SpokaneMan says "Visine is eary to carry and easy to use. It's simply great." about Visine A.C. Eye Drops

Having to deal with the Fall weather isn't just limited to the rainy season and the onset of cold weather. It also brings with it a lot of wind, which will pick up the dust, and virtually fling it at your eyes. It is very similar to walking during the summer and having specks of pollen get into your eyes. The discomfort is enough to drive you crazy every time, and anyone who has even had something in their eye knows the feeling all too well. When this happens, you run the risk of scratching your eye if you are not careful on how you deal with it. To the rescue comes a great product like Visine that works in more ways than one to "get the red out." It's never been easier to deal with the discomfort that can come from pollen, dust, or ragweed that gets stuck in the air, just looking for an eye to pollute. — — Visine A.C. is an astringent redness reliever in the form of an eye drop. It comes in both 1/2 ounce and small 1 ounce bottles that are created perfectly for travel....

Katrena says "Neomycin/Polymyxin/Gramicidin Eye Drops for Three kids--Aaahhh!" about Bausch & Lomb Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Gramicidin Ophlthalmic USP Contact Solution

I did the math. Three daughters (6, 4, 9 months) with pink eye for a week equals a minimum of 336 eye drops. That's not counting the drops repeated because of blinks, head turning, and melt-downs. — My children don't often share willingly, but they shared pink eye just last week. — Below is some information that you may find helpful. Contact your health-care provider for medical advice. — General Information: Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Gramicidin Ophthalmic Solution, USP is a prescription strength antimicrobial opthalmic solution more commonly called eye drops for pink eye and other eye infections. — This 10ml (2 teaspoons) of eye drops cost me $15/bottle with a prescription drug plan. I feel your pain if you do not have a prescription drug plan. In fact, I feel your pain if you do have a prescription drug plan. — Treatment typically includes 1-2 drops in the effected eye FOUR times a day. (The medication...

For Eyes is known for providing a cheap glasses but beware-you get what you pay for. Rather than providing market-tested, well-know products, they opt for "last season" frames (which can be purchased in bulk at discounted rates) or "homemade," and their inexpensive lenses can be upgraded to have their own ineffective coatings. Furthermore, employees are heavily discouraged fro selling the well promoted "2 for $99" glasses so expect a long, high-pressure sales pitch if you intend to purchase there. To top it all off, the national lab is staffed by inexperienced, underpaid employees who are taught about glasses upon hiring. Although Florida state law schools and licenses opticians, For Eyes (like many optical companies) has found a loophole that allows them to avoid having to pay for skilled labor. Their contacts are inexpensive, though. —...

I love this solution. I use to have problems with my contacts being really dry. When I would put them in in the mornings my eyes would get really red and I would have a hard time seeing. My doctor told me to change and I have never had that problem again. Do make sure that you never put your contacts in your eyes when they have been in the solution for less than 6 hours. It burns really bad and you can't wear them. I know from experience. —...

I suffer from Dry Eye disease which is moderate to severe depending on what season we are in. Prescription eye relief is very expensive and who isn't trying to cut costs with the economy the way it is here in the states. — I was looking for something over the counter that would be less expensive and work to help keep my dry eye symptoms at bay. I tried several product which did ok but not good enough. Just before my birthday last month I came across a sample of the Refresh Dry Eye Therapy at my local Walgreen store. I bought it. — I used the sample till it ran out with great success so I purchased the full size bottle. This product works well. My eyes are very sensitive and I had no side effects from using this product. It is reasonably priced and I haven't had to use it more than a couple times a day. — I plan to try the tears formula next for those days I get dust or other foreign products in my eyes while working...

A few weeks ago I did a review of Bausch & Lomb Sight-Saver PreMoistened Wipes for cleaning eyeglasses. I recommended them in good faith and in fact gave them a rave review but apparently this vote of confidence was the kiss of death for Bausch & Lomb Sight-Savers which have since unaccountably disappeared from the stores. As I began to run out of my supply, I rooted desperately through what had been successful hunting grounds in the past, with no luck. Even Drugstore.com (my erstwhile best supply source) had dropped them totally, not even deigning to add the item to the "Item no longer available" category. There did not appear to be a promising source of other brands either and things began to look dark, literally speaking. For a while there, the Sharper Image Electronic Eyeglass Cleaner (the one that takes up too much space in the bathroom) began to loom large in my future. — SAVED BY THE BELL: — For those of you who also wear eyeglasses and...

As if there aren't enough reasons for most of us to regret not having invested in 3M stock 20 years ago, here's another great product ... 3M Microfiber Lens Cleaning Cloths which have been designed with microfibers to lift dust and oils from delicate lenses without the use of chemicals. I will always be loyal to the Bausch & Lomb Sight-Saver Wipes which I reviewed a while ago but I find that these 3M cloths make an excellent "finishing" or polishing once-over to mop up excess moisture left by the Sight-Savers. I like the cloths especially for hot weather use as they are excellent for wiping perspiration from glasses on their own without the aid of any other product. — Made in Korea of 80% polyester and 20% nylon, these cloths are reusable and can be machine-washed many times. Indeed, frequent washing is recommended. (Caution: although the they are hot water and dryer safe, the use of fabric softener or dryer sheets should be avoided in...

Just purchased them (4/18/08) from my Dr. who recommened them to me. Got home to my home office desk and put them on. Work GREAT!! My challenge had been having to look at my Computer screen though my bi-focals of my eye glasses. That made my neck extremely sore and produced strain in my shoulders etc. With the PC Peekers Computer Glasses they eliminate my neck strain. I now just look straight at my computer and have no pain from the abnormal positoning of my neck as before. It is worth the expense. My Dr. only charged me $23.00 for the PC...

Katzy says "Soothes, protects, preservative free in the eye" about GenTeal Lubricant Eye Drops Moderate/Severe

The GenTeal brand has a variety of products for persons with dry eyes. I have very dry eyes and have tried all their formulations. The Genteal Gel Drops for Moderate/Severe dry eyes has been my favorite. While it says Gel Drops it is a regular drop, but it is slightly thicker than the average eye drop. This keeps the lubricant in the eye for a longer period of time. There is slight blurring of vision immediately upon putting the drop in the eye, but this clears quickly. The soothing comfort lasts for a number of hours. Additionally, these products have a component that becomes preservative free once it is in the eye, sparing your eye from harmful preservatives that are in so many eye drop products. I have tried other products such as Refresh, Systane, and Viva, so far GenTeal has been the best for my eyes. It is competitively priced, available at discount merchants, such as W and K Marts, and at drugstores. I've also found that with regular use of eye drops, my dry eye condition has...

Visine A.
In 2006, I was addicted to Renu Multipurpose and it was the only product I would buy for my contact lens care. Then in February 2006 I heard there was a recall and this product had been linked to eye diseases that were making people blind! I had heard that certain bottles were still safe, but I wasn't willing to risk it. My next try was Complete. That worked out great for about a year. Then earlier in 2007 there were news stories out that Complete was being recalled! Once again, certain types were safe but I couldn't risk it. I'm not willing to risk my sight. — — When I found Clear Careon the shelf I did some research first. I set up an alert for "clear care recall" on google news and have yet to receive any bad news about this product. After my search came out clean, I bought it. I've been using this product since May 2007 and I now am sure it is the only product I will use for my lens care (unless it gets recalled!) — — The Usage and How it Differs —...
