After all the Christmas cooking and holiday food overload my husband and I decided to go out for lunch today, We didn't feel like leftovers again so, after deciding where to go we ended up at Chili's.

Though I like Chili's Tex-Mex selections I was in the mood for a good juicy burger. My husband chose the Jalepeno Smokehouse Bacon Burger and I ordered Chili's SOUTHERN SMOKEHOUSE BACON BURGER and I'm so glad I did.

First off, it's BIG, the hefty burger overlaps the substantially sized bun. It's layered with 3 strips of extra thick-cut applewood smoked bacon which is then topped with smoked cheddar cheese, crispy onion strings, mayonnaise, shredded lettuce, tomato, raw red onion and sliced pickle. It's served with home-style fries and ancho-chile BBQ sauce for dipping.

The burger arrived hot and piled high, it was heavy in the hand and I'll tell you right off, I couldn't finish the entire thing. They don't call these "Big Mouth Burgers" for no reason, there's no delicate way to take...

You may or may not have heard of HungryGirl. I am an avid reader of her blog and she recently offered a great deal on a product touted by her and Weigh Watchers....VitaMuffins.

Initially,I thought they would be gross, but I wanted a chance to try all the different flavors out, since I (plan!) to start watching my weight in 2010! I ordered the Sampler Pack for $29.99!

FedEx delivered my pack on time and I quickly tore into the box to find that they had to be placed in the freezer pronto. This was not good, seeing that my freezer was stuffed to the gill (I only have a side by side, if you can believe it!!). It also said only eat for breakfast, which I thought was funny. My BFF was there for a play date & she actually said to me, "I ain't eating that right now, it's 4pm. I mean, what is gonna happen? Am I gonna have to stop 20 times before I get home to sh*t?" I about died!

Needless to say, the next morning, I followed the directions of placing the muffin in the microwave with...

I originally was lured in by a $10 first time customer bouns. I ordered exactly $10 worth of food and that was it. The delivery man came around 3pm that day & sure enough I had my free three cheese tortilini pasta, which was fantastic.

The only thing I think is a little weird, but I get, is that they will come ringing your doorbell on delievery day, even if you don't order something for that week. My delievery guy is fine, but his sub driver is really creepy and annoying.

I have had to call him back once, only because he forgot to give me 2 pizza's and I forgot to even check it in front of him. The cusomer service lady was very rude and apparently got really angry at the driver for this. I promptly told him, "Hey, it's cool, I wasn't mad, but that lady was a B!" and he laughed. I sure didn't want him like spitting in my food or something next time...right?! LOL....

Anyway, I still order from them, there are several things we enjoy and it is NO more expensive than the grocery...

One of the things my then-boyfriend brought to this house was the Wine Tree Wine Rack. I've never been a huge wine drinker, but my husband is and I use a fair amount in my cooking. The fact is that we go through several bottles of wine each week between cooking, relaxing, and entertaining. We keep the Wine Tree Wine Rack prominently displayed on the back counter of our basement bar and it never fails to be admired by our guests.

Basically, this is a 6-bottle wine rack that stores 750mL bottles in alternating and inverted directions. It looks pretty cool when you have 3 bottles of red and 3 bottles of white lined up by color in this Wine Tree Wine Rack. It has a loop at the top so it can be either suspended from the ceiling or simply set on a counter. We used to keep it crammed on top of our microwave and jammed next to cookbooks in our kitchen, but since we've built a large wet bar down in our newly-finished basement, we now keep this Wine Rack downstairs and prominently displayed...

Mints are one of my daily staples for after meals because gum can be such a pain to dispose of. Most of the time mints come in a container as big as your wallet that takes up a huge amount of space in your pocket, if you can even fit it in there.

That's where the attraction of Altoids Smalls comes in. Its a container of mints that's has a much smaller profile than any of the other mint containers I've seen. Since the container is smaller they also make the mints they put in it smaller as well, but they pack almost the same punch as their larger counterparts. (you may need two instead of one to completely rid your mouth of any bad breath)

Also a plus, these mints are sugar free. I think that is one of the factors that contributes to their more powerful punch for such a small mint. They aren't very sweet probably from the lack of sugar but are reasonably minty, which is really what you should be looking for in a mint.

Overall not the best tasting mints but the convenient of their size and...

Aquarius Spring Fluoridated Spring Water doens't really taste different than other non-flavored bottled waters. So why do my small children like it? Honestly, I don't care. Theyr'e drinking water, requesting it even, so I'm glad to have Aquarius Spring bottles on hand.

As a faithful user of the old faithful fill in for anytime meal staple Hamburger Helper I have recently become a bigger fan of the Asian Helper chicken fried rice. My family and I have been requesting it ever since we first tried it. First off its super simple to prepare. Just brown the chicken in oil for a few minutes then add the water rice and seasoning mix and let simmer covered for 15 minutes. The top off is adding scrambled eggs and vegetables to put together an authentic tasting chinese cuisine dinner which tastes like it just came from your favorite Chinese restaurant. Very soy flavor genuine fried rice taste. We've been regulars for some time now as we really enjoy it as one of our favorite requested meals. If you are on a budget and have cravings for Chinese food but know you can't afford to serve it as much as you would like Asian Helper chicken fried rice is an affordable way to enjoy the Asian cuisine serving the whole family on a shoe string budget.

When Wendy's first came out, it was unbeatable. The over-all quality had fallen so much over the years. We rarely eat at Wendy's. They use to be pricier but I didn't mind paying for the quality of the hamburgers. Now they have jumped on the 99 cents wagon and I find that all of their products suffer. The salads are over-processed. Their hamburgers are tiny and dripping with grease. This is not the Wendy's that I grew up with. They are no better than any other fast food place now.I think that Dave would be ashamed of the quality of food that Wendy's promaotes now. I think that Wendy's should go back to it's roots and offer premium beef at slightly higher prices. They never had any problems with buisiness before. People are tired of poor quality fast food. It's time for Wendy's to raise the prices while raising their standards. America needs a fast food place that isn't so 99 cents cheesy.

McDonald's sweet is amazing! It i "seasoned" just perfectly, so easy to drink, and priced at $1.00, how can you get any better?

Also, for 0,99 for 23 oz, Arizona's Southern Style sweet tea is a great bargin! I work in a call center, 23 ozs gets me through the afternoon, without paying 1.25 for a 20 oz pop.!

I also take in a McDonalds tea a couple of times a week, oh, and its just the right temp, also, nice and cold, and the cold lasts all afternoon! Very important! :)

Either one of these teas are great for the budget, especially if you are buying a drink every day to get you through work, Arizona's sweet tea can be found in any gas station or convenience mart, so not only budget friendly, but a quick in and ou as well! And we all know that there is always a Mickey D's in sight to drive thru and pick up a sweet tea! :)

Take it from me, the "sweet tea officianido" (spelled that incorrectly)!

Wendy's has come back with $2.99 value meals. One is a chicken sandwich meal combo and the other is double cheeseburger combo. My boyfriend and I went and got one of each just to see if they were a good deal and they definitely were a good deal. Wendy's did not skimp on the meals, like some restaurants when they offer a $2.99 combo meal. I like Wendy's food, so I eat there quit a lot. I like a good value. I like good food. If a good value and good food is what you are looking for then go to Wendy's and get one of their $2.99 value meals. Wendy's has good food for a good price. Wendy's also has combo meals. Wendy's also has more food options than most fast food restaurants, such as, chilli and baked potatoes.

Lindt Excellence 70% Intense Dark Cocoa Bar

I enjoy giving sweet treats as gifts, my theme this Christmas is a variety of deep dark chocolates to savour and enjoy.

I figured Lindt was a good place to start so I purchased several Lindt Excellence 70% Intense Dark Cocoa Bars to add to my gifts baskets. Of course, being the chocolate lover that I am, I just had to try one.

To start off, the bars are well wrapped, a gold foil inner liner with a heavy, glossy white outer wrapper. Inside is a dark, dark bar sectioned off in squares with the Lindt logo. It looks like and is a quality bar.

Lindt says "Excellence 70% Cocoa Bar is a full-bodied dark chocolate, masterfully balanced to be neither bitter nor overpowering". So I unwrapped a bar, broke off a square and instantly smelled the rich darkness of the 70% cocoa. I placed the square onto my tongue, it melted very slowly which is a sign of high quality chocolate as the fat content makes is melt slowly so the flavor can be enjoyed and savored...

I placed my first order for these when I found them a couple of years ago on the website of a health food vendor. I control my carbs but was still in the market for something to use for wraps.

Well, I've ordered many, many packages since! They're soft, fresh and extremely versatile. Besides the usual Mexican food applications, I can wrap a couple of fried eggs, some cheese and sausage or bacon for a quick, portable breakfast.

My latest use for these was a couple of weeks ago, on a cold, rainy night that was perfect for pizza. Most pizza isn't allowed on a low-carb eating plan, so I came up with this: In a small (omelet-size) pan, sautee some crumbled Italian sausage; drain and set aside. Rinse out the pan, then sautee some chopped veggies in olive oil. When done, put those into the plate with the sausage. Then, put a little olive oil in the pan and place a tortilla on top. Top with pizza sauce, veggies and meat, some olives, Italian herbs and shredded mozzarella. Put...

Naked juices are all natural with no sugar added. It's a 100% fruit juice smoothie with "boosts" added (ex. Vitamin C, fiber). In one small bottle, you get the equivalent of several servings of fruit (in this particular one, there are 27 blueberries, 1 banana and 3 blackberries). It is expensive for one drink and is overpriced considering the price of the original fruits, but it's still a tasty and healthy drink. As a college student who doesn't have the greatest eating habits, this is great for me. It's a quick fix for fruit I need (eating fruit can be messy and sticky, but with Naked juice, I can pretty much drink 27 blueberrie). If you're an "always on the go" type of person, this drink is perfect for you!

Just a little more info on this drink, 240 calories, none from fat.

100% Vitamin C, 58g of sugar (but remember, these are all sugars found naturally in the fruits).

If you are looking for good chicken tenders, try Raising Cane's! They make the best ones I have ever tasted! The only downside is there isn't one in my town. Their chicken is tender and juicy. They marinate the chicken for at least 24 hours. It is served with the best dipping sauce you have ever tasted!! This sauce is so good, you could eat it by itself and be happy! I always order the 3 strip meal, it come with fries, toast, and sauce. I always order extra sauce because one container is not enough because I dip everything in the sauce; chicken, fries, and bread. The only thing you can order here is chicken. So, if you like chicken, try Raising Cane's. You will not be disappointed. It may just turn out to be one of your favorite fast food places to eat. I know it's one of my faves. I only wish there was one in my town. I believe they are only found in south Louisiana, mainly Baton Rouge (that's where it started), and a few places in Mississippi. I do NOT like to get up for work. At all. But, like everyone else, I drag myself out of bed and go. I never get up early enough to make a meal to take with me, and I work in a Call Center so it's hard to take a bite of something when you're always on the phone. My solution was weight loss shakes. I started using Slim-Fast cans (yeah, they're all recalled right now, but they were OK). I used the 'Optima' because it had a lot of protien and fiber so I'd feel full longer. My Mom turned me on to the Special K Protein Shakes, and I got hooked. They actually make me feel full longer than Slim-Fast cans and they have a much better taste. If I have a coupon or they're on sale, I'll stock up. The only drawback to these drinkable meals is the price. It's really hard for me to look at a six-pack of Slim-Fast with virtually the same ingredients, then look at a four-pack of Special K Shakes that cost about $2 more. I don't have a lot of money and this is one place I sometimes choose...
