I really didn't care for these paticular pair of lenes. The Acuvue with Hyroclear really hurt my eyes. They felt like they they needed to be wetted down constantly. They were easy to put in and that feeling only lasted a few hours. They felt stiff and needed to get moistened after that. Although I do like the Acuvue brand. It is a good product, but these didn't feel good to...

I have been useing this brand for the past 6 months and I must say they are really comfortable, my eyes rarely get dry or discomfortable, and are easy to get in but a little difficult to get out when your first learning. I previously wore hard lenses which are easier to grasp but with enough practice this problem faded. There have only been a few lenses that either tear easily or just aren't right when I first open a new pack so i am very pleased overall with theyre performance. I can see clearer than when I use my glasses and obviously can work out without the interferance of something moving on my face. I have fallen asleep with them on before and have never gotten one stuck or lost in my eye which is great but you shouldnt fall asleep with them on. They also last longer then 2 weeks and can be used up to lake a month so that takes some of the expeenses away but theyve also been less than $40 a box so not too bad on pricing either. Soft lenses are supposed to be healthier for your...

I have been wearing Acuvue 2 brand contact lens for about 2 years now, and they are awesome. I use the 30 day contacts that you throw away after a month of wearing them. These are super cheap at walmart, about $17.00 a box, and you get a three month supply, which is 6 contact lens'. I have the same precription for both eyes, so its really easy to get my contacts. I would definetly recomend this brand of contacts to anyone, cause even after 30 days my contacts are still clear and easy to see out of so they last along time. —...

I love contacts. They allow me to do so many more things - like play tons of sports without fear - than glasses do. The only thing that gets annoying is taking them out to go swimming, and even that isn't that bad. I like acuvue because they're overall pretty comfortable. Occasionally they get itchy, in which case I soak them extra long, but all in all they've served me...

This brand of contacts is good to wear for 14-15 hours a day with no dryness. I enjoy wearing them but I seldom wear a pair for two weeks (I don't believe they are 2 week disposalables). — Your eyes will be very dry if you take a nap, I have slept in them less than 5 times and this is usually a mistake... my eye dr told me I could sleep in them a few days in a row before removing (I love extended wear) but I haven't been able to do this. —...

The Bausch & Lomb ReNu MultiPlus Multi Purpose Solution No Rub formula didn't seem to work very well for me, my eyes felt blurry all the time, and sometimes got extremely itchy. After talking to a new eye doctor about this problem I had been having I was given a reason to why this was happening. My contacts and the solution did not work well together. I use to wear acuvue contacts with hydraclear in them, and used this solution, but ended up having continouous problems all the time. I felt like my eye sight was even getting worse. So I ended up switching to different contacts and different solution best for those particular contacts....

I absolutely love this product. When I first started using contact lenses, my eyes would get dry, and it felt like I always had sand in my eyes, even when I wasn't wearing any contacts!
I have been wearing these contacts for about 2 years. They are very comfortable and easy to wear. I do have to agree that they seem thinner than others I've worn and do tear very easily, but I also think that those two qualities are what also make them so comfortable (thin and breathes with the eye). The only reason I didn't give them all five stars is because they are kind of pricey for basic contacts and are hard to find in stock if you have a 'common prescription' . To avoid that, I would simply suggest to plan ahead and order more before you're on your last...

I've used Renu for years and really like it. In the intervening years I've tried other brands if they are on sale or had a rebate, but Renu is the one I always come back to. Why? Because it does it all - cleans, disinfects, and removes protein deposits on my soft contacts. I've noticed that many other cleaners clean and disinfect, but do not remove protein deposits. If you have contacts that you only use 30 days or less this is probably fine, but since I usually wear a pair for several months, I do want protein removal also. — Another point is that while Renu proclaims that it is "rub free", I do rub my contacts to clean them - it just seems more effective to me. Again, if you wear a pair of contacts for 30 days or less, you probably don't need to rub to adequately clean them. — I don't see many coupons or rebates available for Renu, but that's probably because it's a trustworthy and established brand. Try it - I think...

I have been a contact lens wearer from day one and I have sampled several brands during that time. One that I have tried and liked is Bausch & Lomb 2- week disposable lenses, a comfortable contact lens that requires little or no daily maintenance. — Contact Lens Commentary: — Disposable contacts are a product I have been wearing since they were first introduced. I have never worn glasses (my pride wouldn't allow that) and I started out using extended wear contacts back in the 1980's. Thinking back to all of the hassle, annoyance, and discomfort that I experienced with these non- disposable contacts, I can't imagine why anyone would ever wear them. Why put up with all this stress, when disposable contacts are so worry- free? — — With a cost of $15 to $18 per box of six, Bausch & Lomb 2- week lenses will set you back by $135 to $162 if you purchase nine boxes (1- year supply). If your money is a little tight, you can get away with...

Quick View — Looking for natural looking total eye color change? Need toric contact lenses? Try Wesley Jessen Durasoft 2 Optifit Toric Colors Contact Lenses. They turned my deep brown eyes green and nobody knew that green wasn't my original eye color (except those who already knew me, of course). These are great lenses that totally change eye color - even very dark eyes to vivid blue. I had the blue shade but it was just TOO blue for me. Green was just right both in shade and in fit. Well worth the cost! — Full View — I sometimes wear contacts. I have a severe astigmatism in my left eye and have to wear toric lenses to correct that. And I wanted colored contacts. Not colorblends. A total color change. My doctor ordered me two pairs of Wesley Jessen Durasoft 2 Optifit Toric Colors Contact Lenses, one in blue and the other in green. I bought the green and loved them.
Bryan-Carey says "Good Contacts, But are They Better Than the Original?" about Acuvue Advance Contact Lenses with Hydraclear

Acuvue Advance with Hydraclear is a newer product from Johnson & Johnson that offers extra moisture protection to prevent eyes from drying out. These lenses seem to be fairly comfortable and I haven't had any problem with dryness, irritation, or any other problem sometimes associated with contact lenses. However, I also don't notice anything particularly special about these lenses, making me question the decision to promote these as an "advanced" version of regular Acuvue. — One thing worth noting about these lenses is that they are very thin- thinner than other contacts I have worn, making them a little more fragile to handle. Yes, thin contact lenses are more comfortable to wear but excessive thinness also means you have to be extra careful with Acuvue Advance. Any type of rough handling- even the act of excessive rubbing with saline solution- can cause the lenses to rip. — One of the good things about these lenses is the fact that they have a special mark on the edge...

Bryan-Carey says "Eliminate Contact Lens Worry, With Renu MultiPlus" about Bausch & Lomb ReNu MultiPlus Multi Purpose Solution No Rub formula

Keeping contact lenses clean can be quite a chore, especially for those who use extended wear lenses. The lenses have to be scrubbed gently with cleaning fluid, stored in saline solution, and enzymed every few weeks to keep them as clean and wearable as possible. I have been using contact lenses for about fifteen years, and I graduated from extended wear to disposable lenses around 1995. This helped to eliminate the need for enzyme and scrubbing with daily cleaner. But I still need to worry about disinfecting, and this is where Renu comes into play. — — Renu is unique in that it combines cleaning agents with ordinary saline solution into a mixture that performs its job so well, you don't even need to scrub your lenses anymore. This solution eliminates protein deposits and disinfects, making your contact lenses feel squeaky clean on your eyes and sparkling clear, just like new. Even with disposable contacts, protein deposits can build up. And even though most people just...
