Ok, fall and winter are here and with it my allergies and seasonal cold that never seems to go away until the warm weather arrives - I am lucky in Houston that doesn't take long. Preparing for an upcoming flight I knew I needed a little "boost" to my immune system and that's when I "borrowed" my husband's New Chapter Every Man's One Daily vitamins because I didn't have any.

What I like about New Chapter Every Man's One Daily

Of course this is made for men, so I didn't "subtract" points because it didn't have everything a woman needs (like higher Calcium or folic acid) because, well it's not meant to. But...

Because I have a compromised immune system, and I work in a building with about 700 people, I am always worried about catching some kind of sickness from other people. I had previously been taking Airborne, but I decided to compare it to the CVS Airshield. It has the same ingredients, and is about half the price. Both of these products are designed to build resistance to colds, and even when you do have a cold, it helps get over it faster.

The CVS Airshield proved to be just as effective as Airborne. I used it for about 3 weeks, and will continue using it when I go back to work. Last week I was sitting next to a man on an airplane who was coughing and sneezing, and said he had the flu. I was almost certain I would get it. I used the CVS Airshield the minute I got off the plane, and then later that night. I have continued using it and haven't had one flu symptom. For anyone using Airborne, or anyone prone to colds and flu, this product is just as good as Airborne, and costs much less.

I'm hypothyroid, but not entirely comfortable with taking conventional medications. After I read an article in First for Women that mentioned Standard Process' Thytrophin, I went to the Standard Process website, as well as some nutritionists' websites, and read up.

Thytrophin contains calcium and magnesium (in amounts tailored for optimum thyroid function), as well as bovine extract that has been processed to remove thyroxine. Thytrophin works via a technology they call "Protomorphogen," and though it's a little too much to explain here, there is a fact sheet available on Standard Process's website. Also, if you decide to look into obtaining this supplement through a nutritionist, they can help explain the process by which Thytrophin works.

My job here as a reviewer isn't so much to tell you how it works as that it does work; at least, it did for me. It took a few months, but it, in combination with the sea kelp and selenium that I also take for thyroid support, finally kicked...

I got these sticks in Cherry Pomegranate at a very low price. What I got was a sticky, sweet, bright phony red drink. Eerily similar to Kool Aid. It did NOT taste like Cherry Pomegranate-it tasted like Cherry Kool-Aid! I have had other fiber drink mixes before and they were helpful to me, but this one didn't help at all. If I didn't know better, I'd swear they'd filled those stick packs with Cherry Kool-Aid...on with trying other brands! IMO, I could have gotten more help by eating a few prunes before bed.

My girlfriend decided I should take Juice Plus. Being the biggest skeptic on the planet when it comes to vitamins and supplements I kept putting her off until she brought me two bottles. I have fibromyalgia, am perimenopausal and feel like crap most of the time. My skin was breaking out, I wasn't "regular" and was always just not feeling myself. I have been to the doctor and I was taking an antibiotic for years for my face. So I thought the least I could do was to try it. Now if it doesn't give me instant gratificaton, forget it. But I kept taking it. Hmmm, my face is glowing and not one breakout. Which is worth the cost right there since I am not buying my prescription pills any longer. I am not feeling irregular and constipated. I haven't got a burst of energy yet, nor have I had any relief from fibro pain. But considering its' only been 3 weeks THREE WEEKS!!! I am going to keep taking it to see if it lives up to anymore claims. But I am starting to really believe in this stuff....

I am a sufferer of depression and anxiety and am on several medications to control them. I did some research and like the fact that the vitamins are in liquid form (less damage on your organs to process). Also, with one morning shot of somthing that tastes like orange juice is easy for me, my husband and my 2 year old to take. I've been taking them daily for about 5 months and have felt a lot better. I do notice when I haven't taken them.

Also, not that it's a big deal, but my eyelashes have grown noticably longer and my hair looks better. Yes, it's pricey, but taking good pill vitamins at the store run about $40 a month, so $20 more per month was worth it to actually take them (it's in a container in my fridge and I see it every morning) and they're liquid with 100% of what I need. I like the trace minerals too since that's something left out of a lot of pill vitamins.

The person who got me in touch with them hasn't pushed me at all. I love the fact that my toddler is now taking the Next forumula. Very important for the kiddos to get their vitamins and DHA...

I use all of hylands products! I love the arnica and any time someone is hurt I give it to them. I also love the fact that it is safer than name brand products you see in the store. About four years ago my daughter fell and hit a sprinkler so hard that it snapped in half. My parents were going to give her tylenol and I said NO!! The bruise was about four inches all the way around. I had my mom give her arnica tablets three times a day and then apply arnica cream to the bruise in the morning and then again at night. Within three days the bruise went down to the size of a quarter and in another day it way gone! Now my parents use arnica all the time. When my dad had surgery I made him start taking it as soon as he got home and he healed faster. The Dr.s were amazed!

I signed up to receive this product on a free trial over the internet. The trial was for fourteen days. When I called to cancel the free trial I was talked into trying it free for another thirty days. When I called back to ancel they told m I went over the cancelation date and they charged me sixty dollars for the product plus they charged me for some membership program that they claimed went along with the product. That cost me anothjer twentyfive dollars. The product never did what it claimed to do. It gave me a little energy but did not help me loose any weight and it is suppose to be an anti aging fighter I did not notice anything as far as that went. I would not recommend getting this product there are much better things on the market for a lt cheaper.I found the customer service to not be very friendly nor did they care about what I was trying to tell them. They knew there product was a scam.

I wanted an easy to use and easy to swollow product for me, and this is why I bought and am a continued user of Nature's Bounty Fish Oil. The pills are small, are a nice color and have no taste at all, what-so-ever. The bottle clearly advertizes "No Fish Burbs" and it is true so if this is a concern for you it dose not have to be anymore. I have been using this Nature's Made product for over a year now and have never had any adverse side-effects or any negative experiences and becasue of this I highly recommend this product. The only downside is that it does lack some Omega 9 in the pill and does recommend you take about 4 a day I beleive but the omega 3's and omega 6's included in the pill (which are great for the bodes HDL levels and brain function) are present in reasonable amounts and each pill is low in calories (about 10 per serving). The bottle is also very conveinent; the top is an easy open flip up which is very easy to open, which is great for those with arthitus or...

My chiropractor recommended Standard Process Congaplex for my seasonal bouts with broncitis. Each year I would go to the doctor once or twice & spend $$ on medicines that might or might not work. I noticed that my chiropractor started carrying vitamins & supplemets & I asked him about something for broncitis. He recommended the Congaplex & I have been using it for a couple of years. At the first sign of a cold, before it can turn into something worse, I start taking the Congaplex. Within 1-2 days all symptoms are gone. $27 for a bottle is certainly alot less expensive than a doctor visit, prescription medicine & being sick for 1-2 weeks. Will always have this in my medicine cabinet!!
