I'm a bath taker. I only take showers when I am on a time crunch. I rent the townhouse I live in now, and there are no handles, ridges, bars of any type to help me get out of the bathtub! The bottom of the tub is smooth too. It used to be difficult to get out of the tub for me. I was in Walgreens and saw this As Seen On TV Get A Grip safety bar, and it wasn't too expensive, so I decided to give it a shot.

I have never had any long-term luck with anything with suction cups on it. It doesn't matter what I do, the cups lose their sticking power relatively easily, and that's with a shower scrubby attached, never mind a person weighing over 100 pounds using it as the only leverage to get out of a tub.

These are not your ordinary suction cups. First, make sure you clean and dry the surface (horizontal or vertical) you want to stick the Get A Grip safety bar on. I am back into the land of clear hearing. With my new ReSound hearing aids, I can hear sounds that I have missed out on for the past 20 years. I never realized what I was missing out on until I started using these hearing aids. My children do not have to tell me that my cell phone is ringing, I can actually hear paper shuffling, footsteps, etc. I can now hear all of the prayer requests at church, even when I am not facing the speaker. I no longer have to continually ask my science students to repeat their words in class. My children can no longer sneak up behind me to scare me!

I had tried a different brand of hearing aid, and I was quite comfortable with them for a litle while, but I had great difficulty with the sound I now heard when I played my cello. A long screech accompanied the bowing on the A & D strings, which drove me crazy! (And no, it was not my playing! My teacher vouched for that.) I have always enjoyed the green tea drink either hot or cold and also the green tea pills have been helpful to me as an appetite suppresant so I thought why not try the gum also as after lunch each day at work I had been using gum as cannot have privacy in the bathroom to brush teet as I would like and no storage room for toothbrush, toothpaste and pocket book is full enough. I always have room for gum in purse and desk drawer and others come ask for gum so this is a conversation piece and allows other to try a product without investing their money in it. The gum is interesting and I like the flavor and although I do not think this product should/could really be used as a weight loss program it would be too expensive with the "directions" for chewing how many pieces so many days and so on I do think it is good without the sugar and other addetives. I have gotten interested in products that work as antioxidants and was willing to give this a try.

As a chronic allergy suffer and victim of many a prescription with side effects I decided to get this to try it to see after all what else could be worse and if it worked. It is so weird pushing water up your nose after years of keeping it out in the swimming pool! The process with the medicated packet and distilled water and bottle was so nice and simple. It takes a few times to get the angle right and when your sinuses are really blocked the water comes out the other nostril - I learned to have my "toilet paper" kleenex handy to blow gently after I am done - I use this daily and even if I do not get unblocked I feel the cleaning helps the infections, germs, dust, and what ever else that builds up in nasal passages and I think this product also helps to keep the passages from being so dry and I have not had nose bleeds or sore spots as I use to do. This is worth the yuckiness and strange feeling of the water going up your nose - just do not breethe while you are using it!

Damp Rid used to make a flat disk with a light-smelling product on both sides of the cardboard. The product absorbed moisture and could be hung by the pre-cut hole, or leanned against a basement wall, or hooked over a hanger for the back of a closet. These were great little de-humidifiers! Unfortunately, the Florida company discontinued these!!

The company decided to keep making the "product with a bag". As moisture collects through the product, it drops into a bag which of course gets heavier and heavier as water collects. The bag takes on a partly sticky feel when it gets full. It's harder to hang just anywhere...because the bag needs room to expand and because it gets heavy. It bends a thin wire hanger (the discontinued product never did).

Damp Rid as a product is great=5

But because they discontinued their best product=2

They won't listen to customers who want the old product back! = 2

Average=2.5, just an average company who won't hear customers' needs and wants

I love love love the Bayer Quick Dissolving Aspirin. I can't say enough good things about it.

When I was younger, I was sick for three months. Nothing would heal me. I went to the doctor, and he tried putting me on meds, but the trouble was that I couldn't swallow pills. My doctor even gave me a hand out with different directions about swallowing pills. No such luck. I was stuck crushing up the pills, putting them in a spoon, adding a bit of liquid, and swallowing them that way. It totally defeated the purpose of the medicine by exposing so much surface area. My other alternative was to chew the pills, which tasted terrible.

Thank goodness for Bayer Quick Dissolving Aspirin.

It's powdered, which is awesome. You just open the pack, put the crystals on your tongue, and let them dissolve. They're citrus flavored, so you don't get that gross aftertaste, and they start working really quickly. You should take them with a glass of water, which helps with swallowing it all. They're really great!...

My stepmother is an audiologist so I grew up with a knowledge of decibels and its affect on hearing. With my recent war on dog hair, I've become acutely aware of the volume of the vacuum cleaner. I love my dyson, but I love my daughter's hearing more. At first, I tried leaving her in her pack'n'play while I vacuumed in the other room, but she was upset by the loud noise and disappearance of her momma. I also tried waiting until my husband was home so he could hang with her while I vacuumed, but that didn't happen as frequently as needed. Finally, I ordered a pair of Peltor Junior Earmuffs.

I was a little worried that my daughter wouldn't tolerate them, but I was happily surprised that she was completely ambivalent. Now I can clean the floors without permanently damaging her hearing, and, as an added bonus, she looks stinkin' cute in them!

After my pediatrician's office ran out of flu vaccine, I called Take Care Clinic and was told that the clinic closest to my home had flu shots in stock for kids. The girl at the main information center refused to connect me to the local clinic or call herself to verify this, insisting that she had up to date information. After rushing home from work, hurrying through dinner, driving my kids half an hour to the clinic, and then waiting another half hour for the nurse to finish w/ the patient she was seeing, we were told that they had been out of vaccine all week. Their "customer service" center had no idea how this could have happened and filed a complaint for me. Too little, too late.

I bought Anbesol Maximum Strength Cold Sore Treatment for a recent cold sore I had. To say the very least I was not very impressed. The only benefit that this treatment had was that it temporarily numbed my lip. It left a white, chalky film on my lip that drew even more attention to my cold sore than need be. Also, my healing time was not reduced whatsoever. When I spend money on a product, I expect that it will work. I only tried the Anbesol Maximun Strength Cold Sore Treatment because the cost was significantly lower than other, more popular name brands. I really pretty quickly that there was a reason for the cheaper price. The quality was terrible! In the future I will definitely spend the extra money and buy the vitimin Lisine, which tends to do much better than this product did. I was very dissapointed, as Anbesol is known to make great oral care products. Oh well, lesson learned!

I got a sample of Secret Clinical Strength from Vocalpoint. I think at retail, as I have checked, this product is really pricey for its performance. However, I was sent several $2 off coupons to pass along to friends. It was good, but it did clump alot. Most of the clumps dissolve into your skin, but what if you are wearing black and have to shoot out the door? I really don't think its worth eight bucks. It smelled great, kept my odor under control, and washed off easily when I took a shower, but I'm not really somebody who excessively sweats or who's body odor is particularly strong and needs that much control, so I would not be able to speak for those who do probably really need an item that is clinical strength. I would say they are overcharging quite a bit for a product that really is not much different than what is already on the market. I was glad to try it out, but no miracles, I'm going to give you my honest opinion and tell it like it is! I hate to disappoint. ...

I tried a new product on the market called Halls "Refresh" and must admit I do not know how these things can be called Halls. I have been an avid Halls user for years and this product does not fit.

What I was looking for was cough drops, saw the Halls Refresh, and remembered I had a .75 coupon. I did buy the cough drops but picked these for different reasons. This product is sugar free so I thought, this is good, chose the juicy strawberry flavor, and thought they would be nice to carry in my purse for those times you are out and don't have something to drink and need a "refresh".

This product is supposed to add moisture to your throat when it is dry at any time, not just when you have a sore throat or cold.

Halls Refresh definitely gave some added moisture to my mouth, but I could not tell if it was because it was making me nauseated or if that is what it does. The flavor of this drop has a slightly medicinal, a very distant strawberry flavor, and almost a minty feel. It does not...

My cardiologist recommended SuperShots (even gave me some coupons) for controlling cholesterol and I was happy to start using it. I really believe in using diet mods before medication. I've been successful at this with controlling my INR and warfarin dosage. I was really starting to see good benefits from SuperShots for cholesterol. I'm very disappointed that they've taken this option away from me. And as far as the cost goes? We're talking slightly less than a dollar a day to improve your heart health without drugs. At some point, my prescription needs are reduced and I'm at breakeven. Please voice your support to the manufacturer so that we have a chance at getting this back.
