I used Tahitian Noni Juice a year ago and quit. Recently I was visiting a friend. I had forgotten about Noni. She had an ad for Noni printed on her car. I remember how good I felt the first time I took it and asked her to let me purchase a few bottles. All I can say is , I feel better and will continue to take it (an ounce daily). I don't have the food cravings I had. It does give me energy, My arthritis pain is is gone so far and I am not suffering from after effects that some medications render.I know it does not cure everything, but it sure helps a lot of things. I also have high high blood pressure and am eating less because I am not craving. I don't take Noni at dinner time (Only once a day, in the morning) because it does give me energy and I would not be able to sleep. I have only been taking it for a week, I am not a crowd follower, I do what I believe is best for...

I haven't been to Weight Watchers in a few years, and hopefully it has improved, but I never made it to the maintenance level any of the numerous times I joined. One time I won an award for losing 10 pounds, and when I was up in front and everyone was clapping I blurted out that I had actually lost 100 pounds! The leader looked at me funny, and I quickly added, that I had lost the same 10 pounds 10 times! Which was very true. Then I joined Weight Watchers online a couple of years ago, and after I paid my dues, and logged out, I never logged back in. I'm hopeless. But I want a healthy weight eating lifestyle, that lets me eat a few yummy things...

klerkkant1978 says "Weight Watchers changed my life" about Weight Watchers

All of my life I had struggled with my weight. Between my love for food and my resistance to "diet plans" (really, how does a plan where you starve yourself for a limited time keep the weight off long term?) I thought I was destined to be overweight forever and simply couldn't understand why I couldn't eat like "normal" people and look like "normal" people, too. —

By the time my weight had ballooned up from 160 to 200 pounds post-college, I knew I had to do something, however, or else my health would be at risk. At a friend's recommendation, I checked out Weight Watchers on-line program and felt like I had finally found the answer! By tracking the points of what I'd been eating, I realized just where I was making poor decisions in my diet and how to make better solutions. Weight Watchers worked for me because it wasn't about denying myself the things I enjoyed, but making decisions and "budgeting" my points if I wanted to enjoy, say, a slice of pizza or ice cream sundae every...

AmyC921 says "The easiest way to watch your weight!!" about Calorie King

I have been a member of the online program, Calorie King, for over 5 years now. I lost 42 lbs. using the program and stuck around for maintenance and stuck around even longer to rid myself of the few pounds that were creeping back on. I hate to even use the word "diet" because it truly is a life-style change. They have the largest database of foods that you'll find anywhere. Everything from store-bought to restaurants and fast food joints. They have a food diary that you can put in everything you eat for the day and it tallies your calories, fat, carbs...whatever you choose for it to track and lets you know what you still have left for the day. There is also an exercise diary that will track how many calories you burn depending on the activity. There are good graphs and charts to track your progress as well. It is full of great articles, a recipe section and there is a "university" that you can go through that has a lot of nutrition and exercise info. I have to say, though,...

I have tried most diet programs with limited success and usually weight gain after the program gets stale....I always wondered why when eating the "right things" according to the food pyramid- whole grains etc., the weight loss was so sluggish. I also wondered why the medical profession was so adamant against the Atkins program, so I started reading and doing research, and discovered that most successful weightloss programs have their core values and rules adjusted from the original Atkins. They no longer use words like low carb, or carb free, but now it is the glycemic index (which is sugar's impact on your endocrine system, and sugar is carbs, whatever form the sugar might take) I learned several things while doing Atkins...first of all, most of us think of carbs only in terms of bread, pasta, cake-the obvious stuff. We don't realize that a sugar impact, or carbs, can come from vegetables and fruit as well....We don't realize how much sugar we are...

I did JC before my wedding to lose some extra lbs. I thought it would be easier for me than it was, but I guess I was lacking in motivation. First off, you go to the center to meet with your consultant and plan you menu. The center was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly. The food tastes good, but the portions are incredibly small and have very low sodium levels. The diet basically seems to dehydrate you by flushing your body out and not allowing you to retain any water. Then, when you do eat a meal that is not on the plan and has a higher sodium content, you immediately regain some of the water and therefore regain some lbs. Anyway, the food is very expensive. It can easily cost $60-100 for one weeks worth of prepackaged meals. Unfortunately, I did not stick to the plan well and did not lose any weight. I am sure the diet works well for those who stick to it, but it was too expensive for me to do long-term. —...
