I have been taking Rainbow light womens once daily vitamins for two years now. I love the fact that it is all natural no garbage in them that I do not need. I also like that there is all of the vitamins and mminerals that are needed to work together and the fact that there are green foods in them. They are also easy on the stomach; if I do not eat right away it does not make me quesy....

I have tried various herbal supplementals for calming nerves and promoting sleep, and I found that this valerian-only product did not work as well for me as other valerian-based products that contained passion flower and perhaps also skullcap. I don't mind the smell so much, if the product works well. In my case, I prefer products that contain more passion flower and/or lemon balm...both of which work far better than valerian for me....

I have an aloe vera plant in the kitchen for stovetop burn emergencies, but when I'm on a beach holiday, I don't always have an aloe vera plant nearby. This gel is great for relieving sunburn, especially for the first few days after sun overexposure (which is not too healthy...), and keeps the skin from drying, itching, and peeling. It's good for cracked skin, too, in the wintertime, far less expensive than urea creams and lotions....

Jo says "I'm Wild about Evening Primrose Oil. What is it? Read On..." about Wild Harvest Evening Primrose Oil

About 25 years ago I was tested for several years to rule out the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. I then started taking Evening Primrose Oil which I read might be helpful in lessening the loss of the myelin in the brain. Put simply the myelin is crucial in making the brain work correctly. In any case it seems that I didn't have MS; however, I never stopped taking Evening Primrose Oil.

I have used a variety of brands. For a long time I've been loyal to Wild Harvest's Cold Pressed and Hexane free Oil. (Hexane is "A hydrocarbon volatile liquid found in glue or gasoline." teens.drugabuse.gov/utilities/glossary.asp)

I buy Evening Primrose Oil in 1300 mg bottles. It's considered a dietary supplement or herb according to http://nccam.nih.gov/health/eveningprimrose/.

These are large gel type capsules. I take as directed which is one per day. There are 10 calories in each. In addition to the 1300 mg of Evening Primrose Oil there are fatty acids, gelatin and glycerin. You'll find that all gels contain......

To the Point
I am reviewing a product called H2OM Herbal Neck and Shoulder Pain capsules. From http://www.omgroupinc.net/store/ "OM GROUP Inc. is the first company to meet the healthcare needs of the 21st century cruising population." Disclaimer: These are not tested by the Federal Drug Administration.

It is my belief that it is fairly impossible to make an absolute claim that supplements work unless I were to be cloned. Having said that I will give you my experience. It is up to you to talk with your doctor to make sure that H2OM is alright for you to take especially if you have medical conditions or take other medications.

A Closer View

In January of this year we went on a cruise. I have had two frozen shoulders; thought I might need surgery and spent months in physical therapy and over a year babying each shoulder.

Something triggered some shoulder problems on this cruise.

Hey guys I just started herbalife three days ago. Now before I start writing my review I just want everyone that may read this that I am also a distributor. I am not going to candy coat my review thought I promise. I have pros and cons. Well let me tell what the product has done for me. I am using the advanced weight management program so that I can loss some extra pounds. My goal is 20 and after three days I have lost two pounds. The best thing is is that I have not changed my way of life other than having my shakes(which tastes amazing and i'm not just saying that) My energy level has gone up and over I love the product. Now to clarify some of the post that I have read on here and to provide you with some facts. Herbalife and all of their products are FDA approved and are sold in more than 65 different countries. Thats means that 65 different FDAs have had to approve of them as well. We do not give you supplements that only last two weeks.
HeartofanAngel says "This stuff made my lower back, around my kidneys, ache so bad" about Medicine Hunter Calming Sleep

I tried Medicine Hunter Calming Sleep as I have problems getting to sleep. The first night I took it, I noticed no difference, and am aware that sometimes it takes time for herbs to take effect. The next few nights I took it, and noticed that each morning when I got up, my lower back hurt so bad I could hardly move; the pain also went around to the front around my ovary area. I stopped taking it, not knowing whether this was a coincidence or not, and 2 days later the back and kidney pain went away. I looked up the ingredients, and Epimedium is one of them. After researching, I found that this is actually Horny Goat Weed, used mainly for male sex libido. When taken with other ingredients (I don't know which ones), it is supposed to increase the function of the kidneys. I'm only guessing that this is why my lower back was in such terrible pain. Why put this ingredient in a sleeping solution? I threw the bottle away; I would not recommend this to anyone-I have actually found......

Valerian works for me to calm my nerves and help me sleep. I can't take it during the day too much because it will make me too relaxed and sleepy. You should know that it stinks bad BUT just hurry and drop it in your mouth and swallow. It does NOT cause you to stink like garlic does. It will make your hands stink and perhaps your breath right after so wash your hands and brush your teeth! Listen, if it works and it does, it worth it!! I take it as needed and only one pill not three like is suggested on the label but you may need more. Bottom line is that it works better than other things I have tried and like many of you I have spent hundreds if not more in vitamin and herbal supplements to combat stress, anxiety, melancholy and joint/muscle pain. I am still looking for the best thing for joint/muscle pain. My shoulder burns HOT after just wiping down the counters - ANY IDEAS ANYONE!?!?!...
This herbal supplement is often used for relaxation and sleep. The effectiveness is questionable but the main problem is an offensive odor which was so strong the entire cabinette where the closed bottle was stored wreaked of the product. Once the herb was swallowed there was no adverse odor or taste but it was difficult to get down due to the foul smell.

I have not tried any other brand of Valerian root but would be leary of this potential problem.
...

This is special because this kind of herb must be standardized in order to get the benefit from it. Just taking black cohosh in the regular herbal blend did nothing for me but the standardized gel caps work as well or better than the pricey Remifemin .

The last time I bought Remifemin it coat around 25.99 for 30 day supply and the other day I saw it for 29.99 . Puritans Pride gives you 90 gel-caps for 9.99 but you get 2 bottles free when you buy 1 and the shipping is only 3.99 on any order so your getting almost 300 days worth for about 14.00 shipped .
To the Point
Some people think that ginger helps with motion sickness. (See below) I bought some because I can get car sick especially if I'm looking down - knitting, reading a map, etc. Before leaving on a cross country trip I bought Reed's Crystallized Ginger Candy.

A Closer View

What I found in this 3.5-ounce resealable package were chunks of crystallized ginger. The package cost me $2.29.

All that's in these pieces are diced baby ginger root and raw cane sugar. Most other types use white sugar. It's made for Reed's in the South Pacific Islands. http://www.reedsgingerbrew.com/candy.html

According to the above website "The process is an ancient one that hasn't changed much through time. After harvesting baby ginger (the most tender kind), the root is diced and then steeped in large vats filled with simmering raw cane syrup. Steeping for several days, the ginger is then removed and allowed to crystallize into soft, delicious nuggets."

One serving is 5 pieces which is hard for me to imagine....
...

PattyTherre says "Natural beads to help your sinuses or ward off headaches." about Aromafloria Aromaremedy Inhalation Beads

Quick View: This is a natural way to keep your head clear and free from stuffiness or mild headaches. The smell is great (to me anyway) and it opens my nasal passages and keeps my sinuses under control. As an allergy sufferer, I appreciate natural remedies like this. The headache blend is good as well but I tend to use the Sinus help beads much more often.

About Aromafloria Aromaremedy Inhalation Beads

The Sinus Help product is all natural made with essential oils of eucalyptus, peppermint, and lemongrass. This is 2.5 ounce plastic jar of tiny beads that comes with a pouch-like carry case. You can fill the pouch or put the beads in any container you want. The scent will waft through the air and unstuff your head naturally. I like to put mine in the pouch and inhale the strong vapors. The scent is much more sophisticated than Vick's.
