I went to the doctor a few weeks ago for a cold. I expected my doctor to reccomend some medicine for me to take, but she didn't. Intead she told me to buy some ginger, lemon, and honey and make a tea with it. I was amazed that she was giving me an idea of something natural to try ond not medicine.

I went to my local health food store and bought ginger and lemon. I already had honey at home.

I got home and peeled the ginger and cut the lemon. I put water in my tea kettle and the I added the honey Ginger, and the lemon. I let it steep in there until the kettle whisteld. I poured in my cup and let it sit for a minute because it was super hot. When it was ready, I tried it. It tasted real good and was soothing. Ginger is good for upset stomaches as well, but the tea helped me feel better while I was sick with a cold. I drank it twice a day for the next couple days and it helped a lot. I even drink gingerale when I have an upset stomache.

I had never heard of this company 'till a woman opened a Health Center in my town and started selling their products. Spring Valley Valerian Root Supplements works well sometimes and they don't work so well other times. They are suppose to help you fall off to sleep quickly but they don't do that all the time. They seem to work better if you use them with other supplements such as melatonin or if you take Vitamin B-6 or if you take them with calcium supplements. I also think Valerian root smells funny. I haven't found any Valerian root supplements that smell good. I have no idea why they smell so strong and are not pleasing to the senses. I think the price of Valerian Root is a bit pricy too. It's best if you can buy one and get one free. I do find that if you get capsules of Valerian Root and you open up the capsules and put them in tea at night, such as Camomile tea or peppermint tea it can help you fall asleep. There are different types of Valerian Root but they all seem to work the same. I do think that Valerian Root works quite well when it is mixed with Melatonin. I also believe...

I have suffered with cold sores or what is horribly called "herpes" since I was 13 years old. this is a great product and one i started taking about 6 months ago. i stopped taking it because i noticed all the chemicals- names i had no clue what they were- that i was taking on top of the black cohosh and i was only getting 20 mg/ pill. that was just not enough. someitmes i'd have to take an extra pill during the day and sometimes at night.. i was supplimenting my suppliment- not good. so i ended up stopping the use of this product. my body was a little off for a couple of days due to the chemcials in it.
