Now I don't have to bother going to the mall, try to find parking or fight with the crowds to get a cinnamon taste treat at home. — I found at my local food store in the bread section by the cinnamon bread...Cinnabon Cinnamon bread with cinnamon bursts. I like Cinnabon because they use a Russian cinnamon that has not only a wonderful taste, but a fantastic aroma when toasting. Oh goose bumps just thinking about it. — Tips for this great bread...why not whip up a batch of french toast? I use: —...

As a recent Peapod promotion, I received a free loaf of Sara Lee Soft & Smooth 100% Honey Wheat Bread. It was a BIG loaf (ten two-slice servings) and I was also struck by how pretty this bread is -- if you were going to paint a still-life which involved a loaf of bread, this would be the perfect choice. Of course, beauty is only crust-deep so I was glad that Sara Lee Soft & Smooth 100% Honey Wheat also tasted delicious. Although it is whole wheat bread, it is indeed soft and smooth and lighter in texture. The low calorie count and light texture lead me to believe that extra air has been kneaded into the dough but that is not necessarily a bad thing. — STATS: — Two slices constitute a single serving which contains 150 calories with 20 calories from fat. There are also two grams total fat, half a gram saturated fat, zero trans fat, one gram polyunsaturated fat, zero each monounsaturated fat and cholesterol, 270 mg. sodium, 26 total carbs,...

I love the flavor and texture of Sara Lee soft and smooth white bread and it is perfect for everyday lunches. Each slice is soft, but not chewy or crumbly. I love that the bread is made with whole grains, so it is healthy and good for you. The bread stays fresh and is healthy. Each serving of two slices is only 150 calories and two grams of fat. The bread has a light flavor and is perfect for any sandwich. This is my new favorite bread because it tastes great and it is good for...

At one time I only bought the cheap brands of bread, my husband decided to buy sara lee soft and smooth bread to try it out. When I used the first piece of bread as soon as I took it out of the package I could tell a difference. It was thicker and fresher. The taste was so much better than the cheap kind. Sara Lee stays fresher twice as long. Now, we spend the extra 25 cents on bread and enjoy it more than ever! Try once and you wont stop! —...

Ecce Panis creates gourmet artisan breads. Each bread is hand crafted and stone baked. — The company makes baguette, tuscan, ciabatta, focaccia, white, rye and organic breads. This is just a few; the list goes on and on. — One of my favorites is the Semolina Batard. It is crispy on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. I will use this bread for sandwiches, crostini, toast in the morning, croutons, and after a day, if there is any left over I will make bread crumbs. — Ecce Panis breads are made with no preservatives, artificial flavors or colors. The bread is low-fat, cholesterol free and has 0g trans fat per serving. — These breads can be on the pricey side. At my local Acme I pay almost $4.00 per loaf. I know that's really high, but a recent trip to BJ's Wholesale Club, produced these breads at 2 loaves for $4. and some change. — If you are a bread-head, you will love the Ecce...

This bread tastes great. It packs a lot of dietary fiber, but doesn't have that dry cardboard taste that whole wheat bread has. It does have a slightly sweet taste, but I use it for everything - from egg sandwiches to tuna salad to peanut butter and jelly. It is smaller than your typical slice of bread, but the size is part of its appeal. You can make a great sandwich without ending up tasting mostly bread. After eating Arnold's Flax and Fiber bread I will never buy a different brand again! ...

Somehow a product named "Farmhouse" evokes the image of something which is comforting, hearty and delicious in a down-to-earth sort of way. I must say that Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse Harvest 7 Grain Bread did not disappoint me. This is BIG bread -- a slice of this is as close to a slab of anything which we are likely to find in a commercially packaged loaf. While there are bits of grains and seeds in this, they are not overdone and the texture itself is soft but dense and chewy, topped with a really special crust. The bread remained moist and fresh down to the last crumb. — STATS: — Each slice is a single serving which contains 110 calories with 15 calories from fat. There are one and a half grams total fat, a half a gram each saturated fat and polyunsaturated fat, zero each trans fat, monounsaturated fat, and cholesterol, 170 mg. sodium, 21 grams total carbs, two grams dietary fiber, three grams sugars, and four grams...

The dependable bakers of Brownberry have come up with something which lives up to the label's claim of being a "...special loaf of bread". Special is exactly what Arnold Natural Flax & Fiber Bread is -- delicious as well as being not too dense, too hard, or too crunchy. (Those are seeds in this bread, not little round stones.) This wonderful loaf is crammed with too many ingredients to list here including many grains, wheat germ, oats and flax seeds. Also in the dough are brown sugar, raisin juice concentrate and some other things which convey a certain sweetness to the bread, but it is pleasant without being overwhelming. — STATS: — A single 33 gram slice of Arnold Natural Flax & Fiber Bread is considered to be one serving which contains 80 calories with only 15 calories from fat. There are one and a half grams total fat, zero each saturated, trans and monounsaturated fat, one gram polyunsaturated fat, zero cholesterol, 160 mg. sodium,...

I was never a cornbread person until I met a friend and his family. They ground their own corn and it turned into the most delicious cornbread and after that I have been hooked. — I like the tad bit of sweetness that cornbread has and the texture is soft and moist. — Tonight we were going to grill out and the weather of course was not working with us, but I still had a hankering for cornbread and I had Hodgson Mill Cornbread mix on hand and I thought I would give it a try to go with my indoor BBQ chicken I was making. — The chicken, corn on the cob and potatoes turned out very good (I didn't burn it), but the cornbread turned out to be a bust. I made them into muffins per the directions (easy directions) and the first taste I was bummed. It was flat, bland tasting, dry and no sweetness that most corn breads have that we have tried. Just flat tasting and no umph. — I think I will pass on this brand for a box cornbread mix and go...

I love the idea of a quick and easy way to make pizza. But the Boboli falls far short of good pizza to me. — What I did like was the minimal packaging and the fact that I dont have to pre cook a crust then add toppings and cook again. It is also good in that you can custom pick your own sauce and toppings, using a higher quality than you may find at a restaurant. — What I dont like is the aftertaste. It is somewhat bitter and tastes like bad preservatives or chemicals. I tried it a few times to be fair, but each one had the same bitter aftertaste. — I guess I have to stick with ordering my pizza out. —...
