jazzysax13 says "So easy to crush ice for smoothies or other icy drinks! Awesome!" about KitchenAid KSB560 5 Speed Blender

I've had this blender for only a few of week but have found ways to use it many times. My favorite thing to do it make fresh fruit & yogurt smoothies. My old blender was terrible at crushing ice (hence the upgrade), and I am very pleased with my purchase. Though a little bit loud (it is crushing ice after all), I really enjoy my blender. Also, it's really good about getting a nice, smooth blend of foods. Some blenders have the "layering effect," but not this one.

I live in an apartment so I don't have very much counter space or cupboard space. I do not find having this blender creates any kind of space strains. It is small enough to stay on your counter or be put into a cupboard. This blender is also very easy to clean and keep! Great purchase. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looked for a quality product at not a ridiculous price. It is so easy to put together, take apart, and clean.
...

The Eureka bagless vacuum superlite is a good home care product. The device is easy to use because you don't have to worry about changing bags with every use and then running out of bags to use and then have to buy bags and then the bags aren't the right size for the vacuum. The Eureka bagless vacuum easily cleans dirt buildup from carpets and other rooms in the home that have dirt buildup. The Eureka Bagless vacuum superlight come with a handheld vacuum that you can use to vacuum the car out with and it works wonders. I highly recommend this product because I enjoy cleaning my home and most people that enjoy cleaning their homes will find this product to be quite productive in vacuuming. It also leaves the fresh deep vauum marks that we love to see when a carpet has been thoroughly vacummed. The product is a must have. You can use it over and over again and recieve the same results every time you use it. If you want to try a newer model vacuum then the Eureka bagless vacuum...
...

jessdin2021 says "Awesome Cappuccino!!" about Mr. Coffee ECM250

The Mr. Coffee Espresso Maker I think was really awesome. When I first got it I really didn't know what I was doing, but after reading the instructions I sort of got a general idea how it worked. This espresso machine has a really good measuring glass pot. It also has a streamer along the side of the esspresso machine.

What It Does and Includes:

-Makes Gourmet Espresso, Cappuccino, Mocha, and Latte

-Has a powerful milk frother

-Has a removeable drip tray

This epresso machine can brew espresso coffee by simply filling the carafe with water and filling the filter holder with ground coffee. It also steams and frothes milk perfectly. The milk heats up to just the right temperature to make the perfect-tasting cappuccino and lattes. I really love cappuccino so this machine was both inexpensive and satisfied my taste for cappuccino. I have had this machine for a while and it still works great. I love my Mr. Coffee Espresso Machine.
...

The George Foreman grill is an excellent buy and a must have. You can grill all types of meats on this grill. You can grill hambugers, chicken, steak, and even porkchops. The hamburgers have such a nice subtle grill taste that you want to cook your hamburgers on the grill instead of buying a hamburger at a conventional fast food restaraunt. The George Foreman grill is portable so you don't have to sit outside and grill your meats. You can simply stay indoors and cook to your hearts content. The steaks can bee cooked well done on medium rare whichever you choose. The George Forman grill cooks the best porkchops too. They taste so juicy and good instead being dry and fried or baked and dry. The grill is also easy to clean. You can handwash the grill after each use and it doesn't require lots of scubbing because the plates are durable. I highly recommend this product to those who like grilled foods but don't necessarly savor the charcoaled taste.
...

My mom got this washing machine from a dear friend of hers that passed away. This washing machine was trully a blessing. It hasn't given her any problems. When I go to her house to wash I usually over load it and it cleans all of the clothes very nicely. I always use cold water and it still cleans really good. It is quiet and quick, it is not as bulky as the older washing machine that she had before. It has a slim look and comes with a matching dryer. My mom says that her electric bills are not as high as they were with the older washing machine. I would recommend this washing machine to anyone that is looking for a easy to use good quality washing machine. It comes with lots of different settings and is user friendly. Its really good on energy and you could possible lower your electricity bill with this brand washing machine. I do not know about the price but it it worth buying.
...

The month of May was approaching and my husband had asked me what I wanted for my birthday...and I had requested a small rice cooker. Thinking he would forget, he found the Cuisinart CRC-400. This is a small, efficient, compact rice cooker/steamer. Since our family had downsized (my eldest going off to college) I didn't need a large rice cooker in the home.

I haven't used the steamer portion of the cooker yet, so I can't comment on that benefit, but I use the rice cooker frequently. Being of Asian descent (second generation), we know our rice! The rice cooker does a fine job of automatically cooking and transferring to the warmer setting.

The only two downfalls I can think of in regards to this cooker is that when you take out the steamer basket to cook the rice, the lid doesn't fit properly. It wobbles around a little. The other would be, I would like if it had a retractable power cord. I like the spatula that is provided with the setup. It's surface...
...

I bought this crock pot from a very popular supermarket because it was on sale. Later that day I went to another very popular store and found a Beach Hamilton five quart crock pot on sale, so I purchased that on also. The next week I decided to have a get together at my house for a family member and I cooked a cheese dip in both the Durabrand and the Beach Hamilton crock pots, well the cheese dip was done in a timely fashion in the Beach Hamilton crock pot but was no where near done in the Durabrand crock pot. It took the Durabrand crock pot twice the time to cook the same dish. So now I only use that Durabrand crock pot when I have to I use the Beach Hamilton crop pot for most of my crock pot dishes. I do not feel that I really got a deal with that Durabrand crck pot because of the extra energy that I have to use to cook anything fully in it. I feel bad that I bought my sister one for her wedding gift.
...

loomis says "The BLD-T4500 4-slice toaster is a keeper" about Black & Decker BLD-T4500 4-Slice Toaster

The Black and Decker BLD-T4500 4-slice toaster is a keeper. Toasting level is consistant on all sides of all bread used, whether using one slice or 4. The adjustment knob for darkness is also very uniform. I really hate those toatters where a setting of 1-5 yeilds "raw" bread, 5.5 is perfect and 5.673 gets you charcoal briquettes. This toaster gets a little bit darker as you "turn up the volume." This consistancy is preserved regardless of type of material being toasted, regular bread, Texas-style bread, bagles, whatever, they all come out the way i like. Cleaning was easy, with a nice easy to access crumb tray with a good latch. Not too tight, so you don't have to give youself a stoke to get the thing open and not too loose so you don't have to slam it shut seven times before it latches. It has a good "high tech" look to it that fits well in my kitchen. The only negative is that the power cord is a little short, but I have never found a toaster with a long enough cord for my taste.
...

There are a couple things that I have an addiction to and candles are definitely one of those things. I love having a selection of candles to choose from when one burns out, so I always have a whole bunch in my "candle cupboard". Archipelago Lemon Eucalyptus Soy Candle was my most recent selection from my candle cupboard. It seemed like it would be great because it smelled really good in the jar and is made of soy wax, but I wish it smelled a little stronger while burning.

I don't normally like botanical fragrances like eucalyptus, but the combination of that with lemon is very refreshing. For some reason, I also pick up a slight cinnamon note too, but it seems to work out perfectly. What I like about this candle is that it is made with 70% natural soy wax, which burns longer and cleaner than traditional paraffin wax. This candle has an approximate burn time of 50 hours and I do have to say that it really does burn well. I have burned it for hours and hours and it burns...
...

The Hoover Turbo Empoower 4600 is a great cleaning tool. I bought it when I re-carpeted my three bedrooms with a beautiful beige, high pile carpet. The Empower has on-board tools, such as the crevice tool and a small power head cleaner which help to get into corners and under furniture with minimal effort. It has a sound-lowering button that comes in very handy when there are other people nearby who might bebothered by the noise. The handle folds down so storage is not a problem. The machine is easy to maneuver either frontwards or backwards. An excellent machine for a family home. Even my toddler grandchildren, when they visit, like to run the vacuum. They pretend it is a dragon, eating all the dirt. As a senior citizen, I am grateful for anything that makes my life easier. And as someone who really likes a clean house, this vacuum cleaner is the ideal tool. I qould definitely recommend the Hoover 4600 to anyone in the market for a new vacuum cleaner.
...

This is the best space heater I have ever owned! It is very well built, we have had ours for quite some time now. We used to heat the garage with it in the winter in Florida, but recently we've moved to NC and have been using it to heat the living room/dining room/kitchen area of our home instead of running the central (more expensive) heat. Our last power bill was considerably less, and this heater has done a fantastic job of keeping the house warm. We have it in a very large room and it does well. The fact that it uses oil to heat instead of heating elements makes me feel safer as it is not a fire hazard. The timer feature is quite convenient, as you can set it to turn on or off according to your needs. It is safer than average space heaters and it does a much better job, that sets it above the rest in my book! I would definitely recommend this heater for anyone, it is an outstanding product well worth the money.
...

We have had our T-Fal Toaster for only a couple years and it no longer works. Two of the slots only toast on one side -- and the other two slots either toast very lightly and have to be pushed down a couple times to get toast brown or do not pop up at all and burn toast to a crisp. We have had toasters in the past that lasted for years until they were outdated (e.g., too thin to toast bagels) and we replaced them -- not because they didn't work, but because they no longer met our toasting needs. We are very disappointed in the short life of our T-Fal Toaster.
...

We have this cat.

Well, rather, there is this cat that owns us.

You see, the neighborhood cat that our little daughter used to hang around with when she was little was killed by coyotes. Since that day, she has prayed for another kitty. Since we really could not accomodate an indoor cat, every night our little girl would pray for God to bring a kitty to us-the perfect kitty. My husband would tell her that when the time was right, God would bring the right kitty to our door.

Apparently July of 2009 was the right time.

Having never owned a space heater before, I was skeptical at how well this heater would work at heating our apartment. We use it primarily in our living room, which is large and has a fairly drafty sliding glass door. This little heater keeps the room nice and toasty. It's portable, which is very convenient, as we typically move it from room to room with us. We ended up not using our central heating as often through out the winter as this did such a good job at keeping us warm.

The oscillating feature is great, as it allows the heater to heat a larger area. It is extremely quiet, and most of the time I do not even notice that it is on. It does give off a small amount of light, which may be irritating at night, but generally does not bother us.

You can set the thermostat to your desired temperature, and the heater automatically switches off when it reaches that temperature, then turns back on when it falls again. It also has a safety feature which automatically turns the heater off if it...
...

This water bottle is ideal for me.

I started drinking more water because the doctor said my dehydration could be causing my awful frequent headaches. I had previously owned a Nalgene but had recently heard that those (older ones) were leaking chemicals into the liquids inside. Frustrated with buying plastic water bottles when I would go to the gym - because I hate how costly they are and how bad for the environment they are - I decided to search for a new solution.

A friend had mentioned her love for her new-found Sigg bottle. Although they used to be apparenly another culprit for chemical leaks, they had made a turn around and have recently become BPA-free (not leaking chemicals). It was easy to find a bottle that was lightweight, portable and totally stylish! I was also impressed with how fresh the water tasted when even sitting in the bottle for hours.

wildnjoyful says "Neuton Lawn Mower is an easy to use environmental wonder." about Neuton CE 5.2 Battery-Powered Lawn Mower

The Neuton battery powered mower is a wonderful tool for any environmentalist. It is quiet, cordless and does not use gas. I have had people stop and ask about it while I was mowing. The neighbors like it because it is not noisy like gas powered mowers so it cuts down on noise pollution. It is not self propelled and since my lawn is on a slight slop I get my exercise done at the same time I get my lawn mowed. I liked it so much I bought one for my daughter. I definitely recommend this product.
...

me65560 says "This pot is awesome" about Corningware 6 quart slow cooker

This crockpot is the best crockpot ever. It allows you to either set be set on warm, low, or high. This crockpot is versitle. You can put your food in the morning in on whatever tempuature you would like and depending on when you want the product done and when you get home you have a fresh meal. All you have to do is fix a side and your meal is done. It also allows for easy clean up. You can also bake a cake in it. I use mine for get toghethers. We always have company escpecially on Sundays during the NFL season. So I am constinialty making and trying new things with it. It allows me to spend time with the company and not slaving over a hot stove for hours on end. It allows me to also during the week to spend time with my family and makes mealtime less hetic. Just a little bit of planning is all you need to do and this crockpot will make your life so much easier. Their is also lots of internet receipes you can get offline so you will never be out of ideas. I also bought a crockpot cookbook...
...

jasyjen says "Better than any travel mug I have ever owned" about Chinet Comfort Cups

It seems that I am always on the go, running the kids somewhere that they need to be. Between football practice, baseball practice, school event, work, and everything in between, there is always somewhere that I need to be. As a coffee lover, I have tried several different types of travel mugs so that I can enjoy my coffee on the go. No matter how much I spend, or what type of brand I buy, travel mugs always leak and drip coffee on my clothing! It frustrates me to no end.

On a recent trip to Walgreens, I saw Chinet Comfort Cups on sale. I liked the fact that they came with lids and a chique' pattern that looked like something you'd see from your corner coffee shop. The cups came 10 to a pack, with lids, for a price of right around $ 3.00.

As soon as I tried the Chinet Comfort Cups, I began telling everyone I know about how great they are. These things are better than ANY travel mug I have ever owned! They don't leak, they keep my coffee nice and warm, and they look nice...
...

danadiva says "As embarassing as the commercials are, Snuggie is comfortable" about Snuggie Blanket

This thing is so darn cheesy looking, the packaging, the commercials, etc. But, it is awesome in the house of course. I would never wear this in public, or in front of anyone other than my daughter. I got this from my mom as gifts for myself and my daughter. I would have never bought it myself, but my daughter was pining for one b/c she is infomercial queen.:) Anyway, we have used them, but unfortunately my mom did not get the child size. There is no way that she can properly walk around with the grownup version. I may give it away as a present! Anyway, buy it you will love it. But, do not buy it as a present unless it is for an old person, someone you hate or your mother in law! Because it is not the kind of gift most people would want for Christmas!! Just kidding, maybe they would.;)
...
