.

There's a full foot height difference...
...

eddyreddy says "Homedics Makeup lights up my face to see- what!?" about Homedics Makeup Artist Studio Mirror

Homedics makes many handy bath and household items. This is one that our home can not live without! This is named: Makeup Artist Studio Collection. What it is a great looking lighted mirror that has two sides, magnified up to 7X or normal mirror.

This is well made with brass fittings so that they don't wear out like the dollar store varitiy. The finish of the one I own is satin nickel and it came in several other finishes, like an antique bronze and chrome, I suppose to match your bathroom decore. The size of this light is perfect for setting on counters and seems to be close to where you want to see. The base of this is heavy so that it is not easily moved. It stays put. I liked the fact that it is not a light weight object, but it is more like a lamp than a mirror. It is well built and it store easy, too.

This mirror is perfect for doing eyebrows to makeup! All three of us wear glasses and it is a trip trying to see without glasses, and even a bigger trip to apply eye makeup without...
...
