Roxann831 says "Finally something different in the breakfast market" about Wendy's restaurant Breakfast

I have been saying for years that I wish Wendy's would come out with breakfast because they would for sure do something different than everyone else. The day has finally arrived and I was SO RIGHT. They have so many different things: french toast, burrito, steak sandwich, regular breakfast sandwich (egg, sausage or bacon and chesse), plus they pioneered the chicken sandwich for breakfast. The best part is that you don't have to get greasy hashed browns with your meal... you can get a blueberry muffin, hashbrowns, or a cinamin roll. I usually get either the Grande Burrito or the steak sandwich (minus the bacon) with a blueberry muffin. It is a great way to start the morning....

I loved the Southern Style Chicken sandwich!!! I crave it now. I wasn't too crazy about the breakfast one because the biscuit and sandwich were a little dry. However, th elunch sandwich was fantastic! I like the seasoning of the chicken, delicious. I never thought to put pickles on a chicken sandwich... but it is wonderful! I think the buttery bun, flavorful chicken, and pickles together make an excellent sandwich! I suggest you at least try it once.... especially if you like pickles....

I'm not too proud to cook up Hamburger Helper for dinner. It's quick, easy, and it's filling. The boys love it too - or most of the mixes. — I tend to cook from scratch, but I keep a few fast meal mixes in the cabinet. We don't have fast food in this small town. Calling in a pizza is not an option. So, Hamburger Helper is terrific on those days when things get wild and crazy. — The last time I was at the grocery store I got a box of Hamburger Helper Lasagna. Since I make really great lasagna from scratch, I'd not been selecting a quickie lasagna. But, I remembered that I loved this as a kid. My Mom never made lasagna from scratch. This was our introduction to lasagna. Good stuff - I thought back then. — This Hamburger Helper dinner mixes up like the others. Brown meat. Add water, seasoning packet and noodles. Could not really be any easier other than buying food already made. — The boys were starving. They always are though. They put a hurting on the...

If you are looking for great taste in the McDonalds McGriddle........Id have to say your not going to get it. You'll definetly get a bargain though! I took my son to have a Mcgriddle for breakfast he's 5. We normally would not eat McDonalds,I thought I was giving him a treat. My first bite.......was my last due to the syrup that is imbedded in the outside pancake bun. Together, including the sausage the taste I had in my mouth was overwhelmingly sweet......too much for me. two hours after we ate I took my son to the emergency room. He said his heart hurt. The doctor did an EKG and a chest exray and ask what we did different today with his diet I mentioned the McGriddle. He said that too many could put him at risk for heart disease, but at the time his heart hurting thankfully turned out to be heart burn. We were given a prescription and discharged........needless to say my sons heart wont experience anymore McGriddles or anything that could possibly lead to heart...

Short Version--I think the Al Dente 5-piece pasta set is probably a great buy and has the potential to make wonderful pasta. My problems with this product probably stem from an operator malfunction. If you are sleep deprived, trying to learn to make homemade pasta borders on insanity. Instead, read my next review on Tinkyada spaghetti noodles. If that's a bit much, throw caution to the wind and eat out. See details below: — I have never made pasta from scratch. I've made biscuits, pie crusts, cookies and cakes from scratch, but not pasta. After checking out a video on how to make ravioli on monkeysee.com, I felt ready to begin this new adventure. — First, I applaud Circuit City. I found this product on sale on their website for $36 (regular price $69.99). This was by far the best deal I could find online for a new pasta maker--some of the other pasta makers priced a separate ravioli attachment for about $30, not to mention the price of the machine itself. —...

I realize that in the breakfast sandwich world, the choices are limited. Usually some sort of egg, some sort of meat, some sort of bread substance....and the McGriddle follows all those basic sandwich rules, but to be really honest, they lost me completely when they decided that the sandwich was to have both cheese and maple syrup-two things that just don't seem to really meld-especially not with the synthetic gooey stuff that passes for cheese at MacDonalds. I could handle the sausage (or bacon, or ham), the egg, the pancake (especially buttermilk)-then the whole thing just went haywire with cheese....I have never associated cheese as a pancake side either. It just doesn't work for me. A sandwich that is trying to be everything to everyone has left me totally out. — And unlike the muffins, these pancakes are really pretty nasty if they happen to get cold. A cold muffin isn't unlike a regular piece of bread, but a cold...

I am long time taco bell fan and always look forward to their new offerings. In this instance, the hype was just that---hype. The cheesy beefy melt is very bland and the cheesy is a misnomer because of the paucity of cheese.

I used to Love Wendys, I would eat there everyday for dinner when i was single but I would travel outside of my hometown in Mass to a location I knew served good food. Now that I'm living in the South, I find the Wendys here disgusting. The fries usually have black stuff on them, they taste weird, if I had to compare it, I'd say horsemeat, not that I've eaten horsemeat, it just smells like a horse so therefore tastes like what I would imagine. I used to love the double patty burger but now it's drowning in grease, the lettuce is old and yellow, the tomatoes are almost white and it's usually loaded with too many condiments like mustard. What is worse is the burger is usually iced cold despite the fact there is a wendys within walking distance of us. They are serving up old, greasy, cold food. If that doesn't turn you off enough, the drinks taste like chlorine water. Overall what is even more upsetting is Arby's bought Wendys so I can imagine you will start to see Wendys closing...
