I was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (also called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome) and nerve damage in my left foot two years ago. I take medicine for the pain twice a day, which only takes the edge off. I saw an advertisement in a magazine for PhysAssist Foot Pain Cream. It is recommended for people with foot problems. I was willing to try some of it since nothing else has helped with the pain.

Works well, and the kids dont mind the flavor, they dont even ask for something to drink afterwards!! With other medicines they gag and ask for something to drink!! It is so refreshing to be able to give them a medicine that they dont cry when they have to take it....

When I first saw UNKERS MEDICATED SALVE it was at a Mennonite Grocery Store that I was visiting for the first time many years ago. I am not one to fall for every high boasting remedy that comes along without doing research first.

However, in this case, they were offering a trial size jar of UNKERS MEDICATED SALVE for only $1.98 so I decided that it was not a huge investment to make to test it out.

The sample jar was accompanied by a large pamphlet which had a whole long list of things that you could use UNKERS MEDICATED SALVE to help treat and heal. I laughed thinking that perhaps this was a gimmick, but I bought it anyway and took a pamphlet.

When I got home, I perused the pamphlet and was amazed that a product which seemed so plain and basic could claim to help so many DIFFERENT maladies.

I have found the best and fastest medicine for a headache or any ache that comes along....Excedrin Quick Tabs. The box I bought has 16 quick tabs in it and I paid $5.99 (+ tax) for them at CVS. The directions say to take 2 quick tabs every 6 hours and to not take more than 8 quick tabs in 24 hours. I've never had to take more than 2 during 24 hours. They contain 500 mg of Acetaminophen and 65 mg of Caffeine.

The best thing (other than getting rid of a horrible headache or any other kind of ache) is that you don't need water. That's right... NO WATER to wash it down. They melt in your mouth!! The kind I bought has a peppermint flavor which is really kind of refreshing and leaves your breath minty fresh. They do not have a bad taste at all.

After melting 2 of the quick tabs in my mouth, my headache is gone within 5 minutes....NO JOKE....only 5 minutes. I've never had anything (not even a prescription) knock-out a headache within 5 minutes. These things are amazing!!

At the time, I didn't have any use for it but unfortunately, after a couple of weeks, I injured my shoulder and was in a lot of pain. My children have symptoms of celiac disease and experience terrible abdominal pain if they eat/drink just a small amount of gluten (wheat, rye, barley).

Some companies list their products as having gluten or possible gluten contamination or as gluten-free on the packaging, but most don't. Some have a tab on the website labeled something like "allergy information," but I could not find that on the Tylenol website.

To my knowledge, this product is not gluten free (but isn't labeled as such). Only the grape flavor in the children's Tylenol brand is (as of a few months ago).

I will give them credit that when I contacted them about gluten content that they did give me information at the time that grape was gluten free and they sent me some free coupons.

We give medicine like this to our children to help with pain--imagine how hard it is to watch your child cry even more because the pain worsens.

Nothing is simple with celiac disease--it sure would be simpler if I could look on the label rather...

I was getting migraines every other day and discovered, if I took a Goody's headache powder at the onset of the headache, it would go away. About once a month a headache would develop into a full-blown migraine but 1 a month verses 12-15 a month is worth taking Goody's. I like the powder because I believe it gets into my system faster than pill forms. I mix it with a little water and drink it down....

Yes-believe the "encapsulated" pain releif blah blah blah of the ads. I have literally tried EVERY OTC and RX product for pain releif. This stuff really does help! I won't bore you with my medical history and chronicle of my aches and pains, but if it can help the residual pain I feel even while I am taking very potent RX pain meds, it WORKS. I can go to sleep a lot easier thanks to this product.

I used this tylenol sometime back & it was very effective in pain relief but it is very expensive compared to the regular tylenol & it does not come in big packages like the other tylenols to make it cost effective.

I liked this product as I have difficulty in swallowing medicines so this product was a nice option.

So I used to really like this stuff but I think if you use it more than once a month for like a year you become used to it. Now I take it- fall right asleep- but im awake within 4 hours. It doesnt help you stay asleep just fall asleep. I want to try advil pm and see if thats any better.

Most of us are familiar with Tylenol. I've been using it for years. For some reason, the active ingredient, Acetaminophen and I just happen to agree with one another.

Last week while making one of my frequent visits to our new Wal-Mart Super Center I stopped at one of those aisle end-cap mountain displays. This one was for Equate Extra Strength Pain Reliever. This is Wal-Mart's house brand of Acetaminophen. The offer was for 500 caplets of 500mg. each for $7.99. Even without a direct competitive price in my head I knew this was a bargain. Of course I bought it.

How much of a Bargain?

Okay, I admit I was curious, but I guess not curious enough to walk down the aisle and check out the price of brand name Tylenol. But later that evening I just got into one of my Google moods and decided to do a search.

Well the best that I could find was 225 caplets for $15.99, reduced from $17.99. So essentially they cost $.07 a caplet. On the other-hand, the Equate Extra Strength Pain Reliever...

Advil Liquigels are great. But I prefer the Liquigels. They work quickly and relieve my pain. I only take them for back aches however, because they do not seem to work on my headaches. But any kind of muscle pain they are great on. I never leave the house without them and always have them in my medicine cabinet.

I didn't know that I even had migraines till I got back from the eye dr. today. He told me that the flashing lights around my eye and the loss of my central vision were migraines. My daughter has them and so does her daughter, but I just thought mine were headaches. This tylenol works for these headaches, and I like the sweet taste of them. If they get stuck all you taste is sweetness. It doesnt take long for them to work either. I just lay down for about an hour if I have time, if not, I just try to focus on the headache and hope it goes away. I am really happy with this item and would highly reccomend tylenol. I am too afraid of narcotics because of the worry of addiction. They have already ruined enough lives in the world already. Thank you for listening to me....

I use to always use Advil for pain of any type. Advil contributed to my having serious stomach ulcers and an intestinal obstruction. I had one physician tell me that one Advil was too much and that 7,000 people a year die from taking drugs in the Advil famly.

If you use Advil or any product in that family, please be extremely careful. I ended up having between 1/2 and 2/3 of my stomach removed because of ulcers. I will, also, be on Nexium for the rest of my life.

Quick View: I usually don't take Tylenol products but I bought Tylenol PM for my son when he had a cracked rib and it has been sitting here since. I recently have been battling a virus and feel generally awful. Everything hurts. And I can't sleep. Tylenol PM promised to take away the pain and help me to sleep. I took two. I slept. But I still had pain.

About Tylenol PM

This product is really just Tylenol with Benadryl added. Benadryl is an antihistamine that causes drowsiness. It is not marketed as a sleep aid. It is for allergies. However, when you combine 500mg of acetaminophen in each pill along with 25mg of diphenhydramine (Benadryl) in each pill, you have a pretty strong chance of being knocked out if you take two. That's a lot of Benadryl!

The good thing about this medication is that those with thyroid conditions can safely take this. I have an underactive thyroid and can't take a ton of of OTC medicines so I was relieved that I could safely consume this one.

    My mother in law found out I had arthritis so she bought me a bottle of this, so I tried it. It worked somewhat but nothing like I thought it would. Then I read the label to see what all they added to help with arthritis pain. That is when I shook my head and was further convinced that the all mighty dollar was more important than I ever thought it should be.

    What it is

    Tylenol Arthritis Pain is nothing more than extra strength tylenol repackaged with a little extra acetaminophen added. A label that read "Super Strength" would be more appropriate I think. Regular strength tylenol is 325mg, extra strength is 500mg and Arthritis Pain is 650mg. Now when I see a label that says Arthritis on it I am expecting something extra for my pain, which in the case of arthritis is not a headache type pain. It is caused by swelling and lack of lubrication of the joints.

Although a generic Equate must abide by the same standards as "Name Brand" products. They must list their ingredients and the amount. With that said the only difference between this and Tylenol is the name and price you pay.

What it is

Just as its counter part Equate has 500mg of Acetaminophen and comes in tablet and caplet form. The only difference is the packaging and who produces it, with the same dosage rates and the same results. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever for those either allergic or sensitive too aspirin.

How does it compare
